We arrived at this rather unique pub from the Eibenstock spa gardens. It was a real eye-catcher, even from the outside. Inside, we immediately felt at home – everyone was so welcoming. We were even asked again if we'd like to move to another table. We enjoyed lovely music, delicious food, good wine, and very friendly service, and we were almost the last customers. Underground When we arrived, the restaurant was packed, inside and outside, but we were welcome to sit down upon request. The previous occupants' table was cleared within the next hour and a half. Drinks arrived after an hour, food after two and a half hours, despite repeated requests. They then apologized and offered us schnapps on empty stomachs. What's the point of that? There wasn't even a regular courtesy drink, and this pizza that comes in miniature as standard—what's all this nonsense? Suddenly, the prices aren't cheap anymore. The menu even says something about generous portions, but it's the opposite. The food is so mediocre, but I can't offer 500 seats if I can only serve 50. The decor and the menu are great, but unfortunately, that doesn't help. If they had told us at the beginning that they couldn't make it, we would have gone somewhere else, but by the time we realized it, it was already too late. Apparently, most people felt the same way we did.

I can briefly recommend this restaurant; the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. If you like rustic and rustic food, this is the place for you. We ate here after a hike at the Blauenthal Waterfall, and we brought our dog, who was warmly welcomed. A bowl of water was immediately provided for him, so, as I said, the staff are very, very friendly. We will definitely stop there again on our next visit to Eibenstock. 😊😊

We were there for the third time today. At 5:30 p.m., we were the only ones in the assigned room. We placed our order, but after an hour and a half, we only received drinks. Others arrived later, had eaten, and had just paid. When we asked, we were met with only excuses. That was enough for us. We won't be back soon.

We waited 25 minutes for drinks, then an hour and 45 minutes for our pizzas. During that time, no one came to inform us that it was taking longer. We sat there with a small child and watched as everyone who arrived after us had their food brought to the table (still with just as long a wait). After repeatedly asking, they just told us they were checking and that there were only two of them today. Only when my mood sank and I said we were leaving without food did our pizza finally arrive. When it arrived, I couldn't believe my eyes. The size listed as standard on the menu was at most the size of a children's pizza. The taste was not good (neither the Pizza Franzie nor the Pizza Funghi). The Pizza Funghi was overseasoned, the Pizza Franzie underseasoned. Finally, we were given a gym bag as compensation. A nice gesture, but it didn't fill me up. At the end, a waitress argued with me that I could have asked what size the regular pizza was in the restaurant nicknamed "the slightly different pub." This mini size is standard for them, since they're a slightly different pub. In my opinion, they could simply write the pizza size on the menu! That would at least be honest. I was also cynically told that I could read the positive reviews. I replied that I'd had enough time in the meantime and had already done so, but I wouldn't change my mind. I've never experienced anything like this before! Note the saying on our table in the background of the photo. I took it to heart and approached two waitresses about my dissatisfaction. While the first one said she agreed with me and would pass on my tip—mentioning the pizza size on the menu—to the manager, saying it was up to her staff, the other one argued with me at the end. A real shame!

This is a truly quaint pub. We arrived right after it opened and managed to get a free table. The next guests arrived every five minutes; everyone had reservations. Almost everything was full in no time, with two empty tables inside due to the beer garden. The service was very friendly. It started out quite quickly, but then the girls started bustling around, and we still had to wait a while. We really enjoyed the food, and the value for money is excellent!

We ate here a while ago. It took a while for our food to arrive, but it was delicious. Everything is beautifully decorated, and the staff was very friendly. We'd also ordered something during the coronavirus pandemic, and it was just as delicious then.

Unfortunately, the food is a minus point. A meat dish with half a handful of fries. Far too little. Also, very little meat. The pizza can't have been freshly prepared. I haven't had such an industrial pizza in a long time. However, the service and atmosphere were very good.

A really great, rustic atmosphere. The term “the slightly different pub” completely fits here. Service super friendly and attentive, the "red flag" works perfectly. Waiting for the food was too long, but in the end the taste was great (fresh ingredients on the pizza, delicious seasoned meat) and the prices were really fair. We are happy to recommend it and would come back if we stay in Eibenstock again.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food is amazing, everyone is very friendly, and above all, child-friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic. Even in summer, the castle garden with its sandbox for the kids is a dream. We'd love to come back.

Today there were five of us + dog in this quaint pub. We received a warm welcome and great service. Larger dogs are also welcome...we had a great seating area and water for the dog was a given. The food is home-style and generously portioned dishes. We'd love to come back on holiday next year.

Wow - just wow I have never eaten such delicious bread. The tomato soup was very spicy, the pizza was very tasty and in a pleasant size. The ice cream was also delicious. The service was extremely personable and extremely friendly. We don't need to talk about the pleasant prices. When we're back here we'll be back here for dinner. And recommendations to friends and family are already out ;)

Good evening. Yesterday we spent a day in Eibenstock and in the evening in this wonderful hospitality. We were enchanted by the ambience and the good dinner. There was also a great service who looked after us very well. Our rating: Very good!!!

“The slightly different pub” in the middle of Eibenstock. Rustic inside with great attention to detail and a large, cozy beer garden outside. Parking is available, toilets can only be reached via stairs. Very friendly staff and the food tastes great. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Ideal for celebrations with the club, for example, as there are several rooms of different sizes.

Quaintly furnished and extremely well attended. You should pre-order. We still got a place to eat at the bar. The staff tries everything. Probably nothing else going on in the place, hence the rush. Food was good, really. Not a star restaurant but good. Normally priced today. So I would stop by there again if I were nearby.

Small and cozy. If you stay overnight in the area, e.g. At the Hotel am Bühl, the restaurant is a must. Since the restaurant probably has a good reputation, you should be prepared to wait when ordering food. But it's worth it.

Super Laden, wir sind ganz spontan gekommen um für 25 Personen Pizza zu bestellen. Nicht nur das es gar kein Problem ist, wir wurden super nett empfangen, es wurde von Herzen erledigt und sogar mitgedacht, dass es in unserer Unterkunft keine Teller usw. gibt und das wir es kriegen. Der Laden ist voll, keiner gestresst, alle locker und herzlich-freundlich. UNGLAUBLICH SUPER

Essen war wirklich super lecker...es gibt Bier vom Fass, Cocktails, Wein, Schnäpse/ Liköre für jeden was dabei ..die Portionen vom Essen sind reichlich..Toiletten waren sehr sauber ..das Personal ist sehr freundlich..man muss bloß immer länger warten für die nächste Bestellung aber sonst war ich super überrascht..ich werde wieder dort hin gehen ..nur zu empfehlen👍🏻

Dieses Restaurant hat uns heute einfach dermaßen geflasht! Ein ins letzte Detail ausgeklügeltes Ambiente hat uns schon beim Reingehen beeindruckt. Direkt wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und an einen freien Tisch begleitet, schnell hatten wir unsre Getränke und uns blieb gar nicht viel Zeit, um die unzähligen Details der Innenarchitektur des Restaurants zu begutachten, da schon nach kurzer Zeit unser Essen auf dem Tisch stand, wohlgemerkt seeehr lecker! Wir bedanken uns für einen schönen Abend und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Es fehlt vielleicht etwas Hintergrundmusik im Biergarten, ansonsten empfehlenswert

Fazit voraus: gute Werbung, nichts dahinter. Freundlicher aufmerksamer Kellner. Das war schon der Pluspunkt. Zur Sache : bestellt wurde 1 alkoholfreies Bier und 0,5l Bitter Lemon. Bier war Radeberger, einwandfrei, kalt, frisch. Das Bitter Lemon war eine warme Plörre, bei der mit drei Eiswürfeln versucht wurde, die Temperatur in einen trinkbaren Bereich zu bringen. Vergeblich. Schwerpunkt des Restaurants ist Pizza. Pizza normale Größe bestellt. Einmal mit Pilzen, einmal Vegetarisch. Beide grauenhaft. Klein, sehr klein, schon für eine Kinderpizza zu klein. Foto: normaler Teller mit dieser sogenannten Pizza. Weicher durchsafteter Boden statt kross, die Pilze und das Gemüse waren meiner Meinung nach mit Analogkäse, also einem Käse aus Pflanzenöl und nicht aus Kuhmilch, so zugekleistert, dass man keine Zutaten mehr erkennen konnte. Kurz: eine schreckliche Pampe auf einem Pampe Boden. Aber jetzt kommt Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Die Wartezeit von der Bestellung bis zum Servieren dieser kulinarischen Tragödie war nur kurz über eine Stunde, und es wurde nur Gas gegeben, da ich mich als sagen wir mal "Internet Berichterstatter" zu erkennen gegeben habe. Da kam dann Schwung in den Laden. Ich füge einige Bilder bei. Ein Bild sagt mehr als tausend Worte. Keine Empfehlung, recht viel schlechter kanns woanders kaum werden.

Urige Kneipe mit Retroflair. Leckere Pizzen, Steaks, Schnitzel und ein Wirt mit speziellem Charme und handfestem Humor. Leider oft sehr lange Wartezeiten. Kellner sind immer flott unterwegs, können sich nur nicht zerteilen. Leider kann man sich kein Personal stricken, Mangel ist in der Gastronomie deutlich spürbar. Macht weiter so, wir kommen immer wieder!

Freundliche Bedienung . Sehr gute Leistung bei der Speisekarte und deren Gestaltung. Essen Angebote sind vielfältig und abwechslungsreich . Essen ist gut. Die Ausstattung der Gaststätte ist sehr schön und der Geschichte des Hauses angepasst

Von außen etwas unscheinbar, erwartet einen innen eine sehr originelle Einrichtung. Hinzukommen auch besondere Spezialitäten, wie ich sie so noch nicht probiert hatte, z.B. eine Würzfleischpizza. Sehr lecker!

Wir waren Anfang Juni 2023 in Eibenstock in der Therme und waren Abends im Städtchen etwas essen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Service und dem Essen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
