Very nice to sit outside in the summer. Great layout with a small pond and gondolas to sit in. Also nice to eat inside. It's best to call in advance for opening times and to reserve a place. If you like cheese, you've come to the right place. Cheese dairy right next door.

Very nice location and delicious food. It's a shame that no caraway was served with the cheese, otherwise everything was great.

A nice restaurant with a great outdoor area. The service is very friendly. The cooked cheese schnitzel was simply delicious. Highly recommended.

It was too cold outside the room. Got four seats inside. Which were well heated from above.

Great simple kitchen. In summer you can enjoy a great atmosphere outside. But the interior design is also very nice. Staff are nice and accommodating. Food and drinks arrive in a few minutes.

We were there recently, just wanted to have a drink and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to stay there, even though everything inside was free and there were two tables outside too. We were a bit disappointed.

It was very nice, gladly again. If you are looking for a location to celebrate, you should take a look.

The food was very good. Unfortunately one of the waitresses wasn't very friendly. We were with 3 people at a table of 6. There was a sign at the entrance saying “we are fully booked.” When a couple was looking for a place, we asked them to come to our place. Unfortunately, a very unfriendly waitress came and sent them away because they hadn't made a reservation. Over half the tables were empty. Apparently our table was reserved again. We weren't told anything about this. That probably didn't correspond to the facts either. Someone is probably overwhelmed here. We then went somewhere else

Cozy atmosphere. Rich menu with cheese variants. Arrange salad from the buffet to suit your own taste. 👍 Each guest receives a card with a number and the order is registered on this card, great idea 💡 Service very organized deserves 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 + Location noted for repeat 😉

It's really nice to sit in the pond garden. Our food was delicious. Conditions very friendly.

It was my first time here and I really liked it. Above all, I really enjoyed the Odenwald girl. I will definitely come again.

We had a table right by the pond. Very nice. Food good and inexpensive. Service also good. Noticeable. There is a sign right at the entrance - everything is occupied, completely booked. We spent 2 hours there but there were plenty of tables available. Is there a new marketing concept? Added value through scarcity? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Unfriendly service, no time. All seats occupied even though all seats inside were free. No accommodation. So we were there once, and definitely not a second time.

First of all - food was ok, generous portions and since a lot is prepared, it goes very quickly. The table service was quick and friendly! Now the but: We were there on Sunday shortly before 2 p.m. because we spontaneously wanted to stop off on the way home. There was a sign at the entrance saying it was completely booked... Ok - we asked anyway, saying we only wanted to eat and stay for a maximum of an hour. After some back and forth, we were offered a place inside, which we gladly accepted. At that time there were 2 tables occupied inside and maybe 3 outside. Now we were also there with a dog, who unfortunately wasn't allowed into the inside... So we asked if the table was available right next to the floor-to-ceiling window. No - everything is occupied. Actually we should have said goodbye by then, but we had old people with us and they wanted to stay. When we left at almost exactly 3 p.m., of the 130 seats outside, about 50 were occupied and 20 inside... And it didn't look like there was a rush... So it would have been possible to sell a table outside twice and give us a more pleasant one to create ambience. I understand that you don't want to upset guests who have booked (but aren't there yet) - but guests who are on site - i.e. are already willing to make sales there - we would have liked more flexibility. Conclusion for us: food ok, but not exceptional. More flexibility desirable...

On a trip to the beautiful Odenwald, a dinner in the cheese room in the pond garden with original Odenwald cheese should not be missed. Our table reservation was spontaneously moved from the interior to the beautiful pond garden, thank you again for that! Our food, farmer's plate and Odenwälder snack plate, were very tasty and really plentiful! But we were particularly impressed by the mixture of Äppler and Spritz: the Odenwälder Girl. Incredibly good new interpretation from Äppler! Thank you for the wonderful end to our trip to the Odenwald!

Very nice and the food was good. Unfortunately at 6 p.m. there wasn't much choice left in the salad buffet. We only got a table for 6 p.m. and it was already over at 7 p.m. and had to leave. We thought that was a shame

We were there for the first time today and what can I say...absolutely great!!! Mega friendly service, the food was delicious and plentiful and the overall package was perfect. The outdoor area is incredibly beautiful...it makes you look forward to summer. We will be regular guests there in the future.

Super Personal, klasse Ambiente Leckeres Essen . Gerne wieder!!

Superfreundliche Bedienung, tolles Essen, Klasse Ambiente. Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten Mal.

Leider bei weitem keine 5 Sterne. Wir waren bei ca 30 Grad dort, hatten vorher reserviert. Mussten im Imnenbereich sitzen obwohl die Tische draußen leer waren und in den über 2 Stunden die wir da waren, kamen auch keine Leute. Sehr lange Wartezeit für das Essen und die Getränke. Nach ca. 30 Minuten bekamen wir unsere Getränke und danach musste wir nochmal 45 Minuten aufs Essen warten. Zu dem Kochkäse gab es 4 kleine Stücke einfaches Brot (wie ausm automat vom Aldi) , noch nichtmal Bauernbrot, das bekamen wir erst nachdem wir nochmal eine extra Portion Brot bestellt haben (natürlich gegen extra Berechnung). Alles in allem sehr enttäuschent.

Essen war ok aber halt sehr wenig dafür relativ günstig. Aber es war ein schöner Abend in entspannter Atmosphäre
