Germar's Best Burger in Schwabmünchen

Da meine ursprüngliche Google-Review zusammen mit allen anderen "schlechten" Reviews gelöscht wurde. Habe ich mich entschieden das Ganze nochmal hier zu Posten, wo Meinungsfreiheit noch akzeptiert wird. Kann mich auch anschließen, dass niemand von meinen Kollegen mehr diese Lokalität betritt, hier wird der Kunde VERARSCHT!! Anbei noch meine von damals 3 Sterne Review. "Es scheint mir fast, als seinen die Glanztage dieser Lokalität gegessen. Früher war ich gern hier, das Establishment und der Service sowie das Essen waren fünf Sterne wert. Heute sieht das anders aus. Am Establishment hat sich nichts getan, noch immer strahlt ein nettes, warmes Blockhütten feeling durch das ulkig eingerichtete Lokal. Die Bedingungen sind heute jedoch unterbesetzt, weshalb leichte überforderungs Erscheinungen aufkommen und die ein oder andere Essens bzw Beilagensverwechslung zustande kommt. Hier wurde schlecht rationalisiert. Nun geht's ans Essen. Die Snacks sowie Beilagen sind klasse, aber darum geht es ja eigentlich nicht wenn man essen geht. Mein größter Kritikpunkt widmet sich den Burgerpatties, diese sind einfach fertig Patties die ich genau so bei Metro kaufen könnte, nichts besonderes nur Massenware. Da ein Bürger meiner Meinung nach aus Rinder bzw Gemischten Hack sein sollte (am besten Handgeformt) und der Aufwand hierfür nicht all zu groß ist, bin ich schwerst enttäuscht von der Konsistenz, Geschmack und Optik der Patties. Wenn man sich auf Bürger spezialisiert hat und dann auf fertig Petties zurück greift, hat man meiner Meinung nach den Leitfaden eines authentischen und einmaligen Bürgerladens verloren. Zudem bin ich schwerst enttäuscht über den 'Käsespätzle Burger'. Wenn ein Ekelpattie auf alte Käsespätzle trifft kann man sich denken was dabei für ein Genusserlebins in einem aufkommt. Mein Fazit: Früher war es definitiv besser als heute man hat wohl oder übel an den falschen Ecken angefangen zu sparen und es wäre dringend an der Zeit, sich von den fertig Patties zu distanzieren und an vollen Abenden eine Servicekraft mehr einzusetzen. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich jemals wieder diese Lokalität betreten werde, da mein letzter Besuch doch mehr einer starken Enttäuschung galt, als einem schönen Abendessen mit meinem Team."

Leider lässt das Germars inzwischen Bewertungen löschen, darum sind Bewertungen unter 4 Sternen in Google kaum mehr im Ranking enthalten, der mögliche Kunde wird hier also aus unserer Sicht getäuscht. Hier unsere Kritik erneut: Wir haben als eine Gruppe, die über viele Jahre regelmäßig zum Germars gekommen ist, den Verfall der Qualität deutlich mitbekommen - zum Ende unserer Besuche hin (knapp nach Corona) waren die Burger allenfalls noch im Durchschnitt, die Patties sind geschmacklich langweilig und wirken wie zu fein gewolfte Tiefkühlpatties, die Zusammenstellung ist lieblos, Brot und Soucen sind relativ belanglos. Die Burger waren natürlich genießbar, aber von "Best Burger" weit entfernt. Der Kidsburger allerdings ließ sich für uns qualitativ fast nicht vom Niveau der zwei bekanntesten Fastfoodketten unterscheiden. Der Service hingegen war absolute Spitze. Die Tatsache, dass Bewertungen gelöscht werden und auch nicht mehr vom gleichen Account neu erstellt werden können, wirft außerdem nicht nur ein schlechtes Licht auf das Restaurant, sondern auch auf die bekannteste Suchmaschine der Welt.

For our birthday we decided to visit this restaurant based on previous experiences. The service was friendly and the food came quickly - too quickly: Unfortunately, the quality and taste have gone downhill here. Had a salad with chicken strips: the salad was clearly from a bag - dried out at the cut edges, the meat and drinks were OK. The burgers were rated "so-so" by the birthday guests. In this respect, the quality and taste were by no means in line with the price. The staff were very active, took care of us throughout and were refreshingly honest when asked whether the food was good: "there are other places where you can eat much better". That's how you can sum up this review...

Great place and good atmosphere

Everything delicious. Just one point of criticism: if I had such a cool burger joint, I would mince the patties fresh. You can tell that they were frozen there by the consistency.

Super cozy restaurant and simply delicious. Creative burgers without being “too much”. We were disappointed with the milkshakes, but that's just a matter of taste. The burgers 1A and coleslaw were perfect and we were really impressed by how much of the stuff in the shop was actually homemade. We'll be back.

I was there for the first time. A bit noisy inside, but there was a lot going on (Saturday evening). Otherwise the food was great, service too. Will definitely go back.

Ate very tasty, my onion roast was a pleasure 😋, plus attentive, friendly service from a young man. My friends also praise their Kässpatzen and the hamburger with delicious fries and salad.

Ich muss mich einigen Rezensenten hier anschliessen - ich hatte vor einer Weile bei Google eine ausgewogene und WAHRHEITSGEMÄßE Bewertung mit 3 Sternen abgegeben - und "Germar's Best Burger" lässt diese per Verleumdungsklage entfernen - das kann ja wohl echt nicht angehen und macht den Laden derart unsympathisch, dass ich und jeder den ich kenne da sicher keinen Fuß mehr rein setzen wird! Wenn der Betrieb eine gute Bewertungsbilanz möchte, dann sollte er das Essen einfach mal heiss und nicht halb tiefgefroren servieren, dann kommt der gute Schnitt ganz von alleine und nicht erst durch Klagen.

Very nice people, even on Monday there is a lot going on in the evening. My tip, if you are more people, definitely make a reservation. The food came quickly and was very good. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but you should definitely go there. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking spaces in front of the door.

Trotz Einhaltung der Richtlinien, lässt das Lokal Bewertungen unter vier Sterne gnadenlos löschen. Ein Lokal, dass sich somit nicht etwaiger Kritik stellt, sondern schlimmer noch, damit eine nicht korrekte Bewertung von sich abbildet. Somit geben wir nicht wie ursprünglich 3 Sterne sondern verdient nur einen Stern - denn das geht leider gar nicht!!! Unsere Bewertung zum Essen: Mittelmäßig zu überteuerten Preisen Service: sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht

Stimmt, unsere 1 Sterne Bewertungen wurden auch gelöscht, denn alle kritischen Kommentare werden sofort von Google entfernt. Dadurch kann man leider nicht erkennen das der Laden überteuert und das Essen dafür richtig schlecht ist. Scam!

That was delicious. I'm not the typical burger eater, but I'll come back here. I had the chili cheese burger with crispy fresh fries and coleslaw. The service was friendly and accommodating, we had to call to reorder. The ambience is spacious and modern, but doesn't necessarily correspond to a burger house. The burger selection is nice and big.

Super tasty here and really original!

I'm really sorry, but unfortunately we didn't like the new meat. Meat like rubber and in our opinion too much. The burgers were perfect and we loved them. But now the whole thing only tastes like meat, ok for people who want so much on it, but should be offered the option of switching to a smaller version or the old version. Unfortunately, prices are also extremely high. I now pay more for my family here than at an Italian restaurant or a Bavarian restaurant.

And this time we were very satisfied too: food was great, service was very good, ambience was always nice. So gladly 5 stars again!

Mega burger, great service and a great location

I had a very good burger there few weeks ago.

Nicely decorated in a US-American atmosphere and the food was quite good, large portions. Just a little expensive.

Simply incredibly good, have been there twice now. Burgers are to die for. Prices completely justified. Desserts are a delight. Extremely attentive waiters, just before the drink is empty you are politely asked for a refill. The delicious cappuccino could contain a little less foam and more liquid :-) Sorry to all dog owners, but wet dogs have no place in the restaurant. If so, please go into the next room or something separate. We really lost some of our food because of the smell of 3 WET dogs at the next table!!! See you soon

I was really excited! The burger was outstanding – juicy meat, fresh ingredients and a perfectly toasted bun. Every bite was a pleasure and you can tell that the emphasis here is on quality and taste. The portion was also more than sufficient and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. If you're looking for a really good burger, you've come to the right place. I'll definitely be back!

Seriously? The portion sizes in the menu are worse than when purchased individually - a questionable strategy. For €20 you get inferior quality: frozen patty, the taste of which is strongly reminiscent of mechanically separated meat. Totally overpriced and disappointing. Too bad, won't come back. P.S. Staff was great :)

Great food at a reasonable price. You can feel the quality both in the food and in the price.

Were there for the first time today... here's a little summary Ambiance 5*: great.. there's nothing to complain about Service (actually 6) 5 * .. absolutely world class .. friendly from the first to the last second, always a smile and despite the full hut there is always time for nice small talk between orders .. including recommendations... you really can't do better .. rarely receive such top service.. For dinner there were spare ribs, chicken fillet and honey-chicken burgers.. for dessert Belgian waffles and the chocolate cake with liquid guy including ice cream.. Let's start with the dessert... both absolutely great 👍 According to the eater, the chicken fillet was also very good... just like the burger... But .. unfortunately the spare ribs weren't a hit .. meat was really good in terms of cooking point .. but .. almost no sauce .. you don't have to drown it .. but there really wasn't enough .. what little there was on it was dried out in no time due to the temperature.. so the ribs became dry relatively quickly and tasted bland.. actually a shame because everything else was fine. Final conclusion: .. all in all a very good address for burgers etc. The only thing that prevents a top rating is the spare ribs, which are a bit too dry. I've had much better ones in terms of taste But... we'll definitely come back again 🤗

My new favorite store! Mega selection of burgers and super tasty. Every hungry stomach will be satisfied here. The portions are also very commendable. You can even order a Burger Tower if you want. I took a burger from the menu (with coleslaw). At first I was briefly disappointed because my Curly Fries portion looked smaller than the others. But don't worry: it was an optical illusion. :)

People simply enjoy going here. The place was full yesterday and yet drinks arrived in 5 minutes and food in 10 minutes for all 15 people in our group. Staff super friendly and on the ball. Food is very tasty and you'll be full. Prices are okay for that. Great ambience, modern and cozy! Toilets clean. What more could you want?! Congratulations on this great restaurant and keep it up!👌

Unfortunately it has worn off. We had to go twice because a burger was missing. It can happen, but of course it was still annoying. Burgers were good, even the size. Unfortunately the forgotten burger was very soggy by the time it got home. The baked potato with salad cost too much, considering that this potato was very small. There was definitely some slack there. I also found it very difficult to deliver a salad with dressing in a box. And I would have expected the mozzarella sticks to have a liquid core. Very firm and almost gritty. Still tasted good. So unfortunately not so good this time. We'll try again at some point.

Started strong, faded even more. I used to love meeting friends or colleagues here for dinner. However, the initial euphoria has now faded. The prices are getting higher and higher, the quality is getting worse - recently it was so expensive and bad that that was it for me. It's a shame, it used to be so promising!

It wasn't a mistake to just drive 40 km. Great food, great service and a great concept behind the restaurant. Someone thought about it. Will definitely come back.

We ordered food to pick up and now I have to say the prices are simply no longer justified. The burger price is probably not much higher or lower than the average price in the area, but if you upgrade to a menu, you'll unfortunately pay another 50% extra for soggy fries and a mini portion of coleslaw. The fact that you can count the fries on one hand is one thing, but the fact that they are so cold and soggy is unfortunately another. Apart from McDonald's, there aren't too many options for burgers in the surrounding area, but in the future I'll save my wallet and not go out to eat at Germars or pick it up, unfortunately it's not worth it.

Great location with a great atmosphere for eating burgers, spare ribs and the like. The furnishings have a nice balance between modern and still rustic. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. There is a soccer field right next door. On match days it can get quite crowded, but there is also a very good atmosphere and entertainment.

Very good food and fast attentive service

My first visit to this restaurant, after previous recommendation. Our children had chicken nuggets. 20 pieces for €20. From the outside it looks like frozen food prepared in the deep fryer. Available at MD for €6!! Price-performance ratio for the nuggets: underground!! For this price you can ask for freshly prepared goods yourself, right? The burger I ordered was ok, but nothing more. The extra charge for the menu is a disgrace: €6.30 more for a handful of fries - they were on average 3 - 4 cm long (i.e. inferior commercial class) and a bit of coleslaw from the bucket -> a disgrace to charge a total of €19 for that! ! Conclusion: If I want to eat good burgers, then I go to Bird's Diner in Türkheim. I don't pay €15 for my burger menu there, the burger is bigger, there are fries and coleslaw and there's even a small salad. That's why there is no second visit!!

In short, the food is good but definitely not worth the money. If you order a burger for €20 without any side dishes (!) and then leave the restaurant hungry, you have to be surprised... We were 4 adults and 3 children, paid almost 170 €, but no one was really full at the end :( Too bad

I recently had to watch an employee (I don't want to use the name publicly) calmly drowning a bee in a leftover drink, which unfortunately spoiled my appetite and gave me a bad impression. Otherwise we were always happy to come by, the food is also good but unfortunately that was it for now...

Burgers are super nice as always. However, for the first time we were on the terrace while the football field was playing at the same time. We were really looking forward to the nice view and the conversation while eating. Unfortunately, before kick-off, something happened right in front of us. Not only was it unsightly, but the heat built up underneath it. This review has been deleted several times for no reason, which would unfortunately make criticism unnecessary.

Very cozy, large club restaurant. Friendly and attentive service, attractive menu and very tasty burgers. Special requests are responded to in a friendly manner and implemented correctly. The toilets are very clean. There is also enough soap and paper towels available. Prices are very fair at lunch, a bit high outside of the lunch menu, but the good, juicy food is worth it. Will definitely go back soon.

PROBLEM: the food here is just mediocre. I might as well go to an American fast food restaurant. BUT: The service and ambience are very good, so I could even put up with the store. BUT: Unfortunately, the prices are so high that - given the mediocre quality - I simply feel treated unfairly. For me, yesterday was the last attempt to warm up to the restaurant.

We've eaten there several times and it's always been very good. Even if it's full you don't have to wait too long. It's clear that it will take a little longer, but it's always okay. Burgers are really delicious, there's nothing wrong with the food and service! Unfortunately the acoustics in the room are not that good. It is very loud, there is nothing to absorb sound.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined massively over the last few years - FAR from Best Burgers. Therefore only three stars because the burgers are just average.

I'm really disappointed by the salad. For that little bit of salad about €11, never again. This urgently needs to be reworked.

Once and never again. Tik tok hype not understandable. Had a sex on the beach for this price I would have expected more 0.0% alcohol...and only tasted like Gernadine syrup. Price performance for burgers really bad. Had a double chesseburger with coleslaw...the patties were factory-made from the metro where you can get the 50 patty sack for 10 euros. There was no cheese to be found. With the “super spicy” burger it was just factory patties and siracha sose...the coleslaw was really remote and tasted really remote, i.e. not eaten..ridiculous to charge so much money for such rubbish.

Alles soweit ok. Meine kleine Tochter hat versehentlich ein volles Glas Schorle umgeworfen. Hab eins nachbestellt. Wurden beide voll abgerechnet. Finde das geht nicht. So schnell kommen wir nicht mehr. Schade
