The food at the village inn was delicious. The service was friendly and excellent. We were a little unlucky because there was a large party there, so everything took a bit longer, but otherwise it was very good.

Good, home-style cooking. If you like schnitzel, it's definitely worth a visit. The staff are super friendly, and the food and drinks are very reasonably priced.

Excellent! Meat and sausages from their own slaughter. My favorite is the Gumpersburger, fries with Swedish salad/coleslaw... Bratwurst, Kochkäse schnitzel or steak are also great.

Every year at the end of September we come to the Odenwald. Our accommodation is not far from the Green Tree, so we always visit it and were very pleased with everything this time as well. So we will be back!

Delicious food, friendly service, beautiful beer garden

We went there today for schnitzel. The food was okay—nothing special, but solid and decent. The service was really friendly and attentive, which made the visit pleasant. What was especially nice was that we were able to sit outside with our dogs, which was very relaxing. Overall, a nice place for a relaxed meal, especially in good weather.

We've been there three times in the last four weeks. The food is fresh and truly delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The homemade schnapps and liqueurs are also delicious, and you can buy them by the bottle to take home. The son is a butcher, so you can also buy sausage here. In the summer, there's a beer garden in the courtyard. The restaurant itself consists of a small dining room and a large hall. Parking is available behind the restaurant in a sufficiently large parking lot.

All is well with the world here. No stress, no hassle... everything as it should. In addition to absolutely good food, I recommend the herbal schnapps from the neighboring town afterwards.

Good home-style food. A little longer wait until the food came. But everything was occupied and only one waitress was there. Senior manager also served. Leaf lettuce was very well dressed, the rest of the lettuce was from the jar. It's probably an insider tip among cyclists. Great value for money. Gladly again.

Der Gumpersbergerbraten war ziemlich trocken und kaum Soße dabei...aber es hat gut geschmeckt und von der Portion wird man auch satt...

Durch eine Empfehlung von einem guten Freund, einfach mal eingekehrt und total begeistert von dem Ambiente und der Gastfreundschaft des Personals. Das Essen war super lecker und auch definitiv frisch zubereitet. Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis ist Top und man wird definitiv von den Portionen satt. Eine Wirtschaft in der die Zeit wohl stehen geblieben ist und das ist nicht negativ gemeint. Hab leider keine Fotos gemacht da es schon dunkel war als wir da waren. Auf jeden Fall werden wir diese Gastronomie wieder besuchen bei unserem nächsten Besuch im Odenwald.

Sehr leckere Hausmannskost, wir kommen immer wieder in unserem Urlaub gerne hierher.

Überzeugend ist die durchweg gleichbleibende und immer gute Qualität der einzelnen Gerichte über Jahre hinweg. Empfehlenswert für diejenigen, die deutsche Küche mögen.

Große Portionen … aber sehr salzig bis versalzen … Pommes vom Nachbarn ohne Salz 🤷🏻‍♀️… meine Bestellung kam falsch, da falsch verstanden … Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hat gepasst… vielleicht haben wir nur nen falschen Tag erwischt

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Bedienung empfand ich als reserviert höflich, aber nicht freundlich. Das Essen war akzeptabel, der Apfelwein super.

Hatten gestern eine Familienfeier ,Konfirmanden Vorstellung von unserem Enkel.Das Essen war perfekt ,die Bedienung bekommt ein Sonderlob,besser geht nicht.Ich kann dieses schöne Lokal mit Biergarten sehr empfehlen.
