Small but nice. This very inconspicuous shop in the heart of Frankfurt convinced me during my last search for something unique to eat. Korean fast food, generally a rare niche, is the topic here. I had the Pyongyang Burger, which deviates from the norm with an unusual, slightly Asian spiciness and Korean sauces and offers a previously relatively unusual taste experience. The atmosphere is pleasant and the nice gentleman at the checkout gives a feeling of attention. In terms of price, the dishes are very reasonable compared to the portion size, which is definitely filling. Gladly again

An absolute highlight! I recently drove from Lake Constance to Frankfurt with a few friends just to eat at GOKIO Bros. - and it was absolutely worth it! The food was so delicious that we even went there twice in one day. Every dish was a delight and we were not disappointed. The presumed owner was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. You rarely experience such warmth! We're already looking forward to the next time - when we'll go to Frankfurt again to have a fantastic meal here again. Thank you for this great experience!

Ordered online via Wolt: unfortunately forgot the Chicken, but then we talked via phone. They owned their mistake and brought it all the way to me late at night! It was a long work day for them and me. Thus 5 stars for trying to do the right thing despite a mistake! They literally went the extra mile and I will stay a customer!

The staff was pretty quick in preparing the food. The atmosphere is good as the store is small but well decorated with that typical Korean restaurant feel. The food was very tasty and the portions were very large, in fact I couldn't finish it all. Neither does my friend... It is a self-service restaurant, you pick up your food at the checkout.

The store clerk badmouthed other chicken shops to promote his own meat quality. We ordered the chicken tenders and the Pyongyang Burger with Criss Cross Fries. The disappointment was great. The chicken tenders were very tough and dry. It was difficult to cut through the tenders with a knife. The Pyongyang Burger was bland and the Criss Cross Fries had a fishy taste. Since there is no fish on the menu, I suspect that the oil in which the fries were fried was rancid, which suggests that the oil was not changed often enough. Shame about the money. For what is offered the price is not worth it. Expensive and poor quality.

The lattice fries had a rancid, fishy taste and the tender chicken was dry and fried to death, the breading so tough that you could hardly cut it with a knife. The owner also tried to convince us that the chickens were organically free-range to justify the quantity and price, after we wanted to know whether there were really only 3 lean pieces of chicken for €10. The Pyongyang burger was just as bad in terms of quality and the sauce was bland. I don't understand all the positive reviews, have people lost all standards and taste?! The food is a complete disappointment, the price is a rip-off for the quantity and you should stay away from it.

Actually a nice location, but you don't win any stars with a neglected outdoor area, disgustingly stained seat cushions, dirty decorations and a demolished toilet. The chicken was ok, the supposedly hot sauce was terrible: lots of sugar, lots of starch, no flavor...it's a shame Price-performance was also inadequate

The seating in front of the fast food restaurant is totally rotten - as is the floor... see photos! Things don't look much better inside. The chicken was definitely not fresh but pre-cooked - either generally or occasionally - definitely dry and tough! The frying fat wasn't the freshest either - it had a rancid taste. The prices are disproportionate to what is on offer. 20ml sauce for €2.50 - actually you would need at least 50ml to get flavor from the fried parts. The employees seem listless and aren't really on task. In the end it was a waste of money for us. No recommendation!

Went there on a Friday evening and managed to get one of the few tables inside. The shop is small but cozy. The food was really really good. The menu is clear, but fried chicken lovers will get their money's worth. We had a burger and a salad, both were absolutely great. The staff was also super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The service was also excellent - the team was extremely friendly, gave us the best advice and made recommendations that completely convinced us. Price-performance ratio is absolutely great here! The curry was very good. The restaurant doesn't seem well maintained, especially the outside is very unkempt. There is a broken mat on the floor, lots of cigarette butts, everything is a bit weathered.

The fries are a great complement to the chicken and complete the meal well. The clear highlight are the sauces. A mix of different tastes – sweet, sour and spicy. It's a shame that the specialty, fried chicken with waffles, wasn't available. Nevertheless, the fried chicken was perhaps one of the best in Frankfurt!

I've wanted to try the waffles with chicken for a long time, I love dishes with sweet and salty components. The sauces were positive, although they were quite expensive at €2.50. Unfortunately, the fried chicken and the tenders were disappointing in terms of taste. I couldn't detect any spice, really no taste, no salt, nothing. The waffle was okay, tasted very strongly of vanilla extract. The sweet predominates too much. I didn't taste the chili either, maybe I forgot it. Lattice potatoes were good. Overall, unfortunately, I can't recommend it at all, as there is simply too much strong competition in Frankfurt in terms of taste when it comes to Korean BBQ.

The fried chicken was decent, wouldn't say it's amazing. But it's too expensive at 16 Euros for 4 large pieces. There are other Korean places in Frankfurt with far better deals.

I didn't like it. I was particularly looking forward to the fried chicken, but the meat was quite dry and hardly tasted like anything. The breading was very thin and still very light. The fries were okay and so were the sauces. But overall not very very tasty and (unfortunately) not recommended.

Delicious offer. I ordered a sandwich/burger and Criss Cross Fries and had a good meal. Chicken was a little oilier than expected as it dripped onto my hands while eating. Prices for food are ok, only the drinks are a bit overpriced. The atmosphere is also quite nice, you sit pretty close to the other tables.

Very upset with this place. Wanted to come and try my first taste of Korean chicken. Showed up at 9:40 PM. Guess what? Even though it says closes at 10, they have the place all packed up so they could go home exactly at 10. Poor management. If you’re going to stay open till 10, serve until 10. The breading tasted like nothing. The cleanliness of the kitchen leaves a lot to be desired. Not what it used to be!!!

Unfortunately not what it used to be. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the cleanliness in the store have deteriorated extremely. The burgers were dripping with oil, which no longer smelled fresh, and the chicken was still pretty raw but fried with a very thick, oily breading. The sauces and the fries also tasted different and unfortunately were no longer good. Unfortunately the waffle iron is still broken. Unfortunately, the store didn't seem clean inside either. All the seat cushions were dirty and stained and so was the floor. We won't be coming back for a while. It's a shame because it used to be different.

I'll get to the point. The chicken was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. I've eaten a lot of fried chicken. It was perfectly fried and seasoned. I love the combination of sweet and savory. The waffle was tasty but the star of the show is the chicken. One thing I would do next time is order the maple syrup on the side. It got my waffle a little soggy. Other than that, it was delicious. I loved the jalapeños slices too. It just adds a different level. Paid in cash but not sure if card was accepted.

Small cosy place serving Korean chicken..since I'm a vegetarian, took a curry reis bowl. It was equally delicious. The lotus chips ,potato chips , pickled onions that were given with it were also amazing.

Since previous attempts to describe my experiences on this platform failed because they were deleted by some filter function, I'm now trying again. This time even with evidence. After I ate here at the end of May 2023, I had a gastrointestinal infection for the next two weeks (whether it was salmonella or something else, I can't say 100%, I can only quote my doctor said that it was very likely that I had salmonella poisoning), if the symptoms hadn't finally subsided, I would have even had to go to an infection clinic. I was initially treated with a general broad-spectrum antibiotic. Now to the actual experience: I ate chicken there and it tasted like fish. Since this is Korean barbecue, I wanted to talk things through first and convinced myself that the chicken was probably fried in fish oil. Immediately after sleeping I vomited several times and from then on I suffered from severe diarrhea. Then I went to the doctor and then I wrote an email to the health department on June 6th, 2023. Leckeres koreanisches Fried-Chicken Selbstbedienungsrestaurant. Nicht allzu viel Platz, aber reicht für Fastfood. Das Chicken und die Gitterpommes waren sehr lecker. Personal war freundlich & das Essen war schnell zubereitet.

Absolut leckere Chicken Waffles und gute Auswahl an Getränken. Einziger Abzug beim Essen ist, dass es leichter zu essen wäre, wenn man Filet bites anstelle von Drums hätte. Sonst echt ein absolut Gelungenes Gericht!

2 Sterne für die freundliche Bedienung. Das essen eigentlich Katastrophe ... Die Hähnchenstücke waren fasrige, trocken und die Panade sehr ölig. Die Cross Fries ebenso sehr ölig und in der Fritteuse versteinert !!! Ich werde da nicht mehr essen.

Unfassbar lecker. Wir haben Chicken Tenders + Yangyeom Sauce, Chicken Wings + Spicy Peanut Sauce und Gitter pommes + Seoul Mayo Sauce bestellt. Die Saucen, insbesondere die Seoul Mayo, hat mich komplett umgehauen. Auch das Hähnchen war außen schön kross und innen super zart.Absolute Empfehlung. Ich würde immer wieder hingehen. Bedienung war zudem freundlich und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte.
