Das Lammfleisch bestand hauptsächlich aus Fett, wenig Beilage. Die Portionen waren teuer in Relation zur Quantität und Qualität. Atmosphäre ist sehr stressig und eignet sich nicht für einen relaxten Abendessen in Ruhe. Bedienung schien sich nicht allzusehr darum zu kümmern

First time trying Georgian food and it was pretty good. All very dough heavy and in the case of the dumplings, Khinkali, I wished for some kind of sauce with it, but it still filled me up a lot.

Wonderful place!! Extremely recommended. Food was really really tasty, and the options on the menu were extensive. We are for sure coming back to try different things. Staff was super friendly, kind and effective. Food was brought super fast, respecting the order that we asked for. The atmosphere of the place is very nice, super comfortable. Only point of attention is that they are always fully booked, so book your place with some time :) Will surely come back!!

A very good Georgian restaurant in Munich! People told me that it serves authentic food, so I went with friends. We tried both vegetarian dishes and meat dishes, and everything was amazing. In fact, the semi-sweet red wines were awesome. Bonus points for the humorous nature of the staff there. Highly recommended!

This is not Georgia. This is not even "Mama-Manana" in Kharkiv. At the entrance, you are greeted by an inscription that you cannot pay with Visa or Master. Cash or German EC card only. The staff is cool, there are no questions. Decent men, very polite and without this tourist "molasses". There are many people. The restaurant is about 2.5 km from the center, but the boarding is full. Dear. As for this quality of food, expensive. My check included kharcho, khinkali, beef kebab, fried eggplant, a glass of beer and 200 grams of Nemirov. It all came out to 73 euros. Food... empty. Three pieces of meat, about 50 grains of rice. All. Yushka is tasty, the spices are correct. But it should be served in a glass. Shish kebab is dry. Just like chalk. The taste is very mediocre. Potatoes for barbecue are baked, but, again, dry and hard. My best man cooks better. Khinkali - first of all, they are too big. Secondly, there are no greens and spices in the minced meat at all. Yes, you can hear the mutton, but that's about it. Neither cilantro nor pepper. That's it. Eggplants and vodka are delicious. I will not return, I will not advise my friends.

Das georgische Restaurant IVERIA ist sehr verkehrsgünstig, weil direkt an der U-Bahn-Station Poccistraße gelegen. Eine Reservierung wird empfohlen, weil es wegen der leckeren Küche und moderater Preise oft recht voll ist und die Liebhaber kaukasischer Küche bleiben hier gerne etwas länger. Die Ausstattung ist schlicht, jedoch dezente Akzente Verleihen dem Speiseraum zumindest etwas georgisches Ambiente. Das Personal ist zwar gegenüber Fremden nicht überfreundlich, weiß sich aber zu benehmen und ist behilflich. Das ist aber nicht der Grund, weshalb man in dieses Restaurant einkehrt. Der Grund ist die sehr leckere Küche! Zudem - für Münchner Verhältnisse - sind die Preise der Hauptspeisen durchaus moderat bei ausreichenden Portionsgrößen, so dass ein normaler Esser mit einer Hauptspeise auch ohne Vorspeisen und Nachtisch gut satt wird. Es schmeckt aber nach mehr. Die günstigsten Preise kommen jedoch nicht von ungefähr, denn nach Meinung von Kennern sind die Teller vergleichsweise gemüselästig, was der neuen deutschen Esskultur auch eher entspricht als jene landestypischen Speisen in Georgien. Dem Geschmack tut es jedoch keinen Abbruch, nur dass ausgesprochene Fleischliebhaber könnten sich etwas getäuscht fühlen. Was haben wir gegessen? Schaschlik vom Schwein für 16,80 €, Tschakapuli à 18,90 € (etwas wässrige weiße Suppe mit Mirabellen, daher mit einer Handvoll Ofenkartoffeln serviert), Tschanachi 22,50 € (Lammschmortopf mit viel Kartoffeln), Nachtischkuchen "Ideali" à 5,10 €, eine 0,75l Flasche Kindzmarauli (lieblicher, alkohol- und schwefelarmer Rotwein) à 32,- €, Cappuccino à 4,30 €, Kaffee Schwarz 3,80 €, Einzig der Kaffee war geschmacklich nicht auf der Höhe, wenngleich genießbar. Was Barrierefreiheit angeht, so muss man erst ein paar Stufen überwinden, um hinein zu kommen. Bei Problemen, kann man telefonisch um Hilfe bitten. Allerdings ist es im Inneren nicht viel besser, da die Gänge recht schmal sind und der Gastraum ist mit Tischen voll zugestellt. Der Einstieg lohnt sich aber trotzdem angesichts sehr guter Küche und einer exzellenten Weinkarte.

The Georgian restaurant IVERIA is very convenient because it is located directly at the Poccistraße subway station. Reservations are recommended because it is often quite crowded due to the delicious cuisine and moderate prices, and lovers of Caucasian cuisine like to stay here a little longer. The furnishings are simple, but subtle accents give the dining room at least some Georgian ambience. The staff is not overly friendly towards strangers, but they know how to behave and are helpful. But that is not the reason why you come to this restaurant. The reason is the very tasty cuisine! In addition - for Munich standards - the prices of the main courses are quite moderate with sufficient portion sizes, so that a normal eater can get enough to eat with one main course, even without starters and dessert. But it tastes like more. However, the cheapest prices are no coincidence, because according to connoisseurs, the plates are comparatively vegetable-heavy, which is more in line with the new German food culture than the typical dishes in Georgia. However, it doesn't affect the taste, except that serious meat lovers might feel a little disappointed. What did we eat? Pork shish kebab for €16.80, Tschakapuli at €18.90 (somewhat watery white soup with mirabelle plums, therefore served with a handful of baked potatoes), Tschanachi €22.50 (lamb stew with lots of potatoes), dessert cake "Ideali" at €5, 10 €, a 0.75l bottle of Kindzmarauli (sweet, alcohol and low-sulphur red wine) at €32, cappuccino at €4.30, black coffee €3.80, Only the coffee wasn't up to par in terms of taste, although it was drinkable. As far as accessibility goes, you have to climb a few steps to get in. If you have any problems, you can ask for help by phone. However, things aren't much better inside, as the aisles are quite narrow and the dining room is full of tables. But it's still worth getting started because of the very good cuisine and an excellent wine list.

This was my third time at Iveria with my family and we love it. The food is very tasty, the taste is very good and the wine is also highly recommended. The atmosphere is cozy, it actually feels like you are in Georgia. The service is top, they keep an eye on their guests and are very humorous and friendly. That's why we'd love to come back.

Without ordering, I got birthday cake. It was very nice. But I was very surprised when I found €5.10 for the cake on my bill and I was so shocked that I just paid without comment.

I just wanted to order something to pick up by phone. It says online that you should write down the number so that you can provide it when ordering for faster processing. I put together a menu for 4 people in 15 minutes and was excited to order. Unfortunately, the employee just hung up the phone on me. The reason - he wanted the names of the dishes and not the numbers. I tried to find them quickly at the same time, but it took too long for him and he just hung up. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. It's definitely delicious. What a shame!

I learned to enjoy lively and original Georgian cuisine when I worked in St. Petersburg. Cola' the gastronomy of the ancient Caucasian country (also known for its wine production, which has very deep roots) is much loved by Russians, to the point that the restaurants of the nation protected by Saint George are present in every neighborhood, even in the capital Fly. Therefore, when I discovered Iveria in Munich, I began to visit it regularly, given the imagination, harmony and mastery of the dishes offered. Georgians and Russians in Bavaria frequent it, as well as Germans, of course. The place is not particularly large and the tables are tightly packed together. The menu, however, is extensive, with 4 types of "kaciapuri" (a sort of pizza with fresh sheep's cheese, cooked in the oven, which is a little similar to focaccia with Genoese cheese), perhaps the most typical dish of that brilliant country. Then there are many appetizers made with the leading products of the Caucasus (aubergines, beets, cabbage, walnuts, pomegranate, coriander, aromatic spices), a true feast for the eyes. Lamb cannot be missing and they serve it both as "sciasclik" skewers and also as a filling for "cinkali" (elegant little pasta bags). I enjoyed the "lobio" bean soup, served while still boiling. Alessia, on the other hand, my refined and demanding former colleague, comforted herself with a "sazivi", soup with pieces of chicken, in a walnut cream. Not being an expert in wines, I have to give up the role of advisor. But they are worth trying as their wine production dates back to the dawn of civilization. I feel obliged, however, to point out the mellow "Borjomi" mineral water, particularly sulphurous in taste and smell, in a triumph of bubbles. It was my first time visiting this restaurant and since a friend is from Georgia, he did order for us. The menu is very extensive and many dishes are vegetarian. Some impressed me more, like the flatbread filled with cheese and another one that had the cheese on top. The bread was extremely soft and the cheese was perfectly melted. The Georgian salad was also simple but delicious. Some beef stew with tomato sauce was also very nice (similar to a goulash) The mushrooms filled with cheese were fine but not special There was another stew made with pieces of chicken in a delicious garlic sauce I also tried the dumplings with broth and meat in them. I think that a nice sauce to go with them, would have been perfect To pair all that I had a semi sweet wine and some traditional sparkling drinks The only thing that bothered me was the ventilation inside the dining room. That evening was quite warm and the air conditioner was placed too high and we could not enjoy the cool breeze :( Other than this, the service was excellent and the food (almost all of it) was absolutely amazing. I would totally recommend this restaurant

We found the restaurant on Google based on reviews, came immediately and did not regret it: They greeted us with a smile, quickly brought us a flower vase and helped us choose a place for a large bouquet so that it wouldn’t fall and get in the way on the table. They offered excellent dishes. We ordered several different dishes for a shared table for three people. We were very hungry and missed delicious Georgian cuisine. But we were offered not to take so many - the portions are really large! And I really appreciate it: we were hungry and wanted to try EVERYTHING! ) and in the end they also took away what turned out to be beyond his power))) Incredibly tasty, fast, friendly! The service is wonderful! The toilet is clean, there is soap and disinfectant. We found a parking lot 500 meters from the restaurant using Google, but if we were lucky, we could have parked the car closer. The interior is very authentic: cute figures on the shelves, curtains on the windows, everything is very traditional and creates the right atmosphere. And “The cherry on the cake”: we wanted to order dessert and brought candles for the cake. We told the administrator about this in advance to give the child a surprise. But then, having tried so many things, they could no longer eat sweets, they asked for the bill, and then they turned on the “Happy Birthday” music and brought out a cake with a gorgeous candle-fire as a gift from the restaurant! The food is delicious, the portions are large, the only negative is for me personally, we took pickles, but they were pickled and not very tasty. But again, this is to my taste. The prices are good. It’s as if I was home in Kharkov at my favorite restaurant (maybe some of us will understand “Shoti”) and I would add how we had liqueurs, but probably this is purely Ukrainian. Thank you very much. Adjarian khachapuri is a little dry, not enough curd cheese, in Adjara they put more, wine, eggplants, salads are excellent, service is at the highest level, which is not typical for Georgian establishments, there are few free places, you must make a reservation, there is not enough space in this establishment, too cramped and super small tables, which is not typical for Georgian culture. They even put tables in the aisles and we ended up with just such a table, ask for a table not in the aisle. I will definitely come back again, as the cuisine is excellent and the chef prepares Georgian dishes very well, the recipe is excellent. I wish the owners to expand the space and delight guests with a more comfortable atmosphere! Great respect to the staff.

This was my 3 visit to Georgian restaurant in Germany, me and my friends were blown away with everything. The experience starts when you open the door and come inside - very friendly and helpful personnel, and the authentic smell in the restaurant made us very excited. The food was super delicious and fulfilling, Kharcho I ordered felt exceptionally tasty and authentic. Khinkalis were big, juicy and tasty. Just maybe one should be a bit careful with Shkmeruli - it was too garlicky for our taste. It is also located very conveniently on U bahn line and you can get there via bus from the city center. Great experience, would repeat again (especially with foreigners who never tried Caucasian food). Thank you!

We tried a few dishes, but the standout ones for us were the Kubdari (not pictured), Chinkali Kalakuri, and Lamb Chinkali. The service could use some improvement, but it wouldn't keep me from coming back.

Very good restaurant with authentic food and service that is just as authentic. No fake friendliness for more tips, just relaxed men who don't have to prove anything to anyone, because the food speaks for itself. The only deduction is because the music is a bit too loud.

Expect many people in the evenings, especially Fridays. Booking in advance is a good strategy. The tables inside are very close to each other, there is no conditioner and the place itself is small. It leads to a non-comfortable dinner if you prefer cozy areas with quiet music. Cousine is a Georgian one with some Russian and Ukraine dishes. We ordered a few dishes, but Khinkali is the best one. Others are just ok. A bit pricy. It is the only choice in Munich for that type of cuisine so try it out.

Small shop so it's best to reserve in advance. It's just a shame that all of the traditional meat dishes contain so much coriander that you can't opt ​​out. But otherwise very tasty.

Unfortunately, we did not book in advance, but we were happy that the staff still could spontaneously find and offer us alternatives in an almost full restaurant. The food is fresh, hot and very tasty! Every dish was a masterpiece! Well done in the kitchen👌🏼 The staff is very friendly and active. They are very attentive which lets the guests feel themselves comfortable. I guess that’s what people mean while talking about Georgian hospitality. Atmosphere was great and the music is calm too. We will visit this restaurant again every time we are back to Munich!

Being a newcomer to Georgian food, I did not really know what to expect here but it started out well: the cheese bread (Khachapuri) was pretty good and unique. The chicken in walnut sauce (Satsivi) was mixed, the sauce was flavourful and solid but the chicken dry and tough. The veal and potatoes that followed was also rather average, with the meat also being a tad dry and tough and without much flavour on the vegetables beyond some mildly acidic dip. Perhaps I came on the wrong day but it’s a not bad but nothing special restaurant for now.
