Gasthaus zum Roten Hirsch in Treffurt

Everyone has a bad day, but this was our second family celebration, and the quality of the experience was very poor. The service was inattentive and clearly overwhelmed. The food was overcooked or tough, one dish was cold, the potatoes were half-raw, and the dumplings, sauces, and Kaiserschmarrn were all pre-made. We would have preferred to give it zero stars. We will not be returning to this restaurant and certainly cannot recommend it.

The stars speak for themselves 🥰. The restaurant is run with love and dedication, outstanding food quality, and passion. Whether it's the kitchen fairies or the waitresses, guests and their physical well-being are always well taken care of. You can hold your celebration on site or order a delicious buffet to go home, no matter the occasion. The quality of the ingredients and, of course, the overall food are always kept in mind. Individual requests for vegetarian dishes are also no problem. The ambience in the dining room and in the party room is rustic and cozy. The deer accompanies you the entire time. All in all - fantastic!!! Note regarding the last review: Unfortunately, Mr. Torsten Schiemlau's review does not refer to the "Roter Hirsch" in IFTA. Some of the dishes mentioned have never been served in Ifta, and there is no steep spiral staircase either. It's a shame, as this review was mistakenly submitted for the "Roter Hirsch" in Ifta.

We had a very nice celebration at the Roter Hirsch. The buffet was amazing. There are not many people left who can combine professional expertise and passion.

Excellent service, great atmosphere

Not only can you eat well and enjoy a draft drink here, but you can also stay overnight! And all at fair prices! Unfortunately, this place is far too rare, but it's always great.

Wunderbare Bewirtung und leckeres Essen

Es war einfach nur schön. Eine perfekte u Unterkunft für Menschen, die Kontakt zu der Grossfamilie wünschen. Auch das Essen war liebevoll zubereitet. Wir kommen wieder!!! Karola und Jakob, die Pilger vom Bodensee.

Seit meiner Kindheit mit Opa zu Kali. Ist eine tolle Kneipe nach nem spazieren gehen einkehren und ein paar Bierchen genießen...... Christiane macht das super weiter und bietet sehr gutes Essen und Partyservice an. Super lecker und eine Dorfschänke wie sie sein muss.....

Ein sehr schöner Ort um Urlaub zu machen

Eine wunderschöne Dorfkneipe, ganz im Zeichen des Hirsches, den Mal überall im Ambiente wieder findet. Die Inhaberin ist super nett und immer zuvor kommend. Wenn man auf der Durchreise ist, kann man hier nicht nur sein Bier trinken, sondern auch wunderbar nächtigen. Und auch ein Partyservice wird angeboten. Egal ob man wo anders feiert und nur das Essen gebracht haben möchte oder vor Ort feiert - es gibt eigentlich immer sehr leckeres Essen.

Ein sehr schöner Kirmes Freitag, danke dem Personal vom ,, Roten Hirsch " und der Kirmes Gesellschaft viel Spass für die nächsten Tage.

Sehr guter und schmackhaftes Essen für kleines Geld. Die Preise für Essen und Getränke sind bei der heutigen Marktlage schon fast zu niedrig angesetzt. Das Personal ist freundlich und und das Ambiente sehr sauber. Das Gasthaus ist in einem ländlichen Stil gehalten und verfügt über Zimmer die für eine Übernachtung gemietet werden können. Fazit: Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!
