Gaststätte Heidehof in Harsewinkel

We were there for the first time. It's a cozy restaurant with friendly staff. I had a delicious pizza for around €11 (I don't remember the price), and my mother had a Hawaiian schnitzel with fried potatoes and salad for €15.90. We were very satisfied with the food. We were there again on October 19, 2025. Today I had a Jägerschnitzel with fries and salad, which was very tasty. We'll be back again.

I can only review the restaurant and not the rooms, as we were only there for dinner. Unfortunately, we had to admit that steaks aren't their strong suit. The pizza was good, but among the meat specialties, one medium steak was cooked to the sole of a shoe, making it almost impossible to eat. And then, unfortunately, there weren't enough steaks for all the guests. As I said, the pizza and salad were good, as was the Italian starter, but the meat dishes weren't. This is also why the hotel gave the 3*, as several meat dishes weren't cooked to the desired degree.

Very nice beer garden and super delicious pizza

I recently visited the Heidehof restaurant and was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is warm and cozy – you immediately feel welcome. The food was excellent: fresh, lovingly prepared, and with a regional touch. I particularly enjoyed the stone-baked pizza – simply perfect! The service was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. You can tell the passion they put into their work. The value for money is also absolutely spot on. A true highlight in the region – I will definitely be back and can highly recommend the Heidehof to everyone!

We really liked it there. The pizza from the stone oven was excellent - crispy base that couldn't be better. The innkeeper was extremely friendly and accommodating. We would definitely like to come back!

I ordered “salmon alla grilla” here. The food was prepared and served in a short time. The food was very tasty and I really enjoyed it. The owner comes from Albania and currently does not offer any Albanian dishes.

Kitchen not as good as in summer

I've rarely eaten such delicious pizza. All fresh ingredients and freshly grilled straight from the stone oven. Many Italian restaurants can't compete. Good value for money, too.

The food was subpar, the fried potatoes weren't really crispy, the fried potatoes were just greasy mushroom schnitzel with a sweet sauce and I felt sick afterwards. I will never go there and eat again

An excellent restaurant with a great location, especially for bike tours and breaks on a long journey. The atmosphere and service are impeccable and the food is amazing. You can always expect a visit from me.

We were there yesterday to drink coffee. When we asked about cake we were told they didn't have any cake on offer. When we replied that it was a shame and that we would have a cappuccino and a wheat, the waiter looked slightly irritated, but remained friendly. When he told her we were 3/4 full of our drinks, the waiter came to ask if we wanted anything else. When we said no, he asked if he could bring the bill. Felt like being kicked out, even though the place wasn't very busy and there were still a lot of tables available. The beer garden as such is clean, but very sterile and careless (almost completely paved), and we didn't particularly like the location right on a busy street.

We passed by there on a bike tour and sat in the beer garden in the best weather. The service is great, everyone is really friendly. Had a good drink and ate pizza. The pizza is super delicious. Afterwards we got an ouzo on the house. The prices are also very good. We recommend!

First visit, the restaurant is located on the outskirts of Harsewinkel The service was friendly and attentive. The dishes we ordered were appetizingly prepared and tasted okay. The price-performance ratio is right. Will definitely come back again!

So if you are closed until January 31st, 2024, you should have an answering machine and write a text on the tape that you have closed or post on the Internet that the restaurants are closed. Very, very poor performance... you can still work on it, but quickly.

We wanted to go there for dinner with our friends last night and were very surprised to find a completely empty restaurant. So we didn't know at first whether we should stay at all. But then we decided to go for it. During the time we were there, no other guests came. It was admittedly a bit scary. Even though we were the only ones, they weren't particularly attentive to us, for example when it came to drinks. There was hardly any question as to whether there were any further wishes. Our stone oven pizza was very tasty, the schnitzel was of mediocre quality. Since we didn't really feel comfortable there, we would refrain from visiting the restaurant again. ADDENDUM, REACTION TO RESPONSE FROM THE RESTAURANT OWNER: We were there shortly before 8 p.m., which should include peak business hours for a restaurant or pub on a Saturday evening, I think. No one else came in the entire time. Of course you're happy when a restaurant isn't overcrowded, but that was very unusual

There were four of us with a dog. The food, schnitzel, lasagna and the vegetarian cannelloni were really a dream. Everything tasted very fresh and the waiters were very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back. Thank you .

Größte Enttäuschung überhaupt ! Einkehr auf einer Radtour. Der Biergarten ist nett. Der Kellner kann Bestellung nur anhand der Nummern aus der Speisekarte aufnehmen. Daher wurde zunächst ein falsches Gericht serviert. Der bestellte Vorspeisenteller war alles andere als ein Genuss. Das Pizzabrot war verbrannt ; das "gegrillte Gemüse" versalzen und verpfeffert, sowie roh; die gefärbten , schwarzen Oliven von minderer Qualität; aber besonders abstoßend war eine " Deckschicht" aus billigem Parmesanpulver. Wurst und Schinken hatten (daher) keinen feststellbaren Eigengeschmack. Das Beschwerdemanagement ist verbesserungwürdig. Die sachlich vorgetragene Kritik wurde mit einem breiten Grinsen quittiert, von einer Entschuldigung keine Spur. (Der eine Stern wird nur vergeben, weil ohne Stern kein Post möglich ist.)

Mega leckere Pizzen und cooles Ambiente. Der Biergarten lädt zum Verweilen ein 👍 Der Chef ist zuvorkommend und wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt 😊 Das wird nicht unser letzter Besuch gewesen sein!

Der Biergarten ist wunderschön und lädt zum gemütlichen verweilen ein Das Personal ist super nett und total locker drauf, vor allem der Chef Nasser ist ein super Typ! Das Essen ist super köstlich, die Portionen sind echt groß und die Preise sind einfach spitze. Im Gesamtpaket einfach ein super Lokal, würde ich immer wieder weiterempfehlen und vor allem selbst immer wieder besuchen.

Sehr leckeres und preiswertes Essen. Meiner Meinung nach das beste deutsch-italienische Restaurant im Kreis. Von der Lage perfekt, da es direkt am Radweg liegt. Auch die Bedienung war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend.

Sehr leckere Steinofen-Pizzen. Bei den anderen Gerichten scheint der Verantwortliche in der Küche gewechselt zu haben - leider nicht zum Vorteil. Die Preise haben extrem stark angezogen.

Wir waren mit unserem Motorradstammtisch vor Ort. Wir waren total begeistert, von der Vielfältigkeit der Gerichte auf der Speisekarte, von deren Qualität. Besonders herzlich und freundlich die Bedienung am Tisch, die Beratung und Aufmerksamkeit. Wir sind in unserer Gruppe wirklich überrascht gewesen, dass wirklich ALLE Gerichte absolut Klasse waren. Die sanitären Anlagen, ebenfalls sehr gut in Ordnung. Wir möchten uns herzlich bedanken und wir kommen wieder.

Sehr schönes Lokal liegt direkt am Ems Radweg mit einem schönen Biergarten. Essen ist top die Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr nette Bedienung. Essen war auch gut und teilweise, bei Hamburger und Schnitzel sogar richtig große Portionen.

Waren dort mit der ganzen Familie. Obwohl wir mit einer vielzahl von Personen ankamen, hat uns das Personal toll untergebracht und sich sehr nett um uns gekümmert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und unsere Bestellungen wurden binnen weniger Minuten gebracht. Das Heidehofsteak war definitiv das Beste Steak was ich je in dieser Umgebung gegessen habe. Sehr zart und perfekt mariniert. Meine Kinder waren ebenfalls mit der Kinderportion sehr zufrieden und haben sich sogar gewünscht nochmal das Restaurant zu besuchen. Die Preise waren ebenfalls TOP!! Vorallem im Sommer im Biergarten ist das ein tolles Erlebnis. Ich schließe mich meinen Kinden an und werde definitiv nochmal kommen. Danke es solch ein tolles Restaurant in unserer Nähe gibt. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
