Gasthaus Traube Wielandsweiler in Tettnang

Sind im Urlaub hier und waren gestern spontan im Gasthaus.. Mein Fazit - total leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Toller Spielplatz! Wir kommen wieder !

Alteingessene Wirtschaft mit schöner Gartenwirtschaft, sehr beliebt bei Radfahrern

Eine Wirtschaft auf dem Land wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Urig mit sehr guter Küche. Wer gute, einfache Klassiker liebt ist hier richtig. Ein wunderbarer Biergarten und rustikales, stimmiges inneres. Hier fühlt man sich wohl und gut aufgehoben.

Sehr guter Gasthof, auch der Biergarten ist super. Freundliche Mitarbeiter, es war viel los, und trotzdem hat alles gut geklappt. Essen war sehr gut, vielen Dank. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Fazit: ich werde ab jetzt regelmäßig in die Traube gehen. Die Maultaschen sind spitze und der Kartoffelsalat ist nicht zu toppen.

Spontan hier mit dem Rad vorbei gekommen. Im Biergarten gesehen und perfekt gegessen. Tafelspitz mit Meerrettich, dazu Bratkartoffeln und ein gemischter Salat. Kühle Getränke und netter aufmerksamer Service. Wunderschöner Ort

Nachtischkarte mit klassischen regionalen Desserts, hausgemacht. Freundlicher Service. Kinderspielplatz im Garten. Bei gutem Wetter optimal. Bei Regen drinnen gemütliche Tische. Absolute Empfehlung für eine gutbürgerliche Gastwirtschaft.

Sehr gutes Essen, preiswert und regional!

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub gleich drei Mal dort. Hab viele verschiedene Sachen probiert. Alles war richtig gut. Jedes Mal Salat dazu, bodenständig, kein Firlefanz, echt lecker. Lassen Sie sich die Nachtisch-Karte geben :-)

Das Gasthaus ist für seine Ente bekannt, für die mal unbedingt reservieren muss, was sich aber lohnt. Es wird eine halbe Ente als zwei Viertel serviert. Erst wenn man das erste Viertel gegessen hat, wird das zweite serviert. Falls man dies nicht mehr schaffen sollte kann man sich selbiges zur Mitnahme einpacken lassen. Die Beilagen sind Rotkohl, Semmelknödel, Kroketten und Soße, die immer wieder nach Wunsch nachbestellt werden können. Die Gaststätte ist immer gut besucht und alle Plätze voll besetzt. Die Bedienung ist wirklich sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Und hat ein gutes Trinkgeld mehr als verdient. Für jemanden der gut bürgerliche und üppig Essen mag, ist die Traube ein Muss.

Yes. Why do they go digital with ordering in Wielandsweiler? Is that really necessary? It's zero benefit for the guest. The food is good, once it's taken by the waiter, who is overwhelmed by the ordering machine. If you ignore that nonsense, it's a lovely restaurant.

At 8:40 p.m. the place was closed.

We ate there on Saturday evening, and I can honestly say the food was delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. We'd be happy to come back.

A newspaper article lured us to the "Traube." Result: Salad and Fädle soup were very good. On the grill plate, the fries won out due to the quantity, while the rather small, well-cooked pieces of meat lost out. The cabbage dumplings were perhaps left in the pan a little too long. The sauerkraut and potato dumplings were unfortunately not good. The baked Maultaschen were unfortunately not "balanced" in flavor. Perhaps the kitchen was stressed with the crowd? The potato salad praised in the newspaper was as it should be. No better, no worse. Thanks to the service. Stressed, but friendly.

Homely and delicious food paired with friendly staff!

A lovely beer garden with shortcomings in both service and food. One of the waitresses seemed stressed. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the worn menu. The lack of friendliness was partially compensated for by the prompt delivery of drinks. Unfortunately, we had to wait longer for the food. The main courses didn't arrive at the same time either. The next table, which arrived later, was served much earlier. The quality of the food is also rather average. The mercilessly overseasoned fries were a particular negative. The side salads are a positive. Overall, unfortunately, only 3 stars.

We can't really give a review of the food. We tried to go to an empty table, but were simply told, "Unfortunately, this table is reserved." (There was no sign or anything similar.) And they did it quite rudely, without even looking at us.

One of our favorite places on the planet: a restaurant with a beer garden, a small menu featuring regional specialties at reasonable prices. Plus, delicious desserts. Indoor and outdoor seating, and very family-friendly with a playground. Highly recommended!

A very nice inn in an idyllic setting, with good food and friendly service. A cozy beer garden under an old linden tree. There's a lovely playground for children.

Very good food. Everything is homemade. Fresh salad, large portions. Reasonably priced. The service is very friendly. You feel welcome here. We'll be happy to come back.

The ambiance is very nice. Unfortunately, the waitress politely asked us to leave our table, as it was supposedly reserved. Unfortunately, there was no sign indicating this. After we at least got a hand-held beer for the playground, there were always tables available. No one even thought to offer us a table, so we drove home with empty stomachs after 60 minutes.

Very attentive, friendly service, the grilled meat could have been improved in terms of flavor...not enough roasted flavor, the meat on the fries...very difficult to cut on the plate. The beer garden under a large linden tree...rustic and not very comfortable...so not suitable for a longer, cozy evening for us.

A lovely old inn with a cozy beer garden and good service. The food was tasty. However, the meat, pork and turkey, was too stringy for us, hence a one-star deduction.

Friendly staff. Dogs welcome. Good home-style food, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find these days.

Eating duck is, as always, a pleasure.

It was okay. We ordered half a duck. It came in two halves and was good. The napkin dumplings were very mild but okay. The croquettes were too fatty and the red cabbage was very good. All in all okay. The service was very reserved and the ambience was okay.

Dieses historische Wirtshaus im Bodensee-Hinterland kann man guten Gewissens sehr empfehlen. Die Essensqualität ist sehr gut und die Portionen sind gut bemessen. Hier wird noch klassisch gut gekocht, ohne Zusätze wie Geschmacksverstärker etc.. Die Salate sind auch alle sehr lecker zubereitet und frisch. Und der Kartoffelsalat und die Bratkartoffeln sind ein Gedicht. Es gibt sogar hauseigenen roten und weißen Apfelmost und Apfelsaft. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und die Wirtin arbeitet tatkräftig im Service mit. Weil das Gasthaus sehr gut besucht und beliebt ist, empfiehlt sich eine rechtzeitige Reservierung.

Absolutely authentic, rustic country inn where time has apparently stopped. The food was delicious, the boiled beef was tender as butter, the potato salad was delicious. We'll be back

The Gasthaus Traube is one of the restaurants that we have been visiting on vacation on Lake Constance for many years. We also noticed that the main courses were a little more expensive. Nevertheless, the food, the ambience and the service are still top. We will continue to enjoy visiting the Traube, the Tafelspitz and the dessert menu alone are worth a visit, or even several.

We recently visited this restaurant! You have to say the ambience outside is very nice. Lots of greenery and it's great to sit under the trees. There is also a playground for the children. Now about the food... I can't understand many of the reviews. The food is very simple and prepared. The spaetzle were definitely not homemade, and the grill plate wasn't particularly tasty either. A brown sauce was poured over the meat, which didn't go well with it at all. Wasn't on the menu either! In general, the quality, presentation and taste could be improved.

Wir waren enttäuscht über das Essen. Das Kretzerfilet paniert für 26€ mit Remouladensoße war für das Geld eine Zumutung……der Schweinebraten mit Spätzle(waren keine Spätzle, sondern Knöpfle) war ebenfalls kein tolles Essen für das Geld. Service war ok.

It's unfortunate to see what has become of what was once a tasty insider tip. If the quality of the food and service do not improve soon, and the prices are not brought back to a reasonable level, I will avoid this inn in the future.

We were there for dinner today. It was a nice evening, the food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was right, we sat outside in the beer garden and felt comfortable. The service was attentive and the final conversation with the owner was pleasant and informative.

A cold wind blew through the guest garden, unfortunately we were not allowed to take the table into the sun.

A nice, simple restaurant in the hinterland, we have enjoyed eating there for many years. So far everything has been fine, nice beer garden, good service, we have always been very satisfied"So far" Prices were increased by an average of 35 percent. Leberkäse with potato salad is an incredible 19.80 euros, fried potatoes as a side dish from 4 to 6 euros. The statement from the waitress that they have remained fairly stable in terms of drink prices in no way justifies these rip-off prices. For us it was the last time in the Traube so we would go somewhere else or eat at home.

Went to the Traube yesterday, the boss was very unfriendly. We were 7 minutes before opening so it probably didn't suit her. The food was already better.

This place is a good choice for those looking for authentic, no-frills German cuisine. Located in the picturesque village of Wielandsweiler, which is part of the municipality of Tettnang, it is located a few kilometers from Lake Constance. During our visit, we had the opportunity to taste some of the restaurant's classic dishes: the Grillteller, a generous portion of grilled meats, cooked to perfection and accompanied by side dishes that enhanced the flavours; the wurstsalat, a fresh sausage salad, ideal for a summer meal, light but just satisfying; the Tettnanger Spargel an Holländischer, Tettnang asparagus served with hollandaise sauce, a simple and fresh dish. The asparagus, tender and cooked just right, married harmoniously with the creaminess of the abundant sauce. Overall positive experience, taking into account the quality of the dishes, hospitality and prices.

Great roast duck in 2 courses with dumplings and red cabbage. Highly recommended. All thumbs up.

We, a family of 4, have been here several times for “duck dinner”. Simply excellent, very large portions, fast and careful service thanks to advance ordering. A very good price-performance ratio. Due to its popularity, Sunday lunchtime is usually fully booked and the dining room is naturally very noisy. But definitely worth a visit and we will come back, not only to eat duck, but also to enjoy the other delicacies.

We ate an outstanding half duck. Very friendly landlady and attentive staff. A tip: be sure to reserve a place in advance.

Eating delicious duck two weeks in a row. Both times it was very good and tasty. The restaurant in the hinterland was always completely full and unfortunately there is not enough parking space. Something definitely needs to be changed here. Once I was kind enough to park with a neighbor I met on the street. Otherwise there would have been no parking options due to the snowfall. Things aren't much better without snow. Therefore, as a tip, if possible, only come with one car per table. And a request to the operators to create more parking spaces!!! Otherwise 5 stars. Rustic, tasty, cozy, noisy pub and absolutely full. As a starter there is a delicious leaf salad with the duck. Then red cabbage, croquettes, napkin dumplings as a side dish and the first half of the duck is served. Depending on the gender of the eater, the filling consists of sausage meat or apple/fruit. When this is eaten, the second half of the duck comes, with the different filling. Of course we also serve a sauce. If you still have room for dessert after this main course, there is one. We couldn't try anything else, we were too full. We can only recommend everyone to make a reservation and without a pre-order there is probably only the normal menu. It worked very well via email. We will be back ...

Leckeres, regionales Essen in gemütlichem, einfachen Gasthaus. Reservierung zu empfehlen, da es wenig Tische hat. Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Service. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Wir waren Ende Oktober da und konnten leider den Aussenbereich nicht nutzen.

Sehr sehr schade, wir sind wegen der guten Bewertung extra vom Bodensee in des Hinterland geradelt, waren vom Essen aber leider sehr enttäuscht. Wir hatten einen Grillteller und Salat mit Champions, geht gar nicht.

Sie wollen offensichtlich nicht dass man wiederkommt. Wir haben einen großen Salat bestellt und gesagt, dass wir den zu zweit essen wollen. Ja, dann bringe ich euch ein zweites Besteck. Als wir nach einer halben Stunde nachgefragt haben, hat die Bedienung oder Chefin ? gemauert, ihr werdet schon nicht verhungern. Dann kam die Unverschämtheit, auf der Rechnung wurden 1,50 € für 2. Besteck verrechnet, und das so richtig auf dem Land. Obwohl es uns dort gefällt gehen wir ds nicht mehr hin. Überheblichkeit pur.

Liegt sehr idyllisch in wunderschöner Landschaft. Personal sehr freundlich. Super gute bürgerliche Küche. Kann ich nur empfehlen👍Zwiebelrostbraten sehr zu empfehlen.

Seit Jahren eine beliebte Gaststätte, zu der wie immer gerne wieder gehen.

Landgasthof mit langer Tradition. Die Sommerabende und der Biergarten, das passt einfach. Leicht erhöhte Lage, die wenigen nächsten Häuser in kurzer Sichtweite. Die Stuben urig, viel Holz. Aber - die Hektik, Plätze werden zugewiesen, unsere Ankunft 18 Uhr und schon ging das Gezerre los - was? Nicht reserviert? Aber ab 19:30 ist alles voll, ich muss Sie wegschicken...! Platz bei anderen Gästen "erlaubt", recht schnell bedient worden, Essen unter der Hektik schmeckte da nur mäßig. Um 19:05 sind wir regelrecht hinausgeschmissen worden ( nicht etwa um 19:30), weil der Tisch "gebraucht" wurde. Lächelnde Bedienung eher Mangelware, Gäste mehr abgefertigt als genießend. Es war Sonntag, warmer Spätsommerabend.
