We were there for my aunt's funeral. The ambiance was very appropriate for the occasion, the food and service were excellent, there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

The food was very good. The place wasn't particularly busy, but we still waited about an hour for our food (four people). Waiters standing at the counter looking bored don't paint a good picture.

Although a waiter apologized and offered to replace the dish, my family and I chose not to wait any longer, since the initial order had already taken 45 minutes. Despite all these inconveniences, the food itself was tasty.

Update 7/19/25: Until today, we were very satisfied: pleasant ambiance, beautiful view, and good, home-style cooking. That changed today. We had reserved a table for 7 p.m. and arrived early. It took 15 minutes for us to be seen and order drinks, and another 15 minutes for them to arrive and we could order food. Then nothing happened! A good 55 minutes after ordering, we received our food. Among other things, it was a rump steak ordered medium-rare. It was delivered medium-well. The steak was returned, and I was promised a new one with the correct degree of doneness. After 20 minutes, I received a new one, which was just as overcooked. I wanted to eat it because I was very hungry, but gave up after two bites because it was completely oversalted. We then had my partner's schnitzel wrapped up and left. I only paid for the drinks and the schnitzel. Nevertheless: All in all, it was a huge disappointment and a thoroughly ruined evening. We won't be back and can't recommend this restaurant anymore. The food and service, especially the communication with guests, need serious work! At this price, you have to get more than an unseasoned schnitzel and a botched steak that goes bad under the counter. The chef couldn't care less; the main thing is that the groups fill his pockets. This restaurateur has opted for quantity over quality!

We were looking for a restaurant near the Best Western hotel and ended up here. It took well over an hour to get our rump steak, but the quality of the food made it worth the wait.

Nice restaurant, good, friendly staff. I didn't find the menu very interesting, rather boring: fish or schnitzel. I wouldn't order the Jägerschnitzel I chose again. The schnitzel was large, thin, and pale. The breading on the underside was soft. The plate looked somewhat boring, and the sauce was bland. I've also had better fried potatoes. The only bright spot and color was the salad plate. We won't be back.

It was our first time there, and we won't be going back. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us: The fried potatoes were unsalted and very greasy, and my fish wasn't seasoned either. The onions on my husband's schnitzel had extremely strong roasted flavors 😉. The portions were sufficient. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn't right.

The inn was recommended to us as a very good place, and that's probably true for the area! The fish platter, eel here, was very tasty according to my wife. Only the three schnitzels weren't cooked properly, probably in old fat or fried in a deep fryer? The fried potatoes were dark and greasy! Overall, a lack of attention. A shame!

We were there for an asparagus dinner. The quality was excellent: soup, asparagus with ham and schnitzel, and freshly whipped hollandaise sauce. We finished with dessert. We'll definitely be back.

For ages, this has been the best place for herring, schnitzel, and other home-style dishes! Always great and a must-visit on any visit to Bremen!

Beautiful village krug right on the Weser dike, super delicious food, top service. I could have paid by card or paid cash. Wonderful. You wouldn't believe that when you have a village restaurant like this. But it was just great. I can only recommend that if you are on the corner, go there

Today I was with a large group at the Bollener Dorfkrug. First the positives, service was friendly and attentive, food was okay. But I was shocked when I discovered a flag with a swastika in an old picture of the inn that was beautifully framed on the wall. In the current political situation, how can you hang a photograph in an inn that shows a swastika without any context or explanation? Without any problems, the photograph could have been cropped or simply hung another picture of the house! The succinct explanation from the waiter, "yes, it used to be normal" in no way justifies hanging a picture with a swastika on the wall! I am deeply shocked at how blatantly National Socialist symbols are openly displayed!

Nothing to complain about. Nice service, good food. Tried the fish today. Was delicious. 2022 - This time Jägerschnitzel, nothing wrong with it. 2023 - Pork knuckle was also good 2025 - Smelt and salmon were popular

We are a small bowling club and were there on Sunday, i.e. 2.02.25 there for lunch for cabbage and pee. We received a very friendly welcome and got our drinks quickly. We had pre-ordered our fill of cabbage. First there was a delicious chicken soup with a lot of ingredients. The main course was potatoes, kale and pee, each served in a bowl, and two large platters with various types of meat and cooked sausage. Everything was cooked excellently and had a great taste. For dessert there was ice cream with hot cherries. The great meal was rounded off by friendly and attentive service. We all agreed that... there was not a single point of criticism. We'll be back! A first class meal. Service was excellent. I was very impressed that the waiter was able to remember 9 special requests without taking notes. Food came flawlessly and hot. The ambience is a bit old but everything is clean and in order. We'll definitely come back. I definitely have to try the baked camembert!

Six of us had dinner here today to celebrate a birthday. The food was really great for everyone! From beef fillet to duck leg and meat loaf, everything was there. Nobody had anything to complain about. The bread dumplings and the fried potatoes were really great. The service was also great, friendly and really humorous. Gladly again! We all immediately agreed that we had to leave a positive review.

Waited a long time for the drinks and then there was nothing left to eat from the kitchen, only guests who ordered five minutes in advance

The chef made a delicious gluten-free pork medallion dish for our daughter. Even though we arrived late and had not made a reservation, this was no problem.

A really nice restaurant. The food (we had the onion schnitzel and the medallions on Rösti) was really plentiful and very tasty, but the Rösti were very crispy ;-) You should bring time. Everything takes time.

We had dinner and were thrilled with the food. You will be served delicious home-cooked food and, if possible, every wish will be fulfilled. The staff with their friendly, North German manner was wonderful. Despite the restaurant being full inside and outside, we were served quickly enough. The “Greetings from the Kitchen” is an absolute insider tip. The delicious bread with the spread tastes fantastic. As a family we were very impressed and overjoyed to be invited to this great restaurant.

Location: Well on the Weser dike. The inside is a bit old but suitable for those who like the old charm. Service: We were there before a group, but were visited by the waitress after the group. We initially sat at the window and were then asked to move to tables that had not been reserved. However, both tables were free upstairs and the group went outside, but they neglected to inform us. Food: Ice cream was delicious! Fries a little below average - you can't expect much here. The fries were thin and really nothing special. Plus; Three slices of delicious bread were served for free. There are 3 stars for the overall package out of a possible 5.

Just had a really full meal, very friendly staff, super tasty. It's great that the sauce and side dishes are served separately. So you can try everything. The price was also completely ok. We would recommend Jägerschnitzel. Unfortunately we are leaving tomorrow. Would eat there again at any time. There wasn't a long wait either. Everything was on the table quickly. Full points!!!!

Brown cabbage, bacon, cooked sausage, smoked pork, potatoes and pee were fresh. Unfortunately the fried potatoes were prepared without salt, but there is salt on the table. Sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant.Service 1a,Leckeres Essen,mit selbstgebackenen Baguettebrot.Auch das Ambiente ist sehr schön

Nettes gutbürgerliches Haus mit bodenständiger Küche. Ich hatte Rotbarschfilet mit lauwarmen Kartoffelsalat. Leider entsprach der Salat überhaupt nicht meinem Geschmack, er kam heiß und sehr süß auf den Tisch. Optisch war er sehr ansprechend. Man hat versucht den Salat durch einen anderen zu ersetzen, dieser schmeckte jedoch nicht anders. Auf andere Beilagen, die mir daraufhin angeboten wurden habe ich verzichtet, da meine Mitesser das Besteck bereits beiseite gelegt hatten. Der Grünkohl mit diversen Beilagen hat meinen Mitessern geschmeckt. Bei einem vorherigen Besuch hatten wir Ente, diese ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Service war sehr bemüht.

Wir waren zum Entenessen satt da und es war super. Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen war reichlich und wurde immer wieder nachgereicht.Die Ente war kross und das Fleisch butterzart. Sehr zu empfehlen und gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine tolle Familienfeier mit einem Buffet, das erstklassig war. Mit leckeren Antipasti, Fisch, Fleisch und auch an die Vegetarier wurde gedacht. Der gute Service rundete den Tag ab.

Restaurant mit bestem Blick auf Greasy Grove und Salty Springs. Sehr zentral in Tilted Towers gelegen, direkt neben dem Main. Mein Lieblings Essen ist der Biggy. Als Dessert Bezüge ich die minis oder den chug jug. Das Lokal ist aufgrund der Lage nur mit einem Grapler zu erreichen. Aber auch dafür muss man spätestens über Loot Lake abspringen. Toller Gastgeber. Der Biergarten war noch Baustelle, machte aber schon einen guten Eindruck. Wir haben nur etwas getrunken, Das Essen der anderen Gäste sah aber schonmal toll aus. An den Biersorten kann man noch arbeiten, denn im Norden gibt es tolle Biere 😉

Gemütliches Ambiente mit tollem Ausblick. Leider haben wir lange auf das Essen warten müssen. Es gab keinen freien Tisch mehr. Am Wochenende unbedingt vorher reservieren. Aber das Essen war bei allen wirklich super und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Wir werden sicherlich nochmal dort Essen gehen.

Haben mit einer großen Truppe draußen gesessen (hatten zuvor auch das Essen reserviert): Toller, freundlicher Service und hervorragendes Essen. Ist definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Super Ambiente. Wer gut bürgerliches Essen mag, ist hier genau richtig. Waren kürzlich mit Familie essen. 13 Personen, viele Sonderwünsche. Vorab bestellt. Es gab nicht eine Reklamation. Sonderlob an die Küche. Der Service ist top, der junge Mann hatte alles im Griff und hatte immer einen lockeren Spruch auf Lager. Der hat Spaß an seinem Job. Bollener Dorfkrug: weiter so.👍

Immer wieder eine Freude in dieser Erlebnissgastronomie zu speisen!! Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen - Super lecker Gebackener Feta - ein Träumchen Und das best gezapfte Bierchen in der weiteren Umgebung. Mit Zeit und Liebe. Nicht mit "Druck".
