Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. After 20 minutes the menus were brought, after more than an hour the main course with cold fries... the sauce tasted like a packet sauce. The restaurant is quaint and extraordinary.

Was very tasty. Food was plentiful. We were just there a little early. So the room wasn't fully heated yet. It was a little cool.

I've been here several times and I've always found it good. But now it was almost a complete failure. Tarte flambée baked with cheese (unusual), okay, it was on the menu, but it completely covered up the flavor of the tarte flambée. The taste of the schnitzel was okay, the mushroom sauce was also delicious, but much too thick for a schnitzel. Therefore very difficult to chew. We were initially excited about the rump steak because we ate from the edge. In the middle it became more and more difficult to eat because it didn't get enough heat and was raw (we ordered medium). Unfortunately there are a lot of tendons running through the middle. Fried potatoes were just chips, not really fried, but fried. They no longer had the consistency of fried potatoes. Positive: The dishes were all very large. Service was attentive and friendly, but also not. In the meantime, we weren't asked whether we could have anything else, whether everything was okay, and when we paid we weren't asked whether it was tasty. So now all I have to do is write this not so good review.

A very quaint, cozy restaurant. There were four of us eating a whole goose. Everything was ready on time at the reserved time. The goose looked very tasty and was cut up at the table. The points of criticism are as follows. Plates were brought to the table for the parts of the goose. The plates were ice cold. I asked for these to be warmed up. That was done, but they still weren't really warm. The side dishes and the remains of the goose remained on the table, but without anything like a warming plate. Everything was cold very soon. The service here needs to be significantly better. Otherwise all the employees were very nice.

Quaint restaurant. We were more than impressed by both the nice service and the quality of the food! Rump steak was fried to perfection and the side dishes were also very tasty! (really good side salad!) Clean sanitary facilities, enough parking spaces and also a nice courtyard to sit in summer. What should be emphasized is the extreme child-friendliness! The price-performance ratio is definitely right here!

The inn is beautifully located and perfect for cyclists on bike tours. The waiters are very friendly 👍 To eat: I had a Wienerschnitzel with fries. The fries were legendarily delicious, beautifully seasoned and gutter shaped. The schnitzel was more of a no. It was tasty but nothing more… Nevertheless, I recommend it to anyone who wants a beer or is hungry. ‼️‼️ATTENTION: Portions are enough for one ox‼️‼️

Very nice atmosphere and great food. It's not quite enough for a 5 star rating. The schnitzel was good and definitely recommended, but not a huge specialty. The Kaiserschmarrn that we ordered afterwards is not like what you might be familiar with in the typical regions. We'll still come back and try out more dishes and of course desserts

Schnitzel tot, Service Katastrophe, Wartezeit zu lang, Tische verdreckt. . Mehr gibt es zum Heurigen nicht zu sagen. Weiß nicht was da passiert ist, früher war es mal eine gute Adresse . Wir reden hier nicht über Sterneküche sondern über ein normales Schnitzel was die nicht hinbekommen. Generell alles lieblos angerichtet. Für uns war es das letzte mal.

We were there for the first time today, but certainly not the last time. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The service was top and the prices were absolutely right. If you're looking for a chic restaurant, you've definitely come to the wrong place. But if you like hearty food and very decent portions in a rustic atmosphere, this is the place for you

The food was good and the portions were good too. The atmosphere is rustic and a bit dingy. The glasses could be cleaner 😉. The girls at the service are very friendly. But the male waitress was neither understanding nor particularly friendly. The gentleman urgently needs proper instruction in dealing with guests 😡. Not to let guests finish and to say several times “this affects me peripherally” doesn't work at all!!!!

So first of all, to the kitchen, you should use spices. I had it today for the first time and the schnitzel didn't taste like anything. The sauce itself wasn't bad, but for a good mouthfeel, the components should taste independent of each other, the salad was already brown at the tips and You don't want to serve something like that to a guest. When you look at the fried potatoes you can immediately tell that they have already been pre-cut from the bag and are clearly made in the deep fryer. The thickness of the fried potatoes would be suitable for a potato salad but not for fried potatoes. The nicest and most delicious thing about my schnitzel was the garnish and only the tomato slice. The service staff is pretty dry and hardly has any conversation with the guests as is usual in a good restaurant. Anyone who gives this 5 stars has no sense of taste.

Graunehafter service. Unmöglichen un shr unfreundliches personal. Wir wollten mehrfach essen bestellen da kam keiner. Dann haben wir fast 1,5 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet. Für die Getränkebestellung zum aufnehmen dauert es ca. 20 Minuten. Die Getränke selbst kommen dann etwa 30 Minuten danach. Wenn man nachfragt bekommt man absolut bodenlose und unverschämte Antworten. Falls man mixht genügend adäquates Personal hat muss man halt weniger Tische öffnen. Absolut nicht zum empfehlen für uns als Gruppe von 12 Personen nicht empfehlenswert. Absolut grauenhaft.

Cozy restaurant, rustic food, good and tasty, the waiter is in a good mood. We had a fun evening. If you had now tried to stop these mosquitoes a little with the help of citronella, lavender, basil and mint, it would have been perfect. If you plan to go on holiday near former flood areas this year, you should stock up very well. All the resources on site were almost sold out. But no one there can do anything about it. They suffer the most because they can't leave.

It's a nice opportunity to take in some food. Far from luxurious, not really professional service, but friendly, the menu is not very extensive, but the food served is tasty and therefore easy to eat. And maybe? Are you having a great time in that special atmosphere? A top tent for people who can see through some imperfections! @

SUPER ESSEN! Freundlich Bedinung! Schnitzel war SUPER .Ausser die Salat-war viel wasser noch drin,haben die nichts getrocken nach die war gewaschen. Schnitzel große Portion,pommes waren auch gut. Good food,big-not huge-but big portions.Salad was watery,terrible.

So when I read some of the comments here I can only shake my head. Yesterday we were there for the first time with a class group. Everything was tasty and the service was very friendly. My husband was thrilled with the 1/2 chicken. The rum steak tasted really delicious. The only thing I don't like is when you don't eat pork, you can only eat something if you order it in advance. I think it would be great if some dishes with beef/veal or poultry were permanently available in the range. So you could also go there spontaneously. Thanks again for the good service. Will definitely come back. There are enough parking spaces there without parking fees of course.

Great service and very tasty food

Meine Frau und ich waren am 23.06.2024 mittags zu Gast im Restaurant "zum Heurigen". Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient, das Essen war ausgezeichnet, meine Frau hatte ein Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen und ich einen ganz zarten Schweinebraten mit Klösen. Beide Gerichte waren geschmacklich einwandfrei. Wir werden künftig öfter dorthin gehen, zumal das Ambiente uns zudem sehr zusagte.

The food was mediocre at best. The service was terribly bad. Rude, erratic, annoyed and the grubby, laminated menus were simply thrown onto our table from a distance. The atmosphere in the barn was fine. Some of the chairs are already very old, very worn and uncomfortable because they are worn out. At first glance, the inner courtyard is quite nice and inviting, but everything (including the area around the building) seems quite dingy. It's a shame actually. There could certainly be more.

Very nice atmosphere, it's great to sit in the inner courtyard. Nice service, food incredibly tasty. Highly recommended are the schnitzel, fries and the daily menu included wonderful suckling pig and a delicious hand cheese salad.

The location is a bit hidden if you come by car. The first impression of the building is not really inviting (a bit unkempt). The courtyard is very nice, but we were inside. Everything there is getting old and not really maintained (cobwebs everywhere). The service is on point and very friendly 👍. The food was "OK".. Hawaiian carving with fried potatoes. A good opportunity for cyclists to recharge their batteries.

We were in the restaurant for the first time and were very satisfied. The schnitzels were delicious and I can only recommend the Pinot Gris. The location might take some getting used to but since the service was also good, we will definitely come back.

There I chewed a schnitzel the size of half a toilet seat with boiled ham, pineapple and boiled cheese, and I was handed small gutters flavored with fries. It was delicious and almost impossible to make.

Uriges, gemütliches Restaurant mit leckeren rustikalen Speisen. Humane Preise, super nettes Personal. Wir kamen durch Zufall hier vorbei und waren sehr angetan. Tolles Ambiente, richtig urig alt und gemütlich mit Kaminfeuer etc. Werden trotz 130km Entfernung definitiv irgendwann nochmal kommen.

We picked up food with the Schlemmerblock today. Very good portion. Don't skimp on the chanterelles. Unfortunately a little bit salty for our taste.

Very nice, furnished like an alpine hut, you will be welcomed politely and nicely. The tables are lovingly prepared. The menu is not that overloaded. The food tasted very good, so I took the rest of it with me to enjoy at home. We will be very happy to come back.

Contrary to what I was told before, the food there was very tasty. We were there as part of a Christmas party and everyone was served very friendly. The food was served to everyone at the same time, which has to be well timed for a party of 30 - 40 people. I had a schnitzel with wild mushrooms and fries + side salad, which was all really tasty and well prepared. But the rump steak or tarte flambée from the neighbors not only looked very tasty, but was also confirmed to be so. The prices are also completely okay, we were charged just under 50 euros for 2 x schnitzel + salad and a drink each, which was completely justified. The atmosphere is very rustic but nice and the fireplace made it pleasant and cozy. At the time we were there there was flooding, which meant the parking lot at the building was inaccessible and access was only accessible via the dam. There was parking on a nearby side street and it wasn't more than a 5 minute walk. All in all a very nice evening.

Beautiful, rustic location and delicious food. The second building means you can easily eat or celebrate with 40 people! A bit complicated with the service with so many people, not quite as professional, but otherwise a must to eat there :)

Ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Restaurant im Grünen. Der große Innenhof lädt im Sommer zum draußen sitzen ein. Keine EC/Visa Karten Zahlung möglich. Parkplätze sind reichlich direkt am Restaurant.

Das Essen war lecker und der Service war freundlich. Allerdings akzeptiert das Restaurant keine Kartenzahlung. Das ist für mich ein wichtiges Kriterium, da ich nicht extra zum Bankautomaten laufen möchte, wenn ich nur etwas Essen gehen möchte.

Wir haben heute vom Angebot für Gänseschenkel mit Bruststück Rotkohl und dazu Klösse Gebrauch gemacht. Wir waren absolut begeistert, das hat geschmeckt wie bei Muttern (und die konnte das sehr gut) und das alles zu einem unschlagbar günstigen Preis, sehr lobenswert ist auch der freundliche Empfang von Nico der das ganze super organisiert, wir werden in nächster Zeit uns sehr gerne wieder in der sehr originellen Gaststätte einfinden. Uns bleibt nur noch der Wunsch, weiter so.

Das Essen, besonders das Schnitzel, war sehr lecker. Der Herr, der uns bediente, war etwas schroff und wirkte gestresst.

Wir waren heute zum ersten mal hier, und sicherlich nicht das letzte mal. Urgemütliche Gaststube, super freundlicher Service. Ich hatte Rumpsteak mit Pommes und Zwiebel. Rumpsteak war auf den Punkt komplett Medium gebraten, sehr leckerer Geschmack, und eine riesen Portion. Preis Leistung Top.

Essen ist handfest und richtig gut. Bin Fleischesser und bin begeistert. Ambiente durch das uralte Gebäude ist speziell aber für mich sehr liebevoll in Szene gesetzt. Guter Service sollte auch erwähnt werden.

Coole urige Gastwirtschaft. Das Personal war super nett und hat immer einen lustigen Spruch auf den Lippen. Das Essen kam schnell und war frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Hier kann man perfekt den Abend verbringen draußen im großen Biergarten oder drin.

Besuch vom 25.03.2022 Wir besuchten zu 4. das Restaurant an einem Freitagabend. Trotz voller Hütte und keiner Reservierung durch uns, machte man es möglich und bot uns einen Platz an. Ausgezeichnetes Ambiente, wie auf einer Almhütte. Service von beiden anwesenden Kellner:innen war super. Sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen kam überraschend schnell und war wirklich sehr lecker. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, würden wir definitiv wieder kommen. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert.

While visiting friends we went twice for dinner and the food was first class our 2nd visit was steak night (Friday) the rump steak was excellent easily the best steak I've ever had. I would highly recommend, the service was very good the young guy waiting on tables was friendly and worked hard. It's off the beaten track but we'll worth finding. We will visit again when we come back next year.

Sympathisch, authentisch - perfektes Ziel für eine ausgiebige Radtour am Rhein entlang. Gemütlicher Biergarten im Innenhof, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, denn der Kaiser-Schmarrn muss noch probiert werden!

Uriges gemütliches Lokal mit sehr freundlichem und aufmerksamen Service. Die Küche würde ich als üppig und rustikal beschreiben. Keine Gourmet Küche, aber gutes bodenständiges Imbiss Niveau. Sehr enttäuscht waren wir allerdings von dem Kaiserschmarrn. Bei einem Lokal unter österreichischer Führung hätten wir hier deutlich mehr erwartet. Stattdessen kamen lauwarme, trockene und exakt gewürfelte Teigstücke (ohne Rosinen) daher. Ich vermute aus der Tüte. Leider der schlechteste Kaiserschmarrn, den wir je gegessen haben. Schade! Wir werden aber wiederkommen, wahrscheinlich im Sommer mit dem Fahrrad.

Normalerweise gehen wir immer nur im Sommer zum Heurigen, weil es ein schönes Ausflugslokal mit guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist. Nun haben wir es im Winter besucht und waren leider mit dem Essen nicht zufrieden. Die Schnitzel waren hart und lasch gewürzt und die Paprikasoße war nicht frisch ( Paprika aus dem Glas und Ketchup als Soße ?). Der Salat war zum Glück sehr lecker wie gewohnt, aber leider schwer zu essen auf einem flachen Dessertteller. Bei dem Nachtisch "heiße Liebe" war leider nix heiß...die Himbeeren waren kalt. Sehr schade, wir werden es wohl erst wieder im Sommer probieren.

Etwas dunkler Innenraum, einladende Gartenbewirtung, insgesamt sauber, aufmerksamer, netter Sevice. Essen (Hausmannskost) ist gut zubereitet, lecker, Preise eher günstig, wechselnde Tageskarte mit schöner Abwechslung. Gerne wieder!

Wir waren zum Sonntag Abend hier, der Innenhof ist klein aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet....beim Essen gibt es nicht die riesen Auswahl aber es reicht...nette Bedienung. Das einzigste negative ist das man nur Cash zahlen kann.

Ein wirklich sehr uriges und wie wir finden gemütliches Lokal, besonders im Winter mit dem offenen Kamin, toll. Die Bedienung war super nett und auf zack. Hatten Schnitzel das war leider alles andere als lecker, sehr hart und fest, ich vermute aus der Fritteuse, Beilagen waren ok. Aber das Schnitzel ist echt ein grund nicht mehr wieder zu kommen, schade. Macht doch das Schnitzel in der Pfanne........

Eine sehr gemütliche Gaststube und bequem mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Man fährt quasi ins Lokal. Preise gut, Bedienung freundlich und schnell. Werden bestimmt noch öfter hin.

Die Location ist sehr besonders, man weiß gar nicht genau wo man in diesen alten Gemäuern als erstes hinschauen soll. Für kalte, dunkle Wintertage die richtige Location aber für meinen Geschmack für die meiste Zeit im Jahr viel zu düster - zumindest als Mittagsrestaurant. Alleine aus diesem Grund würde ich mittags dort nicht mehr Essen gehen. Das Essen war solide. Die Spätzle waren selbst gemacht und schmackhaft aber handwerklich nicht sehr gut, sie waren zu deutlich zu dick. Die Pfifferlingrahmsosse war würzig, aber ich hatte den Eindruck, dass Zuviel Soßenbinder enthalten war, stattdessen hätte ich mir lieber mehr Sahne gewünscht. Die Pommes sahen sehr gut aus (dick geschnitten) aber leider hat das Öl alt geschmeckt. Die Flammkuchen sahen lecker aus, wir hatten allerdings keinen bestellt. Der warme Handkäse war sehr gut. Eine der Bedienungen war sehr herzlich und sympathisch aber sie war leider nicht für uns zuständig. Unsere Bedienung war nach eigenem Angaben neu und wusste weder ob man mit Karte zahlen kann, noch ob die Spätzle selbst gemacht sind, ferner kannte sie nicht alle Gerichte der Karte usw. Sie hat für uns alles nachgefragt, aber leider manchmal erst nach unsere Erinnerung an die Frage. Sie wirkte auch überfordert und war deshalb vielleicht etwas genervt. Etwas erstaunt waren wir, dass man nicht mit EC-Karte zahlen konnte obwohl die Bestellungen per Tablet aufgenommen wurden. Wer so modern ist, sollte doch eigentlich auch Kartenzahlung ermöglichen. Im Winter würde ich trotz vorgenannter Punkte aber dennoch wiederkommen.

Wir waren am 25.02.18 zum Mittagessen. Einmal und nie wieder. Auf der Karte standen 3 Gerichte, verschiedene Schnitzelvarianten,Flammkuchen und Rumpfsteak. Die Bratkartoffeln als Beilage waren ungenießbar, Matsch. Die Speisekarte von der Homepage stimmt nicht mit der in der Kneipe überein. Ganz billiger Bauernfang.

Eine Location die man gesehen haben muss , urige Ausstattung bis ins Detail , Essen sehr gut im guten Preis...
