Very friendly service, a real asset to Rennerod. The onion schnitzel with fries and salad was the best I've had in a long time. But now it's undergoing a spectacular demise, closing without notice. 🤬 Many people with vouchers can no longer redeem them and are rightfully annoyed. Lost their money? Better not come back. It's a shame for the waiters.

Well, where do I even begin? First of all, we've been here several times, and at first we were impressed by the effort they put into it and how everything was executed. Well, there's not much of that left today. It's gotten worse each time. Our (definitely last) visit was the culmination of this development. We waited almost 15 minutes before the waiter even came over. We placed our order, and from then on, patience was required, even though the restaurant was completely empty of customers except for two occupied tables. Perhaps this is already a sign of this trend...? After 35 minutes, the salad and mushrooms arrived. First, let's talk about the prices, which are quite reasonable here. 9.50 for stuffed mushrooms with a ready-made sauce and a tiny flatbread. You can do it, but you don't have to. Inflation aside, some things here aren't entirely understandable. 11€ for a pizza... But for these prices, I expect two things: top quality and impeccable service. This place definitely has some catching up to do! We had a salad that was obviously not quite fresh. When we tried to complain, the "head waiter" came over. to our table to explain that iceberg lettuce is supposed to look like that. When I questioned this, I received a less than professional reaction, which I don't want to repeat in detail. It was very unpleasant. That's not what hospitality looks like. But without the guest, the host is nothing. It's just the way it is. The man who explained to us that the salad looked normal was nowhere to be seen from then on. Further conversation was impossible. But the absolute cheek was the "busboy" who, while checking out the guests at the next table, uttered a completely unacceptable saying. He clearly told the other guests, "If you look, you will find." That's just not acceptable. Not when the criticism was justified and, above all, delivered in a friendly and careful manner. All in all, I can only say that there's not much left of the initial effort. What remains is a hefty price and a guest who is taken for granted. It's a shame. But there are still really good pizzerias in the surrounding area, so it's not really a loss. And I'm actually all the more curious about the owner's response, as I find dealing with criticism difficult, which is also evident in some reviews. It's a shame that they don't understand that criticism is often only expressed to give people a chance to improve—assuming they're able to accept it.

I am 100% satisfied. I celebrated my farewell party there with colleagues. From the ambiance on the very tasteful outdoor terrace to the food, it was a perfect evening. Friendly service; nothing was missing! I highly recommend it.
