Delicious food and very friendly staff

This isn't our first time at the Auerbachskeller. As steak lovers, we've tried many restaurants, and the steaks here are cooked to perfection. Medium rare is our preference, and that's how we get it. The steak arrives on a hot plate and continues to cook, which I personally like. We'd be happy to return.

«Auerbachskeller Wesel» was a very nice surprise for us. We searched the internet for a restaurant in Wesel and this restaurant appealed to us the most. But the restaurant is not in the city centre, but just east of the train station «Wesel Hauptbahnhof». The restaurant is therefore situated in a residential area. Outside on the terrace you have a few tables. And if you want to sit inside, you have to go down the long stairs, because the actual restaurant is located in a cellar vault. But it is a cosy restaurant. Here you are welcomed very friendly. The owner Senad is an extremely caring and very polite host. The extensive menu offers, besides many international dishes, also a number of dishes from the Balkans, the «heimat» of Senad. We ordered the «Gourmandplatte» for two people. For two men it was a big challenge to eat the large amount of meat. But it was too tasty and we succeeded! Thank you Senad & your team, we enjoyed your hospitality, the warmth and the delicious meal! This restaurant even has a "bowling alley", but another group of friends used it that evening.

We were here in June 2025. Service: friendly / Food: good / Value for money: good / Clean and well-maintained / Unfortunately, no card payments.

If I could, I'd give it 10 stars! Such warm service Such good quality food Such large portions at almost too low prices... Beautiful rooms Pleasant atmosphere, both the noise level and the ventilation. (Not too cold, not too hot, even on hot summer days) A true insider tip! Especially for the fish - highly recommended.

Top-notch service, very friendly and accommodating hosts. The food was extremely good and we all loved it. We heard the schnitzels being freshly pounded in the kitchen, which isn't always the case these days. The bowling alley was also fairly priced for a 3-hour game and in very good condition. If we didn't live farther away, we would come here more often. We can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant, and we thank you again for the great evening.

We ordered a platter for two people from the Auerbachkeller. And what we got really impressed us. No dry or tough meat - really tasty - The side dishes were also great. Staff absolutely friendly. Really great value for money. We came from Duisburg and the trip to Wesel was really worth it. Will definitely come back more often.

Ordered 4 plates for a birthday party. We were able to pick up the plates at 6 p.m. sharp. The guests and we really enjoyed it and, as always, it was more than plentiful. It always tastes very good on site. The service could sometimes be a little quicker, but in our opinion the good food makes it all worth it =)

We ate there with 8 people. Everything was okay and the food was on the table quickly. For the price you can't complain either.

It was our 45th wedding anniversary and we were there with the children and parents. We ate very well and everyone was happy!

We were there for the first time today with a group of eight people. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The food was excellent, and our requests were catered for. The prices are truly very reasonable. It wasn't our last visit; we will be back, and a huge thank you to the staff and the kitchen. You do a fantastic job.

We (as a couple) went to dinner in the Auerbachskeller two evenings in a row, although we didn't have a reservation, we were greeted and seated very nicely by the staff and the CHEF!!!!! The food is a culinary delight, the taste, variety, preparation of the plate and the size of the portions!!!!!!!! If you want to enjoy a really good, perfectly cooked meal in a pleasant atmosphere (the landlord was a bit rude at first, but then completely changed), you've come to the right place. Even the steak English was on point! Everything was hot and the complimentary starter soup (beef) was like mother's, a treat that brought back memories! All in all, a more than recommended restaurant. Thank you very much!

€3 for a portion of mayonnaise is a bit cheeky. I'm curious to see whether prices will rise again after the tax reduction, which unfortunately still caused prices to rise.

We have been eating there regularly for about 3 years and are always very happy with everything. It starts with a warm welcome and you are escorted to the table. The meat was fried to perfection, everything else was very tasty and appetizingly prepared. If you want to eat a great steak, this is the place for you.

5 stars are still not enough. I've been eating there for several years and it's always very, very good. The staff is always friendly, as soon as you walk in you are greeted like old friends. As I said, 5 stars are not enough. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

At 9 p.m. it was no longer possible to dine on site, even though many tables were free and still open for over an hour.

I enjoyed it. Rich and very tasty portion. The meat is on point, the side dishes are also still hot so you can take your time with the meal and not everything is cold after 5 minutes. Attentive service from start to finish and that was a good 3 hours in total. Thank you for the lovely evening

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer correct at all. However, the price screw has been drastically increased over the last year. Various dishes, especially fish dishes, were 5 euros more expensive, many meat dishes by 4 euros (25 - 30%) instead of 12%. A hot lemon (glass of hot water with a lemon aroma) costs an unbelievable 4.80 euros. In my opinion, such a steep price increase is incomprehensible!

We were really ripped off 😞. However, it's about bowling... Started with 10€ per hour, later, without mentioning it, 15€, then I found out that it only costs 7€, and the boss was always annoyed, and my friends still ordered food, which I did I didn't understand how it tasted and looked🤢, the main thing is that the plate is full. Typically German, thank God tastes are different.

Very nice restaurant and very good food. We were at one Had dinner there on Saturday evening with our 8-9 year old boys after a soccer tournament. The children were still absolutely excited and really not the quietest, there were no bad words or annoyed service staff. Everyone was absolutely great and patient. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back. If you let us in again ;-)

Side dishes were good, but meat was not so good in the minced steak there was a lot of cartilage and very dry skewer of meat was also very toe the meat.

Mira empfängt einen immer mit offenen Armen. Weiter so. Gerade wieder da gewesen und lecker gegessen, Mira ist nach langer Krankheit auch wieder da.

Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Lokal mit einer typischen Balkan-Karte. Das Essen, wir hatten Cevapcici und Schnitzel, war super lecker, frisch zubereitet und heiß. Der Wirt war sehr aufmerksam und hatte sogar Zeit für ein sehr nettes Gespräch. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist mega. Wenn wir nicht so weit weg wohnen würden, würde das unser Stammlokal. Der Auerbachskeller ist bedingslos zu empfehlen

Haben erneut für mehrere Personen Essen bestellt als Platten. Es gab top Beratung am Telefon, top Service und natürlich top Essen. Die können echt alles. Der Keller ansich ist charmant-urig aber nicht billig und vielleicht nicht jedermanns Sache.

Ein Restaurant im Stadtteil Fusternberg Balkanart, aber auch internationale Küche. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit genügend Sitzplätzen. Preis/Leistung top! Servicekräfte sind hier sehr auf Zack. Es gibt genügend Parkmöglickeiten.
