There are good restaurants, and there are those rare places that uplift a neighbourhood. Göki is a generous and large-hearted soul, whose passion it is to strike a connection and serve the people around him. Whenever you visit, his demenour is sure to improve your mood. The warm reception I got from him was the heartiest I have received in any restaurant in Germany. From this visit, I could sense that Göki went beyond running a business. He served us much like old friendly neighbours would. While leaving this place, I instantly felt more connected to my neighbourhood. Not many restaurants in the world make me feel this way. As you can see, this review isn't about his food, which is great (like the other reviews say). It is about an experience I had with a rare kind of person - one that I will go on to cherish for a long time. As one other review here has decleared: Göki muss man einfach persönlich erlebt haben.

What a beautiful discovery! We were looking for catering for a small party and found the shop by chance. Inconspicuous from the outside, but according to reviews, really good. So many people can't be wrong. And that's right, they don't. 😁 Super nice, super tasty and extremely uncomplicated. Everything was there at the agreed time, we just had to take it with us. Was fun. To be recommended without reservation.

Restaurant and Späti in one. The food is always freshly prepared and individual requests are always catered for. Let me begin with the atmosphere. The place is a little comfortable gem right on the u7 yorkstr. The owner, Göki, takes incredible care of making you feel welcome. The guy is one of the friendliest ive met in the city so far. And now, the food. Absolutely incredible. Ive had several dishes from the talented hands of Göki and i can tell you that it was an unforgettable experience. Finishing with the pricing - prices are even cozier than the environment itself. I celebrated my birthday at Göki’s Kitchen. We were allowed to renovate his event rooms and brought in a professional sound system. You could say we turned the kitchen into a pop-up club. Göki and his colleagues are always helpful and super lovable. Thank you for allowing us to take advantage of your store so much. :)

Unfortunately I haven’t tried the food, I went for a private birthday event, the atmosphere was very nice and the owner extremely extremely friendly and enthusiastic!!! We had two rooms in the back, one with s dance floor and an area with a pool table.. also, with outside tables. From what I saw the food seems very tasty and good prices.

A little bit of Späti, a little bit of a snack and with a lot of heart. Whether you just drink something or eat something, you can relax from the stress of everyday life here. The food is delicious and crunchy and special requests are responded to with creativity. The drink selection is huge and you can sit outside and do a bit of people watching while you wait for your food. Unconventional place and a very nice service.

The owner of this place is such a nice guy. He made us feel very welcome. We came down because it had 5 stars and we weren’t disappointed. He made us a custom selection of tapas and gave us free raki drinks because of a slight delay in service. Best place in Berlin. Great staff, food and drinks. Everything is made fresh directly in front of your eyes. All homemade with fresh ingredients. If you want to go all the way, ask for off the menu dishes and specialties. I have been there now for many years and never regretted it.

Göki is by far the best address for pretty much everything. A quick beer? Go to Goki! Just got home from work at 10:30 p.m. and still feel like delicious homemade pasta, wraps, sandwiches,...? Go to Goki! A game of billiards with your friends? Go to Goki! There's everything here, no nonsense, no frills, but with a lot of heart.

There are two tables in the backside next to billiard room, good place to chat with your friends. Food is delicious, service is a bit slow, probably only man works. There are also interesting books in the shelf that you can read or play chess while waiting your order to come.

What can you say? When you're there for the first time, you regret all the years you haven't visited Göki. There is no place where you receive such a warm welcome and at the same time receive such delicacies. Göki is also an absolute man of honor, 10/10, can only be recommended to everyone.

I've been to Göki twice during my week in Berlin and I'm completely convinced. The food was delicious and really cheap. Every wish is catered for, Göki is happy to answer any questions about the food and you are welcome to try everything. All in all, really a culinary dream with great service. The next time I'm in Berlin, I'd love to come back.

We got free tea while we waited and got a whole bar table full of food for three people. The owner recommended and put together various things for us. In the end we paid around €20 and were all super full. Thank you for the hospitality and the nice conversation.

What made the food great? - Herbs and spices were used generously to result in a lot of flavor in each tapa - The selection included a thoughtful mix of pickled, roasted, and fresh vegetables - The cook knows how to handle cruciferous veggies (the broccoli and cauliflower... wow) - Our request for a gluten-free selection was cheerfully accommodated

Wer in der Nähe von „Göki Kitchen“ in Berlin-Schöneberg ist, MUSS vorbeigehen! Göki muss man einfach persönlich erlebt haben: Ein unheimlich netter, herzlicher, engagierter und beeindruckend serviceorientierter Gastgeber. Extrem große Getränkeauswahl, leckeres Essen (persönlich von Göki zubereitet!) und ein bunt gemischtes Publikum. Ich selbst bin zwar fast „um die Ecke aufgewachsen“, lebe jedoch mittlerweile nicht mehr in Berlin. Aber bei jedem Berlin-Aufenthalt ist es für mich nicht nur Pflicht und Ehrensache, sondern vor allem ein großes Vergnügen, bei Göki vorbeizuschauen!

Extrem freundlicher Gastgeber, liebevoll zubereite Sandwiches. Göki Kitchen ist in meinen persönlichen Top 10 für Essen in Berlin!

Geheimtip. Eigentlich ein "TanteEmma" Laden. Hat aber kleine sehr schmackhafte türkische Gerichte. Sitzgelegenheiten etwas rustikal aber gemütlich. Nette Atmosphäre. WC darf genutzt werden. Und der Hund durfte auch mit rein. Service gibt es nicht aber der Verkäufer macht sein bestes und ist echt freundlich. Der frisch aufgebrachte Kamillentee war echt lecker. Zum Imbiss geh ich wieder hin.

Gesund und lecker. Göki Kitchen ist ein kleiner, feiner, alternativer Platz zum Essen. Ein herzlicher Empfang und individuelle Empfehlung des Chefs für eine leckere kleine Mahlzeit, abgerundet mit einem frischen Weißwein. Mehr braucht man nicht. Eine interessante Mischung zwischen Kiosk und schneller, frischer Küche zu einem mehr als fairen Preis. Einfach und sehr charmant. Vielen Dank!

Hier schmeckt man bei jedem Gericht und bei jedem Biss, dass sich enorm viel Mühe gegeben wird. Fast alles wird selbst gemacht und ist exzellent gewürzt. If I could only recommend one restaurant to someone visiting Berlin, this would be the one. Amazing food, outstanding service, unique setting - simply one of a kind in the best possible way. If you take time to eat in, which you should, I recommend you to order outside the menu. Just ask for a combination plate, vegetarian or not, and let yourself be pleasantly surprised by Göki's creations.

Gökis's Kitchen habe ich spontan beim Schlendern durch Schöneberg's Nacht entdeckt, auf der Suche nach etwas anderem als Buletten und Currywurst in Berlin. Prompt stand ich vor dem Laden, der alles andere als gewöhnlich aussah. Er hatte eine einladende Mischung aus Bistro und Kiosk mit stilvollen Holzstühlen, Tischen und Holzkisten. Der Besitzer war sofort freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich. Also ging ich hinein und sah die Theke mit leckerem frischem Gemüse, orientalischen und andalusischen Einflüssen. Ich bestellte auf Empfehlung von Göki ein veganes Sandwich, und ich muss sagen, es war köstlich! Außerdem war ich nach 22 Uhr froh, endlich etwas Gesundes zu finden und eine Auswahl an leckerem Bier zu haben. Gökis und seine Stammkunden kamen ins Gespräch, und man fühlte sich fast wie zu Hause und nicht fremd. Ein weiteres Highlight war, dass Gökis mich nach Ladenschluss zu seiner Stammkneipe mitnahm. Am Ende war ich wirklich glücklich über diese außergewöhnliche Erfahrung und vor allem das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das auf einem Niveau wie vor der Corona-Pandemie lag. Am folgenden Tag (ich war nur für einen Tag in Berlin) besuchte ich ihn erneut, bevor es ins Ruhrgebiet ging. Über den Menschen Gökis, der sein Kitchen seit 26 Jahren betreibt, muss man nicht mehr sagen. Ich wünsche ihm weiterhin viele schöne Zeiten und dass alles frisch bleibt. Bleib so, wie du bist, Gökis, und bleib nicht aufdringlich.

Kann mich den bisherigen Rezensionen nur anschließen. Traut euch einfach dahin und seht selbst.

Göki ist ein überaus freundlicher Gastwirt und hervorragender Koch. Hier sind immer nette Gäste und gute Stimmung. Ergo ein zweites zu Hause! Mein Fazit: "Göki erleben!!"

One of my favorite memories during a two week stay in Berlin. Owner of the shop/kitchen is an incredible soul. Cares about his customers. Makes it a priority to ensure their satisfaction. Was served a combination of veggie tapas plates.. could not speak any more highly of this food. In addition to the kitchen, you have the ability to buy goodies if so desired. Do yourself a favor and understand for yourself why Göki's is a pure 5 star spot!
