Was here to go to the theater. The dishes, cheese pressed dumplings, schnitzel with fries, sausages with sauerkraut or Obatzda platter, were very cleanly prepared. The schnitzel is well stuffed, portions are not huge, but very inexpensive. The drink prices were outstanding. Due to the full hall, the service was a bit busy and some people received their food late or not at all. The full hall is also very cramped, but you want to sit at the front of the theater stage.

Very nice team, delicious 😋 Food whether on site or to take away. Very clean, as there is no contact with the money from the sellers. Very good selection of sausages, meat products and cheese.

We often go to Hoa Sen because there is no longer much choice of Asian restaurants in the Dillinger region. Since there is often no space spontaneously, we always make a reservation on the day we want to go, which has always worked well so far. The furnishings could of course be freshened up a bit, but I still find it suitable and beautiful even after years. You always receive a friendly welcome, but I find it more comfortable when there is less going on. If the shop is fully booked, the main course is already put on the table, even though you only started with the starter shortly before. This is of course a bit inconvenient as the space on the tables is limited and the main course then of course gets cold. So far, this has only ever happened to us when the shop is full; when it's less busy, we pay a lot of attention to it and only serve when you're finished. Then people ask more people whether they would like to drink something else when the glass is empty. The food is high quality and beautifully served and always tastes good. It's just a shame that it's difficult to change anything in the existing menus. Unfortunately, you cannot change the fried noodles to ribbon noodles and if you choose a menu with ribbon noodles, there is no fried chicken. Some flexibility would be good here, since everything is freshly prepared and put together anyway. Otherwise we are always very satisfied. Price/performance is right and is a little cheaper than the restaurant on the other side of the street. We'd love to come back. UPDATE 2025 We have been there several times now and the food is still very good. However, the last few times you always felt a bit unwanted or like you were being mass processed. You sit in the restaurant for a long time without being served, the food comes all over the place without paying attention to the starter/main course/together with other guests at the table. You almost have to be pushy to order a drink. Our conclusion is now to go to Watami in Gersthofen.
