delicious food and a good atmosphere, for dessert I ordered Dubai chocolate tiramisu, definitely recommended!

Service was solid, we even asked if something was missing. Food was tasty, portions are good and waiting time was reasonable. The cocktails are OK, you occasionally skimp on the alcohol and use more juice, but everyone makes them differently. The ambience is OK!

Scaloppino Gorgonzola, unfortunately only briefly kissed by the Gorgonzola. Lots of brown lettuce pieces in the side salad. When serving, the waiter's thumb was in the salad, so we didn't eat it. Meat fries ok. Bruschetta and pizza rolls are fine in advance.

As always, when we decide to go out for a delicious meal again, we stop at Gelazzo here in Merkstein and we have never been disappointed, although the parking spaces in front of the house are a bit tight but there are enough free ones in the nearby area. So we can simply recommend it, it is not a star restaurant but the honest cuisine would have earned a star

Very good food, friendly service. Some tables are very cramped. What I criticize as an absolute minus is the question when booking whether 2 hours are enough. Otherwise, we'll always be happy to come back.

Good, tasty food, changing weekly menus. You can sit outside, it's covered and protected from the wind. It stays open all the time, so you can eat it even if you're spontaneously hungry.

If you want to eat well at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. Nobody can complain about the food. I've eaten there dozens of times. The downer: the ambience is not really 5-star and the parking spaces are really very modest considering the number of guests there. The staff is always friendly - even when the hut is completely full. I always enjoy coming here.

We've been there a few times and are always satisfied. There's nothing to complain about about the food, the staff are always friendly. The location on the thoroughfare is perhaps a bit suboptimal, but there is plenty of parking nearby.

I went to Gelazzo for the first time and ate Scaloppine Al Funghi. I really couldn't get enough of it, the schnitzels were so thin and then there weren't many fries. And a very small salad. That's just not enough to fill a grown man. I won't eat there again.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer good... the portions have become smaller over time and the prices are significantly more expensive.

We will never eat here on public holidays again! What a hustle and bustle, total chaos, completely unfriendly service, (completely different from if you eat there on a normal day! Never before has the food been so bland, tasteless, as yesterday on Mother's Day :( and there was no friendliness at all! The Galzo of old was hard to find on Mother's Day, unfortunately, so we no longer eat there on public holidays! Food is normally very tasty, good service, nice people, but not yesterday, that was hard to find!! (Not the toilet that several of us unfortunately had to visit in the evening! 🫣

Nothing special. Meat, salad ok. Pepper sauce is nothing (gravy mush with a few Madagascar grains). 0.2l still water €2.70 is a little excessive for a restaurant right next to the gas station.

We had lunch, the restaurant was busy and, as almost always, we got a good seat. As always, the food was very good, you can choose the right dish from a large but fortunately not endless menu. What always bothers me personally is the constant asking if you want something more to drink. As you could clearly see, my glass was still more than half full.... Due to the service, the questions are constantly repeated and I have to say that bothers me a lot. A little more restraint would be good here. Otherwise everything is fine here, as I said, the food is always great.

Anyone who gives the service less than 5 stars is lying. I accidentally dropped the fork (it was unused), so I picked it up today and put it back with the cutlery. I don't know how, but the waitress came straight away and exchanged them straight away. Without me having to ask or anything. I have never experienced such great service. The waitress came several times during the meal and tried to ensure our well-being. Load top

A nice welcome awaits you when you first arrive. They accompany you to your place. It's nice that they ask all the details about your order and serve you accordingly. I haven't eaten such delicious food in such a quality restaurant for such a price in a long time. Truly a 10/10 Restaurant.

Wir waren zuletzt Weihnachten im Gelazzo. Es war alles lecker und optisch auch ein Highlight.

Heel goed eten voor een zeer goede prijs.

Kein Platz zum richtigen Sitzen. Lange wartezeit bei Getränke . Salat viel zu wenig.

Beste Krustinis mit Aioli oder Knoblauchcreme überhaupt, ich hätte nie gedacht das ich mal fürs BROT irgendwo essen fahre :)

Wir haben das Gelazzo kurz nach Weihnachten 2023 besucht und sind wirklich begeistert. Das Restaurant war voll besetzt, das Personal war sehr freundlich und unglaublich strukturiert. Es gab keine Wartezeiten und das Essen war wirklich sehr gut.. Die Menüauswahl war sehr groß. Tatsächlich konnte man sogar noch von der Weihnachtskarte wählen. Diese Möglichkeit haben wir lediglich beim Dessert wahrgenommen. Alles in allem ein runder Abend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

1. Weihnachtstag da gewesen, angerufen reserviert und Tisch für 2h bekommen. Da ja Weihnachten ist, wollte ich mir was gutes gönnen, also Steak mit Pommes für satte 37€, extra gesagt MEDIUM, nach 20 mins warten bekamen wir das Essen. Ich frage mich, wenn das Medium ist (siehe Bild) was ist dann Rare? Fleisch hat absolut nicht geschmeckt, war ja auch fast roh... Werde dort definitiv kein Steak mehr essen für 37€, bin echt enttäuscht 😞

Immer wieder schön dort zu sein, ich liebe eure Pfannengerichte. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider muss ich beim Ambiente runter gehen, da wir leider oftmals zu zweit einen Tisch neben den großen Tischen bekommen und man sich dann nicht mehr richtig unterhalten kann. Gleiches geht wenn man draußen sitzt und die großen Fenster komplett aufgemacht werden und man quasi neben anderen direkt am Tisch sitzt. Man fühlt sich dann leider schnell unwohl und Gespräche bleiben dann nicht mehr privat. Aber sonst gehe ich immer wieder gerne zu euch.

Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, man bekommt hier wirklich gutes Essen für einen angemessenen Preis, der Service ist sehr nett und die Atmosphäre locker

Mein Essen war ganz okay, ich habe schon besser gegessen. Leider hatte ich danach etwas Magenprobleme, ob es am Essen lag, kann ich nicht sagen. Das Ambiente ist auch ganz durchschnittlich, nichts besonderes. Einzig der Service ist wirklich gut, kann man nicht meckern. Ich war jetzt ein paar mal dort essen, aber so richtig überzeugt bin ich leider nicht und komme auch nicht gerne wieder. Das geht besser...

Alles super, wir kommen wieder. Nur die Speisekarten sind sehr abgenutzt. Es befindet sich zwar ein QR Code auf dem Tisch, aber die älteren Semester haben kein Smartphone bzw. können es nicht bedienen.

Wir hatten einen Gemütlichen Abend beim Gelazzo. Das Personal wirklich zuvorkommend, hat unsere Fragen und Wünsche weitergegeben und umgesetzt. Atmosphäre war auch super, saßen draußen auf der Terrasse. War ein schöner Abend. Das Essen ist etwas teurer als man es gewohnt ist, aber lecker ist es allemal. Wir haben uns das Dessert für 2 geteilt, wobei das Tiramisu am besten Geschmeckt hat😍

Tja, was soll ich sagen? Das Gelazzo ist unser Haus- und Hof-Restaurant. Egal ob zum Mittagessen mit ausgewählten Gerichten oder am Abend, wir haben uns hier immer wohl gefühlt. Die Kellnerinnen und Kellner sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist klassisch "Gelazzo", konstant gut und immer lecker. Ein wenig Abwechslung bieten die "Sonderkarten". Einzige Kritik: Ein permanenter Lieferdienst wäre toll, die Räumlichkeit sind recht laut. :) Danke, dass ihr für Merkstein einen wesentlichen Beitrag leistet.
