The food was simply amazing. The meat was fantastic. But I could have bathed in the fried potatoes. We were warmly welcomed and received excellent service with our Rottweiler.

We were a group and had reserved a table in the side room. The service was very good and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, the ambiance didn't appeal to me. It was rather bare and therefore a bit uncomfortable.

We had Croatian food here – and honestly: I've never been so impressed! From the very first moment, everything was just perfect. The service was super attentive, yet pleasantly relaxed, and with just the right remark at the right time – we immediately felt welcome. The food tasted absolutely amazing – everything fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The portions were just right – you'll leave feeling full, but not overwhelmed. And all of this at prices that make you think twice – in a good way! We'll definitely be back – and this time not in a few months 😉

I drove here specifically to try the food – unfortunately, to no avail. They don't accept card payments here, only cash! In the age of 2025, that's simply not up to date. I was very hungry and couldn't eat anything because there's no card machine. Very disappointing and a real shame – that's how you lose customers.

Super friendly service and delicious food

Maybe it was just a bad Tuesday in general. The restaurant seems to have remained unchanged in 35 years. The decor is simple, and so is the ambiance. With a sunny 24°C, there are no outdoor seating areas, and the large dining room was unbearably hot. Around 6 p.m., some windows were fully opened, and then the curtains were tied together, making it truly uncomfortable. It looked as if the windows were about to be cleaned—a shame. The food before that was also so-so. The meat (Wiener Schnitzel) was okay, the fries were dry, the rice lacked flavor, and the salad had some kind of light dressing on it. The beer, however, was fresh and well-tapped! The service was attentive and tried to be funny. To me, it seemed forced. But as I said, maybe just bad luck, because there are many regulars who seem quite satisfied and also give the restaurant very good reviews. Regarding my review of this afternoon, I should also add that everything was very clean. Unfortunately/nevertheless, I won't be going there again for the time being.

Super delicious food and great service

Simply fantastic, especially the service, which is rare these days, very friendly and attentive waiter, delicious food and the Staropramen beer is highly recommended, all in all a successful evening, I can only recommend it to everyone

Child-friendliness on the phone is hard to beat. I called to ask if they had a regular schnitzel on the menu. You can't find any online. He answered very friendly at first and, when I asked if they had it on the menu, said "yes," but then he just hung up. WHY??? I wanted to come for dinner. It's a shame, really. But hey, keep it up 💪🏻

We went out for another delicious meal tonight for our wedding anniversary. As always, it's wonderful to be greeted so warmly. The portions are generous, and there's a huge selection. I really can't recommend it, as I might not get a seat next time.

The food came quickly and was between okay and good. The service was very good and child-friendly. The restaurant is cozy and clean, but unfortunately a bit worn. The view is nice.

We had a wonderful family celebration in the restaurant. From the room we were allowed to use, we had a fantastic view of the Hufeisensiedlung (horseshoe settlement). The food was very good, and all the guests were very satisfied. Both the vegetarian and meat dishes were delicious. The room was perfect for 30 people. The staff was very friendly. With your own decorations, you can decorate the room beautifully, although the floor is unfortunately stained and the ambiance seems a bit dated. All in all, we were very satisfied! We would gladly go again.

Always worth a visit. The food here is excellent, we have been eating at the restaurant for many decades and can only recommend it. Large portions await you here and there is something for everyone. Until the next visit.

The tastiest Croatian restaurant in Berlin.

Beautiful Croatian restaurant located at the horseshoe pond in Britz. You can find plenty of choice and tasty dishes here. If you get a little hungry while looking at the horseshoe settlement, you can get your fill here in the restaurant of the same name. Prices are normal for this portion size.

It's been a few years since I was last there. It is still a restaurant with a focus on Croatian/Balkan cuisine. I ordered Calamari Dalmatia with fried potatoes and spinach. The calamari had been on the pan or grill for too long. In any case, I had to leave some of it behind. The spinach didn't taste like anything at all, but that could also be due to my cold. The fried potatoes were okay.

Marathon an Qualität und Leistung Meine Mutter ist 84 jahre alt und ich besuche sie Woche für Woche. Dann ist es uns beiden schon seit Jahren eine Freude, im Restaurant Hufeisen zu essen. Ich weiß gar nicht, wie lange wir das bereits machen, aber das Essen ist einfach gut. Es ist ein Marathon an Qualität und Leistung, über all die Jahre hinweg auf so wunderbar bewährte Weise. Great cuisine and great value for money, service with charm, polite and nice of a special kind. There are also snaps at the end here if you give trick money. Good old school. The interior decor is a bit old baking. If you like meat you will come back again and again.

Unfortunately the food had little taste.

We had dinner there on a Saturday in Advent and got a table at short notice thanks to a very nice waiter. Thanks for that. As always, the food was very good and the meat was well fried (not too dry). We were completely satisfied. Drinks and service were very good 👍

Wir haben hier erst die Mitgliederversammlung und dann die Gesamtvorstandssitzung unseres kleinen Vereins ausgerichtet, dazwischen gab's das leckere Essen aus der kroatischen Küche. Das nette und aufmerksame Personal hat uns sowohl bei den Veranstaltungen als auch beim gemeinsamen Mittagessen bestens betreut - und obendrein konnten wir den beeindruckenden Ausblich auf die berühmte Hufeisensiedlung von Bruno Taut (UNESCO-Welterbe) genießen.

Yesterday here for the first time. It tasted great. Ambiance is also very good. Service could be improved at the beginning, the boss was alone in the restaurant, later very good, relaxed and competent. Rundherum ein gutes Restaurant mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern.

Since I was looking for a Yugoslavian restaurant where I wanted to celebrate an anniversary with a lot of people soon, I went to this restaurant with my parents in advance to get an impression of the ambience and taste of the food. My sobering conclusion: the salad dressing from the starter salad was a bit very salty, but I would have liked more of this salt instead in the dishes, which unfortunately were hardly seasoned. I also find a dish for 17 euros, without a side dish such as fries or rice, to be a bit expensive. The fries then had to be ordered separately. To quench my thirst, I ordered a barrel soda, which tasted completely “musty” afterwards. When I told the waiter this, he argued with me that the barrel brew came from a barrel and that's why it tasted like that. He even poured a small sip into a new glass and said, slightly upset and a little louder, “try it!”. Yes, it also tasted musty, I've never experienced that with Fassbrause and I didn't want it to make me sick. He didn't offer to exchange the drink on his own initiative, guest-oriented service looks different. Only when he was told to please take the glass back and bring a Coke instead did he do so reluctantly. Luckily another waiter came along who was a lot friendlier and tried harder. Nevertheless, this visit won't be a repeat event for me, because I want to relax in the restaurant and not get upset about bad service, and the food really wasn't a revelation for me, I've eaten better at a sausage stand. The ambience didn't really appeal to me either and reminded me more of a coffee trip for seniors.

Delicious Croatian food, the price-performance ratio is still good here. I ordered the grill mix platter which was served very hot and beautifully presented.👍 In a small pot, onions were dressed with chili/peppers, which were very spicy but went well with the grill plate.🔥 An absolute recommendation from my side, try it and you'll feel it😋 Unfortunately, the outside atmosphere of the restaurant is a disaster, something should be done here so that the ambience matches the food. Also worth mentioning is the very attentive cellar. People go and support the gastronomy, there is delicious Croatian food.🍻🍽️

"Our Yugoslavian" for almost 20 years. Even outside the usual range "Cevapcici & Co." very tasty dishes. Very pleasant, rustic atmosphere, especially cozy in winter. An extra party room is available.

Yes, hello, After a year I can write a rezi. Get something to eat here every now and then, always Cevapcici plates, you can eat. Definitely. But it doesn't have much to do with good, grilled and juicy, tasty cevapcici like in Croatia. ^^ could definitely be much better, I would be happy😬 The rice is also a bit bland but fills you up.😄 I've never actually sat in there, so I don't know much about the service, but I always get a little schnapps when I come. And the boys are nice too.

Was there again to watch football. Very nice hosts, nice guests.

I've enjoyed going here for years. But that has definitely been resolved since Saturday: - Chop dry fried. - Goulash soup tasted like nothing but water (the waiter also admitted and it was taken off the bill). The baguette served with it was like rubber. - I asked for shrimp as a side dish, and a skewer consisting of 5 shrimp and 7 ready-made croquettes was promptly brought to me for 20.50 euros. Unfortunately, I understand something different by supplement. - The croquettes tasted sour. So we couldn't eat them. - Rancid garlic oil was also provided for 2.50 euros. - The hot onions also smelled extremely rancid. - And there was an intrusive attempt to sell my partner, who is obviously super slim, a big plate of robbers. During the night I started having stomach pains that lasted until this evening. I had to use the toilet more often. Thanks for the stomach ache I still have to this day and thanks for the rip off. Never again! Edit from my partner: We were put under pressure because it meant that the kitchen wanted to close. And they tried to sell the most expensive one.

What I still don't understand is why I got my starter together with the main course & not before but otherwise the food was very good 😀😀😀 Yesterday on February 10th, 2024 we were in the restaurant for the second time and again it wasn't the ultimate. There were 14 dishes served, all served at the same time, which means that the food that was finished first was between lukewarm and cold, which isn't really that tasty with rice and chips. What I also found strange was that I ordered a schnapps after dinner and was told I would take care of it later. Later my father got a second wheat beer even though he hadn't ordered it🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Angerufen Tisch für 5 Leute reserviert,gefragt ob wir Essen vorbestellen müssen..Nein wurde uns gesagt..Am 26.12.2023 14 Uhr,waren wir dort,Getränke bestellt,Weihnachtsessenkarte bekommen.WOLLTEN GÄNSEKEULEN,HIRSCHBRATEN...NICHTS ABER AUCH GAR NICHTS WAS AUF DER WEIHNACHTSKARTE STAND WAR MEHR VORHANDEN..TJA HÄTTEN SIE AM TELEFON BESTELLEN MÜSSEN....WIR WAREN SO SAUER.HÄTTE DER KELLNER AUCH VORHER,BEVOR WIR GETRÄNKE BESTELLT HATTEN,SAGEN KÖNNEN.DANN WÄREN WIR WOANDERS ESSEN GEGANGEN. So macht man auch Geschäfte.UNMÖGLICH!! WIR SUCHEN UNS EIN ANDERES RESTAURANTE.
