Formerly a regular customer and now an occasional guest due to a change of job. I really enjoy coming to the Rhine Valley and have never had a reason to be dissatisfied.

We went to this brilliant restaurant on Saturday and although it was incredibly busy, the team delivered a fantastic performance! As someone who comes from the catering industry myself, I know how stressful such days can be, but here every single employee impressed with their sweet friendliness and professionalism. The food was perfect, and the service was even better! An all-round successful evening. It's a shame I can't give this six stars - you really deserve it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were there on Saturday with seven people. I made my reservation online and received a response very quickly. We received a friendly welcome, the staff was super quick and really nice. The restaurant was fully booked and we were told that it would take a little while, which in my opinion is self-evident and logical when the house is full. We had a delicious meal and had a very nice and fun evening there. In January we will be at an event nearby again and will definitely come back to eat there as we don't come from the area and are really looking forward to it.

We were there last Saturday because we come from HD and were thrilled, the conditions were very nice, of course it was very full, lots of reservations but it wasn't a problem for 7 of us, it was super cozy and the food was absolutely amazing, very, very tasty, so good We haven't had grilled pepperoni in a long time. The main courses are also perfect and no one goes home hungry. The price-performance ratio was also completely okay. We'll be back...promised 🥰

The food was super tasty and the service was extremely flexible. Despite the very unfriendly guests at the next table, she remained super nice and we will definitely be back (just because of the Dubai chocolate 😉) So see you soon and don't let your joy be taken away from you!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited this amazing restaurant for the first time on Saturday and can safely say it wasn't our last time! As soon as we entered the restaurant we immediately felt at home. Despite the high volume and the associated stress for the team, the employees were consistently courteous, authentic and simply great. It is remarkable how they handled the situation with a smile. The food exceeded our expectations! The portions are very generous and each of us was more than full. In terms of taste, everything was outstanding, you can tell the love and passion that goes into the dishes. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can highly recommend this restaurant! We were in this restaurant with 25 people, the waitress with glued-on eyelashes and 10cm fingernails, was totally overwhelmed, we waited at least 90 minutes for the food, the last one after 2 hours, the chef is great, the food was super delicious, we had to pay Waited again for 30 minutes because the waitress said I had to help the kitchen, despite having a reservation it was impossible to wait that long

Rustic atmosphere but the food is great. The schnitzel and cordon bleu are worth a visit. A lot and very tasty! When it got busier, the service was a bit poor, but in this day and age of staff shortages you have to accept that. Service was very nice and still in a good mood. Parking spaces are a bit rare as the restaurant is located on a side street in a residential area. A walk is also pleasant after eating 😉

Was there with my husband for the 3rd time this evening. 1x in the restaurant with friends, 1x in the beer garden for the music evening (it was great) and today for Friday rump steak day. The food was really great and served on beautiful porcelain. The eye was already happy. Luckily it also tasted delicious 👍🏻. First we had a service that was brand new. She was really very friendly. Then we met another Coco, she was very sweet and funny. Afterwards we found out that she was the daughter of the house who was working. 🤩 Thank you for the lovely evening and the treat, the great dessert, a gift from the house 😘😘 We are already looking forward to our next visit with you

The Rhine Valley is a beautiful and cozy restaurant where you can not only eat well but also spend time together and enjoy music, where else can you get that from anywhere?

Yesterday, four of us spontaneously came to eat in the beer garden. Even though it was really busy (!), we didn't have to wait very long for our food. We would have completely understood, after all the dishes are freshly prepared (which you can clearly taste) but we were very positively surprised. Starters and main courses were perfectly spaced apart. We had the pepperoni and the Greco baguettes as a starter and a colorful variety of main courses. It was all very, very tasty. All the food arrived together and was hot and fresh. No schnitzel or cordon bleu from the deep fryer. It was all freshly baked. The two conditions were super friendly, quickly on the move and apparently kept track of things without any problems. Special requests from us were taken into account and even one of our "latecomers" got a place and a meal. Hats off ! We will definitely be back and can only strongly recommend a visit if you fancy good food, a nice atmosphere and excellent service. We had a great evening, thank you!

Ideal for having a refreshing drink after work on Fridays. It's open all day, only the kitchen takes a break. The service is hard to beat. Update summer 2024: Finally arrived hungry and were more than rewarded. A small portion of sausage salad and schnitzel were absolutely sufficient and tasted incredibly delicious. We were late, but were lucky that the kitchen was still open. Service, as always, was super friendly and helpful. I'm already looking forward to the next visit 🤩

We had reserved a table for 4 people for 8:30 a.m. We called around 7 p.m. to place an order. We got drinks immediately. Then the waiting began. We hoped to get our ordered starters at some point. Unfortunately nothing happened. Guests who arrived long after us had their food in the meantime. After 8.30 p.m. we asked how long we had to wait, didn't get a nice answer and were thrown out after more than 2 hours. Since we have eaten here several times, we are appalled by the treatment and will certainly not be coming back

We spontaneously wanted to go out for dinner today around 2.30 p.m. and according to the internet it would be open.😡unfortunately the restaurant doesn't open again until 5 p.m., a shame, then not🤷‍♀️ We could have saved this fuel If you already have a website and the opening times change then you should change that!!!!

We were there spontaneously for the first time yesterday and were warmly greeted. Even without a reservation, they made a friendly effort to find us a place. The food was very good, the salad was great. Price performance is also good. We'll be back and reserve in advance. Thank you for the nice service, we had nothing to complain about.

The sausage salad was very, very bland. The egg slices were dried out. Unfortunately only 2 stars for that. The boss isn't exactly friendly.

My salad was okay, but it could have used more dressing. One of the two conditions probably failed to do its job. Very unsympathetic and not really nice! You can sit outside in the beer garden and the Cordon Bleus were also highly recommended!

Disastrous service. Absolutely incompetent, cheeky and stroppy. Having to make a stupid statement after waiting for more than 1.5 hours is unbeatable in terms of audacity. Keyword -> Damaging to business. Food was good average, but the sauce was a little too salty. There are definitely better alternatives in Ludwigshafen and the surrounding area.

Simply delicious, I made another reservation straight away

It was quite by chance that I was there twice in the beer garden within a week, since we had never been there before. Once as a couple and once with 4 adults and 4 children. Every time we got a good seat, the food was tasty and the prices were reasonable, especially for the daily meal or on promotional days. I can't say anything about the interior. Absolutely a recommendation for the summer. We will be back!

Get a seat without a reservation. There were a lot of guests there. Took a while. The wait was worth it. Very good taste of the food.

Very cozy and good service all around! (we had schnitzel), but were hoping that there would be the cordon bleu skewers and the delicious pasta salad? When will you have these back on the menu? Addition: Should have been the Greco role, the Corona.Zeit is coming. The pasta salad would be a great alternative, especially at temperatures beyond 30 degrees.

Wir war spontan zum Essen hier und hatten keine Reservierung. Wir hatten Glück, noch einen Tisch zu bekommen weil es sehr voll war. Als Vorspeise hatten wir uns einen Wurstsalat geteilt der sehr lecker war. Im Hauptgang gab es dann Schnitzel und Salat. Alles war frisch und sehr gut. Preis - Leistung passt hier sehr gut. Achtung ist aber rustikal eingerichtet was aber gut hier her passt. Ich komme gerne wieder.

The schnitzels are definitely recommended. Unfortunately it took a while for the food to arrive but it was worth the wait.

We were there for dinner with 10 people. The service, which was super friendly despite all of this, was completely overwhelmed. We were then only given 9 out of 10 meals. When we asked, the food was served later; some of us were already finished. The side salads arrived at the same time as the forgotten dish. There was a hair in one of the meals, this meal was returned and kindly didn't have to be paid for. We were then invited by the boss to come back to make amends. However, we were given the wrong date for the 10 people. What was stupid for us was that it was Easter and we couldn't get a table elsewhere with the family at short notice. The Rhine Valley is over for us.

Great schnitzel with great prices!! Everyone at the table was very happy with the food and especially with the prices! We'd love to come back, but we're looking forward to the beer garden!! Unfortunately, the inside is not so nice and is getting old.

Very good schnitzel, salad with tuna + sheep cheese was good. Thai churry (vegan) delicious. Cheese spaetzle delicious.

Compared to a year ago, portions are significantly fewer/smaller but the prices are more expensive. If you're hungry, you're unlucky and won't get full, which is a bit of a shame! But the food still tastes good!

The food is good and the staff is nice. Sausage salad, schnitzel and the cordon bleus are delicious. Were there again on 12/2023. Jägerschnitzel with fries was great. This time it was said that there should be enough fries and that's how it was. Great.

Rustic place, not too much charm. We had as lunch Schnitzel and chicken gyros. Everything tip top at fair prices. Service very attentive, prompt and friendly. It is better to make a reservation for lunch.

Sehr gutes Essen. Freundliche und kompetente Bedienung. Immer hilfsbereit. Toller Biergarten im Sommer. Sehr netter Chef. Gehe gerne zum Essen und Trinken hin. Auch mit Familie und Kinder. Fahrräder können im Biergarten abgestellt werden.

Simples, einfaches Lokal wo man noch zu fairen Preisen gut Speisen kann. Spezialität sind die verschiedenen Schnitzelvariantionen. Aber auch Salate scheinen gut anzukommen. Gut frequentiert zwischen 11:30 und 13;30. Im Sommer kann man ganz gut draußen sitzen dann sollte man aber besser reservieren.

Leider das erste Mal die Schnitzel viel zu dünn und genau wie das Cordon Blue außen herum total hart gebraten... Komme aber trotzdem wieder! ;-)

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hier einfach klasse. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet. Jeder Zeit wieder.

Das Ambiente im Biergarten ist sehr schön, aber laut (Gespräche,...). Der Service ist super. Das Essen finde ich nur befriedigend, da die Schnitzel nur lauwarm waren. Ansonsten etwas fest. Der Salat mit dem weißen Dressing, na ja. Die Kroketten waren gut und heiß. Das Parken ist Glückssache, da Wohngebiet.

Meine Familie und ich waren an einem Bürgerabend da. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die laufende Musik hat für ein angenehmes Ambiente gesorgt. Schlussendlich kann man den Abend als gelungen bewerten.

An und für sich immer lecker, durch wechselnde Köche leichte Qualitätsunterschiede.

Kleine aber feine Karte. Gemütlichen Biergarten. Super freundlicher Service. Essen (Schnitzel in 2 Varianten mit Beilage und Salat) echt lecker.

Wir sind öfters hier zum Abendessen und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Preis/Leistung passt voll und ganz. Mit dem Essen wurden wir noch nie enttäuscht. Alles wunderbar frisch und mit Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und angerichtet. Die Karte ist aus meiner Sicht ausreichend groß, es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas Gutes dabei. Und es gibt immer wieder tolle "Aktionen" wie z. B. eine Sommerkarte oder Tagesgerichte. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und wir fühlen uns jedes Mal willkommen im Rheintal. Und die Kinderfreundlichkeit nicht zu vergessen, auch mit Kleinkind werden wir immer herzlich empfangen. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an das tolle Team!

Sarah, die netteste Bedienung, die mir in den letzten Jahren begegnet ist. Sie empfahl mir ein naturtrübes Radler vom Fass, mega lecker. Zum Försterschnitzel Kroketten, sah alles perfekt aus und schmeckte hervorragend. Diese Superfrau hatte sehr viel zu tun, gab aber jedem Gast das Gefühl, sich nur um sie/ihn zu kümmern. Das Ambiente im Biergarten trug ebenso zu einem rundum gelungenen Rheintal-Abend bei. Komme gerne wieder. :-)

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich war sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal hier.

Sehr gutes Essen, guter Schorle und sehr nette Bedienung.Darüber hinaus stimmt das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis - immer wieder gehen wir gerne ins Rheintal.

Das Essen war super, die Servicekräfte nett aber leider nicht auf Zack, mussten länger auf alles warten (Nachbestellung, Getränke etc), die Vorspeise wurde vergessen und dafür eine Portion Pommes zu viel gebracht die wir nicht wollten.

Gemütlich, im Sommer toller Biergarten, Empfehlenswert Cordon Bleu Variationen

Das Rheintal liegt im Herzen von Friesenheim und hat zusätzlich einen wunderschönen Biergarten. Innen ist der Raucher- und Nichtraucherbereich getrennt. Das Essen ist deutsche Küche mit leckeren wechselnden Tagesangeboten. Die Stimmung ist familiär und herzlich sowie das gesamte Personal.

Wir waren heute zu viert zum Cordon Bleu Buffet... Super organisiert, sehr freundlich, leckere Cordon Bleus zu einem fairen Preis! Die Damen im Service sind aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ebenso fiel uns positiv auf, dass die Flasche Wasser mit 4€ vergleichsweise günstig ist. Es war sicher nicht unser letzter Besuch 😀

Wir besuchten das Restaurant nun zum dritten Mal. Die ersten beiden Male waren wir zu einem Geburtstag eingeladen. Da bei allen drei Besuchen wir jedes Mal vom Essen sehr begeistert waren möchte ich heute über unseren letzten Besuch von gestern Abend berichten. Wir wurden freundlich von einer jungen Dame begrüßt, durften uns einen freien Platz selbst auswählen. Die Kellnerin war dieses Mal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam (dieser Punkt traf bei den ersten beiden Malen so gar nicht zu, es waren andere Kellner:innen). Das Essen heiß, frisch, gute Qualität mit bestem Geschmack. Wir kommen wieder, danke für den schönen Abend.

Geh jetzt nur auf den Begriff "gut-bürgerliche Küche" ein. Ok, ich war in etlichen Restaurants verschiedener Kategorien. Wenn ich Paul Boceuse 3 Sterne will, suche ich nicht in Friesenheim, von daher hat der Inhaber genau die Zielgruppe getroffen die realistisch sein Angebot/Nachfrage Schema bedient. Es ist die Perfektion einer gut-bürgerlichen Küche. Mein Rumpsteak war genau so gebraten wie ich es sonst nur vom Top 5 Steakhouse kenne ("englisch zart"), das Cordon-Bleu meiner Frau groß, saftig und mit reichlich Pommes + Salat und meine beiden Kinder schwärmen noch von dem Schnitzel. Wenn ihr also genau mit dieser Erwartung ein Restaurant sucht, bürgerliche Küche zu einem super Preis und das in einem netten Ambiente, -> that's the place. Für mich einziger "Wermutstropfen", aber das ist persönlich, ich bin leider sehr empfindlich was Zigarettenrauch angeht. Im vorderen Bereich ist das Raucher-Abteil. War zum Glück im Restaurantbereich nicht zu merken, von daher für mich kein Problem, so tolerant bin ich und ich glaub, es gibt Gründe warum dem so ist - Stammkundschaft, von daher will ich nicht nörgeln. Also als Resumé: Das was das Restaurant verspricht und ich mir als Gast erwarte - wird zu 120% erfüllt. Leider wohne ich etwas weiter weg, sonst könnte ich hier als Stammgast aufwarten. Aber will mit Arnold Schwarzenegger enden: "I'll be back" :-)
