Highest German praise: You can't complain!

It's a very cozy and friendly restaurant, perfect for a casual evening meal, a birthday party, or for guests of the surrounding gardens. Although the menu is small, there's still something for everyone. The food is delicious, and you don't have to wait long. The staff is also very friendly and extremely helpful. Whether you're big or small, old or young, everyone is truly welcome here. In conclusion, eating here is absolutely recommended.

I really enjoy eating at different restaurants, but today's meal hasn't been as good in a long time. I had a roulade with bacon-wrapped beans, served with a dumpling and a bread dumpling. There was plenty of sauce and beans, and the roulade was a decent size. The taste was absolutely outstanding, and even though the prices are already moderate, the portion size was even more impressive!

We were there for an Ossi dinner with a play. Very well done.

You've done a really nice job. You can also sit outside under the large chestnut trees.

Unfortunately, the photos of the food don't match the reality at all. The plates were more like animal bowls, the food was bland, the sauce watery, and overall, the presentation was very poor. We can't vouch for the positive review in the "Thüringer Allgemeine" newspaper. We tried it and found it extremely poor. Furthermore, we were all over 60 years old and were addressed informally by the owner. Certainly not a problem for regulars, but not generally.

Old review below. As announced, we ate here again. Roasted pork, farmer's breakfast, and burgers. Everything was significantly better than last time. Even simple dishes are now beautifully presented. Fresh salad, light, delicate dressing. Everything was well seasoned and flavored. This isn't a criticism of the chef; the pork was cooked to perfection, still slightly pink, but still tough. That speaks for inferior meat; maybe buy somewhere else; it doesn't have to be a private butcher shop. Bottled beer wasn't quite cold, but otherwise everything was good. Now the Dahlie is the best garden restaurant I've ever known, perhaps on its way to becoming something truly special! Thank you very much! New tenants, a lot has already been done, bit by bit, certainly. The whole thing there has potential, but it's far from being fully utilized. The food, unfortunately, was nothing. The schnitzel, goulash, and chicken breast were unfortunately dry. The spiced meat (hence the name) was supposed to be spicy, but it tasted of nothing. The dumplings were unfortunately made from a ready-made mixture. The fries and ox cheeks were very good, though. The service was friendly, but overwhelmed; something was always missing, and we had to wait a long time for everything. We'll definitely go there again to see if the restaurant industry has improved.

I was at the "Dahlie" restaurant—to be honest... They seemed to be trying to manage the beer garden and an event in the hall at the same time—almost like a juggling act with too few hands. Staff was short and not always experienced, so chaos threatened at times. The restaurant business is a tough one—hats off to anyone who can manage everything at once!

We visited the restaurant again with a larger group. Reservations can be made by phone or WhatsApp. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. The staff is very friendly. Restrooms are clean and well-maintained.

The service was very good and the food was also very tasty

We went there today with the whole family for the first time since the renovation. I had the recommended Wagyu beef goulash with dumplings and cauliflower and was extremely satisfied. The goulash was buttery soft and very flavorful. The dumplings and cauliflower were also delicious. The sauce for the kids' dumplings was also amazing. The spiced beef could have used a bit more seasoning (according to the family), but it was still delicious overall. The schnitzel and fries were as they should be. The service was very friendly, and the new ambiance was very inviting. Everything was clean and well-maintained. One or two more desserts on the menu would have been nice. For example, ice cream or maybe a cake. Overall, the new concept impressed us, and we'll definitely be back and hope this restaurant continues to thrive ☺️

We spent a lovely evening here on Ascension Day. With live music and pleasant company. It's a garden restaurant with a beer garden, and of course, it was packed on the holiday. The service nevertheless made every effort to satisfy all needs. The food was authentic and delicious. We can happily recommend it.

Review of our celebration at the Dahlie Erfurt We celebrated a milestone birthday with around 50 guests at the Dahlie Erfurt – and it was simply fantastic! The buffet was an absolute dream: varied, fresh, lovingly prepared, and a true highlight in terms of flavor. All of our guests were thrilled! The drinks were also excellent – ​​a fantastic selection and truly delicious. A huge thank you to Janine and André and the entire team: The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and incredibly prompt – we couldn't have asked for better. The cooperation beforehand was uncomplicated, warm, and absolutely professional. Janine and André really thought of everything and had our backs so we could simply enjoy our evening. Thank you so much for this unforgettable celebration – we wholeheartedly recommend the Dahlie Erfurt and would love to come back!

A beautiful beer garden, delicious food, nice staff

Good home cooking at normal prices. There is also a nice beer garden that invites you to linger. We'd love to come back...!!!

What a great GDR evening. Just the idea of ​​matching GDR specialties. Everything was perfect and there was definitely something for every taste. And the special highlight was the musical background with a great DJ who played many well-known GDR songs. You could sing along and feel like you were transported back to the old days. Oh and Udo was there too. An all-round successful evening. Great what you Andre and you Janine did and of course managed with the large participation. Hats off. It was just beautiful. Very good garden restaurant with seasonal offers. There's still a lot of work to be done on the building, but it's nice that there's something decent nearby again. Even with vegetarian dishes.

We had our Christmas party in the Dahlie restaurant, we were allowed to move chairs and tables as we wanted. The super nice hosts fulfilled all of our wishes. We would like to thank you again, the delicious food was just right

Super tasty food, very inconspicuous but great ambience, small but very good. Recommended reserved if possible. Very open-minded people. Had starter and main course. Price performance was very good, it was still under €40. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be happy to stop by again 😉. Keep it up, we were very surprised that we started talking to people very quickly.

I really have to say a big compliment to the new owner. After the old owner let everything run down and only drank alcohol, the new owner brought everything back into shape. It has become a very nice, cozy restaurant with great facilities where you can really feel at home. The food tastes so delicious 😋 especially cooked by the boss himself that we will now visit it regularly. The offering is small but really nice. Now the word just has to get out that people will go there again. So you can eat there and also hold events. And something else to mention is their little Christmas market in front of the building, nice idea. Simply top notch

Food was not good. My burger was clearly a store-bought frozen patty heated up, the bun was soggy and cold, the salad was some iceberg lettuce and store-bought dressing. Service was ok. Atmosphere was nice for a typical German drinking place. Maybe a better place to have a beer than to eat.

We had dinner today on Christmas Day and it was very tasty. There was a great Christmas menu with typical Christmas dishes such as goose, rabbit leg... The portions were really more than enough and absolutely worth the money.

It's open again!!! New operators. Very nicely restored. Small, fine menu (German cuisine). And the beer garden was lovingly transformed into a small Christmas market (eat/drink). Very cute!

There is no other way to describe the dahlia. What the new operators have put in there in terms of investments and arrangements and continue to present to guests every day is something very special. As a guest, you can only honor such hosts with more and more visits because that shows them that their hospitality is accepted. For this reason, I and certainly many other people who have visited this restaurant since it reopened will continue to come there. After a long time in the Dahlia again, a new owner with a completely new ambience just did everything great. Andre' and Janine always welcome you there with a lot of love, friendliness and warmth. And the best thing is the cute little Christmas market in front of the restaurant, which invites you to sit down and enjoy mulled wine and bratwurst. We went to the Fritzer meeting in the Dahlia with the Mobile Disco Venus. It was a very nice evening, as always when it's oldies night.

Finally a decent restaurant with a beer garden in the neighborhood again. We're looking forward to trying out the kitchen. We often travel to Erfurt and found a real gem in this restaurant. We were particularly impressed by the price-performance ratio. The selection of beers on tap is fantastic: Starnberger Hell, Starnberger Weizen, Krombacher Pils and Krombacher Kellerbier – all freshly tapped and absolutely delicious. The food was surprisingly good for a garden pub, we were very satisfied. Great in taste and perfect for a relaxing evening. In summer we look forward to enjoying the large beer garden with the new wooden furniture. The garden invites you to linger and promises cozy hours. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly staff, who were always attentive and quick. Hospitality is very important here. Conclusion: It's worth a visit, we'll definitely be back!

I think it's great, we were here for a funeral, overall very nice, smells like smoke, but it's totally okay 👍

We visited this restaurant several times over the Men's Day weekend and enjoyed delicious food and good beer at very good prices. The map is manageable but everyone should find something. Yes, the owner is a somewhat more direct guy, but I don't think something like that is out of place for a garden restaurant. If you can't handle it, you have to run to some posh bar and pay three times as much for half the food :) We were completely satisfied. Gladly again when we are in the area.

Unfortunately you cannot give minus stars. From the unfriendly reception to the dirty table and sticky menu, everything was there to cancel the visit.

Ein echter Geheimtipp in Erfurt. Unscheinbar aber richtig gut. Das Essen ist mega lecker und die Leute super freundlich. Man kann im Biergarten sitzen oder drinnen wenn das Wetter mal nicht passt. Also wer hier noch nicht war muss unbedingt mal hin.

War ganz OK...leider war der Raum zum Feiern sehr dürftig...mehr liebe und der Raum und Besuch wäre perfekt...essen war sehr gut

Kackunfreundlicher Empfang um 19.40 bei angezeigten Öffnungszeiten bis 21.00, mit dem Hinweis das jetzt geschlossen wird. Bis zum Platz haben wir es gar nicht geschafft, der Abschuss erfolgte noch vorm Lokal bevor einer was sagen konnte. Fazit: erster und letzter Versuch:-)

Das Essen war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Die Bedienung äußerst freundlich. Wir kommen jetzt öfter 😃

Hallo Dahlie , wir waren heute bei euch sehr lecker essen , die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und der Biergarten ist SUPER , weiter so

Ich war vor einer Woche in der Gaststätte zum Glück nur um ein Kaffe zu trinken leider ist der Kunde kein König hatte 2 Haare an der Kaffe sahne und 2 Haare auf der unter Tasse und der Kellner war auch nicht gepflegt musste auch eine halbe Stunde auf mein Kaffe warten also in die Gaststätte gehe ich nicht wieder...

Leider ist hier der Kunde nicht König.Möchten wir auch nicht wirklich..Von 3 .essen 2.ungenießbar. Einsicht und Bemühungen da Abhilfe zu schaffen,Fehlanzeige. Er gab es teilweise.zu der Chef. Betteln und Diskussion und was neues für 1.Person zu bekomm.Dem 2.war es vergangen . Zum schluß noch über 20,-€ verlangt.Kein entschultigen und bemühen.....Arrogant und Selbstherrlich....Schade HOCHMUT KOMMT VOR DEM FALL

Garten-Kneipe mit rustikalen Mittagstisch !

Ich von meiner Seite kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen weil wir es alle sehr genossen haben, das Büfett zum Abendbrot war reichlich und hübsch angerichtet gewesen. Ich als Hobbykoch bin eigentlich immer sehr kritisch aber in diesen Fall war es mehr als 5 Sterne wert, wir waren vom Enkel zu seiner Schuleinführung dagewesen und können es jedem weiterempfehlen der nicht oder kein 5 Sterne Restaurant in Anspruch nehmen möchte,,,, wie gesagt die nach uns feiern viel Spaß und guten Appetit.

Absolut dreckige Spelunke ! Getränke gepanscht, Essen ungenießbar Kneiper macht unsauberen Eindruck, ebenso die Räumlichkeiten/Toiletten Unhöflich und aggressives auftreten... Wenn es möglich wäre, würde ich nicht einmal 1 Stern vergeben. Auch ich kann die Positiven Bewertungen hier nicht nachvollziehen Nie wieder !!!

Verstehe die guten Rezensionen nicht. Hier mal eine kleine Auswahl an meinen Erfahrungen und Eindrücken: Dreckige Toiletten Räume unsauber Personal quasi nicht vorhanden -> für die Getränkebestellung musste man immer an die Theke vor Bei Extrawünschen wurde man schief und grimmig angeguckt Mangelhafte Essensauswahl Das Essen was es gab war durchschnittlich bis schlecht... usw. Leider nicht zu empfehlen!

Das Essen war lecker und reichhaltig, der Biergarten ist angenehm, man kann gut unter den Bäumen sitzen.

Gute Speisekarte wie zu Zeiten der DDR. Stammer Max u. ä. Menüs. Guter Aussenbereich u. Gute Bedienung. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

War schon mal besser, wirkt jetzt irgendwie schmuddelig, unsauber. Aber der Biergarten ist nach wie vor empfehlenswert.

Neuer wirt, neue Chance. Das außenambiente bedarf sicher noch etwas Ausbau, aber der wirt gibt sich sichtlich Mühe. Das Essen ist selbst gekocht reichlich und lecker. Ein absoluter Renner ist das hausgemachte Würzfleisch. 😊

Arroganz · Blasiertheit · Egozentrik ist das Credo des Wirtes. So mussten wir es erfahren. Dreimal waren wir am Ort um reichlich Geld für Speisen und Getränke dort zu lassen und dreimal wurden wir als offensichtliche Fremdkörper eingestuft und auch so behandelt. Unerträglich die Knurrigkeit und das offensichtliche Unbehagen des Herrn Wähner, uns als zahlende Gäste behandeln zu müssen. Wir fühlten uns zurück versetzt in "gute alte DDR Tradition" wo der Gast als Bittsteller dankbar zu sein hat, dass er Platz nehmen darf. Die ersten beiden Besuche waren schon schwierig. Wiederwillig und zögerlich wurden wir bedient. Kritik mussten wir erfahren ob selbstverständlicher Erwartung an Dienstleistungen eines Gastronomen, die wir erwarteten und die eigentlich in einem Unternehmen das es sich auf die Fahnen schreibt seine Kunden zufrieden zu stellen selbstverständlich sind. Aber da hatten wir wohl die Rechnung ohne den Wirt gemacht - wie drollig oder besser trollig. Jawohl - die Küche ist gut und die Preise sind akzeptabel. Aber eben nur für ausgesuchte Gäste, nicht für uns! Beim dritten Besuch wurden wir gleich zu Anfang mit harschen Worten heraus geworfen. Wir sind immer noch sprachlos. Bei uns handelt es sich um drei Erfurter im nicht mehr ganz jungen Alter. Betrunken oder unverschämt auftretend habe ich in den letzten 30 Jahren noch keinen von uns gesehen. Normalerweise erkennt man uns als mehr oder weniger respektable Bürger im Ruhestand. Wir sind um eine sehr , sehr schlechte Erfahrung reicher .
