The best Wiener Schnitzel I have eaten within a 50 km radius. Very easy on the stomach, lean, yet not dry and tasty. Switching from potato salad to fried potatoes is no problem either. Portions very large, ketchup without sweeteners :-) Draft beer very good. Lemonade also cheap. Very nice waiter. Very nice waitresses, really sweet. Everything was very clean. I would be happy to come to you again. It's worth it, even if I have to drive a few km. It's best to make a reservation, it's busy.

We received a super friendly welcome and the food was super tasty! Have a nice shower. Unfortunately, you don't see many of those hospitable restaurants anymore where you can enjoy good old-fashioned food.

At the Auwirt you will also receive very friendly service on Mondays. Tyrolean Gröstl and the turkey schnitzel were very tasty and filling. The restaurant is rustic and comfortably furnished.

We also ended up here by chance... shortly before the end of our vacation here in the beautiful Berchtesgadener Land... we already had everything: bread dumplings, roast pork, etc., but no Kaiserschmarrn... that's there Not on the menu, but since it was quiet there for a moment, the chef freshly prepared a double portion for us. Where else can you find something like that??? We were totally thrilled...about this service and of course about the Kaiserschmarrn...it was just perfect. Thanks again to everyone there.

We were actually passing through yesterday evening and ended up in this nice restaurant by chance. It was very full and no table was free, BUT the very nice landlord made an effort at short notice and got us a place at a regular table. We were very happy about that. When we were finished, I had a nice conversation with him because we were looking for a place to stay overnight with our camper. He promptly offered us the guest parking space. Found this great business by chance. The beer garden invites you to linger. The service is friendly and very quick. The food was a dream. We had roast pork. A poem...price performance is right! The toilets were also clean. If we're on the corner again, we'll be happy to come back! Hot meals are offered throughout. Only Thursdays are days off. We are happy to recommend the Gasthof Auwirt.

I went there on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation and alone. Outside it's persistent rain and nasty cold weather. I passed by on foot and found the inn to be well-kept and inviting from the outside. Inside, everything was well-kept and inviting. The service staff was able to offer me a table despite pending reservations. At the beginning of my stay there was nothing going on, but soon the guest room began to fill up, which you could also tell from the volume in the guest room. I observed that out-of-home catering was also offered. The inn is really an address and I would say that most of the guests were locals but that was just my impression and that's never wrong. The menu was extensive and included good dishes that you can't get everywhere. The soup and the venison ragout were very tasty and tasty. Only the drinks service was a bit slow, but you also have to acknowledge that the inn filled up quickly and there were a lot of guests present. I can really recommend the Gasthaus Auwirt and would visit it again on my own. The price-performance ratio is good. Greetings from the other side of the Saalach.

Christmas The taste of pork sausages always reminds me of my childhood Christmas. The liver dumpling in the rather salty soup is also reminiscent of the past. I keep coming here for the sausages. Unfortunately, the place looks desolate inside and out. But the locals know what to expect. Worth a trip for Salzburgers

Es widerspricht jeder Logik, wenn man vom Äußerem Eindruck ausgeht, das das Lokal in der Regel voll ist. Trostlos rund um's Haus und ein Nebenzimmer, wo man beim Anblick regelrecht Mutlos wird so kahl und hallend. Die Bedienung ist aber sehr bemüht und die meisten Gäste sind Gruppen oder Familien und nehmen diese diese TRISTESSE wohl nicht wahr. Entschädigt wird man aber durch eine hervorragende Leberknödelsuppe mit bißfesten Gemüsestreifen und ist es eben der GESCHMACK der Schweinsbratwürstel, die mich immer wieder da hinfahren laßen, denn es erinnert mich an die Würstel meiner Kindheit zu Weihnachten. An der Mimik der Gäste an den Nebentischen ist zu erkennen, das hier alle zufrieden sind und paßt hier Preis -Leistung. Da, meiner Schätzung nach, 95% der Gäste hier Stammgäste sind, besteht eigentlich auch keine Veranlassung eine andere Atmosphäre für teures Geld anzuschaffen.

We noticed the inn by chance while driving past. We were greeted very friendly and ordering drinks and food was quick and uncomplicated. Special requests (no caraway, fries instead of spaetzle) were no problem. During the meal we were also asked whether it tasted good and whether we were satisfied. The taste of the food was excellent and you could tell that the dishes were freshly prepared. Can only recommend the Auwirt. Went there again the next day. Dear Auwirt team: TOP! Keep it up.

Since my wife and I didn't have good experiences about two years ago, we didn't visit the inn again. After a bike ride today, I thought I would stop by again despite everything to have something to eat and drink. The friendly staff brought drinks and cutlery, but the food never arrived. Even when ordering the second drink, the staff didn't notice that there was unused cutlery at the table, which you only get after ordering in the outdoor dining area. In short, 0 stars for food because it wasn't served, so it's not possible to rate it. Service 1 star because at least the drink was served friendly and quickly. Ambiance is very good, it doesn't help, I have that at home too.

Spent a lovely weekend here parked with the truck. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food was great and plenty on a plate. Use of a shower which was clean and good hot water. Thank you for your hospitality.

We often took a break here and fortified ourselves. Last Sunday the beer garden was well attended and we asked guests if we could join them at the table. They didn't have a problem, but the service. We were told that we weren't allowed to sit at the table because the boss didn't want that. Since there was no empty table, we had to leave and are angry.

Super hospitable and very warm, no matter when you come, even if it's very busy. Food super good and seasonal. They are really nice to dogs, even when they are lying fully stretched out on the floor. You always get warm food, no matter when you come. We have often picked up roast pork and schnitzel for celebrations, it was always in great warming containers and was super tasty. The prices are very reasonable, including the red wine. Always my pleasure

Wir waren am Sonntag NM (15:30) auf der Suche nach einem Lokal zum Essen. In BGD hatte gefühlt jedes Ziel geschlossen so landeten wir am Heimweg beim Au-Wirt Was soll man sagen Geniales Ambiente, perfekte Bedienung und dass Essen ausgezeichnet und preislich mehr als ok. Wir kommen gerne wieder, auch in größerer Runde So muss Wirtshaus sein 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Wir waren zu dritt an einem Samstagmittag beim Auwirt. Aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen mal ausprobiert. Der Gastraum war voll und wir konnten noch einen freien Platz finden. Die Kellnerin (Azubi) kam sofort und brachte 3 Speisekarten. Nam die Bestellung der Getränke auf und diese wurde n schnell serviert. Auch das Essen kam nach einer sehr angenehmen Wartezeit. Cordon Bleu mit Pommes und Preiselbeeren war gut. Rindergulasch mit Knödel und Krautsalat war gut, Fleisch war weich. Nun der Schweinsbraten, ertränkt in einer dicken Soße, keine Kruste und der Semmelknödel hat auch nur im vorbeigehen ein Ei gesehen, das Beste an dem Gericht war der Krautsalat wobei ohne Speck und ohne Kümmel ( Geschmackssache). Die Lautstärke im Lokal ist schon Grenzwertig, besonders wenn große Gruppen eine Feier abhalten.

Urig gemütlich und freundlicher, schneller Service....findet man leider heute nicht mehr so oft Danke für den schönen Abend

Wir waren nun spontan zum 2. Mal dort und hatten Glück ein Plätzchen zu bekommen (Vorreservierung somit empfehlenswert). Abermals überaus freundlich, sehr gutes Essen, sehr sauber und auch preislich absolut in Ordnung. Gerne wieder

Wir hatten einen Tisch in ihrem schönen Biergarten, wir wurden sehr sehr nett bedient und das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Alles perfekt. Das Putensteak Diavolo mit leichter Schärfe schmeckte hervorragend genauso auch der Zwiebelrostbraten und das Schweinelendchen. Der Cappuccino war ebenfalls sehr lecker.

Waren heute zum wiederholten Male beim Auwirt im Biergarten. (Einer der schönsten überhaupt) top Service, hervorragende ukrainischen Mädchen, waren sehr fleißig und freundlich, weiter so! Essen sehr gut. Gasthaus steigert sich von Jahr zu Jahr mehr. Gerne wieder
