Pleasant atmosphere Excellent food

The Starick hotel complex in Lehde, in the Spreewald region, is an idyllic retreat that perfectly combines nature, tranquility, and comfort. The location alone is beautiful. We had a wonderful stay at a complex we highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

A really good Western-style pub. The food (Western platter) was excellent. But definitely reserve a table in advance; it's very popular.

On Sunday, January 4th, I placed an order with Domino's. I ordered the largest pizzas available, a snack set, and also potato sticks, chicken drumsticks, and sauce. Of course, it's impossible to eat snacks without sauce, but… The delivery was 10 minutes late—I don't think that's critical, especially since it was snowing heavily that day. The delivery driver was very friendly and nice, and I'm really sorry we didn't have any cash left after our trip to tip him. So I was all the more surprised when I opened the order: The snack set contained nuggets (which were truly inedible), and instead of the ordered pack of chicken drumsticks, I received another pack of nuggets! Excuse me, but I thought the cheese rolls were the worst part of the order—it's understandable that the cheese melts and leaks, but the nuggets… they were clearly frozen and thawed multiple times, or they've literally survived a war. Why did I get these bluish nuggets instead of the chicken drumsticks? And the sauce wasn't included at all! If only a shop had been open—but it was Sunday, and we had to eat everything without sauce. I think that with orders over €50, a free sauce could easily be included. My order was over €70, and even the sauce I paid for wasn't included. And these constant emails to my inbox… do you really think a customer wants to order again after receiving two promotional emails a day? It's extremely annoying, and you have to constantly clean out your inbox.
