For a garden restaurant it is excellent. The cuisine is excellent and home-style. There is a wonderful view in the beer garden.

Here you will find a typical local pub in the GDR style, the furnishings have a living room feel and the table decorations also seem to have been either collected at the flea market or made by yourself. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The exception to this is the owner, who seems rather unsympathetic and treats his guests less benevolently. The offer of this restaurant includes good home-style cooking at an acceptable price - if the quality is right. I have never eaten worse in a restaurant, the only acceptable food is the chips and beans. Otherwise, I don't know what to recommend, everything I've tried so far could be cooked better by a 13-year-old blindfolded. Okay, that might be a bit harsh, but how can you cook schnitzel and currywurst wrong? The schnitzel is so fatty that the breading is soggy. And the currywurst itself is good, but the sauce- well... curry ketchup was apparently sold out, so tomato ketchup with curry powder was served as the sauce. Very daring, very avant-garde, if you want to put it bluntly. The drinks also leave a lot to be desired. So even if it seems cheap and tempting. The offer is not worth the price, anyone who doesn't let the water burn can cook these dishes better at home.

I was invited here as part of a birthday party and... oh boy, where do I start? We went in and sat at the table, so far so good. A little later the owner came and said that we had pre-ordered roulades for everyone on the phone (which, by the way, the organizer of the birthday dinner didn't do that). There was a little discussion and it was agreed that a few of us would take pity on eating the roulade. Those who didn't like it could then order something from the menu. First impression: Not that likeable. We then looked at the menu a bit and ordered something to drink. I asked for a Kiba, which I got. I took a sip with pleasure, only to realize that the drink was certainly half diluted with water. Disappointing. To eat I then decided on a classic pork schnitzel. I've eaten quite a few schnitzels in my life, some were good, some not so good, but this schnitzel? The breading was dripping with fat and was just soggy. Anything but a positive taste experience. The highlight was ordering a currywurst. I don't know how you prepare currywurst, but I definitely don't use tomato ketchup and I sprinkle some curry powder on top. The whole thing would have been better if an employee had taken the 10 minute walk and picked up a bottle of curry ketchup from Aldi. At least the fries were good, which was the only positive taste experience. The waiters were all nice, the boss was rather unsympathetic as described at the beginning. All in all: Not recommended.

Very tasty food, very friendly owner and nice service. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, familiar. The prices are definitely reasonable for this delicious home-style home cooking. In summer, the shady, cozy beer garden invites you to enjoy a cool blonde drink. Highly recommended!

Eine typische Gaststätte in einer Gartenanlage die stets gut besucht ist. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist groß, man bekommt das Essen relativ zügig und die Preise sind human. Leider sind die Räumlichkeiten etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber wo soll das Geld auch herkommen...ich bin im Sommer immer sehr gern hier und genieße die Zeit mit meinen Freunden bei einem kühlen Hopfentee.
