Genji Sushi in Meckenbeuren

FANTASTIC! Our absolute favorite sushi in the entire Lake Constance district. Service/Staff: All employees are ALWAYS extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything has always worked out so far. Eat: Incredibly delicious sushi. Always 100% fresh ingredients, you can taste every single taste bud and the presentation is always great. The price is rather more expensive, but really justified for the quality. Ambience/Location: The restaurant is very small and therefore not great for us. However, you can't do anything about the space. We always order for pickup and when we get home everything is still fine and super fresh. The Genji is really a heart recommendation if you want to enjoy good sushi and of course all other dishes!!!

Small, cozy restaurant with an open kitchen. Paradise for sushi lovers and classic Asian cuisine. We were there with our family and ordered a wide variety of beetroot...everything was perfect in terms of taste and appearance. Chapeau

I was an absolute regular customer here, but unfortunately I can no longer come due to moving to Hamburg. I sorely miss the absolutely unsurpassable sushi from Genji! Unfortunately, I haven't found a comparable restaurant in Hamburg yet. I hope I can enjoy it again at some point. Also warm greetings to the great team on site.

An update after two years. We just picked up two dishes and a salad again. Absolutely top class, fresh, tasty and good portions. And the staff is very friendly and attentive... simply TOP! Today we ordered two dishes and a salad. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and the food was ready at the specified time. Clear recommendation and we will come back :-)

Great Asian. The place is quite inconspicuous and small but the kitchen makes up for it all.

Delicious fresh sushi, well crafted. Service was nice and quick. The food came very quickly. Homemade spring rolls and dumplings. Everything very well prepared. Portions absolutely ok for the price. Unfortunately the air conditioning was very cold, so we changed tables. We'll definitely be back.

Genji is doing everything right! The food was divine and not as oversalted as I am used to from Asian restaurants. The service was excellent, very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is very pleasant and aesthetic. €50 for two people with main course, sushi and drink. Really okay. And the lunch menus don't look bad either. Happy to come back!

Very, very tasty sushi. We had a chef's surprise platter. The staff and the boss are very friendly. After 30 minutes the plate was ready. Sitting inside is also nice and air-conditioned. Sitting outside would be too uncomfortable and loud for me. But that doesn't detract from the sushi. Really very tasty 😋

I ate here for the first time today. Very nice atmosphere, super friendly staff and the best duck I've eaten so far, sensational. This was certainly not my last visit, I can only recommend it. Dare, try it out!!

Fantastic sushi / value for money with very helpful staff - especially for guests suffering from allergies. We stayed at Ravensburger Spielland and while the Land is super the food is not and we needed to escape to Genji’s. Well Done Genji!!

Every customer and sushi lover can eat there depending on their choice of dishes 💗 tastes very good, vegetarian options are also available. Liebherr has a corresponding selection.

Miso soup, salad and rice with chicken were good. Very disappointed with the sushi. The sauce totally dominated, some of the rice tasted like plastic, lettuce leaves in the Tuna Roll... we expected a lot more.

After just the second visit I found my new favorite sushi: Kamo Rolls. And there is still so much to try. Also: Attentive service and excellent homemade lemonades.

Wir waren am Sonntag den 17.12.23 im Lokal haben uns gefreut, dass wir ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen haben. Das Essen war sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wir hatten knusprige Ente mit Erdnusssauce, leider verstehe ich nicht warum die Soße so süß schmeckt. Der Beilagenreis war wohl der vorbereitete Sishireis hat einfach nicht gepasst.

Bestes Asia Essen weit und breit. Dazu ein sehr freundlich Service. Top 5 Sterne🌟

Unfassbar leckeres Essen. Ich empfehle es allen meinen Freunden und Bekannten weiter. Ich hole mir immer die 21 b), da die Erdnusssoße ein wahrer Traum ist außerdem ist das Sushi dort auch unschlagbar vorallem F1.

Well, they don’t let you dine in when it says in Google that dine in is an option. All our food could have been eaten out of the boxes without further dishes. Food is not cheap but no credit cards. Not everything is Japanese but this is not clear in the menu. The rice dishes (curry, teriyaki..) were not Japanese or Japanese style (the curry is a light red Thai curry but very watery). A positive: The portions are quite large. I think the sushi rolls are the best thing here.

Super leckeres Essen! Sehr freundlicher und kundenorientierter Service! Das Restaurant wird von einer jungen Damen und ihrer Familie betrieben. Sie geben sich alle immer stets Mühe, damit alle Kundenwünsche erfüllt werden. Das Lokal ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Sind durch Zufall auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen und waren begeistert: Das Genji ist ein kleines, aber feines Sushi Lokal mit sehr nettem Service und frischem Sushi. Eine unkomplizierte und auch kurzfristige Reservierung per Telefon ist möglich und empfehlenswert. Das Essen war super lecker und hat auch nicht lang auf sich warten lassen. Frisch und live vor Ort gemacht. Das Ambiente ist etwas schlichter gehalten, dafür kommt schöne Musik, die nicht aufdringlich ist. 5 von 5 🌟 wohl verdient. Bis demnächst.

Ich fahre jedes Mal knapp 30 Minuten nach Meckenbeuren und es ist jede Minute wert. Für mich das mit Abstand beste Sushi in der Umgebung! Hier stimmt einfach alles, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, der Service, die Mitarbeiter selbst, es könnte wirklich nicht besser sein 🙏🏻

Einfach nur gut! Wir hatten 10 verschiedene Sorten probiert - jede war ein Volltreffer!

Super Essen und Super Service, hier stimmt das Preis Leistung Verhältnis.

Das Genji Sushi in Meckenbeuren hat mich durch und durch beeindruckt. Die Kombination aus geflämmtem Lachs und paniertem Lachs war eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion. Das Chrispy Chicken in Teriyaki-Sauce hat ebenfalls alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Authentizität und Kreativität der Gerichte haben mich begeistert. Der hervorragende Service rundete das Erlebnis perfekt ab. Für mich definitiv 5 Sterne plus, eher sogar 6 Sterne plus.

Zuerst das gute: Trotz das das Restaurant so bleibt ist haben wir tatsächlich noch spontan einen Tisch für zwei Personen reservieren können. Die Bedienung war schnell da, sehr freundlich zu uns und wir bekamen sogar schneller erwartet unser Sushi. Absolute 10/10, ich und mein Freund haben noch nie so gutes Sushi gegessen. Die Zutaten waren frisch, die Getränke gut und die Preise fair. Die Stäbchen haben eine gute Qualität und die allgemein merkt man: hier gibt es gutes Essen. Toiletten waren hygienisch und allgemeine war das Restaurant sehr sauber gewesen. Besonders die halb offene Küche am Eingang gibt den ganzen nochmal eine tolle Atmosphäre. Leider muss ich einfach ein paar Punkte bemängeln: Das Restaurant ist leider von innen nicht so gemütlich wie es scheint. Es gibt kaum Dekoration und man merkt das das Essen hier im Hauptfokus ist. Das ist echt schade da leider, trotz der bequemen Stühlen und tollen Tischen, einfach das gemütliche gefehlt hat. Ein paar Pflanzen, Bilder und noch weitere Deko Elemente würden das Restaurant echt nochmal ne Nummer besser machen. Leider sind die direkten Park Möglichkeiten bisschen schwieriger, wir haben aber einfach am Bahnhof geparkt und sind das Stück gelaufen. Desweiteren, dafür kann das Restaurant nun wenig, wirken die Tische draußen auch ein wenig lieblos und es ist recht laut wegen der Hauptstraße. Auch würde ich als Vegetarier nicht ganz so glücklich dort, ein paar mehr Abwechslungsreiche, vegetarische Varianten wären echt super.(Info: wir haben hier nur Sushi gegessen, deswegen beziehe ich mich auch mit darauf) Wir werden dort weiterhin auf jeden Fall Essen, denn wie bereits gesagt ist es echt eine 10/10 und wir haben unser neues Lieblings Sushi gefunden. Dann aber eher zum Mitnehmen und nicht vor Ort essen.

Wir hatten Sushi zum mitnehmen, wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann. Habe selten so leckeres Sushi gegessen. Es war frisch und geschmacklich super. Tolle Auswahl an verschiedenen Sushi Platten mit verschiedenen Variationen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und weiteres Sushi probieren da mich auch die anderen Varianten und Variationen interessieren
