Gasthaus Taube in Renningen

A charming restaurant with a lovely ambiance. Went there for lunch; the portions were generous and the food was fair. And the food was really good.

I came out on the side and was suddenly yelled at by a man coming towards me that it was red, "good woman." Only his wife understood where I was coming from and took pity on me.

Essen 10/10, but: there's currently a construction site there, so you might quickly hear someone saying, "That was red, dear lady!" However, it would all be perfectly bearable if there weren't a man constantly yelling at his Garmin navigation device to save the video.

I ate there with my wife, everything was fine, and then we wanted to order something to drink. Suddenly, out of the blue, two vehicles stopped, and one of them yelled in the car and said, "OK, save the Garmin video." We were initially very confused about what had happened, but overall, it was worth the visit!

The place itself was very nice, even though we didn't get anything to eat. As my husband and I focused on the road, a man suddenly started yelling at his Garmin device. It was strange, but still quite funny. Best, Nova

Man, it was delicious... Came shortly after half past one and still got something to eat... The potato salad tastes like mom’s😗. Cheese spaetzle Florentine style with spinach...sucky... The Flädlesuppe is awesome. Nice beer garden... Great.

We have been coming to the Gasthaus Taube regularly for over 20 years. The food is always great, the salad is seasonal and the chef often comes up with an meal a la chef that you would otherwise have to look for in the catering industry! We were here spontaneously while passing through - everything was perfect. Food, service and the ambience with the charm of a real restaurant.

We were in the Taube on June 21st, 2024. Each of us had a different dish. We all enjoyed it. The price is also okay. Salad was not charged extra in each dish ordered. This is a huge advantage for us. We love salad. It was super tasty 😋. The chef came to all the guests and asked if everyone enjoyed it. Service was equally attentive and friendly. Food was really freshly cooked and prepared. Unfortunately, since we come from Lake Constance, the journey is a bit long for us. But if we are back in the area around Renningen, Leonberg, we would be happy to come back. I was a guest here with a friend on our child-free evening during the week. The onion roast was great. Exactly medium with delicious lots of onions and fried potatoes. There was also Pils to drink. Thank you for the lovely evening with you and the nice service.

The food and service is outstanding! There aren't that many restaurants that offer such good quality anymore. The ambience is a little old but in my opinion that doesn't matter because it is balanced out by very good service and quality. Price/performance is also okay.

Childhood memories came back to life, the food like back then at grandma's in Hechingen....👍😊

Bodenständiges Lokal, Preis/Leistung absolut stimmig. Portionen nicht allzu groß, dennoch wird man für bspw. Linsen, Spätzle und 2 Saitenwürstchen für 12 Euro absolut satt. Service könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein.

Gut bürgerliches Restaurant mit fleischlastigen schwäbischen Gerichten. Einige wenige vegetarische, keine veganen Gerichte. Die Portionen sind ausreichend groß, und recht lecker. Das Ambiente lässt zu wünschen übrig, die 80/90er lassen grüßen. Die Servicekräfte waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zu empfehlen!

Typisches schwäbisches Lokal, vor allem das Ambiente hat eben noch den alten Charme. Essen super, alles hausgemacht, über Jahre hinweg stabile Qualität. Der Chef probiert auch innerhalb der schwäbischen Küche Dinge aus, bspw. Vor Kurzem Kässpätzle mit Kürbis (sehr lecker).

Das Essen war sehr salzig und nicht wirklich ein Highlight. Unverschämt fand ich dass uns extra Teller und Besteck berechnet wurden als wir ins ein Gericht geteilt haben und uns das nicht vorher gesagt wurde!! Darum war es auch eher teuer. Ich würde nicht wieder hin gehen.

Noch nie saure Nierle gegessen aber die Sosse und Bratkartoffeln ( auch die Nierle Spitzenklasse)

Schönes ländliches Lokal.Gehen dort hin wenn wir im Grosshandel sind.Sauber u.unheimlich leckeres Essen und supernette Chefin.Wer sehr gute bürgerliche Küche liebt ist hier goldrichtig.

Wir waren das erstmal hier, aber nicht das letzte mal. Super leckere schwäbische Küche alles selbst gemacht, sehr nette Bedienung, und große Portionen.

Habe das GasthausTaube bei gutem Wetter besucht.bin immer wieder vom herzlicher Empfang begeistert natürlich habe ich mein geliebtes Schwabenpfännle mit bestem Appetit verzehrt wie immer beste Qualität

War heute mal wieder im Gasthaus Taube. Service sehr gut. Man sollte reservieren. Wie so oft den Rostbraten gegessen mit Bratkartoffeln. Fleisch super Qualität, saftig, Soße genial würzig, könnte ich literweise essen, Bratkartoffeln knusprig und würzig. Ich gehe da regelmäßig gerne hin.

Gemütliches Restaurant/Biergarten mit schwäbischer/deutscher Küche und freundlichem Personal. Hatte vorzügliches Siedfleisch mit Meerrettichsauce, Salzkartoffeln und gem. Salat für 17,50 €. Lecker und pappsatt. Gerne wieder.

Ja - es gibt es noch: die traditionelle Dorfgaststätte im Ortskern mit Braten, Schnitzel, Semmelknödel und Spätzle, ... ergänzt mit einer umfangreichen Karte mit saisonalen Gerichten. Nette Atmosphäre, freundliche Bedienung, faire Preise und geschmeckt hat es natürlich auch sehr gut.

Urige alte Speisegaststätte mit einem flair von gehobener Gastronomie. Das essen war hervorragend... Wir werden diese exzellente Küche noch des öffteren aufsuchen.

Solide - Das Essen war gut und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Der Service etwas lieblos, allerdings kamen wir auch kurz vor der Mittagspause.

Super Essen. Ist nur zu empfehlen.

Hatten uns heute nach einem tollen Wandertag SchniPoSa abgeholt und zuhause genossen. Hat hervorragend geschmeckt - Schnitzel und Pommes schön knusprig und klasse Salate! Das ganze komplett ohne Abfall in den Circle Pfandbehältern👍 Sehr empfehlenswert 😋

Freitagabend ohne Taube - Covid ist schuld. Aber das Essen, das wir als Ersatz abgeholt haben, hat so gut geschmeckt, dass wir wenigstens "nur" auf unsere lieben Freunde und nicht auf ein leckeres Freitagsessen verzichten mussten. Danke Anja und Claus
