All the schnitzels were fresh – you could even hear them being tenderized in the kitchen. The mushroom sauce was incredibly fresh, and the fries and spaetzle were also delicious. Overall, everything was top-notch and tasted fantastic. The service was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Plus, the portions were generous – truly perfect. Highly recommended!

The food is really delicious and fresh, nothing to complain about. The staff is also very personable and extremely friendly! The ambiance doesn't get many stars because people are often a bit too drunk there, but unfortunately, that's the reputation of the beer garden in front of it, and they suffer from it. Otherwise, they really put effort into the decor, and the hygiene is top-notch; it's always clean. You can also order via their app for delivery or pick-up. My food has never been cold here. I'd happily come back anytime.

Tried to eat at this place as I was passing through the locality (Thanhausen), and it had positive reviews. There was no one at the bar. We waited for 10 minutes but no one came to talk to us while we waited at the bar. We went through another door and a lady told us that no one understands German, and she will send someone. We waited for a few more minutes but nobody came and we just left. In similar circumstances, where we do not speak the same language, we managed to communicate using Chat GPT and Google Translate, but if no one comes to talk to us, it's as if we are not welcome.

We were here with our team. There were 25 of us, and maybe 40 people in total in the beer garden. For such a small crowd, the food and drinks took a very long time to arrive. But! The food was 10/10, very tasty and fresh, and very reasonably priced. If you stop by here on a relaxing afternoon, you'll have a great dining experience!

We, two adults and two children, came here for lunch on Saturday. The staff was very friendly, and the kids were immediately offered toys. Outside is a lovely beer garden right on the Mindel River. We had cheese spaetzle, schnitzel with fries, and a chicken burger. Everything was delicious, and special requests were no problem. The service is fast, the food is fresh, and delicious! We can recommend Gasthof 23 without reservation!

We stopped at 23 today by chance as we were out on our motorbikes and not from the area. The service from the boss was super friendly. The Allgäu sausage salad was simply fantastic. Not the usual, but very fresh and with a mustard and honey sauce that I have never tasted before. As one of us had a burger and we are burger fans, we shared another burger and that was also absolutely fantastic. Then our colleague's motorbike wouldn't start. While we were wondering what to do, the landlord came over and brought everyone a bottle of water on the house. I don't think I need say anything more, do I? Brilliant service. Great advice and incredibly good, fresh food. At really good prices. We'll be back. We'll definitely make the two-hour journey again. Thanks for everything.

Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with the food twice. But the hosts are always very friendly and accommodating. I've even celebrated a birthday there and hosted a family reunion there. A location where you feel comfortable! Cozy atmosphere, humane prices, good food and lovely employees! The inn is run by a lovely couple who warmly welcome you. People like to go out for a spontaneous drink here and they're just as happy to come back!

I was there yesterday with my wife, I ate an onion roast medium medium, it was fried to perfection, the sauce was delicious, none from the packet or bucket, homemade spaetzle! So I would like to recommend it to everyone who reads this. My wife ate a turkey schnitzel, it was definitely fresh because we heard the cook knocking the schnitzel, so it wasn't from the fridge like so often in other restaurants, it was very well seasoned and also delicious. The wait was about 20 minutes which I really appreciated!! Just keep it up, I wish you continued success!

We were nearby over the weekend and while looking for a restaurant we noticed Gasthof23. The food was very tasty and the portions were very generous! We have rarely felt as welcome as a family with a small child as we did there. The hospitality, especially towards our little daughter, was sensational! Only recommended!

On our way to Garmisch our kids were hungry and I found this place using Google. Eric, the owner, was an amazing host. The food and atmosphere were very relaxing and parking was convenient. Their burgers are all handmade and so good and be sure to try the croquettes with cream sauce! They even had games and things for the kids to do! Ordered a burger for the first time today. I'm very particular here and usually make (grill) these myself. Most other restaurants here "artisticate" themselves with creations that are of high quality in terms of craftsmanship and content, but lack the "burger soul". Things were completely different with our burgers from Gasthof23. Sensationally delicious, classic with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, cheddar and bomb burger sauce on 4cm beef patty(s) and simply enormous. And by enormous I mean “huge”! I'm almost 2m tall and weigh 99kg, but I had no chance of simply taking a bite of the XXL burger I asked for. And at a great price. The side salad would also be a normal salad for many others. Delicious, large fries rounded off the super tasty meal. It's really worth ordering. Thank you very much for the great food and a huge compliment. PS: When delivered, it is also placed on cardboard etc. and not on aluminum. And yet everything arrives at the perfect temperature. It also needs to be highlighted because it's the little things.

Homemade and good cuisine. The food looks and tastes very appetizing. There are 8 dishes for vegetarians. Large beer garden and a really nice restaurant inside, but the building doesn't look so inviting from the outside. The staff is very friendly and really quick. Only recommended!

The place doesn't look that inviting from the outside at first glance, but the inside is nicely decorated. So don't be scared off and go in! Food is very tasty and looks great! Large portions, everything fresh and a great selection. Different buns and sauces can be selected for the burgers.

I ordered here for the first time and was incredibly pleasantly surprised. The order was placed over the phone because I'm not a fan of Lieferando & Co. The phone call was very relaxed and I received a very warm welcome and advice. 5/5 stars in all categories because the food was great and the service was perfect. A cheeseburger with fries and the Cordon Bleu with croquettes and cream sauce were ordered. The packaging of both dishes is great. It was perfectly warm and ready at the appointed time (since I picked it up myself because I was on the road anyway). The food was perfectly packaged in recyclable material, the sauce in a small plastic container and the rest in an environmentally friendly cardboard box. In contrast to the crazy competition, where there is an oversupply in Thannhausen's gastronomy, emphasis is still placed on the garnish and the visual impression of the food. The fries and croquettes were crispy and the Cordon Bleu meat was super good. The burger looked very good and was generously topped. The patty was also grilled on point and super juicy (that speaks for the good quality of the meat) I'm looking forward to the beer garden season, I'll definitely eat here again. Keep it up 😊👍

Nice location, nice little indoor restaurant with (except white) comfortable chairs and benches! Food is really great for the price and the bartender and waiter are very, very nice :) The two dogs are also super friendly, I can only recommend them if you want to go out for something to eat. But I'm afraid it's too small for big celebrations like birthdays or something like that. Everyone got the food warm at the same time, in a group of 5. Pleasant prices, I paid for a burger, fries, a drink and an alcohol. Paid drink €21. We as a group would love to come back^^

We have found our new favorite delivery service.. we ordered: The crispy chicken burger with fries (really very crispy but the meat is nice and juicy and not dry!) The cheeseburger (also super tasty here, meat nice and soft and juicy) could only need a little more cheese but that's a small thing and a matter of taste 🫶 All I can say is: test it yourself! It's so DELICIOUS!!!!

Schon das 3. mal Bestellt jedes Mal essen Tip Top einer der besten Lieferservice in der Umgebung. Lieferung immer vor der angegebenen Zeit. Werden dort auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen.

In grade mal einer Stunde aus dem Himmel zu mir auf den Tisch geflattert. Ich habe lange nicht mehr so frisches und gutes Essen gegessen. Es hat Spaß gemacht, die Gerichte aus den Boxen auszupacken und jedes mal ein anderes gelungenes Kunstwerk zu sehen. Preislich extrem lohnenswert. Mit grade mal 40€ hatten wir das Clubsandwich (2STK) den Fitness Salat (Große Box) den XXL Burger und die Chickenwings. Für zwei Personen ist noch ein ordentliches Frühstück über geblieben. Top wirklich!
