Cozy restaurant, best to reserve in advance. Otherwise things will quickly get tight. Friendly, fast, professional and very tasty. A manageable menu with a fine selection of different delicacies and drinks. Something for every taste. Large portions and everything fresh and tasty at reasonable prices. A little tip: Use spaetzle with onions and cheese with the roast pork. 😋 Everything was delicious for dessert, but the Schupfnudeln with poppy seeds are really outstanding. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

A wonderful place to enjoy Swabian cuisine. The restaurant is simply furnished, but has retained the charm of the surrounding Wilhelminian style houses. We can highly recommend the Filettopfle and the Jägerschnitzel with mushroom cream. And the spaetzle puts everything to shame! We will eat here often!

It was our first time there, the food was very good, unfortunately we didn't like the local food at all, it wasn't at all comfortable and it was very loud, maybe again in the summer

Nach ca. 18 Monaten hat es mich erneut in den Glühwurm geführt. Die Bedienung ist immer noch da, diesmal klappt aber alle. Auch die Küche lieferte diesmal erstklasige Ergebnisse,, so dass die Bewertug nun auf fünf Punkte verbessert wurde.

The restaurant is very cozy and fits in wonderfully with the old building charm of the surrounding area. Because of the weather, we opted for a table inside (the outdoor area with the terrace also made a very good impression on us). The service was very friendly and accommodating and we also really liked the selection of dishes (Swabian cuisine). I was very impressed with my Leberkäs with two fried eggs. Before that there was a flädlesupp - very tasty! The place must be very popular in the neighborhood: we were there on a Monday afternoon and the tables were well occupied. We were lucky to get a spot; In the evening most places are reserved. But rightly so: you just feel very comfortable here. We were definitely not here for the last time.

The Maultaschen and the Swabian potato salad are delicious, the service is attentive and friendly. The apple fritters were also delicious, even if I suspect they were a convenience product (understandable). But the Maultaschen and the (homemade) potato salad were great and I will definitely stop by again.

I've known the restaurant for a long time and enjoy going there again and again because you get what, unfortunately, is only available in a few restaurants in Berlin: lentils with spaetzle. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but it's super tasty! Definitely try it!

The Glühwurm restaurant is the best thing that happened to us. My husband and I have our 10th wedding anniversary today and wanted to treat ourselves to something really good. So the search began. I am a true Berliner and my husband is a true Swabian. Then we found the glowworm in Friedenau. So from Spandau to Friedenau. Congratulations, that was right. The food, the service and the ambience are super great. We give the three categories 10 stars because 5 stars are not enough. Now we often go to Friedenau to eat. Glühwurm the 2nd time Today on September 7th, 2024 we were here for the second time, with the whole family, 11 people. It was a birthday celebration for my husband and I. Our guests were thrilled and so were we two. The service and the kitchen were great again. The waitresses were really busy, the whole beer garden was full and we were there too. We didn't have to wait long and it felt like we were there alone. My respect for this achievement. We have to give 10 stars instead of 5 stars for each category. Now it is our regular restaurant and we will recommend it to others. Kind regards from Spandau and Nauen.❤️❤️

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with you today, everything was top-notch. Fast service with a friendly attitude, loving and very accommodating. We really liked it. We'll definitely be back. I had the fillet droplets, the salad was also top quality and then the dessert was hot wild berries with vanilla ice cream Poem price performance everything is fine Oswald and Frank Schlegel and were there again on September 7th, 24 with the whole family for both of our birthdays, there were 11 people and everything was very tasty and the service was great and everything was really delicious, you all said so and our waitresses were simply very friendly, we felt at home, thanks to everyone from Team Ossi and Frank and family

Since we were just in Stuttgart, I can confirm that the prices are already at Swabian levels. However, the food was really warm and not just lukewarm and I was also much more impressed with the taste.

Last Monday I was here in the garden for lunch. I found the restaurant online because I like to eat Swabian cuisine. I thought the Swabian spritzer was great, refreshing and delicious. The classic cheese spaetzle tasted good, was really plentiful and tasty. There was also a small side salad, which unfortunately lacked a bit of dressing. But he was still ok. The service was good, perhaps could have been a little more attentive, but that's difficult when you're all alone. I found the atmosphere beautiful, not too stylish, just cozy. The prices are really pleasant and there are also lunch menus. I would be happy to come back.

I've been sitting here for 75 minutes waiting for food, already drinking my second beer even though I only wanted to drink one. An impudence! When I asked where the food was, I received a rude “not coming..”, which was supposed to be funny, but I don’t think so at all!!

Disappointing experience with poor service and unwashed salad. We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The lettuce wasn't washed properly and we could feel the sand in our teeth. Although the rest of the food was just okay, it was very expensive for what it is. We asked to swap one ingredient for another in the same price range and they still charged us extra even after we complained about the sandy salad. The service was pretty poor, with a generally bad vibe from the staff. Overall the experience was not worth the over €60 for three people. We certainly won't be returning.

First I was there with a friend and enjoyed the sun and the delicious food in the garden. I thought it was so great that I went there again with my family the next day. P.S. You shouldn't miss a dessert there.

Ho cenato in questo ristorante con un amico il 24 febbraio 2024. Il locale è molto accogliente e la proprietaria è gentilissima e cordiale. E' un ristorante tipico berlinese, i piatti sono buonissimi ed anche abbondanti. E' fuori dalle zone più affollate ed è situato in una zona residenziale molto bella ed elegante. Consigliatissimo.

Quaint little room with local cuisine in the neighborhood. The food is very tasty and handmade, the service is very friendly. You didn't have to wait long and everything was on the table in no time.

The meat wasn't necessarily the best quality. The spaetzle was very tasty, as was the dessert. The service staff was very loving and fulfilled all wishes. The furnishings were typical neighborhood. We liked it. The outside area looked very littered.

I told the waitress that I eat gluten-free, asked if my choice was ok, which she signed and in retrospect there was probably something in the sauce. Please do better with the menu and the operation

Ordered hand-scraped cheese pätzle with ruccola and tomato chili salsa for € 12.50. The size of the portion or plate was more like a small appetizer or starter. The extremely bland tasting spaetzle had no trace of cheese. The taste of the sauce was reminiscent of tomato soup and, thanks to the ready-made chili sauce, it had at least a hint of spiciness. The whole thing was then garnished with a little bit of ruccola and that was it. Thank you for nothing and never again.

On Friday we went to our favorite restaurant, Glühwurm, again. For years you have been able to enjoy delicious and rich genuine Swabian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The glowworm is already an institution in Friedenau. Unfortunately, our "glowworm ritual" was severely disrupted that evening by 3 young people who stood out because of their loud, uncouth and threatening behavior. Thanks to the confident waitress who, despite the full restaurant, mastered the situation with flying colors and good nerves and expelled these 3 (rather arrogant and short-tempered) people to the rest of the restaurant's guests. We are already looking forward to the next visit. Keep it up!

I have been a regular customer for 7 years and have always gotten along well with the staff. Last night the restaurant was full and the wait staff was hopelessly overwhelmed and was very passive aggressive from the start because she obviously didn't want any more customers. After we sat down at the bar 3 meters away from our original seat, she completely lost her nerve because the seat was supposedly reserved and a "change of seat" without her consent would be an absolute impudence. Overall very condescending tone. We then paid for the drinks and left. To top it all off, the cook, who was smoking outside, shouted “f*** off” after us as a farewell. I have never experienced anything like this in a restaurant before. Food is ok, but can also be better, depending on which staff shift there is a very tense and chaotic atmosphere. In my experience, the friendly and competent staff are unfortunately usually not there, or perhaps no longer employed at all, because waiters who do their job well don't need to work in such a restaurant and have now searched farther away. 2 years ago it was much better. Danger! Most of the reviews here are out of date.

As a long-time regular at the Glühwurm restaurant, I have eaten there weekly for many years and have repeatedly recommended it to friends and relatives. However, recently the quality of the food has become heavily dependent on the chef. In addition, the variety of side dishes has decreased significantly. What's disappointing, for example, is the lack of a great starter that used to come with every meal. My disappointment also extends to the declining quality of service, which creates an unfriendly atmosphere. Interaction with guests has become poor without going into details, which spoils the overall impression. It seems that both the service and kitchen staff are overworked. I'm really unhappy about the current situation and really hope for an improvement in the future, especially in dealing with guests. I wish the Glühwurm restaurant all the best.

Almost every dish tastes finer than in an average restaurant and is very tasty. Nice German atmosphere and friendly service. I mostly come here for the cheese spaetzle, but the desserts and soups are also very tasty. The Christmas speculoos tiramisu is particularly noteworthy here, which is why we returned the day before New Year's Eve. We very much hope that this will happen again in the new year.

Schwäbisches Restaurant in zentraler Lage von Berlin-Friedenau, typische schwäbische Speisekarte, dazu passend schwäbisches Bier und entsprechende Weine, Ambiente funktionell, sehr gut besucht, Reservierung empfiehlt sich, bei meinem letzten Besuch funktionerte der Service freundlich und angemessen schnell, obwohl nur eine Frau sowohl Theke als auch Bedienung abdeckte, allerdings waren die Speisen nur mäßig gewürzt und die Bratkartoffeln in Sauce aufgeweicht, angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Es war sehr schön im Glühwurm. Essen lecker, nette Bedienung und ein nettes Plätzchen zum verweilen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Restaurant, am besten vorher reservieren

Überraschend ausreichend große Portionen, bei sehr deftigen Essen. Durch Zufall entdeckt, sind wir als vierköpfige Familie und Liebhaber von Spätzle und Maultaschen gleich hinein gegangen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alle wurden wie pappsatt und die nette und professionelle Bedienung hat für eine gute Stimmung gesorgt. Das Essen kam -obwohl ängstlich angekündigt- zeitlich im Rahmen und war sehr schmackhaft. Gedankliche Abzüge gab es bei mir lediglich beim Ambiente... gerne mehr....schwäbischer (?)... und die Rechnung war viel höher, als wenn wir zu unserem lokalen Asiaten gehen. Außerdem gerne mehr "schwäbische" Gerichte auf der Karte, denn "Tomate/Mozzarella - Maultaschen".

Wir waren das zweite Mal dort, dieses Mal bei schlechtem Wetter drinnen. Es war wieder sehr stimmig, Essen... Service alles super. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Mohnschupfnudeln sind jede Sünde wert.

Richtiges Gasthaus, engagierter Service, schwäbische Küche, auch fleischlos. Sehr schöner Vorgarten.

Der einzige Tisch, der noch frei war, stand ein bisschen unglücklich im Raum. Wir hatten schon unsere Getränke und den Salat, da wurde uns trotzdem ein anderer freigewordener Tisch angeboten. Wir blieben aber sitzen und haben unser mega leckeres Essen genossen und auch der Preis ist völlig in Ordnung.

Tafelspitz mit Meerrettichsauce und Bratkartoffeln. Ist jetzt ja eher "auch schwäbisch". Aber eigentlich egal. Es hat saugut geschmeckt, die Wirtin war einfach nur nett (und, oh, seltsam!, berlinerte. Watt sonst.) Mir gefiel's. Komme wieder.

Urige schwäbisch angehauchte Kneipe mit typischen Speisen. Bringt Hunger mit, Portionen sind lecker und reichlich. Biergarten, drinnen begrenzt Plätze. Reservierung sinnvoll.

Ich hatte die klassischen Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat und Sauce, meine Tochter einen Kinderteller (Fischstäbchen). Es hat gut geschmeckt, nur war der Salat völlig verpfeffert, hier muss dem Koch der Streuer ausgerutscht sein. Der entsprechende Hinweis wurde vom Service eher beiläufig zur Kenntnis genommen. Überhaupt hat sich der Service eher durch Routine als durch besondere Freundlichkeit ausgezeichnet. Man wurde das Gefühl nicht los, dass es sehr um das Durchschleusen einer möglichst hohen Zahl vonn Esser*innen ging, Entsprechend "gemütlich" war die Atmosphäre. Allerdings muss an diesem Tag mit Reservierungen einiges schiefgelaufen sein und das offensichtlich einzige EC-Gerät (Deutschland im Jahr 2023 ...) war kaputt. Wir wollen es gern noch einmal versuchen und dann gern mehr Sterne vergeben.

Typisch Schwäbisch. Essen war sehr lecker. Wenn man Heimweh hat, würde ich Glühworm höchstens empfehlen. Ich habe den Schwäbischen Salat gegessen. Sie haben genau die richtige Menge an Kräutern und Zutaten verwendet, um mich an meine Zeit in Stuttgart zu erinnern. Der Service war schnell und das Personal war freundlich. Es waren ein paar Familien und Paare hier, um zu essen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen

Leckeres Essen, netter Service. Gut zum drinnen und draußen Sitzen. Man muss nur vorher wissen, ob das Kartenlesegerät funktioniert, ansonsten könnte es mit Bargeld knapp werden.

Ein Super Lokal, mit schönem Ambiente und sehr netter Bedienung. Bei schönem Wetter bietet sich der Aussenbereich an. Das Essen ist lecker, ich kann den Wurstsalat sehr empfehlen. Mit dem Auto parken ist Glückssache.

Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch eine, eigentlich hier unübliche, kleine Beschwerde über das servierte Fleisch wurde äußerst zufriedenstellend angenommen und reguliert. Ich war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Sehr guter Service. Der fehlende eine Stern ist der Tatsache geschuldet, dass im Sommer bei vollem Garten einfach mindestens eine Person als Bedienung fehlt. Meine Hochachtung gilt den Bedienungen, die wirklich alles geben, um einen guten Service zu bieten.

Ganz schlimmer laden ! Verfaultes Fleisch, lieblose Salate, grenzwertiger Service. Wenn das Gesundheitsamt kommt, ist der Laden auf Monate geschlossen ! Auf keinen Fall dort einkehren, oder man nimmt einen Arzt mit. In einem Wort zusammengefasst: Ekelhaft 🤮

Im Essen war Sand drin... Lecker war es. Eigentlich schade drum... Die Bedienung war zwar freundlich, aber irgendwie schusselig. Essen hat etwas gedauert und war auch nur lauwarm. Im Groben und Ganzen war es OK dort aber nochmal wird der Besuch wohl nix...

Ein wundervolles Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen mit Maultaschen, die mehr als gelungen sind. Hier stimmt alles. Es ist irgendwie vertraut, rustikal und im Sommer unter den Bäumen mit Lichterkette sitzen und Maultaschen und andere Gerichte genießen ist so schön. Das Team ist sehr herzlich und das Essen mit tollen Portionen und wirklich köstlich. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit nettem Biergarten, in dem man sehr gut essen kann und von freundlichem Personal bedient wird. Wir haben einen Zwiebelrostbraten und vegetarische Maultaschen gegessen, beides hat vorzüglich geschmeckt! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
