A very nice restaurant with very friendly service; even the owner came to our table. The food was very good, although not very spicy (you can get spicier dishes if you order or ask, I only found that out after eating). It was my first time there and I was very pleasantly surprised.

I've been going to my favorite Indian restaurant in Landau for years. Mr. Kuldip is always very courteous and kind, even to our children. He simply knows how to present himself as a host. We always feel comfortable there. The food tastes very authentic, and we always eat very well. I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We ate Indian food for the first time and were more than pleasantly surprised! For starters, we had Keema Nan and Samosa. Both were delicious. For my taste, Keema Nan is the absolute best! The portion size (similar to a pizza bread) is also perfectly adequate and the price is justified. For our main courses, we had Haryali Chicken Tandoori and Butter Chicken. Again, both are highly recommended and a good size. Personally, I found the Haryali Chicken Tandoori a bit too minty, but for those who like mint, it should be a great dish! As an additional side dish, we had Butter Nan. Again, I highly recommend it to everyone! It's incredibly delicious and definitely worth trying in all its variations. The service was very friendly and attentive. They checked on us several times to make sure we were okay. The food arrived relatively quickly after we ordered, even though the restaurant was only moderately busy. All in all, we were extremely satisfied and will definitely come back!

Really good naan! The portions are a good size, and it's also great for takeaway! I particularly enjoyed the Indian salad, and the sauces are also excellent. Very satisfied!

Of all the Indian restaurants I've been to so far—and I eat there quite often—this was truly the tastiest! We tried a few things together, and everything tasted incredibly delicious and authentic. The chicken used is really tender. The mango lassi is highly recommended. There are also many vegetarian and vegan dishes—so, in my opinion, there's a good selection for everyone. It's a shame I live so far away and was only here for vacation—I would probably eat here or order food every week :) Service was also very friendly and accommodating. I would also give this place 6 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The best Indian food I've ever had, and I've eaten at Indian restaurants in many major cities in Germany and Southeast Asia. Very attentive and fast service, the chicken was super tender, and the naan bread was also excellent. You can taste the tandoori oven. Everything is super fresh and, in my opinion, authentically seasoned. The spiciness was also on point. Prices are more than fair, and portion sizes are good. Card payments are also accepted.

We had a wonderful visit to this Indian restaurant! The welcome was incredibly warm and friendly, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The service was first-class – the staff were attentive, courteous, and genuinely cared about us. The food was simply delicious, full of authentic flavors and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

As a participant in the Pre-Tour of Hope, I traveled with many like-minded people in the Landau region to raise funds for people with leukemia and children in need. The Tandoori restaurant provided a great opportunity to have dinner in a friendly atmosphere. All the food was excellent, and the competent staff contributed to a pleasant stay. I must especially mention that the owner, upon learning why the Pre-Tour of Hope was traveling in Landau, spontaneously donated €100 to the good cause during our stop at the town hall square.

The best Indian restaurant I've ever been to!

So far we have only been able to use the delivery service. Unfortunately we only discovered it during the Corona period. But since then I have been ordering again and again. The food is very good. We have tried a variety of dishes and have always been very satisfied. Delivery always came on time. We are looking forward to stopping by on site. Edit: We have now also been there. The positive impression has been confirmed. The food is great, the service is very nice and attentive. I find the restaurant to be a little cramped, but overall very nice with the appropriate decoration.

Very friendly and fast service. Preheated plates and warmers are supposed to keep the food hot, but this would work better if the hot food weren't placed in very cold metal bowls, or if the rice was only heated to lukewarm. The dishes themselves were edible, but it could be better. I like okra, so I have a comparison to other chefs. Coincidentally, I had the same dish at two other Indian restaurants last week; they were a bit more expensive, but the taste was considerably better. At least this dish had noticeable cinnamon bark in it; I could definitely crunch it in my mouth, but I put the largest piece back ;-) Otherwise, the dish was very 'mild'. 😌 My chai, cooked with spices and milk, was also very 'light' in flavor; I've had worse, but also better, chai in restaurants. My wife had paneer with leaf spinach, edible, but not something she'd repeat. Everyone's tastes differ, but for us, the food here isn't necessarily a reason to come back, sorry. After the meal, my stomach started to rumble a bit, no idea what it was. But I was soon gone again.

I've visited the Tandoori several times, this time as a couple and used the small terrace or outside seating area for the first time. As always, we were thrilled. The menu is extensive, the dishes are lovingly prepared and very tasty. The boss is friendly and attentive, what more could you want? I'm already looking forward to my next visit there!

Indian restaurant well located in the center of Landau. Delicious food and generous portions. The mango lassi is one of the best I've ever had and the Butter Chicken is delicious. What stole the night, however, was the sohan papri dessert. Exquisite! The owner is very nice and a good conversationalist.

One of the best restaurants in Landau. Where can you get such delicious food at such a reasonable price? Very varied menu that is easy to understand even for non-Indians. There is absolutely nothing to complain about the quality of the food; Everything was very deliciously prepared, tender meat, great spices, tasty sauces. We'll try the lunch menu soon - unbeatable price. Yes, the ambience outside is not really cozy; but is not possible on this street either. It's ok inside.

Food: starter platter “lovingly prepared, see picture, main course below average, in the tandoori dish the chicken meat (pressed meat) was totally dry, fried “dead”, so to speak Service: when ordering the food, after the question about spiciness, the boss gave you a lecture like a teacher, you felt like a toddler, so not acceptable Ambiance: the restaurant has apparently seen better days, one wall in the dining room was completely covered in stains and splashes... not exactly a pretty sight... Conclusion: we have been to many Indian restaurants all over Germany, but we don't have to go here anymore, sorry...

Wir waren am Samstag Abend zu viert dort essen. Das Personal ist super freundlich, sehr aufmerksam, man fühlt sich wie Zuhause. Wir hatten Vorspeise und Hauptgericht, alles war sehr lecker, leichte Schärfe bei einem Gericht. Super lecker🤩 der Mango Lassi war auch sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Schon seit 10 Jahren unser Lieblings-Inder in der Region um Landau. Der Service ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, das Essen lecker und ohne lange Wartezeit auf dem Tisch, das Ambiente gemütlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fair (geteilte Vorspeise, 2 Hauptspeisen, 2 Lassis und 1 Getränk unter 50€). Wir waren schon lange nicht mehr dort, waren gestern aber wieder begeistert. Gerne kommen wir bald wieder!

We had a really good dinner at INDIAN TANDOORI. The service was both attentive and friendly in the warm cozy and romantic atmosphere with Punjabi music in the background. We had sizzling Cheese and Mushroom for appetizer. We enjoyed the vegetarian and Non vegetarian entry with fresh Tandoori Naan and Missi roti. We have ordered Mixed veg, Shahi Paneer, Chicken Masala and Lamb Saag. Each dish has his own distinctive flavor ant texture. The chicken was tender,spiced well. Mix veg again tender, separate pieces that are neither tough nor greasy. The Saag(lamb saag) was fine , as in fine dining finely minced Spinach that doesn’t get stuck in your teeth and has a layered set of spices. Sublime , My husband can almost dismiss the heat because the flavor were so good. Final quote, of course but only YUM YUM YUM

Ich habe schon mehrfach sehr gut gegessen und der Service ist immer hervorragend. Mir schmeckt es sehr und das Essen ist sehr bekömmlich. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt. Deshalb versuche ich mindestens 1x wöchentlich da zum Essen hinzugehen.

Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut. Wir sind nett bedient worden. Dem Restaurant fehlt ein schöner Außenbereich für die warme Jahreszeit.
