Gaststätte Am Hopfenberg in Leipzig

Stopped because I was hungry. The taste was terrible, I couldn't get it back.

Nice idea, but the quality of the food doesn't match the exorbitant prices. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ambiance inside is well-designed, but the outside feels rather cheap. This weekend, the "Wildpark Wiesn" is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the staff are only just getting ready at 11 a.m. The restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. as usual. So I'm wondering what happens after 10 a.m.? The climbing frame is already very weathered and, in our opinion, should be completely overhauled or replaced. There's a risk of injury in some places! All in all, very disappointing and not recommended.

I had reserved seats for today after the opera performance (by phone). When we got to the restaurant, it was closed, and we were told there were no reservations for tonight.

Vegetarian and meat options are excellent – ​​service a bit funny and awkward but friendly, great food, in my opinion the best Indian food in Leipzig. Given the quality of the food, I'm not sure why the place was so busy. Go there and treat yourself!
