I had the pleasure of dining at Gio Restaurant and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The steak I ordered was excellently prepared and of the highest quality. The cocktail served with it was delicious and professionally mixed. In general, I particularly noticed the variety of drinks and the very competent bar! However, what really stood out was the excellent service. I particularly noticed a slightly smaller waiter because he was extremely attentive to my needs. The only negative thing I noticed was that I had to walk a short distance through the rain on the way to the location. Overall, my visit to Gio was excellent and I give it a deserved 5/5 stars. If you are looking for a great restaurant with excellent food and outstanding service, then Gio is definitely the right choice!

Very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the service. I ordered a spaghetti carbonara, which unfortunately I didn't like at all and therefore didn't eat. When a waitress came and asked if it was tasty, I honestly said it wasn't. She then said that she would pass it on to the kitchen. Nevertheless, I had to pay the full price of €19.90, which I find absolutely outrageous. My partner ordered a Burata pizza, which was very tasty. But we decided not to come back.

What is not too like? Dog friendly, beautiful terrace, very friendly staff and one of the best pizza's I've had. Gf had had pasta, big portion and tasty.

Food tasted very good. Unfortunately the drinks only came after the meal. Service inattentive and in need of improvement, but the two young assistants were very friendly and helpful. Definitely has potential thanks to the beautiful terrace and atmosphere, but for the next visit I would like to have a main waiter who has a better handle on his job.

It's really great to sit outside when the weather is nice. Me and my friends really enjoyed the food. The service was also great. We were asked several times in the evening if everything was OK and we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. I'll be happy to come back :)

Some of the food was very tasty (antipasti), the pizza and pasta were good, but nothing special. Service was weak that evening, but I suspect that is the exception. There are better places to eat pizza in Osnabrück, but the atmosphere here is very nice.

We were here with a larger group, it took quite a long time for the orders and also for the food to be served. Could also have been due to a very full restaurant. We mainly ordered pizza and pasta, but at Pizza Vegetaria there were no homemade vegetable chips on the pizza as the menu said, just Pringles chips placed vertically on the pizza which made it look strange and definitely not was more Italian. Overall, food and drinks (especially the mineral water) were too expensive for what we were offered that evening.

We came with the expectation of simply having a good Italian meal. We left with the excitement of being really good and super satisfied all around. Everything was right. The restaurant has an excellent, cozy and modern atmosphere, the food of everyone involved (there were 8 of us) was top quality and quantity. We'll see each other again (someday).

My colleague and I walked past the Gio Ristorante restaurant on May 19th at the end of our vacation (from Switzerland to Osnabrück). As far as I've seen, you have to make a reservation, otherwise there won't be any more space... But I think it's good. I can't say anything negative about this restaurant, the food, the drinks and the ambience. The look in the restaurant is simply top quality! 😊 The meat was so tender, not cooked too hard, just perfect!😋 The sweet potato fries were also super tasty😋. The herb butter was something of the finest, I've rarely eaten butter just like that without anything, but it was so delicious, you couldn't resist it😅. The house dessert was also super delicious😋. My colleague and I from Switzerland say thank you very much for the delicious food!😋 We definitely give this restaurant a 10/10!😋🙋💪 We will definitely recommend this restaurant!😊

!Prices WITHOUT VAT. +19%! The prices in the menu are all stated without VAT. That's why it was surprising that another 19% was added later. Great atmosphere with the fountain outside. The food is delicious, which is what you would expect for the high price. We'd love to go there again.

Ansonsten: Ambiente: Sehr gut Service : Sehr gut, aufmerksam Essen : Entspricht nicht unbedingt der Beschreibung auf der Karte. Black Tiger Garnelen werden zu harmlosen Kätzchen, Weißweinsoße zu Tomatensoße und Butter zu Pesto. Die Qualität erweist sich als mäßig. Nudeln zu weich, Fleisch einmal gut, einmal zum zweiten Mal getötet, ein Essen nur lauwarm. Die geäußerte Kritik wird etwas zu uneinsichtig zurückgewiesen, aber es gibt als Ausgleich ein kostenloses Dessert. Immerhin.

Had dinner there today and would immediately recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, cozy and the service is very friendly. The food was also great, just very well seasoned (salt), but that is of course a matter of taste. Thank you for a nice evening!!!

Äußerlich ist im Gio alles ganz nett und stylisch. Unser Essen war allerdings mäßig (die Pizza sieht gut aus, ist aber mehr oder weniger geschmacksneutral) und der Service war eine Katastrophe (sowohl vor der Bestellung als auch zum bezahlen haben wir jeweils mehr als 20 Min. auf eine der beiden Damen aus dem Service gewartet, um uns dann auf die Suche nach ihnen zu machen und schließlich auch tatsächlich eine Servicekraft im angeregten Gespräch mit dem Küchenpersonal aufzufinden).

Nice, stylish environment. The two service staff were generally friendly; But after they didn't appear at our table for at least 20 minutes at the beginning and at the end of our visit, I had to look for them throughout the restaurant so that we could even order or pay. The starter was okay, the main course (pizza) also looked delicious, but was more or less “tasteless”.

Absolutely great and relaxed location. The design has been thought through down to the last detail, very pleasant lighting design. Even expensive acoustic ceilings were valued 👍 Very friendly service, very tasty bowls, even the pizza dough for my Parma rocket was very digestible. The homemade lemonade was also extremely tasty and not overloaded with sugar, as is so often the case. In my opinion the best Italian restaurant in Osnabrück. In the meantime I have been able to enjoy the rump steak several times. Always cooked to perfection and a great composition on the plate. Top. Great overall concept in the Alando complex. Keep it up! We will be repeat offenders😀

I don't think the price/performance ratio is justified at all. Way too expensive for what you get. In addition, my food was totally over salted, I gave it back and I was still charged for it. The ambience is very nice. But wouldn't go there again.

Business lunch - Unfortunately it was very, very loud in the restaurant. The quality and service were good. During the week it ends at 10 p.m.!

Had dinner there on the night of the Superbowl. The ambience is very nice and the service was also nice. However, the prices are very high. I think a burger with some fries without a drink for almost 20 euros is a lot. The burger was neither particularly good nor bad. I think a pizza margarita for 12 euros and with salami for 18 euros is just too much. The ambience definitely beats the memory card and has to be paid for. ....not again.

Very, very nice location, toilets, tables, floors, everything clean, well-kept and very modern. Waiters ask several times; if everything is OK. Orders are taken very quickly and you don't have to wait long for your order. Waiters pay attention to when the starter is finished before serving the main course. Waiters are very friendly - food was really very good, my husband had a delicious pasta dish with salmon and cream sauce, which was very delicious, I had a pizza that was huge in size and tasted perfect. The price was absolutely fair for the location, and we didn't leave €60 for 2 large drinks, 2 main courses and a starter. The only negative point, which is only negative for you and speaks well for the house: you can't go there spontaneously to eat but have to make a reservation in advance because it is so popular there.

Wow, ein sehr schönes Restaurant! Gegen Mitte/Ende September einladend weihnachtlich geschmückt. Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe dort und es gab ein sehr leckeres Buffet für uns. Das Rindfleisch war mega zart und auf den Punkt gewürzt. Ich habe direkt noch eine Scheibe genommen. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Die Mädels waren drinnen von der feinen Toilette begeistert. Kann aber auch an dem guten Wein gelegen haben.

Sehr schöner Ort, wo man lecker essen gehen kann und die Atmosphäre genießen.

Sehr schönes interiör. Schlechte Bedienung essen ist mittelmäßig. Preise sind gut. Meine Gabel war dreckig.

Essen: sehr schön dekoriert, große Pizza, Pasta eher weniger. Also wenn man viel Hunger hat, dann lieber Pizza nehmen. Unsere Pizza war leider sehr ölig, was die Pizza sehr weich gemacht hat. Vom Geschmack war alles okay. Ich mag es, wenn in der Pasta mehr Sauce ist. War für mich zu trocken. Service: war freundlich und aufmerksam. Da merkt man den Preis 😅 Atmosphäre: sehr schön alles. Fazit: kann man mal machen, aber gibt besseres Essen für weniger Geld. Der Ort ist eher schicker. Was ich cool finde ist, dass wenn man freitags/samstags da ist, man umsonst ins alando kann. Dann lohnt sich der Besuch.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit wirklich gutem italienischen Essen und sehr kompetenter Bedienung. Die Location direkt am Wasser ist sehr einladend und im Sommer wirklich nett. Das Essen ist von guter Qualität und schmeckt sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist ebenfalls sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung.

Richtig leckere Pizza, toller Salat, schöne Location. Alles war frisch und die Qualität echt gut! Mit Gutschein auch noch echt günstig, werden aber auch ohne wiederkommen!

Gestern war ich zum 4. Mal dort essen. Jedes Mal hat es einfach toll geschmeckt und auch die Personen, die mit dabei waren, waren begeistert. Der Service war schnell, freundlich und unaufdringlich, obwohl alle Tische belegt waren und sehr viel zu tun war. Dieses Mal saßen wir im Innenbereich und auch hier empfanden wir es sehr angenehm. Wie gesagt, es war sehr voll und trotzdem konnte man sich unterhalten ohne sich anschreien zu m, wie es derzeit in vielen Lokalen leider der Fall ist. Also wirklich 5 Sterne plus. Der nächste Besuch ist auch schon geplant. Ach so, obwohl nicht auf der Karte, wurde nir auf Nachfrage eine liebevoll arrangierte Nachspeise serviert *****

Hier om 21 uur savonds nog even een drankje gedaan. Helaas was de keuken al dicht. Heerlijk terras, lekkere cocktails. Helaas duurde het qua bediening wel allemaal lang. De serveerster waren niet echt vlot en ervaren.

So wie immer. Eine Konstante in Service & Qualität.

Ambiente recht schön, leider hat es im Außenbereich stark nach „Toilette“ gerochen. Schlimmer waren jedoch leider das Essen und der Service. Steak nicht zu empfehlen, da es zweimal viel zu durch serviert wurde. Dazu kam obendrein noch ein schnippischer Kommentar der Kellnerin. Das geht so leider gar nicht, zumal wirklich höflich und freundlich auf diesen offensichtlichen Fehler der Küche hingewiesen wurde. Keine Einsicht. Auch wurden uns keine weiteren Getränke oder Desserts angeboten. Bei einem Restaurant dieser Kategorie erwartet man definitiv mehr. Erster und definitiv letzter Besuch. Schade.

Netter Service, leckeres Essen zu wirklich fairen Preisen und eine tolle Location. Vor allem bei gutem Wetter. Pflichtprogramm bei jedem Besuch in Osnabrück.

This place was totally bad. No good food and also missunderstanding informaation by sheff. I cant recommendate this place.

Perfect environment, great food, very nice service , the only drawback, while the restaurant was rather empty, they didn't give us the choice to choose between two or three tables, they placed us in a corner without a lot of light ! But I will not complain because, it was clean and well taken cared! So my advice, before you go, book a table by the window or on the terrace !! But for sure you should visit it.

Mezzomar Osnabrueck is the most beautiful restaurant in town. In addition, the food tastes very good and the service is super friendly! I can only recommend the restaurant.
