The Gold Wok is a nice, not-too-large restaurant, and therefore not as loud as many other large Chinese restaurants. The buffet was very tasty and the price was reasonable. There was ample parking. I would happily recommend the restaurant.

It's shown as open here, but it's actually closed. You only find out when you go there and read the notices on the door. Wasted time.

We usually go there for lunch. Huge selection of food, you can sit comfortably and it's not too loud in the restaurant. For 14.50 for a buffet you can't complain. (lunch buffet) In the evening you have even more choice (you can have exotic animals prepared for you) which of course costs an extra €10.

There was a lot to choose from and super tasty. There was a lot of choice at the counter where you could have something fried, especially fish, a lot of choice which is not available in Paderborn

I have a gluten allergy and told the waiter. They gave me good advice and the food was great and a large portion. (Poulet sweet and sour with vegetables and rice) I tolerated the food perfectly. Thumbs up 👍🙏

We really liked the restaurant “Gold Wok”. This was mainly due to the tasty and well-presented food as well as the friendly service. There is some deduction in the ambience. You can still tell that it was once a home-style restaurant. But in any case, we are determined to come back again.

Das Ambiente ähnelt einer besseren Raststätte. Alles schmeckt gleich, jede Sauce schmeckt komischerweise wie die Andere, alles ist sehr laff dafür aber ölig und zu wenig gewürzt. Ob fertig oder frisch gebraten, man hat immer den selben Geschmack. Getränke die auf der Karte sind gibt es dort oft aber nicht zu bestellen. Leider zu viel zusammen gewürfeltes. Z.B. gehört Rahmspinat, Kartoffelpüree Bratkartoffeln und Krautsalat nicht in ein asiatisches Buffet. Von Pommes ganz zu schweigen, wobei letztere mittlerweile ja leider überall vertreten sind. (Beim Griechen isst man schließlich auch keine Spaghetti Bolognese). Der Service war ebenfalls schlecht, man serviert dem Gast seine Bestellung und reicht sie nicht einfach in die Mitte so das man sich diese selbst nehmen muss. Nie wieder dieser Laden!!! Nachtrag Dezember 2024 es ist tatsächlich noch ekelhafter geworden! Das ist tatsächlich der schlechteste Asiate bei dem ich jemals war! Ich habe keine Vorurteile und habe nichts gegen das Haus. Nur kann ich nicht ansatzweise die positiven Bewertungen verstehen (ich komme übrigens ursprünglich aus der Gastronomie und gehe häufig essen).

We had dinner there yesterday with my adult children. The waitress greeted us with a question "how many people are there?" No good day, no hello. The beer mats were thrown at us It's like handing out chips in a casino... When did it feel like the waitresses didn't feel like working. The only one who was disturbing was the customer. We used to go there a lot but what we experienced now was terrible and we won't be visiting this place again!!

I absolutely love being here. The staff is super friendly and the food tastes incredibly delicious. There is always a large selection. I think there is something for everyone here. The buffet is always refilled straight away and everything is always warm and freshly prepared.

Our absolute tribe Mongolian! We really enjoy being here and feel comfortable every time. Great waiters and waitresses and the boss is absolutely great. The food is always good and we have never been disappointed. From soup to baked dishes or the grill. Everything is always fresh and delicious. We will continue to come again and again.

This restaurant is a delight for all Asian cuisine connoisseurs. Very cozy interior, attentive staff and delicious food. Big advantage over the chaotic, overpriced big city canteens. Despite all the (justified) criticism, one must not forget the beauty. Thank you very much for allowing us to be your guests. We are already looking forward to our next visit 😃

The raw meat should not be allowed to be fried, it is of inferior quality and absolutely not edible, especially after it has been fried to death by the demotivated cook. The service staff can hardly speak any German and smoke a lot together with the chefs right at the door to the beer garden, so that the dining room has a nice smell of smoke and you almost smell like an ashtray when you leave the shop. In general, the food is of poor quality, but how can you offer quality if the chefs prefer to smoke and hate their job instead of cooking with love and dedication.

Big buffet. Price / offer: Very good. Fairly cozy atmosphere for an all you can eat. Depends on where you sit. From the buffet onwards it becomes more comfortable and on the terrace it is also very comfortable. Large selection of desserts, fresh fish and fresh meat. Mongolian Grill takes some time depending on how busy it is. Also, once I had a small plate with some chili, there was no spiciness and the other time it was, well, pain of death 🤷🏻‍♀️. Toilet facilities very clean. Drinks also come relatively quickly, so it's best to order with a number if it's something that doesn't seem to be ordered there very often. Wrong delivery of the drink but was corrected accordingly, without discussion. We were there earlier in the evening so it was pretty relaxed at first.

Food was very fresh, sauces with different taste and composition, good quality of meat and fish. Really enjoyed this meal ! I visited a lot of chinese restaurants but this one is something different.

WOW, That was my first impression when I stood at the rich buffet. The various dishes were closed with a lid, which meant that the food was always hot. Refilling also went smoothly on Saturday evening; nothing I wanted to take was ever empty. What particularly caught my eye was the large selection of freshly grilled meat and fish, but also the dessert selection was very large! Our new favorite Asian restaurant 😁

Great, very lavish buffet with a variety of dishes: nothing is missing here. There is something for every taste: soup, salad, sushi, finger food, sauces, cakes, ice cream, fruit, chocolate fountains and of course all typical Asian dishes, very tasty. You can't try everything ;) The staff is friendly, fast and authentic. It may be a bit noisy due to the size of the restaurant and the many guests. I would happily recommend this restaurant.

I was there with my family. The food was very over salted to make customers drink more. (A glass over €4) Food was inedible and not at all tasty. There were no vegan dishes, as it says on Google. Just fries, rice, pasta and vegetables!! Food was not refilled and was cooked very carelessly!! The restaurant lacks beauty and everything is so narrow that I bumped into everything. I don't recommend this restaurant because we spent over €110 for something loveless

Worst restaurant. Worst all you can eat food place. Surprised to see how this restaurant got this much of rating inspire of worst food. I think majority of 5 star givers might be non Asian.

We eat there regularly and have never been disappointed. You can put together your own food at the buffet, including sauce. A selection of ready-made dishes such as soups and fried noodles invite you to eat them straight away. Dessert is also provided. From cake to ice cream. I think everyone will find something there. Price-performance ratio is absolutely OK! Bring hunger 😉

Immer freundliches Personal, das Essen ist von der Auswahl riesig und für jeden ist was dabei. Es wird immer zügig nachgefüllt ! Die Qualität des Essens ist wirklich gut! Wir sind alle 6 bis 8 Wochen dort zum Essen das es so vielfältig ist und sich jeder was passendes aussuchen kann

Wir waren inzwischen das 2. Mal beim Gold Wok um Buffet zu essen und wurden auch dieses Mal nicht enttäuscht. Es war zwar mega voll, dennoch ist es ein nettes Restaurant.

Ich war immer zufrieden, große Auswahl an Speisen " Buffet" und immer Lecker.

Waren am 2. Weihnachtstag da. Empfang total herzlich. Service okay. (War halt seeeehr voll) Essen (Buffet) riiiiiiiiiiieige Auswahl, alles frisch! Preis 24.90€ p. P für so eine Auswahl absolut in Ordnung. Dankeschön!

Das beste asiatische Restaurant im ganzen Umkreis. Das Essen immer frisch und super lecker 😋. Sowohl vom Teppanyaki Grill als auch vom restlichen Buffet. Das Essen ist heiß und wird laufend nachgefüllt. Der Service ist Tipp Top. Im Sommer kann man wunderbar draußen sitzen. Kinder können im Garten spielen. Parkplätze stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung.

Wir waren zum Weihnachts Essen beim Gold Wok, wir kommen extra aus Paderborn weil es hier so lecker ist 😊 Trotz der Vollheit war der Service einfach fantastisch, alle super freundlich, Getränke kamen zügig, Teller wurden sehr schnell abgeräumt. 🙏 Die Gerichte zum Braten lassen waren auf den Punkt gegart und mit genau der richtigen Menge an Sauce. (Nicht so trocken und verbraten wie in manch anderen China Buffet Restaurants) 😇 Auch das Sushi, Salate, die fertigen Gerichte, der Nachtisch waren sehr gut und es wurde immer zügig nachgefüllt. Beim Gehen gab es noch ein kleines, nettes Geschenk überreicht. Wir werden auf jeden Fall immer wieder kommen, Gold Wok macht wirklich ALLES richtig! 🙏✨️🤩

Der Service ist super, sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Das Essen schmeckt okay, mittags meist besser, da es etwas leerer ist und gerade am Grill etwas mehr Zeit zum zubereiten genommen wird. Abends ist Sushi meist leer, das rohe Fleisch liegt schon recht lange dort und das fertig, warme Essen schmeckt okay. Nachtisch schmeck eigentlich ja immer :) Kann gold wok aber als Standard Mongole-all-you-can-eat-Restaurant empfehlen.

Neues Restaurant in Cappel (asiatische Küche) Ein unglaublich großes Angebot. Die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam und bringen jedes mal neue frische Sachen ins Buffet ein. Wenn man sonst oft bei All-you-can-eat Buffets abgefertigt wird, ist es hier sogar so, dass immer wieder Erfrischungstücher und Appetizer an den Tisch gebracht werden.

Essen war leider nur lauwarm bis sogar ganz kalt, obwohl wir direkt um 12 Uhr da waren. Nach Getränken wurden wir kein 2. Mal gefragt. Wurden leider nur die Stammkunden regelmäßig bedient

Wir waren da an einem Samstag Mittag mit sechs Familien und haben den Geburtstag meiner Schwiegermutter gefeiert. Wir saßen alle zusammen an einem langen Tisch bzw. an vielen zusammengeschobenen Tischen. Das Essen war lecker und das Personal nett. Es war sauber und die Toiletten geputzt. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht. Ich empfehle es auf jeden Fall weiter.

Restaurant im mongolischem Style. Man wird zum Tisch geführt und hat viel Auswahl. Mein Favorit ist das frisch zubereiten von Speisen am Teppanyaki Grill.
