The owners should fire the restaurant manager! She has no clue what's going on, coordinates poorly, and hires unqualified friends/acquaintances and staff. Customer focus is a foreign concept to her, and that's how it's conveyed to the service staff. The restaurant could be a gold mine with qualified management, don't the owners notice that?! 🤔

We stopped there for something to eat after a walk. Service was good. The waitress was very friendly. The food arrived quite quickly. They weren't squeamish about the wine either. It was even a bit fuller than 0.2 litres. The food itself was good. Only the sauce for the mushroom schnitzel wasn't good. It was thick and sticky. Maybe they should change the recipe a bit. Otherwise, I can recommend this restaurant. The food itself was good.

First of all, I have to say that the food is very good. However, the service is more than questionable. We had made a reservation with a large group weeks in advance and when we arrived, half of our tables were taken. Only after asking several times were we given the reason that some people had sat at our table and asked if it was reserved for us. Another group had simply stayed longer. Very unprofessional! You have to react to that?! And tell the group that a reservation is already made. A restaurant has to be able to deal with situations like this in advance. We ended up standing in the middle of the path for ages with at least 15 people. We had just finished a long hike, so of course you're looking forward to reaching your destination. On top of that, the staff were very uncooperative and unfriendly. Unfortunately, the beer didn't taste particularly good either. A real shame, especially because the location and ambience are fantastic and you should definitely support restaurants like this.

What a nice place! Next to a small lake, nice terrace or you can sit inside. We had currywurst and flammkuche and both were delicious. Nice cheerful service 😀

We were dissatisfied with the staff's service. Their behavior was criticized. We waited 10-15 minutes to pick up our order. There was even one case where we went to the bar ourselves and told them what we wanted to order each time. And in general, the restaurant is very dirty and unhygienic. The glasses used to serve food are stained, there are cobwebs everywhere, and there are cockroaches everywhere. I was disappointed with this restaurant. I do not recommend it.

It's enough for a cup of coffee on the terrace. We didn't try the coffee, though. My daughters had tarte flambée, and it was delicious. My husband had schnitzel with cream, which tasted okay. I had schnitzel with onions and bacon. The onions weren't fried long enough and had no flavor. The bacon was diced very finely (a little larger than a grain of rice pudding) and a bit bland. Both schnitzels were rather small and lukewarm. The fries were okay, but not enough. Conclusion: The price is overpriced for such small portions. A schnitzel menu costs around €16, and a glass of Coke (500ml) costs just under €7. My recommendation: Pack a picnic and sit by the water and enjoy delicious food from home. Saves a lot of money and hassle.

Food and service were top. The new waiter was very accommodating and the food tasted good. The drinks prices are just quite high for our taste.

Very nice location! Unique for the hinterland. Welcoming and well-kept. Great lakeside terrace. To eat: beautifully presented on the plate. I have to say it! 😍 About the quality: fries delicious! Schnitzel was pretty tough! And salad nicely presented but unfortunately with quite a lot of sunflower oil. Olive oil would definitely be the tastier option and therefore I would give more points for better meat and olive oil. So... I don't want to break anything... Just a few constructive suggestions for improvement. 😉 Service: All the girls are very nice and hardworking. Only in terms of appearance, because you are in the service and on the "presentation plate" of the restaurant, I would pay more attention to looking a little more well-groomed! Like I said... No offense! Just little tips! 🙏

Absolutely no go. We went there with our children after a walk with the ambition of buying coffee and cake. Part of the terrace was cordoned off. A waitress told a mother and child this in an absolutely outrageous way in front of the guests. When she said that this could have been communicated in a more friendly manner, the waitress' response was that she was just stressed. Absolute no go to treat customers like that and justifying the service is rubbish. The mother left the restaurant, rightly so. We ordered 4 drinks and 4 meals. 2 cakes, 1 waffle, 1 ice cream. 'After 1:20 hours we went in to pay. Nobody cared that our food didn't come. No apology or anything like that. Next time we'll look for a suitable restaurant. Waiters are difficult to find, but such behavior does not justify a lack of staff.

Staff is a disaster, walking past the customer 20 times and no reaction at all. Sad for the location. I urgently appeal to the owner to optimize this otherwise no one will come.

We were there for dinner with four people on a Saturday evening. The restaurant wasn't busy, there were maybe 2-3 other tables occupied. We had to wait over half an hour before we even got the menu, let alone something to drink, etc. When the food was at the table, one of the meals was delivered incorrectly. Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm and average in terms of taste. There were three of the service staff on site, very unfriendly and sat at a table and talked to each other and looked at their cell phones instead of serving the guests in the restaurant. Unfortunately, all in all not recommended.

The unfriendly service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Passive aggressive comments when ordering, eternal waiting time until someone came, the owners should replace the staff as quickly as possible.

When you're there, it's always nice, tasty and a good atmosphere, but it's happened several times now that we were there at normal times (7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m.) but the kitchen was already closed the closing times were pushed forward significantly. Annoying when you assume that the times communicated online and on site are the correct ones.

We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary in the Seestübchen. In consultation we were able to choose from the entire menu. We then communicated the desired dishes a few days before our celebration. We thought that was great. The food was very tasty 😋 Everything was served so that we could almost eat together👍🏻 We had nothing to complain about. Very friendly staff ☺️ It was a successful celebration all around 😍 Thank you for that 🙏🏻 Would love to come back.

The view is beautiful, unfortunately that was it. We were there with 10 people, sat down and were sent away again, supposedly everything was reserved. There were at least 10 tables free at this point. I don't want to say that this is due to our origins, but the looks when entering the restaurant spoke for themselves. Even after we said we just wanted a drink and the kids an ice cream. This was also denied. It's a real shame. They could have at least offered a Too Go option

We were led to believe that we would be able to eat some lunch until we were served our drinks. Then we were told that 20 people were coming and we couldn't eat. (Another couple got the same information and left straight away) When we paid for the two drinks to leave, we were told off: You would have gotten something to eat, it would just have taken a while. ... Impossible ... We have been to Seeblick several times in recent years and have always been tolerant, if the order didn't work out right away. But that doesn't work at all. - We were able to have a very good lunch in the “Neue Krone” in Biedenkopf.

Oh dear, the schnitzels you see in the pictures have nothing to do with the ones we got. •The sauce is thick, soggy and not really warm. •The schnitzel had nothing to do with a freshly fried schnitzel. •The salad was fresh, but way too sour. •Only the fries were very good and fried in fresh fat. •Everything inside seemed a bit dingy and unloving, the staff were more than vocal about their dissatisfaction and due to the lack of background music it was impossible to ignore. At least the service staff was very friendly towards us and didn't show any dissatisfaction. We think there was no qualified person in the kitchen. Conclusion: We won't be coming back!!

The ambience is actually very nice. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the staff don't match that at all. We were there with a group. The schnitzels were partially burnt. They were taken back, but so were the newly served schnitzels. The service staff reacted quite rudely to the criticism. Which wasn't the first faux pas. There was no cutlery available for the mushrooms that had been served in advance. A corresponding note was ironed out and the cutlery was only brought a few minutes later. Drink orders also took quite a long time. In general, the service staff was very unfriendly and you didn't feel welcome, especially since the payment was suddenly made 45 minutes before closing. All in all, despite the great ambience, not recommended.

A beautiful restaurant in a great location and ambience, where we have visited very often for many years. The food was very good, but the service staff had no interest and preferred to crochet in the middle of the restaurant and wasn't friendly either. We have never experienced such “service” there. Unfortunately it wasn't very hospitable. Too bad

It's nice to sit on the outdoor seats with a view of the Perfstausee. Unfortunately the service is a disaster. You can count yourself lucky when you finally get served. Many guests who came after us were served long before us! Only when we made our presence known did the service finally arrive after a wait of over half an hour. By the way, this has happened to us here for the second time! ☹️There won't be a third time here. Even if staff is scarce, the staff should have some training to recognize which guests have been waiting for a long time!

We have been visiting the facility for over a dozen years. It's nice and nice. Nice view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Very good coffee! Of course there are dinner dishes and some good beers. I recommend !

The environment is very beautiful and relaxing. The food is delicious when you finally get some. The service is very poor and you always wait a long time. Even for drinks you have to wait at least 20 minutes, even though there isn't much going on.

A joke!!! The first time we wanted to have a lunch buffet. Arrived at 12.15. The buffet was empty except for 2 dried-out slices of meat and some salad. After waiting 1 hour for the refill that was promised to us, we left. We had to pay the full buffet price for this. We don't have it after a long discussion. Last week we wanted to see if anything had changed! Unfortunately not!!!!! Drinking was relatively quick, but after 45 minutes we still hadn't been able to order even though the waitress walked past us three times. Even now we left without food. When we paid, the waitress came over and said she was about to come to our table.

The brunch for €16.90 was a big letdown…. From 10 a.m. onwards we didn't get any direct service despite having reserved a table. At 10:20 a.m. we went to the buffet Had to point out that the rolls were gone and then had to wait another 5-10 minutes until they were refilled. The selection was very clear and unfortunately the fruit (watermelon, honeydew melon, blueberries) was already completely empty. Guests repeatedly pointed out things that were missing (plates, cereal bowls, milk for the cereal). It took a very long time to refill, if it happened at all. Unfortunately we didn't get any coffee because no service came to our table until 12.30 p.m.... We then just went to the counter and paid. We vented our displeasure again. But you could already tell that all the guests didn't think it was ok. Definitely not a recommendation!!!! It's a shame for this great location

Meat is gristly and not cooked through. The few fries are in the sauce with the sieve. Glasses dirty. Empty ice cubes. Cyclist alcohol-free empty. Half the terrace is closed when the weather is nice... I could list more now. Finally do something from the store!!! There are all kinds of ways to earn money! But unfortunately it doesn't work that way!

Super nice location by the lake. I would like to rate the food...if we had gotten some. A drink was served relatively quickly at the table by the waitress who was obviously responsible for the drinks. After a 3/4 hour wait, we asked the employee who was responsible for ordering food if she could order something to eat. We were then informed that she wouldn't be able to take another order for another quarter of an hour, and we would have been informed about that. Unfortunately we weren't... The reason for this would be that guests keep coming unannounced. I didn't know you had to register at the restaurant. Of course, if you don't have a reservation, you run the risk of not getting a free table. But the place was three quarters full. Sorry, but if the staff is short and overworked, perhaps it would be enough to have fewer tables. This leaves a stale aftertaste.

There's been a mega offer recently! €13.90 for the schnitzel with side dishes and a cola. We've been there twice now and were so impressed! The decor is beautiful, the waitresses are very friendly, the food is beautifully prepared and last but not least, it tastes really good and is not a waste!!!

We were there on a Sunday lunchtime. It was moderately busy. The service was a complete disaster. Rarely experienced something like this. The tables around us were also extremely upset. The staff was totally overwhelmed.

Actually really nice there. However, dogs don't seem to be very welcome on the very large terrace. When we asked for a bowl of water for the dogs, we were told it had been lost. Already the 2nd time this year. There is no other option. It's a shame, since it's by the lake, where dog owners go for walks with their furry friends in summer and winter.

Unfortunately the asparagus soup was completely over salted and not a piece of asparagus could be found. We would have expected more for the price. The still water we ordered was first carbonated. The EC device was so outdated that it only worked after the 5th attempt and a restart. The only positive thing was the great view of the lake.

Despite the crazy pace, all the employees were super friendly, moved as quickly as possible and made a huge effort to make all customers happy. Our food came quite quickly, tasted very good and the view was simply balm for the soul in the beautiful weather. It was a pleasure.

Great local with a good map. Tasty non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and excellent prices for the dishes. Moreover, you can take a lovely walk around the reservoir before having something to eat with your guest. Highly recommended. The wait staff was a bit clumsy. Maybe inexperienced? Everything turned out well and we had a great time. We were surprised to see so many cars in the parking lot that day.

Second chance not taken. The restaurant is really nice and some people can learn a thing or two from the service. It's a shame that it looks completely different when eating. For example, as a starter I had the grilled shepherd's cheese with honey and walnuts for €9.50, which was served as small cubes. In my opinion, a pack of Patros natural mini cubes was used here, as these cubes were almost 100% identical in appearance and taste. These were only lukewarm and when you chewed you had a “squeaking” sound in your mouth. At home, for example, I use a whole piece that I prepare in the oven in aluminum foil with oil and the desired spices. In fact, I can do it better and cheaper at home. The BBQ burger for €14.50 wasn't convincing either. The “juicy beef” looked like a thin burger patty from the vendor with the golden M. In fact, with the latter I would have gotten more food for the money and there was only a slight difference in taste due to the use of different rolls and sauce. Is it really that difficult to make a nice homemade grilled cheese and burger patty from fresh beef and serve it to your guest? The pepper sauce on the pork loin was even rated as “too spicy” by people who like spicy food. Not to mention the dry meat. Conclusion: Tried twice and twice the food was disappointing. It's a shame, because otherwise everything works fine and the service staff in particular do a really great job.

Ambiente war ordentlich, ausser das der Tisch extrem wackelte. Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich und Portionen zu klein. Selbst mein Sohn ist, trotz Erwachsenenportion nicht satt geworden. Die Preise finde ich dagegen überdurschnittlich und nicht amhemessen zur Leistung. Die Bedienung war zwar sehr nett, wir mussten allerdings öfter aufstehen und nach Personal suchen, da unsere Getränke bereits 15 Minuten lang leer waren. Zuletzt hatten wir mehr Getränke auf der Rechnung, als wir verzehrt hatten. Das Personal war für 15 - 20 Minuten KOMPLETT in der Küche oder sonstwo verschwunden, Wir hatten innerhalb 90Minuten 4 verschiedene Kellner.

Eine super schöne Lage! Aber es bringt Nix, wenn das Essen nicht schmeckt. Ich habe noch nie so eine schlechte, verbrannte Waffel gegessen. Der Preis dafür war auch viel zu hoch. Es wurde nicht mal gefragt, ob es geschmeckt hat. Der Service war total überfordert und hinter der Theke wurde auch gemotzt. Keine schöne Stimmung. Sehr schade!!

Wir haben auf unserer Radtour dort halt gemacht. Sehr leckere Limonade und der Kuchen war auch sehr gut. Tolle Aussicht.

Auf der Terasse Richtung See ist es sehr schön. Trotz vieler Gäste eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Lediglich Bedienung war teils etwas überfordert, aber dennoch sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
