Gasthof Zum Bären in Stuttgart

We stayed at the Gasthof Bären in Asperg with friends and had a fantastic evening! The Cordon Bleu was absolutely amazing, perfectly prepared and a real treat. My friends' food was also excellent, the portions were generous and we all loved it. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, we felt completely at home. The cozy, Swabian ambience rounded off the evening. Clear recommendation - we will definitely come back! Really great evening! again!

A really very cozy restaurant with German / Croatian cuisine. The price-performance ratio is great and the portions are generous. The food simply tastes delicious. There is also a great grill plate, from baked sheep's cheese to schnitzel, Maultaschen and steaks. Hospitality is at the top here and the service is very attentive and friendly. There is also something for children, who are also very welcome here. There are probably also rooms to stay overnight, but we didn't use them. Therefore I can't contribute anything. This is the second time we have been there and we would love to come back.

We ordered schnitzel with spaetzle to take away, and not only was it incredibly delicious, the schnitzels were still crispy and crunchy when we got home. The portion was very large, and for the price, it was almost more value for money, as the quality was also top-notch. This definitely won't be our last time :)

We were there for dinner, 4 people. The service was very friendly and quick, but unfortunately one wish was not fulfilled. The salad was very bland. The schnitzel only tasted like the breading and some of the other meat was very toe. The pineapple and tomato were tasteless. On the other hand, the fries and rice were delicious. In terms of price, I have to say that it is too expensive for the quality, but a decent amount will make it worth it.

There were three of us and all three of us ate excellent food. I can only rave about my roast beef. A great Argentinian steak that was cooked to perfection, the fried potatoes were sliced ​​very thin, extremely seasoned and fried, a dream from Sössle... even the side salad had a harmonious dressing. We spontaneously stopped in for dinner after a hike and were happy that there was still a free table in the beer garden. It was very busy, but the service was still pleasantly quick and there weren't too long waiting times for the food, even though there was a wedding being celebrated in the hall at the same time. It was delicious and we felt completely comfortable.

Small village hotel. The room reminded me more of my teenage room than a hotel room. The room and the whole hotel are clean, but you could think about the towels (graters). Smoking is prohibited in the hotel, I was "lucky" to have the room above the smoking area and shortly after 6:00 a.m. the clouds of smoke moved into the room... The hotel does not offer breakfast!

Beautiful, traditional inn with friendly service and really great food. You really get a decent portion and the prices are more than reasonable. Had a cordon bleu + 4 beers and a special - with a tip I paid €40. Can only recommend the restaurant and the friendly staff. 10/10

Die Speisekarte bietet etwas für jeden Geschmack. Die Auswahl ist vielfältig. Es gibt auch einen Mittagstisch. Bei uns standen Käsespätzle und Schnitzel Jäger Art zur Auswahl. Ich habe mich für das "Bauerhacksteak" von der Speisekarte entschieden. Die Getränke waren schnell serviert und das Essen war ebenfalls zügig zubereitet. Die Portionen waren viel größer als in anderen Restaurants. Geschmacklich war alles sehr sehr lecker. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ich war nicht im Hotel, möchte nur die Gaststätte bewerten. Das Ambiente verspricht Tradition und ist sehr angenehm. Spiegelt sich auf dem Teller leider nicht wieder. Ich hatte die Maultaschen und auf klassische Zubereitung, wie sie dort hingehört, gehofft. Qualität und Menge waren absolut in Ordnung, die Maultaschen garantiert vom Metzger und auch der Schinken, auch der Käse mit dem überbacken wurde war sehr gut. Leider wurden die Maultaschen nicht zuvor (mit irgendetwas Frischem, was ein perfektes Essen geworden wäre) in einer Pfanne angebraten sondern kalt in einer Backform in Sahne, verfeinert mit einem Convenience Pulver in den Backofen geschoben. Absolut kein Genuss. Schade. Grundzutaten, Location und Service waren O.K.

Die Zimmer sind ein wenig im die Jahre gekommen, aber das Bett war sehr gut. Das Zimmer unterm Dach war wirklich sehr heiss. Wenn es draußen sehr warm ist, ist es echt schwierig im Zimmer. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Der Gasthof hat eigene kostenfreie Parkplätze, was ein riesiger Vorteil ist. Am Abend muss man nur eine Treppe runter und sitzt im Biergarten und kann entspannt etwas Essen und Trinken. Am Essen gibt es nichts zu kritisieren, der Salat war lecker und der Preis fair. Ich kann die Gästezimmer und das Restaurant wirklich empfehlen.

Fahren auch nachdem der Wirt von Marbach nach Asperg umgezogen ist, den weiteren Weg gerne hin, weil das Cordon Bleu so lecker, Wirt und Mitarbeiterinnen so nett und das Ambiente drinnen, wie auch draußen angenehm sind. Langer Satz zusammengefasst: Klasse Lokal!

Schönes Ambiente, toller Service, top Essen. Wir haben mit einer 20 Köpfigen Gruppe an einem Donnerstag Abend dort gesessen. Es war sehr gut besucht, trotzdem ging es schnell und sehr Freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut Fleisch top, Duvetsch? Reis megalecker und Pommes perfekt.
