Spent 20 euros for 1 dish and 1 starter. The portions were ridiculously small and consisted mostly of water with spices! I didn't even come close to being full for the money. That was the first and last time! There are better and cheaper restaurants!

Super tasty dishes, great presentation (dishes and food), good value for money. Absolutely recommended. The service wasn't quite as present as there was a lot going on and the two of them could hardly keep up. Still friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the lovely evening

Our friends ordered a lot of appetizers for us. Unfortunately we have to say that no one enjoyed it and the presentation was very poor. What particularly caught my attention was the tempura. In the case of the “vegetable mix” there were only mushrooms and sweet potatoes and also number 9, where the vegan chicken was mealy and completely unprocessed, which meant that it was inedible. Sushi was okay, but peanut sauce and rocula were missing

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered many vegan starters from Ginya for our guests and unfortunately no one liked them. Unfortunately, we also had to throw away a lot of things because they were inedible and no one was able to take them with them or want to eat them. What a shame! The presentation and packaging was unfortunately unfavorable and the quality really leaves a lot to be desired. I can't rate the ambience and food in the store. Luckily we also ordered sushi, which was fresh and tasty, but wasn't enough. In addition, the sushi menu was also missing peanut sauce and one ingredient. But the supplier was very nice. Not again.

Was OK. The hoisin sauce is good. To be honest, the rest was a bit bland or too salty. It's nice that the menu is partly illustrated, but what's not so nice is that it doesn't look that nice in real life and there are still misunderstandings when ordering, even though we were the only guests.

Was there by chance...and OMG it was so so good. No lie, I haven't been this excited about a restaurant in years. The food was amazing and I would have loved to indulge in the teriyaki sauce. The prices are also absolutely top for Hamburg standards! I can only recommend it to everyone and can hardly wait to eat there again. 11/10 💝

I had the vagan sushi with Saitan. It was a dream. Full 5 stars with conviction. The fried crust and fantastic sauce are just a delight.

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food and delicious cocktails. Even my husband, who is otherwise a carnivore, eats here in vegan heaven. We would love to come back on our next visit to Hamburg :)

The service was quick but otherwise rather poor. The food came after a few minutes but no one came to see us after that... it's a shame, we would have liked to order something more to drink. In addition, the waitress cleared the plates while my friend was still eating. The food was ok, but nothing special.

Very tasty vegan Japanese cuisine. Some really interesting flavor combinations that were all very well composed. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and friendly staff.

It was a spontaneous decision to have something light to eat after the walk in the city park. Tea, two starters and dessert. Every dish was a pleasant surprise.

-if you’re looking for a delicious vegan food this is the right place- the foods here are very sophisticated and delicious, snacks are a little bit small but the bowl portions are very satisfying. unfortunately the beer was not cold at all. that was the only downside. the place is quite, no loud music (which is great!). i can recommend this place to everyone.

Went to a vegan, Asian restaurant and ended up in culinary heaven. Absolutely great selection of vegan delicacies, fantastically prepared. Normally I only eat one main course, but here it had to be the whole program. Starter, main course, dessert. Plus a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail. Very friendly, courteous staff and short waiting times complete the picture. Ginya definitely sees me again!

It was my first visit to Ginya and I was immediately convinced. The food was excellent, the service was very nice and helpful. The prices are very fair and the wine is super delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Mega tasty, exciting compositions! There are some things on the menu that I have never seen anywhere before. The music is pleasantly quiet, so you can have a good conversation. The service is friendly and accommodating. I will gladly come again :)

Very lovingly decorated restaurant. Friendly staff and the volume is also pleasant for conversation. Wishes regarding food were very well taken into account. The avocado and pear starter was an absolute dream with the homemade raspberry dip. My absolute favourite. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of tofu but it was perfectly combined with the right spices. We will be back definitely.

My partner and I are visiting Hamburg for the weekend and found this restaurant by chance. We had a starter and a main course and it was so incredibly tasty that we would both like to eat there again tomorrow. The food was fresh, perfectly balanced in terms of taste and absolutely sufficient in quantity. A very clear recommendation also for non-vegans/vegetarians.

Food came very quickly and the starters tasted very good. Unfortunately the sparkling water is tap water with soda stream... The soup with frame noodles for the main course was unfortunately a bit bland. The sushi, on the other hand, was very good. Gladly again

First of all, I should say that I am not a vegetarian or vegan myself. We were here for lunch and had a mango salad first, a sushi roll as the main course and tea. Everything was freshly prepared, tasty and definitely something different. The fish was still missing from the menu and for me it is simply part of the sushi.

Wir waren mit zu viert abends dort und alle begeistert. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Cocktails und Tees, asiatischen Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichten und Sushi, lecker und liebevoll zubereitet.

Sehr leckeres Essen mit einer großen Auswahl an veganen asiatischen Gerichten. Die Portionsgrößen sind für den Preis relativ klein.

Super Lokal mit toller Bedienung

Habe das Restaurant schon immer auf dem Weg zur Arbeit gesehen. Neulich haben wir sehr kurzentschlossen einen Platz reserviert. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Der Service sehr zuvorkommend und nicht aufdringlich. Die Vorspeisen, die Hauptgerichte und der Nachtisch waren alle samt ausgesprochen köstlich.

Ginya macht süchtig ! Wir sind keine Vegetarier und auch keine Veganer ABER : Unser erster Besuch erfolgte mit einer größeren Gruppe. Nach kurzer Zeit waren wir wieder da. Das Essen ist einfach Klasse, diese Aromen, die Zusammenstellung der Komponenten lassen keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben die Vorspeisen geteilt, danach nur zwei Hauptgerichte. Es war kein Problem, weitere Schälchen zu bekommen. Es ist auch kein Problem, nur die Vorspeisen zu bestellen. Alle Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft und auch die Augen kamen nicht zu kurz. Das Ambiente ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und der Service sehr aufmerksam. Rundum eine große Bereicherung für unsere Gegend.

Whereas many Asian restaurants don’t seem to put much effort in their vegan dishes, this place has figured it out. All dishes I have tried were very tasty with fresh vegetables and creative seitan options, such as shrimps. I also liked the iced tea which was not as sweet as in many other places.

Sehr leckeres Essen, auch als Nicht-Veganer findet man hier tolle Gerichte. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen kam zügig, auch Einzelrechnungen für 8 Personen waren kein Problem (ist ja nicht immer so). Komme gerne wieder!

Great food super service - highly recommend

Eine sehr schöne Auswahl an Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichten, abwechslungsreich und auch ungewöhnliche Ideen. Geschmacklich sehr gut, auch für Nicht-Veganer wie mich. Ich komme bestimmt wieder.

Tolles Restaurant, hervorragendes Essen und nettes Personal.

Seit dem Umbau sieht das Restaurant phantastisch aus. Bei gutem Wetter macht es Sinn draußen zu sitzen. Es gibt nur wenig Straßenverkehr. Aber im Innenbereich erlebt man erst die großartige Gestaltung und Atmosphäre des Restaurants. Es ist sehr bedauerlich, dass kein Fisch mehr angeboten wird, aber das Essen ist trotzdem exzellent.

Essen war wirklich gut. Portionen etwas klein. Service war insgesamt freundlich aber sehr langsam, obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll besetzt war.
