Gaststätte Spies in Bad Berleburg

Due to weather and an accident, I was stuck in Bad Berleburg and couldn't get home. With my dog ​​and luggage, public transport was out of the question. In January, a good 80% of all restaurants were closed for their annual break. And rightly so! With four days of being stuck there, no car, and constant snow and ice, it wasn't easy to reach the few restaurants that were open. So I decided to try Da Angela. Apart from the black-dyed olives (these shouldn't be allowed anywhere...), everything was absolutely fantastic! As a vegan, they accommodated my special requests. The pizza was so generously topped that the lack of cheese wasn't even noticeable. I'm not a big pizza fan, but this one was simply amazing! I can't comment on the other dishes. Every member of staff was friendly and attentive, without being pushy. If I'm ever in town again, I'll definitely stop by! Highly recommended!

Very delicious food. We stopped there on our Sunday motorcycle tour. One guest even swapped tables with us. Very friendly staff. We'll go there again.
