The owners are trying hard, but the service isn't quite up to scratch yet. The food still has room for improvement, and the location on the Main River is, of course, fantastic. Sun loungers on the riverbank—it couldn't be better.

So the staff is so unfriendly, the cola was stale and contained women's hair. The women's toilet was smeared. In addition, the waiter wiped the toilet without gloves.

A full house speaks for itself ;-) Good, traditional, down-to-earth cuisine, expertly prepared! Great service and a pleasant country-house atmosphere. Good value for money; the roast goose was fantastic for our whole group. We always enjoy coming to your restaurant because your consistently excellent quality sets you apart from all the run-of-the-mill, wannabe restaurateurs. July 21, 2019, 6:15 p.m., 2 adults & 1 child - our first visit After a long wait for service, we got the menu ourselves from another table. After our order was taken, we looked around a bit. The appearance of the "service staff" wasn't particularly special (it looked like they'd just returned from the swimming pool on their bikes a few minutes ago)! One of them stood in front of another table with her mouth full, serving the food, and the guests' head-shaking was unmistakable! As was the case at several other tables, we were sometimes served the wrong food. The food itself was bland to unseasoned; the schnitzel came from the deep fryer, the "dressing" was poured over the careless salad. The best part was the fried egg, which was perfectly cooked (no bubbles, no brown edges). When clearing the table, we weren't even asked how or if we liked it. Every now and then, an older man was busy serving and clearing away. He seemed more competent than everyone else; it turned out he was the boss. The drinks were poured and then served in a small garden shed, with a bottle of cleaning product standing out among the liquor bottles for everyone to see. The garden itself wasn't particularly well-kept; there were cut branches in front of a bush, old wooden slats leaning against the house next to an empty squeegee, empty chalkboards, and a few other things. When paying, we mentioned our first impression, and to our surprise, the waitress agreed with us!!! Apparently, we were having a bad day; I can't explain the positive reviews here on Google any other way! Update: August 25, 2021 We tried again, and this time everything was fine. Different staff, a real asset to the restaurant.
