We can only say the best things about the restaurant: a very cozy atmosphere, and the beer garden is also very appealing. The menu offers something for every taste, and it's really difficult to decide. The service staff is very friendly and fast. We have decided that this restaurant is our favorite. Everything is perfect: the prices, the food, the ambiance, the menu, and the staff.

I just have to say thank you today. It doesn't look that inviting from the street, but the outside area is absolutely fantastic! Inside, it's not what some people say it is; it's just an open space, but it's nice. My wife was coming home from work and was craving some German food. I opted for the roast beef with red cabbage and dumplings. She didn't know anything about it, so I called and picked it up, and what can I say? She's so thrilled with the entire meal. We'll be coming back for dinner soon. Super friendly and attentive staff, thank you so much!!! See you soon!!!

I can't really judge, as we were there for a funeral. The rolls and cakes were delicious, the atmosphere was homely, and the service was attentive.

The food is very good. I've never been disappointed! As with many other restaurants, it's difficult to find adequately qualified staff. This is noticeable in the wait times and the manner of service. When the weather is nice, it's busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait and a higher noise level! I still recommend it! ☺️

We had dinner in the beer garden. It was spacious and comfortable to sit in. The food (schnitzel with hunter's sauce, fries, and salad) was delicious.

We ate here on a Sunday, and the place was very reminiscent of an 80s clubhouse. I would describe the atmosphere and decor as rather old-fashioned. The food in this restaurant is German and truly excellent and tasty! The price-performance ratio is really good. We initially received a rather raw schnitzel, but it was replaced without any problems. (It can happen sometimes.) The service was a bit chaotic on this busy Sunday, but completely fine.

The food hasn't been enjoyable for some time now. The currywurst is overcooked, the schnitzel is the same and tough, and the ingredients are grrrrrr. Perhaps another attempt by a bad amateur chef? My friends think so too. We won't be eating there anymore. It was really good once. 🤮🤨😠

Went to the Eiche again today for lunch. The food was once again very good. The only brief complaint was that my daughter's salmon wasn't cooked well. My complaint was immediately addressed in a friendly manner, and the food was served again properly. When paying, I was very pleasantly surprised to learn that I didn't have to pay for the meal. Thank you again for the wonderful service, and I would go back anytime.

Several of us ate there on Sunday. However, I wasn't impressed with the food. We ordered two bottles of water, among other things. These weren't your average mineral water bottles, as you'd expect! When I asked, they said it was carbonated water, even from their tap. Furthermore, the screw threads on both bottles were extremely dirty, so they replaced them. That was pretty much the end of my day. The potato with sour cream didn't impress me either. The potato was good, but the sour cream was a heavy mess on my potato and had a strong mayonnaise flavor. The chicken was frozen and had a gnarly consistency. It's outrageous that they charge the standard restaurant price of €6.50 for carbonated tap water.

Very friendly service, delicious food! You'll also be filling. Various side dishes such as fries, croquettes, fried potatoes (very tasty), etc. I'd say the prices are within the normal range.

Angebotenen Gerichte im Angebot, zerkocht und zu oft erwärmt. Currywurst mit Bratkartoffeln ok, aber die Bratkartoffeln schwammen in der Currysoße

5 of 7 reserved tables were not honored and simply changed. Offers like suckling pig old, just warmed up and not crispy. Red cabbage is completely overcooked because it has been warmed up too often and therefore has no taste. Currywurst and fries OK and salads too, the rest well ............... Man feels dismissed but not welcome because of too restless due to constant events. We get along Berenbostel guarantees no more

Had a great meal in this restaurant, the rump steak was perfect and buried under mushrooms. The bradkartoffelen were delicious with bacon and onion. The staff is friendly only the decoration (of the restaurant) could be better. It is now bare and uninvitingly decorated but the food certainly makes up for that.

The food was totally lacking. After several disappointments we no longer eat here. Relatives and colleagues also independently reported negative experiences regarding food.

We were there for breakfast yesterday and left full and satisfied. A nice selection, the service was very friendly. Anyone who knows Mark and his girls knows this. When we are with our relatives in Garbsen we like to come.

Price/performance is very good. Poetions sufficiently large, taste okay. Drinks very affordable. Furnishings are reminiscent of the 70s/80s, we were thrilled.

Solid rustic German cuisine with teasing fifty/fifty offers like half a currywurst + half a Jägerschnitzel. Brawn with fried potatoes is also highly recommended. Very friendly service, everything was very clean, reasonable prices. We'd love to come back.

A great restaurant. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting that you immediately feel at home. The service is warm and attentive and the food is delicious. The presence of the Bernese Mountain Dog makes the restaurant even more cozy and inviting. We really enjoy eating there.

The Gaststätte zur Eiche is a great, lovely and always appropriate restaurant. No matter whether you want to watch football on Saturday or plan family celebrations. The menu is seasonally adjusted and has the right food for everyone at any time. You can always rely on the team and impress with their delicious home-style cuisine, friendly staff and a great boss. You feel comfortable here :)

Don't stick to agreements. The promised pickup, which was specifically discussed on the phone, was simply canceled. It doesn't work at all. It's definitely fun if you're planning a big celebration there.

The Eiche was really a great restaurant, with super nice, funny service staff and very tasty food. Unfortunately, that has changed completely in the last few months. Everyone seems totally overwhelmed, is short and not particularly friendly. Unfortunately the food also turned out really bad. Either "burnt" or undercooked, poorly seasoned or very obviously not fresh. It's a shame, we won't eat any more. For the money you pay, you should be able to expect good, fresh food.

Good place to eat a simple roast pork again. When I ordered, I was warned that it might take a little longer because we had a party to cater for. I was all the more surprised that the beer (my favorite type of dark hefeweizen is also available!) was on the table straight away and the food was on the table after a few minutes. I would like to stop by again.

Food: The food was average. The schnitzels were not homemade but frozen goods. The bean “salad” was beans without anything, no dressing. They squeaked in their mouths. The fried potatoes were very fatty. The side salad was quite tasty. Service: The service was very friendly. Ambience: The dining room was still full of party supplies from the previous evening. There were two TVs showing football. A voice came regularly from a radio in the background. This voice gave the next orders and had nothing to do with the restaurant. That was very disturbing. For vegetarians there is a veggie burger (this was sold out), baked potato or fried potatoes.

Very attentive service. The food tasted very good and was more than adequately portioned. The steak was definitely not a convenience product and the fries could of course have been bought, but that's perfectly fine in my opinion. The colleague's fried potatoes were also very good and unfortunately there was no room for dessert. Whatever is left can be packed up if desired. If we ever come to the area again, we would stop by again.

I loved the sambal chicken schnitzel. Really very tasty, crispy and a large portion. Everyone will be full and happy 😉😋

Wir waren mit 5 Personen zum ersten Mal in der Eiche . Es war Spanferkelbufett angesagt. Das Spanferkel wurde mit ca. 30 Minuten Verspätung aufgebaut war aber soweit ok bis auf die Schwarte, die nicht kross war. 4 Personen hatten sich für Lachsfilet entschieden. Das kam, lieblos auf einem Teller drapiert, auf einem riesigen Berg trockener (ohne jegliche Sosse) zusammengepappter Bandnudeln, die auch noch über den Tllerrand heraushingen. Allerdings gab es eine Schale Remouladensosse, die die Nudeln ja nicht verbesserte. Das Essen war nur lauwarm und der Lachs trocken. Fazit: allgemeine große Enttäuschung.

We ordered schnitzel in the “Biergarten”. Schnitzel was delicious, the sauce was just slapped on it. Serving the sauce separately on the plate is more appropriate for this dish. And, the condition of the drinks, a little more friendliness is in order! We will forego the oak service in the future!

I was full of anticipation when I came across this restaurant online because I'm not from the area. To eat there was a cream of asparagus soup, unfortunately the consistency was like paste, the more you ate it, the more finished sweater pieces came to the top... there was also a wafer-thin slice of baguette that was unfortunately filled with cheese and garlic, which didn't go well with it at all. I ordered 500g of asparagus with boiled potatoes, ham and hollandaise. The asparagus was so hard that the table next door heard it crack when chewing.. the hollandaise tasted sour and the best thing at the end.... I have it on plastic Chewing it between the ham was a complete disaster!!! I would prefer to give 0 stars, plus I paid the full amount of 40 euros for everything!!!!!!!NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Very nice service, delicious food

If you like long waiting times, 90 minutes from ordering to serving the food, dead fried frozen schnitzels, undercooked baked potatoes drowning in quark, dry burgers for which you have to order the sauce separately and greasy croquettes, then... is right here. It's a shame, we were promised more thanks to all the good reviews wherever they came from.

We were there yesterday on a recommendation and unfortunately totally disappointed. I had ordered veal schnitzel with sambal sauce and croquettes, after a while I was informed that there was no longer any veal, so I chose pork. We then waited almost 1.5 hours for our food, the schnitzel was so thin that you could hardly see it under the sauce. The croquettes were greasy and very dark, as was the schnitzel, so I had to burp from the frying fat for the rest of the evening! It's a shame, unfortunately not recommended!

Overwhelmed on Mother's Day, less would certainly have been better for the guests and employees, the asparagus buffet was difficult, the asparagus was often woody, the dishes on the menu were not convincing despite the limited selection, they came after an hour and... Everything altogether disappointing.
