Great inn, also with a 1A Kirchweih Ganserl. The only drawback: The little schnitzel is really tiny, so it's best not to even consider it. Otherwise very good, no matter what dish. And a beautiful beer garden on the Würm.

What I particularly liked about this restaurant is that the tables are not too close together. The food tasted good and the portions were large to satisfy your cravings. What concerns my order is that it was no longer hot (as I like it) but warm and for my salad, which was only supposed to be green and I got a mixed one, I had to wait longer than 15 minutes. I have to add one thing that I didn't like at all: the spider webs on the walls (see photo). If you like Bavarian cuisine, I recommend the restaurant. Bon appetit.

We were really looking forward to the food because we have eaten here several times and it was really excellent. But we definitely can't count tonight as one of these! Drinks were picked up quickly, but it took an eternity before they actually landed on the table. About the food: We ordered noble deer goulash, when the plate came it looked like soup or ragout. Hardly any meat on the plate and then charging 23 euros for it. Completely excessive and of course we told the waiter about it. There was then a brief clarification with the boss and another portion was added. Suddenly there were very large pieces of deer goulash on the plate, but everything was very bland and it was completely cold, even inside! After the first criticism, which also has to be dealt with, I cannot make another mistake with the guest. We wanted to take the last two large pieces with us, here you expect the plate to be cleared away, but no, a box is brought out and scraped off the plate in front of all the guests... That doesn't work at all! But we weren't the only ones who talked about the prices. The prices are not proportional to the portions. The finale was also an absolute blast, we paid by card, there were 4 people and then a small chocolate kolauas was brought to the table. That's really laughable! Either I bring something to each guest or I leave it alone! You can also say goodbye to the guests quietly and not just walk past in silence. We are speechless...

We had a bigger birthday party there. Everything was great from the service to the food, drinks, etc. Unfortunately, it would have been nice if the restaurant owner had at least come to us on the “payment date” - it's actually not a problem, they think. A small gesture (???) like in many other restaurants would normally be received positively. It's just a shame when personality etc. is lost! A speech about paying: “Can I do this with you straight away, I'll be called upon straight away” - Sorry THAT'S NOT WORKING AT ALL!!! Please think about it etc!!! And if necessary. React !!!

We went to have a weisswurst breakfast today - arrived at 12:10pm (after parking 5min away - no parking available. After ordering and beers served we were told at 12:20 - because of an ancient tradition no more weisswurst would be served after - noon on the dot. Server was extremely unhelpful (just said we would have been served if we had a reservation - what an odd excuse ) - we finished our beer and left. We got served just fine in Haderner Augustiner. Very disappointing experience and could not recommend

Unfortunately I have to go back from 5 to 3 stars. Unfortunately, the giant schnitzel has deteriorated over the years. We used to have the giant schnitzel with a salad. Last year the salad was canceled and now the giant schnitzel is no longer that big. The giant schnitzel is now the normal schnitzel size like in any other restaurant and has nothing to do with giant schnitzel anymore. The correct name on the menu would now be schnitzel “Viennese style”. Rating only refers to the schnitzel. Otherwise, I like to go to the Alte Wirt.

Compared to last year, the food this time was unfortunately disappointing. Meat quality for sirloin steak and onion roast not great. Fried potatoes burnt and salad limp. Too bad.

I had the cheese spaetzle, which really wasn't seasoned well for the price and the consistency was too soft. The waitress really wasn't happy about having to work. But actually the ambience would be very nice.

It's really beautiful and the beer garden is just great with the chestnut trees and a river next to it, very quiet and pleasant! The waitresses were very friendly, attentive and helpful and kept asking if everything was OK or if they should get something again. The food not only tasted good, but it also arrived quite quickly!

Traditional inn with an idyllic beer garden directly on the Würm and also with self-service area. Ideal as a stop for bike tours as there are many bike parking spaces available. The food, service and ambience are impeccably good. Here you can really enjoy your time out with a fresh Augustiner beer 🍻💙

I had a spontaneous lunch here yesterday. I decided on a Munich schnitzel. The schnitzel was really, really good!! There are two sizes and I chose the smaller one. I was full afterwards! The plate was beautifully presented and the lemon was packed in a small bag so that I could squeeze it (I thought it was a great solution). Service was also very nice and quick. It was still very quiet at 11:30 a.m. I hope the next visit and higher frequency will be at the same level. Keep it up 👍🏼

Were at the Alten Wirt in Krailing again today. One wonders how one can even exist with so much poor performance. The food was a disaster and we only chose dishes where you thought you couldn't go wrong. Conclusion: we will no longer visit this restaurant and cannot recommend it in any way.

Very nice inn on the Würm, you can reserve the exact table - and good, Bavarian food too. Inflation has now struck here too Roast pork jumped from €13 in 2023 to now over €17. Many dishes are now over €20. Understandable, but I still come much less often.

Beautifully located beer garden on the rushing Würm. It's my favorite beer garden and they serve Augustiner beer there: with the first sip you do something good for yourself, with the second you do something good for the community. Augustiner is a foundation!

Yesterday we went to the “Alter Wirt” for the first time with a family group of 20 people and had a wonderful afternoon in the wonderful chestnut-filled beer garden there 🤩 The staff served us with a lot of love and humor, didn't let seniors, small children and dogs upset us and reacted very flexibly to our spontaneous requests (set up tables, take group photos). The inn is decorated in a lovely Bavarian style, everything was clean and the food was a hit with everyone. I only saw completely empty plates at our place 😄 The prices are great, combined with the best beer in town we enjoyed the day with a lot of laughter 😊 The only suggestion I have for improvement relates to the “children's playground”. It's very manageable and a slide and swings, for example, would be a useful addition. Oh yes: we'll be back next year at the latest! 😉

I just like the old innkeeper. Inside, the dining room is quite rustic thanks to the low ceiling and the large serving room is very bright and furnished without any frills due to the high ceiling. Thanks to the large tables, groups of 6-8 have great seats there. I like the counter space and regulars' table outside best. The beer garden is relatively small (to others) and nice (refrigerator for glasses is available), right on the Würm with a small playground. Dogs are allowed, our dachshund is often there. The food is good, reasonable portions and good quality. I prefer my Obazda, but my grandma raves about Kaiserschmarren and my standard meal is the Münchner Schnitzel. The brawn is supposed to be very good, it's just not my thing, I ate 5/6 before I couldn't eat any more. All in all very recommendable.

Beer: Augustiner on tap. Personally, I just think it's the best beer. Food: honest Bavarian cuisine. The quality is really good and wholesome, nicely prepared with a few eye-catching details and very tasty and wholesome. The service is really attentive, loves animals and children, there are high chairs. The tables are made of solid wood and the overall atmosphere is very traditional and chic. I think there is a lot of value placed on traditional furnishings and this is also maintained... Always happy!

Were invited to a baptism on a Sunday afternoon in the Altes Wirt in Planegg. The traditionally furnished Augustinian inn really has a decent kitchen, especially the 1/4 duck with dumplings was a real surprise. There's no need to talk about the Augustiner beer and our service was hard-working and quick.

It is a robust and well attended Economy and no outside shed. And when the weather is good there is a large beer garden. I've been looking forward to coming here again for two years. This week we went to dinner 3 times with 4 adults and a child... We were served attentively and friendly. Only on one evening did the dishes arrive a little but not tragically delayed. But everyone and always hot. The ordering and reordering from the menu was taken without batting an eye and was done correctly with every “plate”. “That” is hospitality. Short: Great service Eat good Thanks to the team...

The best first. The roast pork was great. The asparagus dishes were medium to bad. Stay away from the twice advised asparagus. This is simply inedible. A meal was forgotten and only arrived when everyone else had already finished eating. Somehow it was better in the Alten Wirt.

Ambience - top; Service - absolutely great; Taste - great. We were in this restaurant for the first time on Easter Monday. The trip to Krailling was absolutely worth it. The waiter was very friendly. From start to finish everything was perfect! The atmosphere was very pleasant and modern. The taste of the food was excellent! The lemon with the schnitzel even came in a yellow cloth bag so that the seeds don't fall on the schnitzel. The kitchen definitely knows what to do and how to do it!

Old, beautifully renovated inn. Because of the large room, but not really comfortable. Unfortunately the order didn't work well. At first there was no court. Ordered another one. Then brought another one. That was more expensive and was also charged for. The food itself was very tasty. Unfortunately the prices are very high. You should expect at least €35 per head.

Very good Bavarian cuisine with an extensive menu. We found the roulade highly recommended, but classics such as roast pork and schnitzel are also convincing. The Kaiserschmarrn for dessert is also good. The staff is friendly and nice even in hectic situations. Free parking in front of the house or on the street. Reservations on weekends and evenings are recommended!
