Friendly service, delicious schnitzel, good portions, good value for money, Altbier was tasty and well-poured, always a pleasure ☺️

Everything was great. Honest food at super prices. The premises are rustic and well-maintained, and there's a large terrace in the summer. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. One small drawback: cash only.

I really enjoy going to Meck because the atmosphere is relaxed, the restaurant area is cozy, and, above all, the food is delicious. The prices are what you'd expect and not as expensive as you'd usually find elsewhere.

Absolutely awesome location. For young and old. Always something going on. Fun people, good food, delicious beer, and you can always make friends. In the summer, a great outdoor area; you won't want to leave once you're there. A must-visit for every guest in Lintorf.

Two stars because the Altbier was delicious and the service was friendly. Not three stars because there's no indication on the website or menu that they're closed at 8:30 p.m. We found out after ordering drinks. Yes, now I realize we should have asked right away. Unfortunately, the website doesn't list opening hours – Google said it was open until midnight – and there's no indication of the early closing time. It's a shame.

Ordered a rustic salad with fried eggs and fried potatoes. The fried potatoes were old and had been thrown in the deep fryer. They were greasy, unseasoned, and had no onions.

The food and service are good. But the fact that you can't pay by card these days is a no-go.

The food was average, nothing special. The service, however, was below average. We were asked three times what we were ordering to drink. We ordered two drinks, so it shouldn't be that complicated.

The Schlüssel zum Meck is a classic and practically enjoys cult status in Lintorf. The value for money is absolutely spot on. The food tastes really good, and the portions are perfectly adequate. The staff is very approachable and attentive. The atmosphere here is always great. You get a sense of home and a relaxed atmosphere here. Anyone in the area should sit down in the beer garden and relax a bit with a Pilsner or Alt and something good to eat.

Yes, we always go out to eat on Schnitzel Day, especially when you can sit outside and enjoy the food. 😋

Inzwischen liegen dort gemütliche Sitzkissen, man kann dort eine nette Zeit verbringen. Das Ambiente war schon immer gemütlich und daran hat sich auch nichts geändert. Es ist keine Küche Deluxe aber das bekannte Schnitzel (besonders am Schnitzeltag) in verschiedensten Arten ist ein Besuch wert. Meiner Meinung nach könnten die Portionen aber ein wenig üppiger ausfallen. Sie sind etwas weniger geworden. Ansonsten macht man dort mit einem Besuch zum lecker was essen oder nur etwas trinken garantiert nichts verkehrt.

We wanted to celebrate Old Women. But without a DJ and without a reasonable audible carnival music, you can only advise against the nonsense. In addition, there are impossibly unfriendly guards in front of the toilets who will even refuse to let you go if you don't pay down to the cent to use the toilet. Never again old women in Meck!!!

There is nothing wrong with the Meck if you want to drink a beer (Schlüssel-Alt on tap), but unfortunately the food is only at snack bar level. In summer you can sit outside quite well. Update 2025: The food has gotten better, hence now 4 stars.

Mondays are schnitzel day at a special price. Of course, every seat is occupied at least once. Reservations are recommended - especially if you want to come with a large group.

Had another nice evening at Meck. Service was attentive and quick. Drinks were as they should be. Our larger reservation wasn't a problem either. The next class reunion will take place there again. Update 06/05/23: Prices for Schnitzel Day on Monday have remained the same so far, but the portions feel smaller and served with less “love”. We are full, but there used to be more tinsel. It's definitely worth a visit. Sitting outside is particularly pleasant when the weather is nice. Update from October 21st, 2024: despite making a reservation on Schnitzel Day, we had to wait over a quarter of an hour for our seat. The food was super quick and tasty.

Schnitzel and burgers looked good. Unfortunately I had gyros, which is not recommended (meat not so good, tzatziki boring). Beer tastes good and service is good and quick. Unfortunately it is very loud on weekend evenings and you can't have much conversation. But it's probably part of the atmosphere. I think it's a shame that you can only pay in cash.

Mixture of restaurant and pub with key Old, rustic, cozy furnishings. The menu is manageable in a positive sense, there should be something for everyone. It's definitely delicious... The service is quick, typically Rhineland friendly and funny too. If you don't like football on TV with the corresponding background noise, you should think about when to go there. It's just a joke. If the weather is right you can sit outside nicely, nothing to complain about for the price. We like to go and that's why we go back again and again...

The Mettbroetchen turned out to be a filled baguette, but that was ok. All 10 got their food at the same time.

Forgotten food, promised after explicitly asking how long it would take, answer. Immediately 10 minutes. It takes another 25 minutes. Second non-alcoholic shandy with Fanta, complained about, got a new one in an Altbier glass and then got it with alcohol. Left standing, no longer had the nerve to complain. I wasn't satisfied at all. First and foremost, I found the waiter very arrogant and unfriendly. It doesn't seem necessary at the moment. The quality of the food doesn't leave a lasting positive impression either. In the district town a little further south, I had much better experiences!

Fine for a beer but for food I would go somewhere else. A schnitzel where the fried potatoes were sold out and was therefore served with fries without a salad. It had to be ordered additionally for €5. All in all, below par. Debit card is also not possible. So I was asked to walk across the street to pay 🥴, come on, it's 2024, right! Not for repetition

Nette Bierkneipe mit normalen Schnitzeln die lecker und gut sind, mehr aber auch nicht. Saucen alle leider aus der Dose. Das größte Defizit ist jedoch die harte Bestuhlung bzw. Sitzbänke. Länger als 50 min kann man dort leider nicht sitzen. Gemütlichkeit Note 6. aber durchaus höflicher und schneller Service.

We ended up here by accident. It seemed like a large pub where a lot of people were eating schnitzels (Monday evening). We ordered both schnitzels. A nice plate full of two schnitzels and fries. Exactly how we Dutch know schnitzels in Germany. The price was also very good. At checkout we thought he had made a calculation error. It was cheaper than on the menu. Turns out Monday was schnitzel day! Ate there again two days later.

Wir gehen immer gerne hin. Egal ob drinnen oder im Sommer draußen: man sitzt schön und wird freundlich bedient. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top. Auch geht es meistens - selbst wenn es voller ist - sehr schnell.

Über Meck muss man nicht viel sagen. Eine Gaststätte, wie es sie nicht mehr oft gibt. Das Personal ist schnell und immer freundlich. Das Bier steht auf dem Tisch, bevor man überhaupt weiß, wo man sitzen möchte. Und man trifft jede Menge Leute!

Ich bin immer wieder überrascht, wie leichtfertig 5 Sterne vergeben werden. Aber hört mal meine Meinung. Angesichts der guten Bewertung und der Aussicht auf gute Schnitzel, haben meine beiden Freunde und ich gestern das "Restaurant" Meck aufgesucht und wir bekamen einen Tisch im Gastraum. Tisch und Stühle waren aus Massivholz, und die Sitzkissen bestanden aus einer dünnen Filzmatte. Zwar nicht unbequem, aber auch nicht sonderlich gemütlich. Wir bestellten: 4 Mettbrote, eine Kartoffelsuppe , einen Cheeseburger und 2 mal Schnitzel. Mettbrote waren lecker, aber es fehlten die Pfeffer- und Salzsteuer auf dem Tisch. Die Kartoffelsuppe sah eher aus wie eine Gemüsesuppe und war etwas salzig. Der Burger war nicht so gut. Das Tiefkühl Patty war zwar gut gebraten, aber sehr hart. Ich hatte mich durch den Satz "frisches Rindfleisch" in der Karte täuschen lassen. Die Fritten hatten die richtige Menge Salz, waren mir persönlich aber etwas zu hart. Die beiden Schnitzel meiner Kumpel sahen gut aus und die Soßen waren lecker. Leider aber wieder nur "TK". Alles in allem etwas enttäuschend. Die Bezeichnung "Restaurant" passt nicht so ganz, eher eine bessere Pommesbude. Preise sind OK. Fazit. Wer "gut" essen möchte ist hier fehl am Platz. Wer zu angemessenen Preisen schön angerichtete TK-Ware zu sich nehmen möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben. Hätte es mir von vorne herein denken können. Am Schnitzeltag, wo es das Schnitzel für 8,90 € gibt, macht der Laden sicher keine Verluste :-)

Wir waren nach der Messe hier zusammen Essen. Es war lecker, schnell und günstig. Mit anderen Worten, es war Perfekt für uns.

Nach einem langen Tag auf der Gamescom haben wir in der Nähe vom Hotel ein Restaurant gesucht. Hatten Schni und Burger. Essen war sehr lecker, Bedienung freundlich. Zum Ambiente muss man sagen, es war viel los und man konnte auf der Leinwand Fußball ⚽️ schauen. Dadurch war es etwas lauter, uns hat es nicht gestört, haben uns einfach um die Ecke gesetzt. Nur zu empfehlen.

Essen schmeckt immer super, Bedienung zügig und total freundlich. Schöne Dorfkneipe mit netten Menschen.

Ist einfach eine Kultkneipe in Lintorf die man zu besuchen hat vorallem Montags am Schnitzeltag 9€ für zwei Schnitzel kann man nicht meckern. Finde auch super das man an Karneval immer eine Party dort hat und man alle Ratinger und Lintorfer dort sieht ob jung oder alt. Außerdem eine schöne Terrasse um draußen zu sitzen in der Sonne.

Maximal Durchschnitt dafür, dass man es als was ganz besonderes bewirbt. Wer seine Kunden um Jahr 2023 weiter zwingt extra zur Bank laufen zu müssen anstatt endlich Kartenzahlung zu akzeptieren bekommt eh schon einen Stern weniger.

Mega, Schnitzel Montag ist der Hit ! Nettes Ambiente gutes sitzen und essen. Freundliche Bedienung. ! Alles in allem kann man das Meck empfehlen gutes Essen und leckeres Bier was will man mehr :-)

Bestes Schnitzel ever! Wenn man es nicht wüsste, denkt man, es ist ein echtes Kalbsschnitzel. Saftig, knusprige Panade, der Salat ist lecker und die Bratkartoffeln ein Traum.

Auf der Karte ausschließlich Gerichte mit Fleisch, selbst der Salat. Alkoholfreie Getränke gibt’s nur langweiligen Standard, Cola, Limo, Apfelschorle, Malzbier, Wasser. Auf Nachfrage, ob es vielleicht wenigstens Rhabarberschorle gäbe, wurde ich vom Chef als bescheuert betitelt, und eine Freundin, die in diesem Moment gerade ankam, wurde mit den Worten begrüßt „Herzlich Willkommen, hoffentlich sind Sie nicht so bescheuert wie die da, die will Rhabarbersaft!“ Geht sowas?? Nein!

Wir kommen regelmäßig montags zum Meck - dann, wenn viele Lintorfer Restaurants ihren Ruhetag haben, geht es hier richtig zur Sache. Das freundliche und professionelle Personal bietet den passenden Rahmen für preiswerte Schnitzelgerichte - dazu das schön kühle und frische Schlüssel vom Fass. Prima!
