Very good food, somewhat remote, but in beautiful natural surroundings

I've been there twice in the past two weeks. The staff is very friendly and you immediately feel like you're visiting friends. The food is absolutely delicious; I'll be going back. It's a shame they're closing soon. 😔

The beer garden is truly cozy and inviting. No matter what you choose from the menu, everything is delicious and almost impossible to finish. The service is very friendly and personable; all in all, highly recommended.

The service is great (the young man), schnitzels always taste great, but the fried potatoes could be warmer; it's best to make a reservation in advance.

We were here with the Schlemmerblock (a group of gourmets), had a reservation, and were able to choose a table outside. The drinks and food arrived in a reasonable time, with a huge portion. We enjoyed it. It's a shame the table hadn't been cleaned by the previous occupant. Parking is available. According to the staff, the restaurant will be closing at the end of October.

The food is really good and the price is good, it's worth it!

Zum Heurigen has a rustic beer garden, though the chairs aren't all that comfortable. The service is excellent, fast, and very friendly. The schnitzels are large, well-breaded, and well-seasoned. The interior is uniquely designed, with a tree in the middle, and is very cozy.

We visited the Heurigen for the first time today, and we really enjoyed it. The food was consistently delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. We've already planned our next visit. Unfortunately, we learned that the Heurigen will be closing in October. That would be a real shame. We just thought we'd found a new place to visit. But until then, I definitely recommend it, and maybe we'll continue to go. The value for money was excellent.

There I chewed a schnitzel the size of half a toilet seat with boiled ham, pineapple and boiled cheese, and I was handed small gutters flavored with fries. It was delicious and almost impossible to make.

Side salads, vinegar and water, lacked flavor. Schnitzel and fried potatoes from the deep fryer. Canned aspic, cut open, without any dressing. Overall, not recommended; you'll go there once and then never again. What surprised me was that all the tables were reserved.

Today, five of us were there for the first time—and unfortunately, also the last time. I found the atmosphere in the courtyard to be quaint and cozy. Menus were brought to us immediately, and then we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to order our drinks. We were all looking forward to the schnitzel, which was also homemade (not frozen) and delicious. But... the sauces that came with it tasted extremely like pre-made sauces from a packet. The side dishes, in particular the French fries, were so overcooked that you just got a crunchy bite out of your mouth. The waitress even advised us not to try the fried potatoes. We won't be coming back.

Quaint ambiance, fast, friendly service. We had three different schnitzels – the schnitzel and fries were great, but the sauces... sticky, way too thick, and clearly made from gravy powder. A shame. Otherwise, great value for money.

Great food, but unfortunately, the doors are supposed to close forever in October. Save the Heuriger!!

The landlord was unfriendly. The beer was warm and still. The food was good.

Really good food, we spontaneously reserved a table for two people. The restaurant was busy, but there was still room for two. We sat outside. The service was super friendly, and we didn't have to wait long. I can recommend it to everyone. But it's best to call ahead. We'll be back.

Quaint pub with good food. Not exactly what you'd expect. A lovely destination for a bike ride. We'd definitely love to come back.

Cozy beer garden and delicious food at fair prices. We had a pleasant and fun evening here and can especially recommend the schnitzel Saturday. Unfortunately, the Kaiserschmarren doesn't live up to five stars. There are ample bicycle parking spaces.

We've been regulars at "Zum Heurigen" for a few years now – and we're always impressed! You get the feeling that the quality has even improved over the years. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and prepared with love. The value for money is absolutely spot on. I'd particularly like to emphasize the exceptional friendliness of the staff – you feel completely welcome. Wait times are also pleasantly short, even when it's busy. No matter what you order, it's always delicious. 5 stars + – absolute recommendation!

The food was good, but the service was poor. The waitress cleaned the table, and crumbs from the previous person's meal were spread all over my girlfriend's clothes. The pepper shaker wasn't sealed, and so the lid and two tablespoons of pepper spilled onto the salad. When we complained, they explained why we weren't paying attention; it wasn't the staff's job to check.

Friendly and above all capable waitresses, large, tasty portions and a nice place to linger... Also ideal for cyclists, as it is located directly behind the dike on the cycle path.

A very nice Rdstaurant with a long history. Remotely located on the Bleiau with plenty of parking spaces. Unfortunately, the restaurant and the garden are not barrier-free. The food is very tasty and rich. The service was friendly and attentive. The guest room impresses with the tiled stove, which gives this room a rustic feel. The low ceiling and the angled room design add a lot to the comfort and lingering. I can honestly recommend it. Reservation strongly recommended

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. After 20 minutes the menus were brought, after more than an hour the main course with cold fries... the sauce tasted like a packet sauce. The restaurant is quaint and extraordinary.

Was very tasty. Food was plentiful. We were just there a little early. So the room wasn't fully heated yet. It was a little cool.

I've been here several times and I've always found it good. But now it was almost a complete failure. Tarte flambée baked with cheese (unusual), okay, it was on the menu, but it completely covered up the flavor of the tarte flambée. The taste of the schnitzel was okay, the mushroom sauce was also delicious, but much too thick for a schnitzel. Therefore very difficult to chew. We were initially excited about the rump steak because we ate from the edge. In the middle it became more and more difficult to eat because it didn't get enough heat and was raw (we ordered medium). Unfortunately there are a lot of tendons running through the middle. Fried potatoes were just chips, not really fried, but fried. They no longer had the consistency of fried potatoes. Positive: The dishes were all very large. Service was attentive and friendly, but also not. In the meantime, we weren't asked whether we could have anything else, whether everything was okay, and when we paid we weren't asked whether it was tasty. So now all I have to do is write this not so good review.

A very quaint, cozy restaurant. There were four of us eating a whole goose. Everything was ready on time at the reserved time. The goose looked very tasty and was cut up at the table. The points of criticism are as follows. Plates were brought to the table for the parts of the goose. The plates were ice cold. I asked for these to be warmed up. That was done, but they still weren't really warm. The side dishes and the remains of the goose remained on the table, but without anything like a warming plate. Everything was cold very soon. The service here needs to be significantly better. Otherwise all the employees were very nice.

Quaint restaurant. We were more than impressed by both the nice service and the quality of the food! Rump steak was fried to perfection and the side dishes were also very tasty! (really good side salad!) Clean sanitary facilities, enough parking spaces and also a nice courtyard to sit in summer. What should be emphasized is the extreme child-friendliness! The price-performance ratio is definitely right here!

The inn is beautifully located and perfect for cyclists on bike tours. The waiters are very friendly 👍 To eat: I had a Wienerschnitzel with fries. The fries were legendarily delicious, beautifully seasoned and gutter shaped. The schnitzel was more of a no. It was tasty but nothing more… Nevertheless, I recommend it to anyone who wants a beer or is hungry. ‼️‼️ATTENTION: Portions are enough for one ox‼️‼️

Very nice atmosphere and great food. It's not quite enough for a 5 star rating. The schnitzel was good and definitely recommended, but not a huge specialty. The Kaiserschmarrn that we ordered afterwards is not like what you might be familiar with in the typical regions. We'll still come back and try out more dishes and of course desserts

Schnitzel tot, Service Katastrophe, Wartezeit zu lang, Tische verdreckt. . Mehr gibt es zum Heurigen nicht zu sagen. Weiß nicht was da passiert ist, früher war es mal eine gute Adresse . Wir reden hier nicht über Sterneküche sondern über ein normales Schnitzel was die nicht hinbekommen. Generell alles lieblos angerichtet. Für uns war es das letzte mal.

If you're looking for a chic restaurant, you've definitely come to the wrong place. But if you like hearty food and very decent portions in a rustic atmosphere, this is the place for you

The food was good and the portions were good too. The atmosphere is rustic and a bit dingy. The glasses could be cleaner 😉. The girls at the service are very friendly. But the male waitress was neither understanding nor particularly friendly. The gentleman urgently needs proper instruction in dealing with guests 😡. Not to let guests finish and to say several times “this affects me peripherally” doesn't work at all!!!!

So first of all, to the kitchen, you should use spices. I had it today for the first time and the schnitzel didn't taste like anything. The sauce itself wasn't bad, but for a good mouthfeel, the components should taste independent of each other, the salad was already brown at the tips and You don't want to serve something like that to a guest. When you look at the fried potatoes you can immediately tell that they have already been pre-cut from the bag and are clearly made in the deep fryer. The thickness of the fried potatoes would be suitable for a potato salad but not for fried potatoes. The nicest and most delicious thing about my schnitzel was the garnish and only the tomato slice. The service staff is pretty dry and hardly has any conversation with the guests as is usual in a good restaurant. Anyone who gives this 5 stars has no sense of taste.

Graunehafter service. Unmöglichen un shr unfreundliches personal. Wir wollten mehrfach essen bestellen da kam keiner. Dann haben wir fast 1,5 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet. Für die Getränkebestellung zum aufnehmen dauert es ca. 20 Minuten. Die Getränke selbst kommen dann etwa 30 Minuten danach. Wenn man nachfragt bekommt man absolut bodenlose und unverschämte Antworten. Falls man mixht genügend adäquates Personal hat muss man halt weniger Tische öffnen. Absolut nicht zum empfehlen für uns als Gruppe von 12 Personen nicht empfehlenswert. Absolut grauenhaft.

Cozy restaurant, rustic food, good and tasty, the waiter is in a good mood. We had a fun evening. If you had now tried to stop these mosquitoes a little with the help of citronella, lavender, basil and mint, it would have been perfect. If you plan to go on holiday near former flood areas this year, you should stock up very well. All the resources on site were almost sold out. But no one there can do anything about it. They suffer the most because they can't leave.

It's a nice opportunity to take in some food. Far from luxurious, not really professional service, but friendly, the menu is not very extensive, but the food served is tasty and therefore easy to eat. And maybe? SUPER ESSEN! Freundlich Bedinung! Schnitzel war SUPER .Ausser die Salat-war viel wasser noch drin,haben die nichts getrocken nach die war gewaschen. Schnitzel große Portion,pommes waren auch gut. Good food,big-not huge-but big portions.Salad was watery,terrible.

So when I read some of the comments here I can only shake my head. Yesterday we were there for the first time with a class group. Everything was tasty and the service was very friendly. My husband was thrilled with the 1/2 chicken. The rum steak tasted really delicious. The only thing I don't like is when you don't eat pork, you can only eat something if you order it in advance. I think it would be great if some dishes with beef/veal or poultry were permanently available in the range. So you could also go there spontaneously. Thanks again for the good service. Will definitely come back. There are enough parking spaces there without parking fees of course.

Meine Frau und ich waren am 23.06.2024 mittags zu Gast im Restaurant "zum Heurigen". Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient, das Essen war ausgezeichnet, meine Frau hatte ein Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen und ich einen ganz zarten Schweinebraten mit Klösen. Beide Gerichte waren geschmacklich einwandfrei. Wir werden künftig öfter dorthin gehen, zumal das Ambiente uns zudem sehr zusagte.

The food was mediocre at best. The service was terribly bad. Rude, erratic, annoyed and the grubby, laminated menus were simply thrown onto our table from a distance. The atmosphere in the barn was fine. Some of the chairs are already very old, very worn and uncomfortable because they are worn out. At first glance, the inner courtyard is quite nice and inviting, but everything (including the area around the building) seems quite dingy. It's a shame actually. There could certainly be more.

Very nice atmosphere, it's great to sit in the inner courtyard. Nice service, food incredibly tasty. Highly recommended are the schnitzel, fries and the daily menu included wonderful suckling pig and a delicious hand cheese salad.

The location is a bit hidden if you come by car. The first impression of the building is not really inviting (a bit unkempt). The courtyard is very nice, but we were inside. Everything there is getting old and not really maintained (cobwebs everywhere). The service is on point and very friendly 👍. The food was "OK".. Hawaiian carving with fried potatoes. A good opportunity for cyclists to recharge their batteries.

We were in the restaurant for the first time and were very satisfied. The schnitzels were delicious and I can only recommend the Pinot Gris. The location might take some getting used to but since the service was also good, we will definitely come back.

Uriges, gemütliches Restaurant mit leckeren rustikalen Speisen. Humane Preise, super nettes Personal. Wir kamen durch Zufall hier vorbei und waren sehr angetan. Tolles Ambiente, richtig urig alt und gemütlich mit Kaminfeuer etc. Werden trotz 130km Entfernung definitiv irgendwann nochmal kommen.

We picked up food with the Schlemmerblock today. Very good portion. Don't skimp on the chanterelles. Unfortunately a little bit salty for our taste.
