We would like to expressly agree with the positive reviews - we were there for the third time today and each time we ate very well, especially when you take into account the more than fair prices. We would especially like to highlight the small but really good salad buffet and the wonderfully crispy fries. The ambience in the long-established clay jug has been given a fresh touch by the new operators. Everything looks bright and tidy. But the service deserves the greatest praise. One evening we were brought the wrong dish, but we accepted it so that the dish didn't have to be thrown away. The boss emphatically refused to charge for the meal in question - which we would have been happy to pay for, after all, we had eaten it. Tip, top and gladly again! Thank you, Tonkrug team!

Food so-so - service underground Even though the restaurant wasn't particularly full, it took almost an hour for the food to arrive was served. The waiter, who had previously answered our friendly request, opened the door to the outside area (no one sat outside, quite cold rainy day) closing due to draft, not particularly reacted in a friendly manner, and later was in top form: After dinner he appeared and asked the usual question whether it tasted good. I carefully asked him if he really wanted to hear the truth, to which he replied in the affirmative. So I told him, always in a friendly manner, that compared to the previous owner of the restaurant, Didn't taste nearly as good as this one. When it came to the schnitzel, I said that the previous owner said it was super tender and had a fantastic breading have had. I also preferred her fries because they weren't as crispy as here. The waiter then became downright aggressive, even propped his leg on a chair in front of me and said, The schnitzels are always fresh and I probably have a problem because I probably knew the previous owner privately would" etc. (which is not the case). If I liked her “fried to death schnitzel” better, then so be it, all in one totally stroppy tone of voice. Small note: "Fried to death" schnitzel usually becomes as tough as shoe soles, the schnitzel when prepared It was so tender that it melted in your mouth. The best thing was that I never said that I didn't like it here at all, I just thought that the food from the previous one was a lot better, from my subjective point of view, everyone should judge for themselves. But if this is how you deal with criticism, I have to ask myself what such people have lost in the service industry. I've never experienced anything so unprofessional, this house will definitely never see me again. And a little tip for the future: If you don't want to hear the answer, it's better not to ask.

Today, after a long time (3 years), I ate it again in an earthenware jug. I can only recommend. Very nice hospitality and the food was great. Had a gyro plate that was delicious. The prices are also more than reasonable. Would love to come back. Thank you.

Ordered there for the first time today. Service on the phone was very nice. We ordered a turkey paprika steak and a Jägerschnitzel to take away. Salad tasted fresh and looked good too. Paprika turkey steak had a Chinese touch, but also seemed freshly cooked. But the schnitzel was subpar, not fresh, seemed more like a frozen schnitzel and the sauce also tasted like ready-made sauce. There were hardly any mushrooms. We won't order again.

Delicious food with a well-stocked salad bar where you can help yourself. Is recommended.

We haven't eaten there yet, but used the delivery service first today. The lady on the phone was very nice and relaxed. The food was there after about 45 minutes and was still hot, which is not always a given at other restaurants/snack bars. And we enjoyed it very much. Schnitzel van Helsing and a grill plate. We will definitely visit the restaurant soon!! Therefore, not full marks for the ambience.

Honestly, every review that is good here is fake or bought. The store is the last of the last. Just like its operator. Goes bankrupt and throws money around, and the poor husband has to use crutches until he collapses. The people who work there have to work for less money. So that the old unkempt darling can continue to act like she's sick. But she runs around the stable all day with her 4 horses. He also runs a black stable. If she feels it necessary to be in the store, she does so unwashed from the stable. It is also rumored that she regularly brings animals to the slaughterhouse that are no longer registered as animals for slaughter. What happens to the meat... Enjoy it! The funny thing is, this woman just tries to cause trouble for other people, no matter how. But for those who live in glass houses ;), think about it.

Today we went to the Tonkrug with friends for a goose leg meal and were very, very satisfied. The leg was buttery tender and very tasty. The dumplings and red cabbage were also excellent. The service was friendly and accommodating. In our opinion, the price/performance ratio was more than suitable. Next comes the schnitzel buffet, we are excited.

There were four of us and we ate well and deliciously...the mussels were really great...unfortunately the local Pilsner was out of stock, but then there's an Alt! Otherwise everything was quick and friendly...

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, Salat kann man sich an der Salatbar zusammen stellen ist frisch und Dressing selbst gemacht einfach lecker. Hauptgericht schmeckte einfach spitze hatte Gyros in Metaxersoße überbacken und mein Partner Steak Medium mit Folienkartoffel mit Quark auch dieser war selbst gemacht. Alles hat 5 Sterne verdient. Danke und wir werden öfter mal zum Mittag kommen.

Sehr gemütlich. Ganz tolles Frühstücksbuffet und andere Events. Leckere Sachen für jeden Geldbeutel und super freundliche Bedienung .

Der Tonkrug ist eine Gaststätte auf einem Campingplatz. Dafür ist das Ambiente okay. Wir haben auf der Terrasse gesessen. Der Service war flott unterwegs und das Essen war okay. Wir fanden das Essen preiswert und waren zufrieden.

habe ich mir ehrlich gesagt mehr von versprochen.....der Hammer ist das Besteck.....billigste Qualität...schmerzt in der Hand da es viel zu klein ist. Hat mehr den Charakter eines Schnellimbiss. Habe mit meiner Frau dort degessen. Schitzel.....besser gesagr Pressfleisch...TK Ware....lieblos auf dem Teller drapiert. Für uns kein 2.Mal Da die netten Menschen wie msn an der Antwort auf meine Rezension erkennen kann lieber unverschämt reagieren als sich Kritik mak zu Herzen nehmen habe ich meine vergebenen Sterne korrigiert. Die Schnitzel sind....wie schon mehrfach hier kritisiert eine Katastriphe. und garantiert nicht frisch zubereitet. Und das Besteck war nicht defekt....stimmt. Habe ich auch nicht behauptet. Aber weit entfernt von halbwegs gutem Gastronomiebesteck. Da kann man auch Plastikbesteck nehmen......hat man aber der Umwelt zu liebe drauf verzichtet. :-)

Nette Gaststätte, die direkt am Eingang des Campingplatzes liegt. Super netter Service, leckeres Essen, mit Tagesmenü, warmen und kalten Speisen und tollen Desserts zu moderaten Preisen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 3 größeren Kindern dort essen und waren super zufrieden. Gesessen haben wir Schnitzel mit Spargel, Burger und Blumenkohl Käse Medaillons, alles sehr lecker. Preislich unschlagbar (keine 17 Euro pro Person, mit jeweils 2 Getränken), Service sehr Freundlich und Ambiente im Biergarten sehr angenehm. Wir werden hier öfters zu Besuch sein 😊

Gastronomie an einem Campingplatz. Vielseitige Speisekarte. Für jeden etwas. Das Lokal ist schön gelegen, mitten im Grünen. Parkplätze in ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Sehr freundlicher Wirt.

Pommes und Currywurst waren super. Getränke sehr günstig. Eindeutig besser als der daneben. Bin positiv überrascht.

Neueste Challenge Einmal alle Schnitzel Gerichte durchtesten. Um das beste zu finden. Bisheriger Favorit ist das Tonkrug Schnitzel! Die Gerichte sind durch die Bank sehr lecker. Und die Saucen handgemacht. Ab und zu gibt es Sonderveranstaltungen. Ab diesen Tagen sollte man vorher reservieren sonst kann man nur durchs Fenster gucken

Was viele vergessen, auch im Winter kann man sich im Tonkrug verwöhnen lassen. Denkt dran das eine Gaststätte ist und Gastlichkeit ist hier nicht nur ein Wort. Eine vernünftige Karte, preiswertes Essen wenn man die ganze Familie mit nimmt und ein kompetenter Service. Auch bei einer Unverträglichkeit hat man leckere Lösungen. Frische und Qualität stimmen und sonst noch ein lokales Bier Mal genießen. Also nicht nur bei schönem Wetter wieder kommen. Der Weg lohnt sich. Ein Dank von uns

Die fünf Sterne vergeben ich gerne! Sehr gepflegtes Ambiente super freundlich,gute Preise. Wir haben heute Muscheln gegessen. Wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so gute , leckere Muscheln gegessen. Wir werden jetzt öfter dort Essen gehen.

Essen ist ok es schmeckt, habe auf Campingplätzen schon ganz anderes gehabt. Das Preisleistung stimmt . Der Service ist top, würde ich wieder kommen ja , habe mich da wohlgefühlt.
