Me and my brother love the food here. I also like bringing new friends here, which is exactly what I wanted to do today. We were really happy. Only to find out that the opening hours have somehow changed. It would be helpful if these were updated too...We were very disappointed.

I think the food here is particularly good. I particularly liked the fries and waffles!

Not as good as it used to be. That one time I visited the hostess was quite rude. Food was ok.

Chicken tenders was hard. Cross fries were good. Pyongyang burger was ok. We didnt like the Waffle chicken either

Good food and very friendly owner. We ended up here by chance and were thrilled. We immediately started talking to the owner because we couldn't decide. Very relaxed atmosphere. The fried chicken is very tasty. The burger tastes amazing but isn't really that great either. Food was prepared very quickly. The only point of criticism is the prices. Unfortunately, €12 for a small burger that doesn't fill you up is a lot.

The curry was very good. The restaurant doesn't seem well maintained, especially the outside is very unkempt. There is a broken mat on the floor, lots of cigarette butts, everything is a bit weathered.

When we ordered, we were told that it would take about 30 minutes for the food to be ready. We thought that was great because we could prepare ourselves for a bit of a wait and, in terms of time, it was perfectly fine for us. We also enjoyed the food. The only negative point is that you sit pretty close to the other guests. Next to us sat a family with three children who left wet gummy bears on their seats. Of course it's a coincidence who's sitting next to you, but that spoiled our visit experience a bit.

The food is really good! The service was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was super pleasant! I highly recommend it.

The quiet ambience of the Oeder Weg makes this place perfect for a relaxed visit. The focus on fried chicken is immediately apparent, and the chicken itself is delicious. Juicy, with a crispy skin. The fries are a great complement to the chicken and complete the meal well. The clear highlight are the sauces. A mix of different tastes – sweet, sour and spicy. It's a shame that the specialty, fried chicken with waffles, wasn't available. Nevertheless, the fried chicken was perhaps one of the best in Frankfurt!

I've wanted to try the waffles with chicken for a long time, I love dishes with sweet and salty components. The sauces were positive, although they were quite expensive at €2.50. Unfortunately, the fried chicken and the tenders were disappointing in terms of taste. I couldn't detect any spice, really no taste, no salt, nothing. The waffle was okay, tasted very strongly of vanilla extract. The sweet predominates too much. I didn't taste the chili either, maybe I forgot it. Lattice potatoes were good. Overall, unfortunately, I can't recommend it at all, as there is simply too much strong competition in Frankfurt in terms of taste when it comes to Korean BBQ.

I had the veggie burger (cauliflower patty), which tasted good, but unfortunately was a bit spicy. Unfortunately, the taste, portion size and ambience do not match the expensive price, so the stars (service and ambience) are deducted. The outdoor area offers seating. However, since you have to share the bench in the middle rows with the other table, it is difficult to get in and it is very uncomfortable to sit.

I actually wanted to rate the food but the employee was so rude. It took me a while to decide because I had questions. Then he says 'I've told you twice how big the portion is' or the cracker as a greeting 'to eat here or take away???' no hello nothing. If you're in a bad mood, you don't have to take it out on paying customers.

The young woman ran after me out of the store and wanted to coerce me. “They can’t leave yet, they have to clear their tray first.” Me: “No, I don’t have to.” You: “Yes, that is our concept. Every customer has to do that.” How now really? There is such a thing! Runs after me aggressively and tries to coerce me and insults me in front of all the guests as A....l... I reported the matter. By the way, what didn't the woman understand about the self-service concept? What how? Self-service. So the customer serves himself. What he does is that he picks up the food himself and pays for it straight away. This does not mean that the customer then does the dishes or enters into other obligations out of solidarity with cashiers who are unwilling to work. Have you ever been to McDonalds? They also have self-service and no one runs after you insultingly if you leave your tray on the table. To eat: I didn't like it. It was too greasy for me and I didn't like the sauce either. The fried chicken was decent, wouldn't say it's amazing. But it's too expensive at 16 Euros for 4 large pieces. There are other Korean places in Frankfurt with far better deals.

I didn't like it. I was particularly looking forward to the fried chicken, but the meat was quite dry and hardly tasted like anything. The breading was very thin and still very light. The fries were okay and so were the sauces. But overall not very very tasty and (unfortunately) not recommended.

Very upset with this place. Wanted to come and try my first taste of Korean chicken. Showed up at 9:40 PM. Guess what? Even though it says closes at 10, they have the place all packed up so they could go home exactly at 10. Poor management. If you’re going to stay open till 10, serve until 10. Don’t make me waste a 25 minute walk for nothing.

Delicious offer. I ordered a sandwich/burger and Criss Cross Fries and had a good meal. Chicken was a little oilier than expected as it dripped onto my hands while eating. Prices for food are ok, only the drinks are a bit overpriced. The atmosphere is also quite nice, you sit pretty close to the other tables.

The chicken was inedible. It was of poor quality, the waffle was “ok”. On the first attempt the chicken was still raw, on the second attempt it was still bland and not cooked through. The breading tasted like nothing. The cleanliness of the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. Not what it used to be!!!

Unfortunately not what it used to be. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the cleanliness in the store have deteriorated extremely. The burgers were dripping with oil, which no longer smelled fresh, and the chicken was still pretty raw but fried with a very thick, oily breading. The sauces and the fries also tasted different and unfortunately were no longer good. Unfortunately the waffle iron is still broken. Unfortunately, the store didn't seem clean inside either. All the seat cushions were dirty and stained and so was the floor. We won't be coming back for a while. It's a shame because it used to be different.

Compared to the last visit, this one was very disappointing. The chicken fillets were incredibly hard, fried/fried for far too long. The side sauce was also far too thick and made everything seem very dry.

The service was super friendly and the food was really delicious. I can recommend everyone to try the food here, it's worth it!

I'll get to the point. The chicken was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. I've eaten a lot of fried chicken. It was perfectly fried and seasoned. I love the combination of sweet and savory. The waffle was tasty but the star of the show is the chicken. One thing I would do next time is order the maple syrup on the side. It got my waffle a little soggy. Other than that, it was delicious. I loved the jalapeños slices too. It just adds a different level. Paid in cash but not sure if card was accepted.

Small cosy place serving Korean chicken..since I'm a vegetarian, took a curry reis bowl. It was equally delicious. The lotus chips ,potato chips , pickled onions that were given with it were also amazing.

Since previous attempts to describe my experiences on this platform failed because they were deleted by some filter function, I'm now trying again. This time even with evidence. After I ate here at the end of May 2023, I had a gastrointestinal infection for the next two weeks (whether it was salmonella or something else, I can't say 100%, I can only quote my doctor said that it was very likely that I had salmonella poisoning), if the symptoms hadn't finally subsided, I would have even had to go to an infection clinic. I was initially treated with a general broad-spectrum antibiotic. Now to the actual experience: I ate chicken there and it tasted like fish. Since this is Korean barbecue, I wanted to talk things through first and convinced myself that the chicken was probably fried in fish oil. Immediately after sleeping I vomited several times and from then on I suffered from severe diarrhea. Then I went to the doctor and then I wrote an email to the health department on June 6th, 2023. The deficiencies may well have been remedied as the restaurant is still in operation. But I will never set foot in there again.

Very tasty chicken strips and sauces (especially the seoul mayo) and very inexpensive for the portion, will definitely stop by more often!

Leckeres koreanisches Fried-Chicken Selbstbedienungsrestaurant. Nicht allzu viel Platz, aber reicht für Fastfood. Das Chicken und die Gitterpommes waren sehr lecker. Personal war freundlich & das Essen war schnell zubereitet.

Absolut leckere Chicken Waffles und gute Auswahl an Getränken. Einziger Abzug beim Essen ist, dass es leichter zu essen wäre, wenn man Filet bites anstelle von Drums hätte. Sonst echt ein absolut Gelungenes Gericht!

Ordered from Lieferando. Delivery guy was very friendly and fast but the chicken itself was very disappointing. Chicken tenders were not tender at all... Dry and hard... Chicken legs - or super salty and tasted not fresh, or no taste. Please check the marinade!! Overall very perfunctory.

Chicken war wirklich gut Soßen haben gut dazu gepasst und die Gitterpommes fand ich richtig gut. Service nur 1 Stern weil es keinen Service gab alles selber holen abräumen ect. Das Ambiente naja denke ein anderer Standort wäre schöner aber das kann man sich ja nicht immer aussuchen

Gut, jedoch mit "Korean Style" hat die Restaurant wenig zu tun. Vor allem Reißorte und die Beilagen... Über Hühnchen kann man noch diskutieren.

Premium Fried Chicken. Love the different sauces. I've had most of what's on the menu and I've never been disappointed.

2 Sterne für die freundliche Bedienung. Das essen eigentlich Katastrophe ... Die Hähnchenstücke waren fasrige, trocken und die Panade sehr ölig. Die Cross Fries ebenso sehr ölig und in der Fritteuse versteinert !!! Ich werde da nicht mehr essen.

Unfassbar lecker. Wir haben Chicken Tenders + Yangyeom Sauce, Chicken Wings + Spicy Peanut Sauce und Gitter pommes + Seoul Mayo Sauce bestellt. Die Saucen, insbesondere die Seoul Mayo, hat mich komplett umgehauen. Auch das Hähnchen war außen schön kross und innen super zart.Absolute Empfehlung. Ich würde immer wieder hingehen. Bedienung war zudem freundlich und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte.

Empfehlung von meinem Sohn, oft vorbeigelaufen und eher unscheinbar. Leckeres abwechslungsreiches Essen und toll präsentiert, wir kommen wieder.

Sehr gutes, saftiges und absolut leckeres Fried Chicken. Um welter besser als bei KFC. Die Dips ebenfalls sehr lecker vor allem die Chili Soße. Auch die Gitterpommes waren mega gut, vor allem schön Crunchy. Sehr faire Preise, gute Portionen und nettes Personal. Gerne wieder und eine ganz klare Empfehlung.

Nie wieder GoKio. Wartezeiten sind eine Frechheit - Service schlecht - wirken komplett unorganisiert und verwechseln Bestellungen. Zudem nachmittags einfach eine Stunde geschlossen halten obwohl online überall geöffnet steht… Lohnt sich nicht egal wie gut es schmeckt - lieber zu rooster in der Moselstraße gehen…

Great Food and Great Price! Had the Fried Chicken with my kids, the taste was very good and kids even love it. My wife got the Veggie Burger, she's very pick with food as a vegetarian, she loved it. If we're visiting Frankfurt would be up for coming here again. Service was also good.

Ich habe jetzt schon einige Male die Chicken Tender gegessen und diese sind immer sehr saftig und niemals trocken. Die Hausgemachten Soßen sind ebenfalls der Hammer, nur leider kann ich mich nie für eine Entscheiden, da ich sowohl die Erdnusssoße, als auch die scharfe Soße mag...es gibt schlimmeres. Went to Gokio bros after a day of travelling and was insanely hungry for something tasty and lazy. The food was incredible, the portions were good, and the beer helped wash it all down. They also make homemade lemonade which was fabulous.

wir finden das Essen einfach nur extrem lecker. Schön dass es euch in Frankfurt gibt. Die Zutaten sind frisch, das Essen wird mit Hingabe zubereitet ..... die Endprodukte sind sehr delikat. Sehr empfehlenswert finden wir die verschiedenen Saucen (kleiner Tipp: am Besten gleich mal alle 5 probieren, dann wisst ihr, was für euch am Besten passt). Wir freuen uns auf unsere nächste Bestellung. Die hohe Kundenfrequenz ist die beste Visitenkarte. Ich feiere den Mann am Empfang der liebevoll das fertige Essen in große Tüten verpackt und genauso liebevoll die Aufkleber auf die Tüten und (Essens-)Behälter anbringt.

FOOD & DRINKS Korean style fried chicken in Frankfurt? Count me in! At first I was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer Chicken Wings on their menu but then I saw their special Chicken Wings item written on a chalk board next to the counter. So we ordered the regular fried chicken with yangyeom sauce and the chicken wings. The one sin that you are not allowed to do is to overcook or undercook the chicken. Unfortunately the wings were a bit overcooked and therefore the meat was a tad too dry. At least they got the regular chicken spot on! Crunchy, juicy and tender chicken meat. The yangyeom sauce didn't taste like any yangyeom sauce I had in Korea or from authentic Korean restaurants in Düsseldorf but it still was yummy. The special sauce that was served with the wings was vinegary. Not bad but not what I hoped for. SERVICE I am sorry to say this but service looked quite unprofessional. The guy at the counter is a really nice dude but everything looked so unorganized and chaotic. That said service was fast and friendly. ATMOSPHERE Place is small but looks fun, young and fresh. I love it. RATING They could have gotten the full rating with ease but overcooked chicken wings are just a super hard no go. The only reason I give them four stars is because the other chicken was really good. I personally just wouldn't pick the yangyeom sauce again.

Bevor es eine Lobeshymne gibt, verrate ich erstmal was ich bestellst babe. Für mich gab es den Veggie Burger mit einem Fried Blumenkohl und Criss Cross Fries mit einer Erdnussbutter Sauce. Der Burger war unglaublich gut und in Sachen Veggie Burger ein heftiger Gaumenschmaus. Die Buns kommen von der Bäckerei Zeit für Brot, der Blumenkohl Pattie ein Genuss und die Toppings inklusive Sauce waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Alles hatte obendrauf eine sehr angenehme schärfe. Fazit, toller Laden im Oeder Weg und Veggie Fans bekommen hier trotz einer Vielfalt an Chicken einen grandiosen Burger!

I didn‘t even know that GOKIO Bros and Sonamu are „siblings“. But that‘s why it was an excellent experience! Their korean cuisine is divine. Highly recommend!

das Konzept ist klar strukturiert, die Speisen und die Saucen sind sehr lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und bemüht. Die dargebotene Schärfe gefällt mir sehr gut (wo scharf draufsteht ist auch scharf drinnen). Der gut frequentierte Laden ist eine gute Visitenkarte. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

I ordered some takeout from here and really liked the food. The fried chicken was very juicy and the fries were really tasty as well. I chose the yogurt sauce which went really well with the chicken. I would definitely recommend this place.
