The food was good and arrived quite quickly. Service was okay. Country-house atmosphere. It was open when everyone else was closed. Many tables are reserved, but they're released when there's time. Overall good!

We were there last weekend, Friday and Saturday evenings, and were always very satisfied with the large portions and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was a bit cold at first, but we later realized that's normal… we would definitely recommend eating there.

Simply amazing! We ate here today and were absolutely thrilled. The roulades, schnitzel, and rump steak were perfectly prepared – tender, juicy, and just like grandma's home-style cooking. You can really taste the love and skill that goes into the cooking here. To finish, we had Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) with apple sauce – a dream! ❤️ Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and honest food, something you rarely find these days. We'll definitely be back!

A very nice restaurant located in Bad Kissingen's upper pedestrian zone, with hearty Franconian food. Incredibly delicious, with super friendly waitresses. I simply love going there, and I'm always welcome to come alone, too. The guests are often very friendly and cheerful, which must be due to the all-round ambiance.

The restaurant was very busy, and all the outdoor seating was taken. We ordered the special on the blackboard (shoulder of pork for 19.00) and a large side salad. The food arrived relatively quickly. As soon as the plate was on the table, at least 10 large green flies besieged us. We had to constantly chase them away. A normal meal was impossible. The dumplings were half-cooked, and the meat consisted of 60% fat. The large side salad was just a flavorless green salad. The waitress didn't really care that there were so many flies buzzing around and didn't do anything about it. We can't recommend the restaurant. We paid full price.

Alles bestens, hätten wir nicht zuhause feststellen müssen, dass wir die Rechnung nicht gut genug kontrolliert hatten: Ein zusätzlicher Radler war darauf verrechnet, welchen wir weder geordert, noch getrunken haben. The wine pairing of Bacchus and Silvaner was perfect. The price is very reasonable, and we'll definitely come back here for some excellent Franconian food. We came back as planned, and we were able to have dinner again today. The loin and the roast pork with dumplings were perfect and simply delicious. Once again, excellent service and a fair price. The food is very good, the service is extremely friendly. There were 3 of us there and all the food was very tasty. The service was very attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. We will happily go there again when we are in Bad Kissingen.

We used to go to this restaurant very often. Unfortunately the previous owner died a few years ago and with him the usual quality. When the new owner took over the shop, everything was actually okay. Until the second visit. Eating (Schäufele) wasn't possible at all. This weekend I thought I would give the pub another chance. Mistakes, mistakes, mistakes...🙈 At twelve o'clock in the afternoon we were given hard, floury, warmed dumplings to make a tough roulade and on top of that the red cabbage was simply thrown onto the plate. Disgusting color and taste. When we asked the waitress about the warmed dumplings, she claimed that wasn't the case and more or less made us look stupid. To top it all off, she surprisingly brought us fresh dumplings after 30 seconds. Then we knew what we were worth in this shed. I can only offer them rotten goods. They're probably spa guests and won't be coming anymore anyway. Of course she is right, as we will definitely not visit this snack bar again. For the first time in my life, I DID NOT tip. Find a nice restaurant in Bad Kissingen with a trained chef and reasonably professional service. There is enough of that in Bad Kissingen, or just eat rotten food.

Das Gastraum sieht so aus, wie man sich ein Gasthaus vorstellt. Das Personal ist herzlich. Wir waren an einem Sonntag dort - und am Wochenende gibt es Fränkische Schäufele. Es war zart, saftig, hatte eine krosse Kruste, und es löste sich vom Knochen. Genau darauf hatten wir uns an dem Abend gefreut!

Went there for dinner today. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Had sauerbraten (probably a few days old) with red cabbage (too sour) and potato dumplings (still raw in the middle). Then piglet (crust too limp) with dumplings (also not cooked through in the middle). Due to the quick serving, it cannot be assumed that it was freshly prepared. Very unfortunate!!!
