Germar's Best Burger in Schwabmünchen

Unfortunately it has worn off. We had to go twice because a burger was missing. It can happen, but of course it was still annoying. Burgers were good, even the size. Unfortunately the forgotten burger was very soggy by the time it got home. The baked potato with salad cost too much, considering that this potato was very small. There was definitely some slack there. I also found it very difficult to deliver a salad with dressing in a box. And I would have expected the mozzarella sticks to have a liquid core. Very firm and almost gritty. Still tasted good. So unfortunately not so good this time. We'll try again at some point.

People simply enjoy going here. The place was full yesterday and yet drinks arrived in 5 minutes and food in 10 minutes for all 15 people in our group. Staff super friendly and on the ball. Food is very tasty and you'll be full. Prices are okay for that. Great ambience, modern and cozy! Toilets clean. What more could you want?! Congratulations on this great restaurant and keep it up!👌

Started strong, faded even more. I used to love meeting friends or colleagues here for dinner. However, the initial euphoria has now faded. The prices are getting higher and higher, the quality is getting worse - recently it was so expensive and bad that that was it for me. It's a shame, it used to be so promising!

It wasn't a mistake to just drive 40 km. Great food, great service and a great concept behind the restaurant. Someone thought about it. Will definitely come back.

Highly praised by colleagues, I call it “OK”. It tasted good, but it wasn't cheap in terms of price, nor were the portions generous.

We ordered food to pick up and now I have to say the prices are simply no longer justified. The burger price is probably not much higher or lower than the average price in the area, but if you upgrade to a menu, you'll unfortunately pay another 50% extra for soggy fries and a mini portion of coleslaw. The fact that you can count the fries on one hand is one thing, but the fact that they are so cold and soggy is unfortunately another. Apart from McDonald's, there aren't too many options for burgers in the surrounding area, but in the future I'll save my wallet and not go out to eat at Germars or pick it up, unfortunately it's not worth it.

Great location with a great atmosphere for eating burgers, spare ribs and the like. The furnishings have a nice balance between modern and still rustic. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. There is a soccer field right next door. On match days it can get quite crowded, but there is also a very good atmosphere and entertainment.

My first visit to this restaurant, after previous recommendation. Our children had chicken nuggets. 20 pieces for €20. From the outside it looks like frozen food prepared in the deep fryer. Available at MD for €6!! Price-performance ratio for the nuggets: underground!! For this price you can ask for freshly prepared goods yourself, right? The burger I ordered was ok, but nothing more. The extra charge for the menu is a disgrace: €6.30 more for a handful of fries - they were on average 3 - 4 cm long (i.e. inferior commercial class) and a bit of coleslaw from the bucket -> a disgrace to charge a total of €19 for that! ! Conclusion: If I want to eat good burgers, then I go to Bird's Diner in Türkheim. I don't pay €15 for my burger menu there, the burger is bigger, there are fries and coleslaw and there's even a small salad. That's why there is no second visit!!

In short, the food is good but definitely not worth the money. If you order a burger for €20 without any side dishes (!) and then leave the restaurant hungry, you have to be surprised... We were 4 adults and 3 children, paid almost 170 €, but no one was really full at the end :( Too bad

I recently had to watch an employee (I don't want to use the name publicly) calmly drowning a bee in a leftover drink, which unfortunately spoiled my appetite and gave me a bad impression. Otherwise we were always happy to come by, the food is also good but unfortunately that was it for now...

Very cozy, large club restaurant. Friendly and attentive service, attractive menu and very tasty burgers. Special requests are responded to in a friendly manner and implemented correctly. The toilets are very clean. There is also enough soap and paper towels available. Prices are very fair at lunch, a bit high outside of the lunch menu, but the good, juicy food is worth it. Will definitely go back soon.

Burgers are super nice as always. However, for the first time we were on the terrace while the football field was playing at the same time. We were really looking forward to the nice view and the conversation while eating. Unfortunately, before kick-off, something happened right in front of us. Not only was it unsightly, but the heat built up underneath it. This review has been deleted several times for no reason, which would unfortunately make criticism unnecessary.

PROBLEM: the food here is just mediocre. I might as well go to an American fast food restaurant. BUT: The service and ambience are very good, so I could even put up with the store. BUT: Unfortunately, the prices are so high that - given the mediocre quality - I simply feel treated unfairly. For me, yesterday was the last attempt to warm up to the restaurant.

We've eaten there several times and it's always been very good. Even if it's full you don't have to wait too long. It's clear that it will take a little longer, but it's always okay. Burgers are really delicious, there's nothing wrong with the food and service! Unfortunately the acoustics in the room are not that good. It is very loud, there is nothing to absorb sound.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined massively over the last few years - FAR from Best Burgers. Therefore only three stars because the burgers are just average.

A mega place, you can't tell from the outside. We were invited there yesterday and I'm still amazed by the atmosphere 😍 exactly my style. Lots of wood. I'm really disappointed by the salad. For that little bit of salad about €11, never again. This urgently needs to be reworked.

Once and never again. Tik tok hype not understandable. Had a sex on the beach for this price I would have expected more 0.0% alcohol...and only tasted like Gernadine syrup. Price performance for burgers really bad. Had a double chesseburger with coleslaw...the patties were factory-made from the metro where you can get the 50 patty sack for 10 euros. There was no cheese to be found. With the “super spicy” burger it was just factory patties and siracha sose...the coleslaw was really remote and tasted really remote, i.e. not eaten..ridiculous to charge so much money for such rubbish.

Alles soweit ok. Meine kleine Tochter hat versehentlich ein volles Glas Schorle umgeworfen. Hab eins nachbestellt. Wurden beide voll abgerechnet. Finde das geht nicht. So schnell kommen wir nicht mehr. Schade

After two visits, unfortunately only minced meat remains, but prices are quoted like steaks and you have to fry them well and make good sauces, etc. I miss the oomph and a little more spice. Then I was particularly disappointed by the mayo on the table, which didn't work at all. I thought it was at least homemade and the ketchup wasn't much better. I was there for the first time. Overall very mixed impression. Staff seemed to be overworked. Probably too weakly staffed. Guinness not properly tapped and 1.5 cm under calibration mark. Fries were lukewarm and initially not the ones that were ordered. Egg yolk from the fried egg in the New York Style Burger is well fried. The beef patties are very firm and without any structure. To the whiskeys. Lots of selection of good whiskeys at normal prices. I have been drinking and collecting whiskeys for 35 years. But charging 35€ for 2cl for supposed rarities (exclusive to Germar's) like the Glenfiddich IPA is a real disappointment. You can get this whiskey for €55-65.

The worst burgers I've ever eaten. Frozen goods, pressed/formed meat. I'm horrified for say and write pp 30 euros 1x drink 1x burger with fries, but you get pressed meat and bad frozen goods. And then don't even eat hot food. Save your money and eat well. But that's a disgrace, and when you complain you get an answer that leaves me stunned. Yes, we know that it is pressed meat because of the round shape we use it. Worst restaurant.

Large burger restaurant in Schwabmünchen at the football field. There are plenty of free parking spaces available. There is an indoor and outdoor area where you can relax comfortably for several hours. In addition to burgers, there are also salads, schnitzels, etc. The staff is very friendly. Reservations are advantageous as the restaurant is always busy. There are several vegetarian and vegan burgers. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. Quality and price are perfectly fine.

Nice burger restaurant with a nice terrace. The view of the football field isn't that great now, but it's definitely great for others. Food is tasty, but nothing extraordinary, but a bit too expensive for my taste. Maybe normal in the big city, but I would have expected something different in the country.

The burger patties were frozen goods, the coleslaw was unfortunately bland and not seasoned well, it's a shame I expected more, and on top of that the fries were cold... that can happen. But the prices for the frozen food are not ok. But very nice atmosphere.

We went to the crime dinner at Germars. It was a great, fun evening. Germars organized it very well. Food was brought quickly during breaks. The food was delicious. There were 3 courses. Salad with goat cheese was something different and tasted very tasty. There were 3 main course options (meat, fish or vegetables). Looked very appealing too, as did the dessert. The whole evening was a success and definitely recommended.

I thought for a long time whether I should write. I'm a little disappointed. But that doesn't really apply. The restaurant is finely furnished and has a nice ambience. The problem is again the food. I had 9 chicken wings. The chicken was lukewarm and extremely dry. Plus Germar's BBQ in cold. After just 2 wings I ate cold meat. Chicken wings are never dry!!! And they were very dark. I have to assume that the chicken wings were warmed up for the second time. Then they taste like that. I also do it privately to save money. But private is something different, right? We came on a beautiful Saturday at prime lunch time, and the restaurant was empty (two tables were still occupied). That tells me a lot. I was pretty upset when I got the bill. €120 for four, although my chicken cost €13. The cappo costs €3.80. So €4 for a cappo in the middle of nowhere, sorry but that's no fun. Sorry again if this criticism bothers anyone - you don't have to take me seriously, I'm over 60. Maybe that's why.

Top service! Online reservation went wrong, but a table for 4 people (!) was still organized for us without any problems. The food was there within 20 minutes, even though there was a big event taking place in the next room. Everything perfect.

I ended up here looking for good burgers. My expectations were high but unfortunately they were not fully met. Restaurant ambience and service were top. The chilli cheese fries were great. But when it came to the most important thing, the meat in the burger, I had imagined something different. The burger was nicely put together but the patty was very thin and therefore dry and hard on the outside instead of juicy and tender. Therefore 1 star deducted.

Wir wollten am monatlichen Pubquiz teilnehmen. Uns wurden trotz vorheriger Reservierung zu sechst (!) zwei Zweiertische zugewiesen, die verrückterweise auch noch gegen eine Wand geschoben waren. Wir hätten unsere Teller auf den Knien balancieren oder schichtweise essen müssen. Schließlich wurde uns ein größerer Tisch angeboten, weil jemand anderes abgesagt hatte. Aber an sich war schon geklärt, welchen Stellenwert der Gast hier hat. Hauptsache er lässt Geld da, der Rest ist egal. Obendrein wurden auch noch die Preise zwischen 30-40 % im Vergleich zu 2023 erhöht, zumindest bei den Gerichten bei denen ich mich noch dran erinnern konnte. Wir waren in der Vergangenheit öfter hier, aber das hat sich für uns als vierköpfige Familie aufgrund der neuen Preispolitik erledigt. Es sind immer noch TK-Pommes und Burger, auch wenn die hohen Preise etwas anderes suggerieren 😉.
