We were here for the school opening and were completely satisfied. Friendly service, and the beer garden is very nice. There are also play areas for the children.

This was our second visit to this restaurant, both for a family celebration, and this time we also stayed overnight. We enjoyed it very much both times. The food was delicious...wonderful German cuisine. The breakfast was very filling, and the value for money was also very good. The service is heartfelt and friendly. It's remarkable that the hosts are there for their guests 7 days a week. You rarely find such dedication these days. Everything is spotless. We felt very comfortable and would happily recommend this restaurant. Thank you very much.

I was here for lunch with my family today. There were ten of us. Everything was very nice and good. Lovely restaurant. Quiet location. Large parking lot. Very friendly owner. Great selection, Thuringian cuisine is available here. I had a super soft and tasty beef roulade. Served hot, with dumplings and red cabbage. Everything was very good. Everything we ate was delicious. The chanterelle soup was also delicious. I'd love to come back again if I get a chance.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We sat outside and it was very nice, especially for the kids, as they had a small playground. The food was great.

Since my parents are too limited to walk, I wanted to get food for my birthday, as I have often done! Suddenly this apparently no longer works! Apparently the recovery is going well again. We have been guests again and again for years and have been happy, but such rejection is simply not possible.

This restaurant is recommended because we were served quickly. The staff are very polite. There is nothing to complain about in terms of price. The menu is clear and the dishes are very tasty and well portioned. We'd love to come back.

We were on our way home and wanted to grab a bite to eat because it looked very good. The restaurant was open at 10 a.m. and we didn't get anything, not even something small, since lunch only starts at 11:30 a.m. We were very disappointed and the children were hungry. That's why I only give it 1 star

We spent five nights "relaxing" and didn't regret our decision for this accommodation for a second. The hotel room with bathroom, the breakfast, the dinner in the restaurant - everything was great! In summary: A very nice guesthouse with restaurant, extremely friendly hosts and the price-performance ratio is right!

We wanted to go out to eat and drove to Pößneck. The restaurant is at the entrance to the town. You wouldn't expect a restaurant from the entrance. The restaurant itself is very nice and even if you haven't pre-ordered you can find a place. The food was great. Price-performance ratio is good. You can also sit in the open space behind the restaurant. The restaurant is recommended. 👍

We were passing through on the B85 and B281 and were looking for a restaurant that was open all day from 1 p.m. This is more than difficult in this region, as many restaurants close at 1 or 2 p.m. Although this restaurant is open all day, hot food is not served all the time. At 2 p.m. we were only offered ice cream.

Delicious home cooking, but also unusual and all in a beautiful, small beer garden behind the restaurant, a holiday couldn't end better... The location is not necessarily central, but in times of GoogleMap it's probably not a problem, the price/performance ratio We thought it was okay because the portions were really large (it's better to order children's or senior plates) ☺️ Gladly again! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We were invited to a family celebration in the restaurant (closed event). However, since our dog (weight 1,200 grams) was not welcome in the restaurant in the dog bag, the celebration was immediately over for us. You can say that some innkeepers know how to spice up an 80th birthday party. What we can highly recommend is the Greek restaurant “Athen” in Pößneck. You can also eat very well here with your dog.

A restaurant we like to visit. The service is always friendly, likes to make us laugh with their humor and you always feel welcome, no matter how full the house is. The food is always lovingly prepared and tastes very good. Big compliments again to the chef. We'd love to come back for dinner.

Here you can stay overnight very well and inexpensively or just come for a meal. Typical Thuringian cuisine is on the menu here, among other things. The staff is very friendly, nice, helpful and accommodating. There is a large parking lot for customers in front of the guesthouse. Our friends and acquaintances have often spent the night here.

Großer Ausflugsgasthof mit beschaulichem Außenbereich unter Bäumen und Aussicht auf das Saaletal. Sehr freundlicher Service. Verkauf von Regionalprodukten. Sülze war lecker. Eiskaffee war lecker. Klöße gibt's nur am Wochenende. WLAN. Sanitäre Einrichtungen in die Jahre gekommen, sauber. Zur Kemenate hinter der Kirche lohnt ein kleiner Spaziergang.

Ganz tolle Gaststätte, das Essen phantastisch , die Thüringer Klöse sind eine Wucht . Seit Jahren hat die Qualität nicht nachgelassen.

Wir feierten dort eine Hochzeit und es lief alles sehr gut. Sehr empfehelnswert!

Gut gewachsenes Haus, viel Erfahrung eingebaut, Nassräume und WC komplett gefliest. Zimmer massiv und rustikal eingerichtet. Aber die Empfehlung der Regierung, Energie zu sparen, wurde zu wahr genommen! Es war viel zu kalt! Gefühlt 12-15* TV im Gemeinsamraum war und blieb defekt. Frühstück war perfekt! Essen und Service super. Preise angemessen aber nicht günstig. 30-40% mehr, als bei „zum goldenen Adler“, 2Dörfer (20km) weiter. Muss man kennen, findet man nicht! Militantes „Nicht-Raucher“-Haus! Habe in 3 Tagen einen einzigen „Briefkasten-Aschenbecher“ gefunden! und wurde 2x darauf hingewiesen die Türe beim draußen rauchen im Innenhof, schnell zuzumachen! Im Ganzen, zu empfehlen!

Parkplatz top.Essen hervorragend. Platz bzw. Reservierung manchmal schwierig. Spricht für die Gastronomie.

Wir sind hungrig von der Autobahn abgefahren, und gut gelaunt mit leckerem Essen im Bauch wieder los gefahren. Die urige Erholung hat ihrem Namen alle Ehre gemacht. Spitzen Personal!

Supergute Küche, große Auswahl an Speisen und Eisbecher. Hat Jedem von uns super geschmeckt. Da gibt es keinerlei Tadel. Gemütlicher Gastraum, nette Leute. Macht weiter so.

Das Essen ist sehr sehr schmackhaft und die Bedienung freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!!?
