Gaststätte Zur Mühle in Leuna

I'd like to address the last review (1*) and, fortunately, cannot share such an experience. My family and friends often go to the "Zur Mühle" restaurant in Kötzschau, and we've been satisfied every time, whether for no special occasion or for a family celebration. The food is delicious and the price-performance ratio is reasonable. And now to the criticized topic of "friendliness." We have always been greeted and served in a friendly and courteous manner by Mr. and Mrs. Drescher and their staff without exception. We are happy that there are two of these quaint restaurants in Kötzschau and the Schladebach district. Hopefully, they will continue to be for a long time to come.

Today again, as always, delicious food and super friendly service. The chef still cooks here himself. Friendly service. You can understand them even without words. Great, thank you and keep up the good work.

I've lived in the village for over 30 years and have been a regular, but not very frequent, guest ever since. The owners are really very friendly. The food is delicious for a "village pub," and the ambiance is rustic and cozy. Everything was great, really. I'm generally a calm, balanced person and treat everyone with kindness. But what I experienced there last Sunday really shocked me: I walked into the dining room and, as is customary here, greeted all the guests by knocking on the tables. And then the waitress attacked me: What the hell was I thinking, just walking past the counter (the restaurant had very few customers at the time). She didn't listen when I said I just wanted to greet everyone as usual. I was told to stay here at the front, and she slammed my hand on the counter. Then she continued: I should hurry up, because the restaurant was closing in 45 minutes, and I would know that. Since that's exactly why I only wanted small, quick dishes (small salad, seasoned meat, and solyanka), which, of course, were already prepared except for the small salad, she responded with: "That's all over the place!" And then came the next snippy remark: "Eat up the solyanka first before you eat the salad!" When I calmly and kindly pointed out that the solyanka was still too hot for me, she responded with: "The salad isn't hot!" Huh? A quarter of an hour before the restaurant closed, with two other tables still occupied, the waitress placed the receipt on the table without being asked. There was no question of: "Did you enjoy your meal, do you have any other requests?" or anything like that. That was too much for me, and I firmly told her what I thought of her behavior. She then made a "shh ... What a disgrace! What a cheek! I've never experienced such behavior in my entire life. But the waitress was actually right in the end; I really don't need that. There's a very good alternative in the neighboring town. The manager herself serves there, and she's always extremely nice and happy when I come. And the food tastes just as good.

The special, small, fine, very tasty. The menu is not clear and the prices are not exorbitant. Afterwards a walk in the green. Really very warm and always happy. Have already made reservations for the next meal today.

Went here for dinner today. A nice cozy pub. Food was delicious. Top price-performance ratio. Service was super fast and very friendly. Can only be recommended.

It's great that the mill plate is back!!! There's nothing wrong with the taste here! Really great. Only the portion size has decreased significantly. And that despite the price increase. I find the atmosphere quaint👍 The staff are super busy! Nice and polite.

Quaint restaurant We felt comfortable, the landlady was accommodating and very nice. We thought it was very good that the landlady, on her own initiative, gave our daughter's order to the kitchen when she ordered her drinks - a great thoughtfulness:) We had schnitzel with championgons and fried potatoes. Schnitzel beaten and homemade. They were the right thickness and not dry. There are also extra nuggets for the little ones, but please ask - they are not on the menu Price/performance great! We'd love to come back :)

We went to the restaurant on our road trip because of the good reviews. The food was "okay". The staff was really super friendly The atmosphere was more like a village pub.

Finally German cuisine again. Almost disappeared from the big cities. A super tasty plate was also put together for me as a vegetarian. Highly recommended.

There is a small playground next door. Difficult to get a booking for celebrations. Food is very good/good German cuisine.

We found the place by accident, but they were super accommodating, flexible and the food was really delicious! As it was warm it was nice to be able to sit outside. We will come again another time! Thank you for good food and service!

Mini portions! One becomes def. not full and for the money, that's not possible! The icebreakers are carelessly prepared with cheap ready-made ice cream. Also kitchen pieces very small. So mini golf, boating or a beer in the beer garden is possible but then it stops.

Important note: ONLY cash payment possible! Very good price/performance ratio! All dishes were extremely tasty. Service was super warm and empathetic. Prices really very good. In other restaurants you usually pay a lot! more. The drinks in particular are very cheap. Would love to come back.

Sehr lecker und gemütlich. Der Spielplatz am Gasthof ist für Kinder auch perfekt und danach kann man noch einen schönen Verdauungsspaziergang machen.

Man glaubt es kaum .Aber es gibt sie noch, die gute "Dorfkneipe"mit Niveau. Essen und Getränke total lecker 😋. Hier kocht der Wirt noch selbst.Bedienung sehr nett. Der Preis ist okay. Dort werden wir definitiv nochmal's einkehren.
