The food in the inn is delicious, we always enjoy coming here. I have never seen the salad buffet better anywhere and the potato salad is highly recommended.

Full recommendation for the economy 10* and the rooms 8*. You get really good food. Everything homemade. There is a butcher shop in the house. Salad buffet, wonderful. You put together the side salad yourself. This is how sustainability works! Also take a look at the wine selection. Service is on point. Attentive and friendly. Perfect. Rooms are clean and tidy. Modern bathrooms. Unfortunately the heating didn't get really warm (despite level 5). And that a busy street passes by... Breakfast was also great. Rolls, pretzels and bread. Sausage, cheese, salads, muesli, boiled eggs... and coffee in the thermos on the table. Thank you.

Great local economy. The service was commendable!!! Price-performance was also okay. The roast pork was really good. Parking spaces behind the restaurant and opposite Norma. The only drawback is that the burger unfortunately contains pork. About €3 more and with beef would be great. All portions are always generous and you could put together your own side salad from a buffet. 👍👍👍 All in all, a lovely dinner and would be happy to come again.

The food was good in 15 out of 16. However, for one person it was more than deficient. The turkey on the turkey salad caused one person to experience signs of food poisoning (vomiting, stomach pain, and insomnia). All in all, not really recommended, my friends

If you like to eat decent portions of Bavarian cuisine at a fair price, this is the place for you. Rarely have I had such well prepared pork fillets. Gladly again👍

The restaurant offers a menu for every taste. We ordered Cordon Bleu with fries and salad. Prepared quickly and very tasty, large portions. Would love to go back and try other dishes.

Rarely have I had such disgusting and inedible food on my plate as this one, the meat was completely dry, the dumplings were bone dry, the sauce was covered in mushrooms. Fie deiffi. Never again

We recently needed a quick hotel for two nights for our family of 7. When we made the very spontaneous booking on the phone (we got there 30 minutes later), the innkeeper tried very hard to find a solution to accommodate us. So we were able to move into a 3-person and a 4-person room. The rooms are fully equipped, very clean and have a beautiful, new bathroom. The location on the street is a bit noisy, but you are centrally located and have a parking space right in front of the door. The staff was very friendly throughout. Great breakfast and fair price. We'd love to come back. Thanks again.

We had dinner today at the end of our vacation We can say that the staff was very friendly and the salad buffet was highly recommended. My favorite was the “mega” potato salad, all freshly prepared. The portions are plentiful. Nice outdoor area. We'll be back. If anything is left over, it will be lovingly packed up for a small fee. Thank you for having it 😄

Great food, great value for money. Unfortunately, the dishes came very far one after the other, so one person was already finished when two others could start eating. But the friendly staff and the good food completely compensated for that. :)

Went to dinner in the beer garden on Sunday, first impression was very good, drinks arrived quickly. Almost every main course comes with a salad that you can get yourself from the buffet. That was all good, but then the main course took an hour from the time we ordered it. When my husband finally got his food, we thought OK, it's busy, that can happen. I waited another half hour, my husband had long since finished eating, then I canceled my meal. Unfortunately it wasn't the case for us alone, at a table of two people you should be able to eat something at about the same time. It's a shame, a really bad impression and unfortunately only one person could eat and be full. Waiter was very friendly, couldn't help it, it was the kitchen.

White stopped here while passing through. Despite the high number of visitors (even during the week), the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. The food was sensational and the prices were absolutely reasonable. Here you can enjoy exceptionally delicious food with the whole family. Located on a main street with a nice beer garden. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean, large room and great bathroom. Breakfast was rich and even when the restaurant was closed we still got drinks late in the evening. Price performance O.K.

Nice inn with good German cuisine. Rooms are also great. But I have one suggestion and that is to install fly screens on the windows. The room was very warm due to the warm weather and the window was open for a few minutes and I immediately had a large family of mosquitoes in the room. Abet as I said, I would come again.

I had a bright, very large room. Bathroom and shower also very spacious. Everything was very well maintained and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast thanks to our own butcher shop. Cheaper than others in the area that I had for comparison. I liked it very much. I will gladly come again.

I get that I shouldn't encourage having stereo types but the two times I've been there, I saw the same people from the village (most of them an older generation) that weren't very friendly to others from outside of the village. The food was good and the location accessible, right in the village center, next to the only bus station. But I'd recommend not going there if there are many groups of people already.

Mit der Familie essen gewesen und kleiner Hund dabei gehabt. Es gibt ein Salatbuffet mit leckeren Salaten. Kartoffelsalat war sehr gut. Hauptgerichte waren auch sehr gut. Typisch bayrisch halt. Service gibt es auch nichts zu meckern. Ich hatte Zwiebelrostbraten mit mega vielen Zwiebeln und das war keine Fertigkost.

I was at your place for lunch with my wife. And it was super delicious. Nice service, drink came in 3 minutes, Aperol was delicious. And the mega food alone is just great. The salad bar was also delicious, the dressing was delicious. Top location. If we are nearby we will definitely come back. Keep it up. ☆☆☆☆☆

We were a larger group in a separate parlor. The food was very good. The onion roast on point. The service did its best. In the end I didn't show up often to ask for further drink orders. Still, it was a nice evening.

Hatte dort gestern unser Weihnachtsfeier mit knapp 20 Personen. Das Essen war gut und günstig. Wir hatten einen netten Nebenraum und der Service war auch freundlich und humorvoll.

Preise sind bisher echt in Ordnung. Es schmeckt gut, wobei die Knödel dieses Mal viel kleiner als beim letzten Mal waren. Das Salatbuffet könnte etwas öfter durchgewechselt werden.

Wir durften für eine kleinere Veranstaltung mit 15 Personen ein Nebenzimmer im Gasthof zur Post nutzen. Es war für uns alle, ein schöner Abend, mit gutem Essen und einem freundlichen Service. Vielen Dank dafür an das ganze Team im Gasthof Zur Post in Peißenberg.

Wir waren knapp eine Woche in dieser Gaststätte untergebracht. Es war ei. Super Aufenthalt. Abends gab es immer ein Feierabend Bier, manchmal auch zwei ;) Die Bedienung war immer super, besonders wenn Norbert Dienst hatte 👍🏼

Für mich die beste bayrische Gaststätte im Landkreis . Bestes Fleisch aus der eigenen Metzgerei und fast zu jedem Gericht, Salat vom Salatbuffet den man sich selbst nach Belieben nehmen kann! Deshalb ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PS: es gibt auch Speisen ohne Fleisch 👍👍😃

Hausgemachter Kartoffelsalat (Eine Seltenheit) beim super Salatbuffet und das Fleisch (Filet-Topf) inkl. Käsespatzen ein Traum.

Alles klasse, alles gut. Saubere Zimmer mit tollem Badezimmer Bereich. Dss Essen Ur-bayrisch und das Bier: so richtig gut! Service - sowohl abends als auch morgens - aufmerksam und gut!

Waren mit 8 Personen beim Essen dort. Alles was bestellt wurde kam schnell und sah super aus und war von hervorragender Qualität - sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war perfekt, sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder!

Auch Gasthof-Essen würde frische Kräuter und Gewürze vertragen. Heiß wäre auch ned schlecht. Kann das leider nicht empfehlen....

König Ludwig der 2. hat in dieser Geschichtsträchtigen Gaststätte des öfteren genächtigt als er auf Reisen zwischen München und Neuschwanstein war.

Leckers essen, Familien freundlich, regionales Fleisch aus eigener Schlachtung. Besser, hochwertiger , bewusster Fleisch genießen ist nicht möglich! Wir sind froh vor dem Gasthof gestrandet zu sein und hatten spontan zwei schöne Tage. Danke für die schnelle Hilfe bei der Freizeitgestaltung. Das Bergwerk war das i Tüpfelchen!

Die Küche ist sehr gut die Portionen sind ordentlich Personal freundlich spricht nicht jeder von ihnen richtig deutsch im großen und ganzen ist es immer noch das beste Speiselokal im Umkreis die Preise haben zwar ein wenig angezogen aber Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt

Preiswerte Unterkunft mit Gasthof und Biergarten. Sehr gutes Essen, freundlicher Service. Die Zimmer sauber und schön. Der Gasthof liegt direkt an einer stark befahrenen Hauptstraße und einer Ampelanlage. Wir waren dort für vier Übernachtungen, 30 Grad Außentemperatur. Abends oder über Nacht zu lüften um das Zimmer runter zu kühlen...kann man vergessen. Der Lärm ist nicht auszuhalten. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist aber fast total ruhig. Tolle Dämmung!!! Nützt aber eben nichts, wenn man angesichts der hohen Temperaturen bei offenem Fenster schlafen möchte. Also entweder nass geschwitzt im Bett liegen und entsprechend schlecht schlafen, oder bei offenem Fenster gleich ganz wach bleiben. Schade, in dem Haus ist alles sehr gut und einladend, aber der Lärm geht gar nicht.

War 2 Tage als Tagesgast/Teilnehmer einer Motorradgruppe abends zum Essen dort. Super geschmackiges Essen, alles bodenständig in gaumenerfreuender Geschmackstiefe. War leider nur 2 Tage dort sonst hätte ich mich noch weiter durch die Karte gefuttert. Besonders durch die weiteren leckeren Gerichte der Auswahl meiner Motorradfreunde. Die Speisekarte bietet, so ich das umrissen habe, traditionelles Essen der Region was aber auch zum Teil hier im fränkischen Raum zu bekommen ist. Besonders zu erwähnen, der hauseigene Kartoffelsalat aus dem Salatbuffet! Nur mal so, rund 25/30€ bei fleischlastigem Essen mit Getränk(en) pro Abend, das passt das für mich als Kurzurlauber. Das Personal, sorry für die Bezeichnung - sie sind viel mehr - ist herausragend! Ich werde jederzeit wieder dort aufschlagen sofern meine Transalp (Motorrad) mich in diese Gegend führt.

Standort zentral gelegen mitten in Peißenberg Ost. Also Top-Lage. Der Service war "bayerisch" aber da extermer Dialekt für uns in Teilen schwieirg. ;-) Das Frühstück war ok, was die auswahl angeht. Die Anrichtung war aber wenig liebevoll. Die beiden gebuchten Zimmer waren sauber, aber sehr einfach. Unser Zimmer war nur über eine "Stiege" zu ere´reichen, eine alte Treppe deren Stufen höher als tief waren, zudem war das Treppenlicht von unten nicht zu schalten. Für ältere Gäste sehr schwierig. Das Zimmer roch muffig, das Bad hatte keinerlei Ablageflächen und die Duschtür war defekt. Alle in Allem für den ausgerufenen Preis nicht zu empfehlen!

Auf unserer Reise nach München, entschieden wir uns einen Besuch bei diesem Gasthof abzustatten. Der Parkplatz war groß genug, den Innenraum bequem, sauber und die Atmosphäre zwischen den Gästen und den Mitarbeitern locker und äußerst freundlich. Nicht nur das servierte Essen, sondern auch die Teller waren alles andere als klein. Dabei war eine große Auswahl an frischen Salaten auch dabei vorhanden. Alles in allem, es war sehr empfehlenswert, richtig schön und gemütlich. Danke und bis bald!

Schweine- und Sauerbraten, Schweinefleisch, Kalbsleber, Schnitzel und vieles mehr mit Semmel- oder Kartoffelknödel, Spätzle, Pommes und lecker Salat vom Salatbuffett. Danke für das gute Essen. Die junge Bedienung braucht teils etwas länger, da wäre zumindest ein Blickkontakt nett, doch es lohnt sich. genügend Parkplätze sind hinterm Haus

Familiengeführtes Hotel mit eigener Metzgerei und famoser Küche. Man fühlt sich als Gast jederzeit herzlich Willkommen und wird wertschätzend empfangen und verpflegt. Sonderwünsche lokaler Speisen werden authentisch und liebevoll erfüllt. Jederzeit wieder!

Lendenspiess war einzigartig gut und mit den Pommes zusammen sehr lecker. Das Schweinerückensteak war lecker und mit Schinken und Käse überbacken. Die selbstgemachten Spätzle waren sehr lecker. Der Salat einwandfrei.

Nach Buchungsanfrage bekam ich schnell Antwort. Die Chefin sagte mir alle Sonderwünsch anstandslos zu, die auch bei Ankunft gewährt wurden. Z.Bp. Separater Parkpl.wegen Gehbehinderung, extra Sessel mit Fleecedecke im Zi; nur 5 Stufen z. Zimmer. Ihnhaber/Familie und auch das Personal waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Frühstück wie Speisen optimal, alles super frisch, große Portionen und schmakhaft! (Vorteil: Eigene Metzgerei) Das Haus ist beliebt und somit stets gut ausgebucht. War dort zu einer großen Familienfeier eingeladen (ca. 100 Personen) der Ablauf gut, die Bedienungen waren ,auf Zack' man musste nicht lange auf Getränke oder Essen warten, alles ging schnell und reibungslos. Respekt. Beim nächsten Besuch bei meinen Verwandten, die in der Nähe wohnen, werde(n) ich (wir) auf jeden Fall wieder im Gasthof zur Post in Peißenberg übernachten.
