Gaststätte und Pension Zur Erholung in Köthen (Anhalt)

We'd love to say it was a great Sunday experience, because we really like brunch. Aside from the fact that we found the time from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to be very tight, it's completely unacceptable that at 11:30 a.m. there wasn't even a buffet available or open yet. We sat at our reserved table for 30 minutes and had to wait for a waiter to order drinks and for the buffet. Sorry, we left the restaurant still hungry, because even a good buffet couldn't have made it any better. If brunch is really going to become a staple at this price, then something absolutely has to change!

A good garden restaurant that's also open to the public. On Sundays, they serve delicious coffee and cake. Parties can also be organized here.

At 2:30 p.m., there's nothing left. Not a single alternative or even a small meal. Perhaps the kitchen was removed at short notice?

The service is good, and the staff is always friendly. What I don't like is that the vegetables are canned, the schnitzel is frozen and only goes into the fryer, and the sauces usually taste like they're made with powder. A few more fresh products would be great.
