A lovely beer garden. Very friendly staff. The food is delicious and plentiful.

Today, I happened to be there by bike and found a very nice beer garden and a wonderful, lovingly decorated inn. And thanks to the very friendly service 😉. And I can also highly recommend the dark wheat beer; I'd love to come back. I wish the owner continued success and always friendly guests. Best regards, Thomas

Excellent meal. The food was really good. Bavarian/German cuisine. The dining rooms with deep brick vaults have a rustic, cozy, yet modern charm. Highly recommended! Be sure to make a reservation!

A truly beautiful Bavarian beer garden, with friendly, fixed conditions! We were a large group, and everyone loved the food! Personally, I would have preferred the salad on the plate with the devil's toast rather than as an appetizer, but that's a matter of taste! We were caught in a thunderstorm and moved inside. It was a perfect, very nice place! Everything is possible here...weddings, baptisms, birthdays, and so on! Highly recommended, but pre-booking is a good idea :)

The wheat beer, presumably from the restaurant's own brewery, is particularly noteworthy: drinkable, full of character, unique, and a true delight. The adjacent beer garden is inviting in nice weather. Plenty of parking is available.

Very good food! Freshly cooked, not the ready-made mush that you often get. Bavarian, home-style, I can highly recommend it (after many visits).

There was nothing to complain about. The meat on my mixed grill plate was tender. But unfortunately the aha moment didn't happen. I was hoping for more after the good reviews. Just solid, home-style cooking, nothing more. The walk from the train station. After all, just under 25 minutes, it wasn't worth it.

Beer is good, food is standard, nothing special. Unfortunately, service sometimes seems a bit overbearing and arrogant. Ambiance and beer garden is nice.

Definitely a quaint and friendly inn, with very good food, a very friendly and quick staff who really take care of the guests. You really don't find that often, I have to say. Someone learned their craft there. Stop by and support this tradition so we can enjoy it for a long time to come.

Food is good, middle-class, medium priced. So far, completely fine. I find the acoustics in the room problematic. When it gets crowded, it's no longer pleasant after 7 p.m. A relaxed table conversation then becomes difficult. So it's best to get there early if the noise is bothersome.

Were there again today and are very satisfied with the friendly service and the excellent cuisine. The price-performance ratio is commendable. Guests who are allowed to bring their cake (not possible in every restaurant) and then get excited about €1 in plate money and write it in a review should think about decency. Maybe you will book at the sports club in the future or similar. Such a great location definitely doesn't need such guests!

At a larger celebration, it is audacious to charge €1 per plate to provide plates for your own cake, as the total turnover was not small. Price-performance borderline.

....I ate a salad.. I think for me... there would be way too much herb stuff underneath.. I don't know that...I had bad flatulence as a result...🙈

I find the restaurant very promising. The service was so friendly and helpful. The food was also great, especially because it was cheap. Even though we didn't make a reservation, they gave us a place for an hour but at least we could eat something. Greetings Jessica

Unfortunately I don't come here often, but I'm impressed every time. It's actually always full, but that doesn't bother you at all, it just gives the cozy Bavarian inn the final touch of authenticity. And a huge compliment to the host / waitress. You radiate such calm even though everything was full. It was really amazing how you served people so calmly. I'd love to do it again more often! 😂

I had the wild goulash and my daughter had the pike perch. Good home-style food with a regional and cultural selection. Great ambience, unfortunately one point deducted because the street is quite loud. However, negligible in good company. Staff quick and friendly.

I was there for dinner yesterday: cozy atmosphere and a nice beer garden, extremely attentive waiters, very good food. Points deducted for the parking situation: there are many, but unfortunately not enough. Also a point deducted because of the noise in the beer garden. The prices are cheap and the quality of the food is great!

Meine Frau und ich haben Mühldorf am Inn besucht und dabei das Gasthaus Zum Steer gefunden, da meine Frau Mittagessen wollte. Trotz vollem Haus (plus Terrasse) waren die jungen Bedienungen sehr schnell und extrem freundlich. Karte zum bestellen war innerhalb von ein paar Minuten am Tisch. Meine Frau hat sich für einen Brauburschenteller (16,50€) und ich für einen Grillteller (16,90€) und einen kleinen Beilagensalt (4,90€!???), dazu noch zwei Johannisbeerschorlen und die Bestellung war beendet, diese wurde auch sehr schnell an den Tisch gebracht. Der Brauburschenteller wurde frisch überbacken und perfekt heiß an den Tisch gebracht, mein Grillteller hatte leider kalte Pommes, diese wurden nach Reklamation sofort in die Küche zurückgebracht und schnell hatte ich frische(heiße) Pommes, leider war derweil das Fleisch nicht mehr heiß...... Die Gerichte waren wohlschmeckend. Nachdem wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, wurden die Reste eingepackt und an den Tisch gebracht. Der Ober fragte nach ob wir auf Kosten des Hauses ein Getränk oder Espresso haben wollen wegen der "kalten Pommes" Resümee: Gerichte waren ok, Service sehr gut und Preise eher hoch für Qualität und Menge, der Preis für den Beilagensalat war einfach schamlos überhöht.

So you can hardly say anything against the food - everything is ok so far - I would advise against the ice cream cafe, however - more water than cafe - but what is very strange is that there are two different menus - a one-page and a bound multi-page one - the one-page seems to be for foreigners to be - maybe certain foods had to go - we couldn't explain it any other way - we didn't get plausible answers when we asked - I'd never experienced anything like that - that's a shame - the Steer didn't actually need something like that - greetings

One of the best Bavarian restaurants I know.

We are excited. Were there today for the communion celebration. We were warmly welcomed, there was a surprise for the child, he was allowed to order first and received his food first. Insanely great staff who clearly enjoy their job. The price is right, the taste is great and the ambience is hard to beat.

You just have to go there. Price top, food very tasty and the service (staff) is simply awesome from 10 to 15. Were very satisfied.
