I had the cheese spaetzle, which really wasn't seasoned well for the price and the consistency was too soft. The waitress really wasn't happy about having to work. But actually the ambience would be very nice.

Compared to last year, the food this time was unfortunately disappointing. Meat quality for sirloin steak and onion roast not great. Fried potatoes burnt and salad limp. Too bad.

It's really beautiful and the beer garden is just great with the chestnut trees and a river next to it, very quiet and pleasant! The waitresses were very friendly, attentive and helpful and kept asking if everything was OK or if they should get something again. The food not only tasted good, but it also arrived quite quickly!

Traditional inn with an idyllic beer garden directly on the Würm and also with self-service area. Ideal as a stop for bike tours as there are many bike parking spaces available. The food, service and ambience are impeccably good. Here you can really enjoy your time out with a fresh Augustiner beer 🍻💙

I had a spontaneous lunch here yesterday. I decided on a Munich schnitzel. The schnitzel was really, really good!! There are two sizes and I chose the smaller one. I was full afterwards! The plate was beautifully presented and the lemon was packed in a small bag so that I could squeeze it (I thought it was a great solution). Service was also very nice and quick. It was still very quiet at 11:30 a.m. I hope the next visit and higher frequency will be at the same level. Keep it up 👍🏼

Great beer garden on the Würm and cheap and delicious lunch options.

Were at the Alten Wirt in Krailing again today. One wonders how one can even exist with so much poor performance. The food was a disaster and we only chose dishes where you thought you couldn't go wrong. Conclusion: we will no longer visit this restaurant and cannot recommend it in any way.

Beautifully located beer garden on the rushing Würm. It's my favorite beer garden and they serve Augustiner beer there: with the first sip you do something good for yourself, with the second you do something good for the community. Augustiner is a foundation!

Very nice inn on the Würm, you can reserve the exact table - and good, Bavarian food too. Inflation has now struck here too Roast pork jumped from €13 in 2023 to now over €17. Many dishes are now over €20. Understandable, but I still come much less often.

Yesterday we went to the “Alter Wirt” for the first time with a family group of 20 people and had a wonderful afternoon in the wonderful chestnut-filled beer garden there 🤩 The staff served us with a lot of love and humor, didn't let seniors, small children and dogs upset us and reacted very flexibly to our spontaneous requests (set up tables, take group photos). The inn is decorated in a lovely Bavarian style, everything was clean and the food was a hit with everyone. I only saw completely empty plates at our place 😄 The prices are great, combined with the best beer in town we enjoyed the day with a lot of laughter 😊 The only suggestion I have for improvement relates to the “children's playground”. It's very manageable and a slide and swings, for example, would be a useful addition. Oh yes: we'll be back next year at the latest! 😉

I just like the old innkeeper. Inside, the dining room is quite rustic thanks to the low ceiling and the large serving room is very bright and furnished without any frills due to the high ceiling. Thanks to the large tables, groups of 6-8 have great seats there. I like the counter space and regulars' table outside best. The beer garden is relatively small (to others) and nice (refrigerator for glasses is available), right on the Würm with a small playground. Dogs are allowed, our dachshund is often there. The food is good, reasonable portions and good quality. I prefer my Obazda, but my grandma raves about Kaiserschmarren and my standard meal is the Münchner Schnitzel. The brawn is supposed to be very good, it's just not my thing, I ate 5/6 before I couldn't eat any more. All in all very recommendable.

Beer: Augustiner on tap. Personally, I just think it's the best beer. Food: honest Bavarian cuisine. The quality is really good and wholesome, nicely prepared with a few eye-catching details and very tasty and wholesome. The service is really attentive, loves animals and children, there are high chairs. The tables are made of solid wood and the overall atmosphere is very traditional and chic. I think there is a lot of value placed on traditional furnishings and this is also maintained... Always happy!

Were invited to a baptism on a Sunday afternoon in the Altes Wirt in Planegg. The traditionally furnished Augustinian inn really has a decent kitchen, especially the 1/4 duck with dumplings was a real surprise. There's no need to talk about the Augustiner beer and our service was hard-working and quick.

The little schnitzel is really tiny, so it's best not to even consider it. Otherwise very good, no matter what dish. And a beautiful beer garden on the Würm.

It is a robust and well attended Economy and no outside shed. And when the weather is good there is a large beer garden. I've been looking forward to coming here again for two years. This week we went to dinner 3 times with 4 adults and a child... We were served attentively and friendly. Only on one evening did the dishes arrive a little but not tragically delayed. But everyone and always hot. The ordering and reordering from the menu was taken without batting an eye and was done correctly with every “plate”. “That” is hospitality. The best first. The roast pork was great. The asparagus dishes were medium to bad. Stay away from the twice advised asparagus. This is simply inedible. A meal was forgotten and only arrived when everyone else had already finished eating. Somehow it was better in the Alten Wirt.

Ambience - top; Service - absolutely great; Taste - great. We were in this restaurant for the first time on Easter Monday. The trip to Krailling was absolutely worth it. The waiter was very friendly. From start to finish everything was perfect! The atmosphere was very pleasant and modern. The taste of the food was excellent! The lemon with the schnitzel even came in a yellow cloth bag so that the seeds don't fall on the schnitzel. The kitchen definitely knows what to do and how to do it!

Old, beautifully renovated inn. Because of the large room, but not really comfortable. Unfortunately the order didn't work well. At first there was no court. Ordered another one. Then brought another one. That was more expensive and was also charged for. The food itself was very tasty. Unfortunately the prices are very high. You should expect at least €35 per head.

Nice atmosphere, competent staff and really good food! The portions are rather oversized and were almost impossible for me to manage, which represents a good price-performance ratio. There is a separate hall for events. Bus stop in front of the door.

Very good Bavarian cuisine with an extensive menu. We found the roulade highly recommended, but classics such as roast pork and schnitzel are also convincing. The Kaiserschmarrn for dessert is also good. The staff is friendly and nice even in hectic situations. Free parking in front of the house or on the street. Reservations on weekends and evenings are recommended!

We were here with friends who had arrived for the funeral the next morning. Well, what can you say? The food has always been good, but the spaetzle was a bit too salty. Everything else was good. I've never heard of onion soup without toast and cheese before, but in a Bavarian restaurant... The waiter was a nice and hard-working foreign citizen. He either didn't understand the hint about the "cook being a little in love" or managed to ignore it because there was no reaction or answer. All in all, go and make up your own mind.

Update from October 2021 (from 4 stars to one star) Sorry, everything that once stood for the economy no longer exists today. Unfriendly service. They ignore you even if you visit the economy that is only moderately busy. Orders are completely missed. Empty glasses are cleared away, but requests for a new drink are ignored or ignored. After eating we tried to ask the waitress to pay four times. It wasn't due to stress. Because it was already time to relax and lean against the wall four meters next to us. Nothing against it. But if guests have been trying to express a wish for a long time (by speaking to them and raising their hands), it simply doesn't work. The store saw us for the last time. From start to finish, everything in the service really went wrong. ——————————————————————————- Original review 2013 We always end up at the Altes Wirt in Krailling, especially with family. There is plenty of space for families with strollers, dogs, grandmas, etc. ;-) If you want it to be quieter, you will also find a cozy corner. There is also a small play area right next to the large tables where families tend to sit. The service is very friendly and has never really had a negative impact. If a little thing doesn't fit (a side salad is missing, etc.), that will be remedied straight away. What I think is nice: the younger staff is not overly formal. The furnishings range from rustic to cozy. The food has almost always been excellent and generously portioned. Giant schnitzels also deserve their name here. However, this can vary slightly when things are busy in summer and the beer garden is full. (A relative was once dissatisfied because the portion was too small for him.) There is also a small playground in the beer garden, which is ok, but could definitely be renovated. The toilets are very clean and nicely decorated. Nothing is missing at the sink either. The only small point of criticism: As far as I remember, the hand-held hairdryer was a bit high for children. Last but not least, an argument that dad always likes to use to persuade him to go to the Alte Wirt: there is Augustiner beer :-) And you can usually still get a seat even when the surrounding restaurants are already bursting at the seams or want to sit you with a stroller at an almost full table in the middle of the room. What I can't understand, by the way, is a devaluation because no artificial flavor enhancer is served with a soup, as happened in another review here. -------------------------------------------------- ---- Addendum on May 15, 2014: Since unfriendly service has been pointed out again and again, I pay more attention to it when we eat there. I can not understand. You don't have to wait particularly long and you don't get unfriendly service. Occasionally you will be on your first name. But I personally like it and I think my demeanor conveys that too. You just don't find any "stick-in-a-h...h" pingiun waiters. But it wouldn't fit here at all.

Eher unterdurchschnittliches Essen für die üblichen hohen Münchner Preise. Gut: Beilagensalat Negativ aufgefallen: Zähe Ochsenfetzen, sehr fade Käsespätzle, die mehr nach Rahm oder Emmentaler geschmeckt haben als nach Bergkäse oder der gleichen.

Die Qualität der Speisen geht, aber kann mit dem Preisniveau nicht ganz mithalten.

Leider hat das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stark nachgelassen. Die Gerichte der Mittagskarte sind Mini-Portionen für 9,90 €. Auch 15,50 € für Käsespätzle sind ein stolzer Preis.

Die zweite Chance verpasst wir haben am Kirchweihtag für ein Gans und Entenessen reserviert weil unser Stammrestaurant ausgebucht war. Eine gute Gelegenheit das unter neuer Leitung agierende Restaurant zu testen. Die Reservierung verlief Problemlos, der Service war freundlich. Die angebotene Portion Gas bestand aus einer trockenen, fasrigen Ganskeule. Es schaut so aus, als hätte man gar keine Gänse gebraten, sondern nur die Ganskeulen eingekauft. Das würde auch den schlimmen Qualitätszustand der Keulen erklären. Als uns der "Oberober" fragte ob es uns geschmeckt hat blickte er auf ein Teller mit fasrigen, trockenen und harten Keulenresten. Dennoch antwortete er auf unsere Beschwerde " Dafür haben Sie aber viel von der Keule gegessen". Natürlich macht man immer den Fehler, das man von dem Frass erst mal die Hälfte isst. Man sollte solche Qualitäten gleich zurückgehen lassen und das Lokal verlassen. Ich habe das Restaurant zum zweiten mal besucht. Schon damals konnte man nur mir EC Karte oder bar zahlen. Angeblich hätte man noch keine Freischaltung. Nachdem es nun nach einem Monat noch immer keine Freischaltung gibt, gehe ich davon aus dass der Wirt sich die Gebühren sparen will. Das alles passt zur Geschäftspolitik. Sparen wo es geht. Im Zweifel auch da wo es schlecht für den Gast ist.

Gemütlich drinnen und draußen ein schöner Aussenbereich mit Biergarten Als Vegetarier vergleichsweise sehr gut, oft eine gute Auswahl auf der Tageskarte Sehr guter Service und nette Bedienung!

2x Riesenschnitzel bestellt, eine der beiden Portion ist leider so dünn gewesen, daß man Fleisch zwischen der Panade nicht mal mehr erahnen konnte, das zweite ist ok gewesen. Daher Punkte Abzug...

Bei jeden Besuch immer das Selb:. Leckeres Essen freundliche Bedienung, eine abwechslungsreiche Tageskarte. Heute zum Beispiel mit Hirschgerichten. Gerne immer wieder.

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier im Nebenraum, der nur für uns reserviert war. Mein Mann und ich waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Am Nebentisch waren sie mit der Qualität zufrieden, aber es war bei allen leider kalt. Wir haben uns dann mit den anderen unterhalten und leider erfahren, dass es bei vorherigen Besuchen auch schon dieses Problem mit dem kalten Essen gab. Das ist sehr schade und ich möchte ausdrücklich betonen, dass dies eine konstruktive Kritik ist. Der Alte Wirt Krailling ist sehr schön - das Personal, besonders Lucas sehr zuvorkommend und sehr bemüht, das Essen gut. Es wäre schade, wenn es leiden würde, wegen eines Problems, dass man eigentlich schnell beheben kann.... Warmes Essen servieren...

War dort Abends im Biergarten für einen Schweizer Wurstsalat und ein Spezi. Als ich das Glas mit dem Wurstsalat gesehen hatte dachte ich erst "Ja wieder so ein fertiger Wurstsalat im Glas 🙈" Käse und Zwiebeln aussen rum. Aber er war wirklich richtig lecker. Emmentaler als Käse finde ich eh den besten Käse dazu. Beim Spezi nimmt man sich das Glas aus dem Kühlschrank und bekommt es dann aufgefüllt und das Getränk bleibt bei der Hitze dann länger kalt. 👍👍👍 War richtig gut besucht und man fühlt sich pudelwohl.

Wer den Alten Wirt von früher kennt sollte besser nicht hingehen! Nicht mehr daśs was es mal war!
