Yes, very nice owners, boss cooks, boss serves. I've been going there for a very long time (10 years or more) and have never been disappointed!! Everyone, very competent and more importantly, very personable.

Good food, quite inexpensive (literally). Very friendly and courteous staff. I'd love to come back!

It was clean. We didn't like it. Lunch, very well priced, the sea bream wasn't fried to death either. Everything else was poor in taste and so on. “Vegetable bed” were pieces of red and green peppers tossed in the pan. “Jägerschnitzel” was a breaded schnitzel with paprika sauce. So no Jägerschnitzel. I'm sorry, but I don't have to again.

The food was very tasty and the waitresses were very nice. It was just very cold because the heaters were off and the door outside was partially open. Upon request, the door was closed for a short time but the heaters were not turned on.

The place looks very inviting. But more appearances like his. Drinks orders are already taken even though you don't even have your jacket off yet. The marrow dumpling soup is a joke. Spiced water with 3 dumplings (industrial product) €5.90 wow. Small menu on public holidays, yes, but at least it makes it tasty. 17.50 € for a Zagreb platter with children's schnitzel 3Cevapcici and minced meatballs and 2 spoons of rice. There was also the good, cheap Metro Ketchup. I'm happy to pay more in the restaurant, but not for something like that. Too bad. Merry Christmas

Okay for a business trip and an overnight stay. Unfortunately, despite the double glazing, there are quite loud street noises. And on top of that, the constant ringing of church bells. Breakfast okay. You can quickly get to the small Kelkheim Münster train station and then quickly to Frankfurt.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is super cozy. But we sat in the backyard. That wasn't exhilarating. You had to request extra pillows. Cars park not far from the seats. It's just not nice outside for me.

Excellent food for three. 3x lunch menu (meat platter or sea bass) for €12.90 each. This consisted of a vegetable soup and a large salad. Both very, very tasty. The fish was perfectly fried, the grilled vegetables varied and very well prepared. The meat menu (cevapcici, cutlet and meatloaf) with rice was simply great. A clear recommendation. We would love to come back.

We go here regularly. In summer we like to sit outside. The portions are filling and taste good.

We ate at the Gasthof Zum Löwen this evening and as a family we have to say we are very impressed. The food came quite quickly and the staff was very attentive. It tasted excellent and it was freshly prepared....at the end a liqueur as a thank you for eating at Löwen and all for €20 including a drink per person...what more could you want.

Seit Jahren kommen und genießen wir das Essen beim Goldenen Löwen und Chefkoch Stipe. Wir fühlen uns immer sehr willkommen und das mediterrane/ kroatische Essen ist immer sehr lecker. Der Service ist recht schnell und wir freuen uns immer auf die Juliska nach dem Essen (ein Kurzes zum Verdauen aufs Haus). Größer Pluspunkt ist, dass das Restaurant zumindest auf der unteren Ebene für Rollstuhlfahrer erreichbar ist. Man kann über den Hinterhof/ Biergartenrichtigung stufenlos ins Innere. Man kann auch tolle Familienfeiern ausrichten. Wir hatten immer sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht, egal ob Hochzeitsfeier, Geburtstag oder Kommunion/Firmung. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne zu Stipe!

Super Eis! Auch außergewöhnliche Sorten, wie Zabaione oder Amaretto. Nicht alles ist beschriftet, einfach fragen. Kaffee auch gut.

Wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht von Service Sauberkeit und Essen und einem ebenso guten Preisleistungsverhältnis. Es ist auch für den preiswerten Mittagstisch liebevoll eingedeckt und es war sehr gut besucht. Die Räumlichkeiten sind ähnlich einem älteren deutschen Lokal. Imponierend für uns war das gebotene Dreierlei des Tagesmenues Fisch, Schnitzel und Kroatisch und die Speisekarte hätte auch eine Alternative für Vegetarier geboten, denn mit Umbestellung der Beilage gab es auch kein Problem. Wir werden das Lokal wieder besuchen.

Wir sind spontan hingegangen ohne vorher zu reservieren. Es war überhaupt kein Problem, wir haben direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Essen war super und Personal sehr freundlich. Was will man mehr. Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

...wir haben heute wieder einmal versch.Platten bestellt. Unsere Gesellschaft meinte, es war das beste Kroatische Essen was sie je gegessen haben. und dem ist nichts entgegenzusetzen. rosa gebratenes Rinderfilet, hervorragendes gemischtes Grill-Gemüse, Schnitzel und.... usw. !!! wir kommen sonst wieder Vorort aber für heute sind wir total satt und happy. danke!!!!!

Gutbürgerliche Gaststätte hätte man früher dazu gesagt. Leckere Speisen mit großen Portionen, freundliche Bedienung. Angemessene Preise.
