Super delicious food. We had to wait a bit longer because the place was very busy, but the wait was absolutely worth it! 🤤

We eat Vietnamese food very often and are familiar with the most common dishes and drinks. However, there were also dishes here that we'd never seen before – the combinations were truly unique – even the homemade drinks. The food tasted absolutely amazing, and we were truly shocked – in a (very!) good way! :) The service was also very good – super fast and very friendly! The restaurant has been decorated and designed with great attention to detail, which of course also contributes to a very pleasant atmosphere! It's a shame we don't live in Hamburg – we would come every week!! Hopefully, a branch will open in Berlin someday :-]

A very pleasant ambiance with pleasant lighting. A varied menu with a large selection of vegan dishes. Some dishes are even illustrated with photos. The noise level is unobtrusive, despite the busy restaurant. The staff is attentive, and the prices are fair.

Great food, all vegan, but not run-of-the-mill, with interesting combinations and flavors. A definite recommendation even for non-vegans!

Unfortunately, the staff has lost motivation and enthusiasm; their cell phones are more important than the guests, and the wrong things are on the bill. The food quality has declined, but the frying has increased. It's a shame. The decor is nice. I can't recommend it.

Very tasty and presentable food at very reasonable prices. All dishes are vegan. Great location and easy to reach. However, there is no parking available. Parking is available in the surrounding streets. You can sit inside or outside. If you found this review helpful, I'd appreciate a thumbs up.

The menu is very varied and the dishes are beautifully presented. The taste of the food is okay. The waitress worked in slow motion and took at least 10 minutes to take the drinks order, even though there was only one other table occupied by two people who had already had their food. But the food came quickly. The two men didn't talk to each other in the restaurant, they filled the whole place with music. The group of three women who came later also talked extremely loudly. No one was informed of this by the staff. The window sills, the toilets and the banisters were very dirty. Everything dusty, stained, crumbly and full of cobwebs. I hope the hygiene in the kitchen is better.

The food was nice and tasted okay, even if it wasn't anything too special. The portion could have been a little larger for my taste.

Ginya is an excellent Vietnamese restaurant that offers a very extensive menu of delicious dishes. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and has a welcoming atmosphere. The portions are okay and the prices are reasonable. The service is very attentive and friendly. We ordered to be picked up, and even though my tantan noodles were mixed up with the flat rice noodle soup, I didn't think it was that bad. The soup was very spicy and I really liked it. Our starters were great and the “Eat without limits” was very tasty. The restaurant definitely impressed us and we look forward to our next visit.

A fantastic vegan restaurant in the heart of Hamburg! There are now a lot of Asian-vegan shops and you can often find similar dishes! But here I was totally surprised by the unusual and well thought-out compositions of the dishes/starters! When my plate arrived I was amazed at how much variety there was on it! Delicious and with so much attention to detail. Experience a newly composed Asian experience with an explosive culinary delight! Wow! Even the drinks didn't skimp on ingenuity: passion fruit with jasmine tea - you can't imagine it, but it tastes delicious! Overall a 5/5 recommendation!

This place is fantastic to just unwind for a moment and enjoy delicious food in peace. In addition to the excellent food, what is particularly positive is that the music is extremely subtle and the calm atmosphere is supportive! The drinks (tea etc.) are freshly prepared and delicious! The food leaves nothing to be desired.

We discovered the restaurant by chance and have already visited several with a similar concept. The quality of the food was very good, the selection was very varied. The main courses were very inexpensive, the starters were rather expensive in comparison, but really well seasoned. We'd love to come back.

Very, very tasty food. As a non-vegan, I am still very impressed by how little animal products I missed. The prices were also fair and the location was also great. The food came really quickly for a Friday evening. We'll be back!

Great restaurant! Price-performance ratio is right. When we were there it was relatively full and it took a long time until we got something. I don't know whether this is normal or just a result of the day.

The restaurant is super cozy and aesthetically decorated and offers a very nice atmosphere. The range of exclusively vegan dishes is very wide (bowls, ramen, soups, fried foods, sushi, etc.). The price-performance ratio is great, the portions are totally sufficient. Both starters and main courses are super tasty and the staff is really nice. The food came very quickly. I can 100% recommend the restaurant, especially for vegans and vegetarians, but also for everyone else!!

The food was delicious, the service was extremely friendly, although some of the food consisted of things that weren't on the menu (example: the starter with fried avocados included fried pineapple), which would be extremely difficult for someone with a pineapple allergy unfavorable. Tastefully decorated restaurant with great service. As someone who is neither vegetarian nor vegan, I may be a little more critical than others when it comes to vegan dishes, but the food was mostly very good. Only the fried tofu in my bowl didn't convince me at all, hard and sticky on the outside, mushy on the inside. A rather unpleasant mouthfeel.

Wow, that was delicious! I would love to eat at Ginya again tomorrow. There were five of us and we were all absolutely thrilled by the variety, taste and presentation of the dishes. We all intentionally chose different starters, main courses and desserts and everyone was allowed to try each other's. Everything tasted great. The service was very friendly and caring. Asian cuisine in vegan! Up to the oat milk in the coffee. Simply ask and order, preferably with several and exchange them. The pictures help a little with understanding. I've never eaten anything here that wasn't tasty.

Spent 20 euros for 1 dish and 1 starter. The portions were ridiculously small and consisted mostly of water with spices! I didn't even come close to being full for the money. That was the first and last time! There are better and cheaper restaurants!

Super tasty dishes, great presentation (dishes and food), good value for money. Absolutely recommended. The service wasn't quite as present as there was a lot going on and the two of them could hardly keep up. Still friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the lovely evening

Our friends ordered a lot of appetizers for us. Unfortunately we have to say that no one enjoyed it and the presentation was very poor. What particularly caught my attention was the tempura. In the case of the “vegetable mix” there were only mushrooms and sweet potatoes and also number 9, where the vegan chicken was mealy and completely unprocessed, which meant that it was inedible. Sushi was okay, but peanut sauce and rocula were missing

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered many vegan starters from Ginya for our guests and unfortunately no one liked them. Unfortunately, we also had to throw away a lot of things because they were inedible and no one was able to take them with them or want to eat them. What a shame! The presentation and packaging was unfortunately unfavorable and the quality really leaves a lot to be desired. I can't rate the ambience and food in the store. Luckily we also ordered sushi, which was fresh and tasty, but wasn't enough. In addition, the sushi menu was also missing peanut sauce and one ingredient. But the supplier was very nice. Not again.

Was OK. The hoisin sauce is good. To be honest, the rest was a bit bland or too salty. It's nice that the menu is partly illustrated, but what's not so nice is that it doesn't look that nice in real life and there are still misunderstandings when ordering, even though we were the only guests.

Was there by chance...and OMG it was so so good. No lie, I haven't been this excited about a restaurant in years. The food was amazing and I would have loved to indulge in the teriyaki sauce. The prices are also absolutely top for Hamburg standards! I can only recommend it to everyone and can hardly wait to eat there again. 11/10 💝

I had the vagan sushi with Saitan. It was a dream. Full 5 stars with conviction. The fried crust and fantastic sauce are just a delight.

The service was quick but otherwise rather poor. The food came after a few minutes but no one came to see us after that... it's a shame, we would have liked to order something more to drink. In addition, the waitress cleared the plates while my friend was still eating. The food was ok, but nothing special.

-if you’re looking for a delicious vegan food this is the right place- the foods here are very sophisticated and delicious, snacks are a little bit small but the bowl portions are very satisfying. unfortunately the beer was not cold at all. that was the only downside. the place is quite, no loud music (which is great!). i can recommend this place to everyone.

Went to a vegan, Asian restaurant and ended up in culinary heaven. Absolutely great selection of vegan delicacies, fantastically prepared. Normally I only eat one main course, but here it had to be the whole program. Starter, main course, dessert. Plus a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail. Very friendly, courteous staff and short waiting times complete the picture. Ginya definitely sees me again!

Very lovingly decorated restaurant. Friendly staff and the volume is also pleasant for conversation. Wishes regarding food were very well taken into account. The avocado and pear starter was an absolute dream with the homemade raspberry dip. My absolute favourite. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of tofu but it was perfectly combined with the right spices. My partner and I are visiting Hamburg for the weekend and found this restaurant by chance. We had a starter and a main course and it was so incredibly tasty that we would both like to eat there again tomorrow. The food was fresh, perfectly balanced in terms of taste and absolutely sufficient in quantity. A very clear recommendation also for non-vegans/vegetarians.

First of all, I should say that I am not a vegetarian or vegan myself. We were here for lunch and had a mango salad first, a sushi roll as the main course and tea. Everything was freshly prepared, tasty and definitely something different. The fish was still missing from the menu and for me it is simply part of the sushi.
