The taste of the food is awesome and Hydrabadi biryani is highly recommended. Restaurant indoor isn’t that decorated but it will be nice in outside sitting place of the restaurant in summer.

Delivery: slightly late but acceptable. Portion: large, taste: very tasty, only criticism: salad unfortunately without dressing. Another note: the “mild” version is absolutely hot enough for the German palate.

The India Haus is a real culinary highlight for everyone who values ​​authentic Indian cuisine - and less about the ambience. The restaurant was probably taken over from a former German pub or similar establishment, and that is still clearly noticeable. The interior is more functional than cozy, with some unusual details such as a printer or empty folders on the side. This may be irritating to some, but if you can look past it you will be rewarded with some truly excellent food. The staff is a bit reserved and shy, but friendly. The dishes themselves are an absolute insider tip: freshly prepared, intensely flavored and very authentic. On the table we had Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken and Mango Chicken - all three dishes were excellent, pleasantly seasoned and not too spicy. The Mango Chicken in particular impresses with a wonderfully fruity note. There was also a mango lassi that was creamy, refreshing and perfectly balanced. If you concentrate on the taste and not on the surroundings, you will definitely be happy here. A visit is particularly worthwhile with the gourmet book! Conclusion: If you don't value perfect interior design and just want to enjoy great Indian food, you should definitely try India Haus. A clear recommendation!

Namastè - you are the best in all of Kassel. The service is great, the food is fantastic and the drivers are always very friendly (you should allow for an hour delivery time). The naan is the best you can find in Germany - prove me wrong. Samosa, butter chicken, mango lassi - we love you and your food. Thanks for the extra sauce, it makes our everyday dinner perfect. Insider tip when it comes to Indian food. We ate there a few days ago and it was delicious. We called first and were warmly welcomed on site. A small but fine restaurant, hidden in an allotment garden association in Kassel. Quaint and rustic furnishings. We weren't able to test the beer garden, but we will in the summer of 2025. As a starter we had naan which was very tasty and as a main course we had lamb and mango chicken. As you can see in the picture, the portion was sufficient. There was more than enough rice on the plate and the amount of meat and sauce was good too. The decoration on the salad was meant to be nice, but in my opinion it could have been a little more. The taste was still very tasty. I think the price for the two dishes including starter and drinks is completely acceptable and justified compared to the competition. I would recommend the restaurant and was more than satisfied.

Since the change of ownership, only Indian food. And that is incredibly delicious. We have eaten from there twice so far (pick up) and it tastes fantastic and (I think) authentically Indian. Even if there are minor language communication difficulties or, for example, today when ordering via the website didn't work, everyone there is extremely helpful and nice. The food is freshly made and yet ready quickly. It's just not a star restaurant (especially in terms of organization), but the food is really indescribably delicious!

I came across this beer garden by chance and had no particular expectations. Indian food is usually not my taste. But I ordered a mild chicken dish and received a wonderful meal that tasted delicious. My expectations were more than exceeded - thank you!

Absolutely great restaurant with a beautiful beer garden. There is great Indian cuisine here. The boss is Indian himself and the food tastes really good. Fans of Indian cuisine will get their money's worth here. I have eaten here many times and tried many dishes. All were very good! This is actually an allotment pub but don't let that fool you, the food is super good and I always enjoy coming here. If you don't like Indian food that much, you can also enjoy delicious traditional dishes here. Of course there is also schnitzel, currywurst with fries, etc. Everything is freshly prepared and the service is very attentive. All in all a great location!

We were pleasantly surprised as this might not look like a place to go to for indian food (hence the points deducted for atmosphere but that's really just nitpicking if you taste the food) Everything was absolutely delicious and service was very friendly! Can highly recommend.

At first you don't think that a beer garden offers Indian food and you are a little surprised when you expect the classic schnitzel :D But the Indian food is very tasty and definitely recommended! Sehr freundliche Bewirtung und sehr leckeres indisches Essen zu fairen Preisen.

Bei den Bewertungen frage ich mich ob den Leuten das Geld nichts mehr wert ist?! Preis/Leistung! Ich habe noch nie so viel Geld (16,90€ !!) für Soße mit etwas Reis bezahlt! Wirklich unverschämt! Indisches Gericht in Geschmack gut, aber mit wenigen, in der Soßenschwämme absolut verloren gegangen kleinen Bröckchen Fleisch. Materialeinsatz faktisch kaum bei optimalen Gewinn! Ich rate sich eher für die Schrebergarten eher üblichen Gerichte zu entscheiden: Schnitzel, Currywurst, etc.

Went there because another restaurant was closed. Didn’t expect much and when we came in it was almost empty. But let me tell you this is one of the best food ive ever had. No joke. Great schnitzel and the Indian food is out of this world. Everything was just unbelievably good

Waren zum 1 mal vor Ort.. Biergarten gut .Essen Sehr lecker .Gute Auswahl .Auch Deutsches Menu lt Karte. Gut. Indisch .War für mich super ..schön scharf .Wärs mag.Dazu ein Schöffer Hofer Weizen .was will Mann mehr.

Kleiner Geheimtipp wenn man gerne indisch isst. Der Biergarten ist schön und das Essen lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Lediglich die Nachspeise war nicht so mein Geschmack.

Schöner Biergarten direkt am Fulda Radweg. Matjes mit Bratkartoffeln war sehr lecker und dazu ein schönes Radeberger.

Super lecker und sehr schön und außerdem freundlicher service

Ich habe mir ein Lammgericht liefern lassen. Das Fleisch war extrem mit Fett durchzogen und daher ungenießbar. Der Beilagensalat war kuschelig warm,- somit auch nicht wirklich lecker. Wenigstens war der Fahrer freundlich. Schade, dass die Qualität des Essens nachgelassen hat.

Pyszności 😊, obsługa przemiła. Ludzie z pozytywną energią. Na pewno jeszcze nieraz odwiedzę bo warto. Polecam. 👌👌

Netter Biergarten mit hervorragendem indischen Essen und sehr freundlichem Personal. Das Palak Paneer war ein Traum! Es gibt auch viele vegetarische und vegane Gerichte

Von einer großen Fahrradtour von knickhagen nach Kassel und auf dem Rückweg muss man einfach mal anhalten und ein bisschen Bier trinken Pommes essen sehr gut danke

Nach drei Abenden vor Ort und einer Bestellung nachhause ist der indische Teil der Karte für mich die erste Wahl in Kassel. Den anderen Menschen mit denen ich dort war, hat es auch sehr geschmeckt. Besonders die Vorspeisen sind zum Teil ganz überraschend gewürzt. Mit Vorspeise und Hauptgericht hat man wirklich viel zu essen, ich empfehle sich mit mehreren zusammen zu tun, wenn man mehrere Vorspeisen probieren möchte. Bei den Hauptgerichten empfehle ich besonders das Curry mit Lachs und die Gerichte mit dem hausgemachten Käse. Lediglich die Salate waren meist eher unspannend, dennoch lecker und frisch. Dazu kommt der schöne lauschige Biergarten. Dadurch, dass es parallel noch die alte Speisekarte mit Schnitzel & Co. gibt, kann ich demnächst sogar nochmal mit Leuten hingehen, die kein indisches Essen mögen. Ich freue mich schon drauf.

Die (indischen) Gerichte sind für den mittel-europäischen Geschmack sehr scharf, obwohl dies nicht explizit auf der Speisekarte erwähnt wird. Ich habe meine Soße mit Naturjoghurt verdünnt und konnte sie gerade so genießen. Ich frage mich wie das als "scharf" geknnzeichnete essen schmeckt. Liefezeit wird dafur fast auf die Minute genau eingehalten.

Der paneer ist einfach mega den muss man probieren!

Tolle Atmosphäre unter Freunden. Stets gutgelaunte Bedienung. In Kassel eine unserer Lieblingsgaststätten, wenn wir uns nicht erst in Abendgarderobe werfen wollen. Gut besuchter Biergarten. Etwas versteckt in einer Schrebergartenanlage. Schöner 🍺 Biergarten. Es gibt auch Schnitzel etc.. aber absolut zu empfehlen ist das Angebot an indischen Gerichten. Sehr authentischer Geschmack mit großer Auswahl an vegetarischen und auch veganen Gerichten. Auf Wunsch auch Chai Massala. Personal schnell, nett und freundlich.

Gestern das erste Mal dort bestellt. Und war sehr überrascht. Der beste in Inder kassel bei dem man bestellen kann. Alles super frisch und lecker. Jederzeit wieder !

Die Gaststätte glänzt durch seinen herrlichen Biergarten direkt am Fahrradweg, seine bodenständige Küche und seine stets freundliche Bedienung bei wechselnden Inhabern. Die aktuellen Betreiber machen die Gaststätte zu einem Geheimtipp, denn sie bieten zusätzlich zur normalen gutbürgerlichen Karte sehr umfänglich indische Gerichte an. Darunter auch viele vegetarische u. vegane Speisen. Wir waren total begeistert von unserem Spinat- und Lamm-Curry und werden wegen des sehr guten indischen Essens wieder häufiger hier einkehren.

Essen war ganz gut. Leider war es im Restaurant viel zu kalt.
