We were there for the first time today and we were given a recommendation in advance, which we chose. The schnitzel buffet was excellent and definitely had something for every taste. The service was really attentive and courteous. In any case, thanks again to the nice gentleman who organized a table for us inside because we felt disturbed outside due to a wasp. The view is great to enjoy and the interior is also rustic. Overall, definitely recommended and we will definitely be back! :-)

We had a very good meal there and had a pleasant evening. The service was very nice and the owner is a restaurateur with heart and soul. The fillet steak was great and the view from the sun terrace was simply wonderful. For those who are really hungry, the schnitzel buffet is an absolute recommendation.

Actually a very nice restaurant with a great view over the old town and a generally very stylish ambience. A big negative point, however, is the service robot, which fits into this type of restaurant about as well as a pair of pants that are too big. Unfortunately it takes away a lot of the atmosphere. A lack of staff in the catering industry is certainly an issue, but this “colleague” would certainly be better off in a busy fast food joint.

I was able to celebrate my 30th birthday in the Alm. Called a week in advance - made a reservation - I was able to come with 12 people without any problems. We got a large table near the buffet. All of my guests chose the buffet except for one tarte flambée. The buffet price/performance was incredibly great, the schnitzels were very tasty, the selection was just right (not too overwhelming, but not too little either). The tarte flambée was generously topped, large and tasty. The drinks and service were also great, everything came in a reasonable time, the virus cleaner song was a highlight for us, and of course a bottle of virus cleaner to take home was included - very tasty! The view in the restaurant is of course unbeatable, but you HAVE to take the bumpy path to the restaurant and there is no parking lot. Of course, you'll only be lucky enough to find a space for your car in the old town. All in all, I was very satisfied and have positive feedback from all guests - we would love to come back!

He made fun of my friend's food intolerances and made the entire group of about 20 people feel unwelcome. He refused drink tickets and there was only a schnitzel buffet without any information about the ingredients... Now the kicker: After she wrote a disappointed Google review while she was still in the restaurant, we were immediately expelled from the restaurant... I really don't have the words... Many thanks to the nice lady behind the counter who tried to mediate.

Ein feucht/fröhlich gelungener Abend. Essen sehr reichhaltig und gut. Mit Virenputzer geimpft und ihn weggefegt. In zwei Wochen kommen wir wieder.

We made a reservation by phone and the reservation worked perfectly. We were assigned a great spot, although it has to be said that all seats have a great view on the terrace. The interior also offers a cozy and modern atmosphere. The service and the landlord are very friendly and respond to the wishes of their customers. We chose the schnitzel buffet as our meal. The meat was great, there were lots of different delicious homemade sauces, croquettes, hash browns and potato pieces, to name just a few. There was also a great salad bar where you could put together your own salad. The food was great, the baked potato with salmon was also really tasty. The menu offers a wide selection so there is something for everyone. A special highlight is Ms. Meier, a robot who supports the innkeeper with serving and retrieving food. We can easily give five stars here for the service and the quality of the food. This was our second time eating out and we will visit the restaurant more often because we really enjoyed it here.

For me, the headline is: Totally overwhelmed. 3 service staff for the fully occupied restaurant, several groups, well-filled terrace, that was clearly not enough. Waiting times were long, it seemed disorganized. You can order via QR code, we found out at some point whether We didn't know that this was desirable for a group of 20 people. The service was obviously stressed and really unfriendly at the beginning. The ambience and view of the old town are very nice. The large table by the window that had been reserved long in advance was given to another group. A little explanation of the ordering process would have straightened everything out. For the buffet: some side dishes "wedges, fries, etc." were completely dried up. A real shame.

A drink highlight is the virus cleaner, a self-created liqueur. The service was friendly and accommodating. Where it was rush hour, they sometimes couldn't keep up. It took a long time before we could order something to drink. Here, too, there is a special feature: Ms. Maier, a robot, who actively helps when it comes to carrying heavy things. The restaurant is modern and stylishly furnished. From the outside terrace you have a great view of Warburg's old town. So: The Alm is worth a visit.

Salad and vegetables including potatoes and croquettes, so everything your heart desires. Wir waren am Donnerstag da, zum Grill-Buffet! Das war mega, originelle Salate und Beilagen z.B Champignons-Salat, leckerer Couscous-Salat. Ofengemüse… Ich war mit Freundinnen dort, hatten einen lustigen Abend mit einen leckeren Glas „Virenputzerspritz“! Nette und zuvorkommende Bewirtung! Ein toller Abend, auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Ausblick, auf die Warburger Altstadt.

Very nice view and location. Beautifully designed restaurant. The employees are all very friendly. The virus cleaner spritz is absolutely delicious. The salads and side dishes were all very good and tasty. When it comes to things from the grill (grill buffet), there is definitely still room for improvement in terms of selection/quality and cooking condition. Unfortunately we had to wait a little longer until we were shown to the table, but it was still within limits.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen. Direkt am Eingang wurden wir herzlichst empfangen und zu unserem Tisch geführt. Die Empfehlungen waren super. Der Virenputzer Spitz war lecker und genau das Richtige bei dem schönen Wetter. Auch beim Essen hat die Bedienung Wort gehalten. Das Spargelgericht inkl. Schnitzel war sehr lecker. Die ganze Zeit wurden super bedient und das Personal war zuvorkommend. Zwar waren wir nur auf der Durchreise aber ein Wiedersehen ist es 100 % Wert.

We were there with a larger group... Some people really liked it... But many didn't... The service staff who support the owner are all very nice and attentive... The boss, on the other hand, is full of overestimation of himself and you his concept... There is little to no flexibility when it comes to the dishes... Substituting salad for vegetables was immediately blocked because that wouldn't be on the menu... Further questions or requests were also blocked in the same harsh manner. Unlikable is putting it nicely. The schnitzel buffet is for big eaters, but too expensive for a normal appetite... The sauces had an unappetizing skin from being kept warm... the schnitzels were always fresh and rich. The hot stone with steak was quite well received...but it's better to wear insensitive clothing here. For everyone who ordered, the preparation took over an hour... The acoustics in the large room are catastrophic... Very loud and cannot be endured for long when the room is full. Conclusion: even if the quality of the food was quite good, I wouldn't go there again.... However, this is mainly due to the lack of flexibility in the kitchen and, above all, because of the owner

The Gasthaus zur Alm offers a great view of Warburg and is modern and stylishly furnished. The service is very friendly and attentive. My highlight was the food: I chose the grilled cheese, which is grilled on a hot stone. There were also delicious, diverse vegetables for grilling and very (!) tasty dips. The price-performance ratio is TOP. Thank you for this great experience. If Warburg wasn't so far away, I would be a regular :-) And still: Until next time!

We were guests at the Alm today and got a very professional impression when we booked the appointment. Confirmation came via SMS with all relevant data during the phone call. The welcome was very warm, the atmosphere was very inviting and the service was very attentive, empathetic and fond of children. The food is first class and, for the slightly higher price, absolutely appropriate in terms of quality and presentation. Last night the four of us ate at the Gasthaus zur Alm. Unfortunately, the restaurant was inexplicably very empty that evening, so the schnitzel buffet was unfortunately not offered. However, we were offered schnitzel and were allowed to choose the sauce to go with it. We started with a virus cleaner spray, which was recommended to us at the beginning. It had a strong taste but was very tasty. As a starter, the schnitzel eaters were allowed to go to the salad bar; the salad was fresh, varied and delicious. For the main course we had 3 schnitzels, which were really exceptionally good, and 1x the hot stone with beef sirloin steak, which is also highly recommended. For dessert there was a mascarpone cream with red fruits, also very tasty. In my opinion one of the most beautiful locations in the Warburg area, very beautifully and idyllicly furnished, with a wonderful view over Warburg. The location can also be used for celebrations with a maximum of 100 people. get booked. Everything looks neat and clean, you immediately feel at home. The service was also 1A, the owner himself served us. He was very well received by all guests with his style. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Ambiente ist toll, die Bewirtung erstklassig. Der Wirt hielt uns mit kleinen Anekdoten bei Laune, es war kurzweilig. Das Essen war hervorragend, wir hatten Gänsebraten mit Rotkohl und Klößen, sowie Filetstreifen vom heißen Stein mit Gemüse und Backkartoffeln. Sehr lecker, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren Donnerstag Abend zu 9+(2)dort zum Schnitzelbuffet mit Virenputzer als Appetizer (Zitronen-Ingwer-Spritz). Das Essen und der Spritz waren sehr lecker und auskömmlich. Die zwei DoggyBags für unsere Stausteher waren liebevoll verpackt und wurden gerne entgegengenommen! Wenn sich die Möglichkeit ergibt, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Tolles Ambiente passend zum urigen Flair vom Warburger Städchen und der dazugehörigen weiten Aussicht über die Altstadt, wie als wäre man wirklich auf einer Alm. Viel Liebe zum Detail, gepaart mit frischen, leckerem Essen und einem freundlichen Service, dass auch immer für einen kleinen Spaß am Rande zu haben ist. Wir gehen schon seit Jahren regelmäßig dort sehr gerne essen und für uns persönlich, ist es das Beste Schnitzel was wir in Warburg und Umgebung haben! Innen saftig, außen kross. - Ein Meisterwerk für jeden Schnitzelliebhaber. ❤️ Im Buffet gibt es eine ordentliche Auswahl an Beilagen und auch für den veganen Gaumenschmaus ist einiges dabei! Abschließend können ich und mein Mann nur sagen, dass Markus und Petra, sowie das gesamte Team, so herzliche Menschen sind, wo man zum Essen nicht mehr in ein Restaurant kommt, sondern wie zu Freunden nach Hause.

Wir waren hier auf der Durchreise und entschlossen uns einen Abstecher in die Altstadt zu machen. Das Restaurant liegt wenige Minuten zu Fuss vom Parkplatz. Toller Service und gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Ein wirklich schönes Gasthaus mit Hanglage in der Altstadt von Warburg, deswegen auch mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf eben diese Altstadt. Für Rollstuhlfahrer nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen, da die Wege zum Gasthaus schon recht steil sind, aber mit Hilfe ist es machbar. Die Außenterrasse ist großzügig und durch Glaswände gut Windgeschützt und immer mit einem himmlischen Blick auf die Warburger Alt- und Neustadt. Die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich, was nicht negativ ist, denn dann gibt es frisch zubereitetes Essen und nicht ewig warm gehaltene Speisen. Auch die Preise sind nicht abgehoben und dies gilt sowohl für das Essen, als auch für die Getränke. Das Personal ist sehr nett (wir hatten den Chef) und sehr zuvorkommend. Highlight ist allerdings Frau Meier, ein Service Roboter, der Speisen und Getränke bringt und auch beim Abräumen hilft. Alles in Allem war wir sehr gerne zu Gast und werden beim nächsten Besuch in Warburg wieder dort einkehren.

Der Inhaber überzeugt maximal mit Arroganz und Überheblichkeit leider nicht mal gerechtfertigt. Absolut desinteressiert was Kundenkontakt betrifft und sobald etwas nicht nach seiner Nase geht wirds emotional ungehalten was Aussagen betrifft . Schnitzelbuffet ist guter Durchschnitt heißer Stein Absolut nicht interessant aber ist Geschmackssache. Das Ambiente kann allerdings überzeugen bleibt aber auch das einzig positive was ich mitnehme.

Mega Ambiente, drinnen wie draußen - Wahnsinn der Ausblick von der Aussenterrasse, richtig lecker gegessen - Schnitzel-Buffet - und der Service von Frau Meier - einfach sensationell… vorab der Viren-Putzer-Spritz, davon haben wir direkt eine Flasche mit nach Hause genommen. Wir haben lange nicht so gut gegessen. Hier stimmt einfach alles bis ins kleinste Detail. Sehr schöne Räumlichkeiten. Wir haben uns für ein Hüftsteak und die verschiedenen Steakstreifen auf heißen Stein entschieden. Außerordentliche Qualität, frische Beilagen, alles sehr schön angerichtet und mit tollen hausgemachten Dipps serviert. Frische Kräuter, nicht nur für das Auge, haben unsere Gerichte abgerundet. Das gesamte Personal, einschließlich Chef sind sehr aufmerksam, und zuvorkommend. Besonderes Spezial ist der hauseigene „Virenputzer“ Spritz, ein sehr erfrischendes, leckeres Getränk in hübschen Gläsern. Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Haben wir noch nirgends auf der Karte gesehen. Das Konzept des Hauses ist außerordentlich und wir kommen sehr gern wieder. Auch von weiter weg! Vielen Dank für alles.
