Gasthaus "Schwarze Seele" in Radebeul

I am not convinced by this store.

Food is super tasty every year, it could be a little more for the price. But there really is some decent home cooking! Service always great! We'll be back!

Today we were in the "Black Soul" with several parties. First of all, the service was fantastic, always at exactly the right moment, unobtrusive but super friendly! I was a little disappointed with the food, as was almost everyone at the table. I had the liver myself and it tasted very good. Personally, the onions were too raw and not caramelized for me. The mashed potatoes were far too runny and ran wide. Portion so that someone who generally doesn't eat much gets only limited or not at all full. My husband had a pan-fried dish, here too the liver was great, the bratwurst was ok, unfortunately the steak was very thick, very fatty and quite tough, as well as too bland. As I said, everything was okay. However, for me, not so much that I have to repeat the visit, unless you're in a group again, so I won't say no.

We can highly recommend the Wirthaus Schwarze Seele, it is located in Radebeul Altkötzschenbroda on the promenade, there is good food😋 from schnitzel to roulades and so on. In the evening you can sit outside very well (🌞summer) and enjoy drinks.. the surroundings are very beautiful and lively.😊 Kind regards from Meissen 👍

We've had the pleasure of enjoying excellent meals in a cozy setting with top-notch service on several occasions. We were happy that even on Mondays, when many restaurants in Radebeul were closed, our guests didn't have to make the long journey home hungry. Hot food was still available even after 8 p.m. Thank you so much, we'll be happy to come back!

Visited the restaurant on Monday, March 17th. Ambience very inviting, not overcrowded. Tastefully decorated. A feel-good atmosphere guaranteed. Service top. The lady was very attentive, reserved, but always there at the right time. Food: very good. All 4 portions are served to the guest at the same time and, above all, HOT. Attractively presented, very tasty. Conclusion: Everything is absolutely recommended, we will be back.

Yesterday I was there again for a long time. I have always been satisfied so far, but the service and the dish we ordered were not sufficient. Our drinks only came after about 15 minutes. The food was good, but hardly seasoned, lukewarm to cold. If you pay a certain price, it should be fine. Unfortunately this was not the case, which is a real shame. Unfortunately, we are a bit disappointed and will probably not come back.

Spontaneously went for coffee with visitors at the “Schwarze Seele”, it was well attended. Nice atmosphere, we were seated without waiting. Many visitors first became aware of this through an advertising campaign by the restaurant! You could pay in cash and receive a 10% discount. Cake selection was good.

Black souls are drawn to the “Black Soul” inn as if by an invisible force. So we ended up sitting down in this cozy inn, which was furnished with attention to detail. The service welcomed us very friendly. The menu is varied and special. For example, Edelmond cocoa is available completely without sugar and of course with various milk alternatives. The Choco Chai and Turmeric Espresso hot chocolate was to our liking. We rely on regional suppliers and quality and you can taste it. The entrecôte was spot on, very tender and had a very good taste. The fried potatoes with it were excellent, perfectly combined with marjoram and other spices. The children's menu was clear but not just the typical standard program. There were pens and you could choose the straws for the drink yourself. We were very satisfied and would love to come back! Thank you. Also for 10% on cash payments!

If you want to eat and drink something good in a stylishly enchanted inn with very friendly staff, you will get your money's worth here.

I recently had a meal at the Schwarzer Seele guesthouse with my mother, from the very loving service to the very good food, everything was perfect, very fair prices for what you get, and for dog owners like me, dogs are welcome.

The “Schwarze Seele” is a restaurant with a special atmosphere. As a guest I was treated excellently, the food tasted fantastic. I would like to highlight the homemade ice cream. It is very tasty. I feel very comfortable here, otherwise I wouldn't be a repeat offender. Stop by and find out why the “Black Soul” got its name.

You are so wonderfully imperfect (like us) and that makes you so human and amazing. We felt welcome and in good hands. The service is so nice. The food so delicious. The ambience is impressive. We'll be back.

Based on a recommendation, we actually wanted to go to the steakhouse next door. But it was closed on Sunday. The food was super tasty and the service was also very nice. Rustic atmosphere. Can only be recommended.

Small and cozy, delicious food and special requests are catered for. Nice, friendly service, what more could you want...and then there's a discount plus voucher for cash payment...unbelievable and fantastic and phenomenal. We'd love to come back.

Went for lunch today on January 18th 25th 12pm. Rustic atmosphere, nice service and delicious food, what more could you want. There was an extra surprise for the birthday child and a glass of champagne on the house for the guests. We'll be back🤗

5 euros per glass of tap water is absurd. The food is amazing but don’t ask for tap water. Beer and soft drinks are significantly cheaper.

I called on the spur of the moment and reserved two places straight away. Employees on the phone were very friendly and accommodating. Pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Great atmosphere, kitschy but nice. The food was good old German cuisine and very good. We are happy to have chosen the Black Soul.

There were a large group of us and we sat in the romantic courtyard. Very idyllic and pleasantly cool in the simmer, even with a little splashing. The service was very nice and attentive and the food was great. My 300g steak was perfect, medium and melted in the mouth. I would like to see a completely redesigned map. It seems completely unstructured, overloaded and split in the middle with a super long story about the place. The classifications are not always logical, because there is both vegetarian, which is often a salad, while there are salads separately as a category. I would recommend looking online at maps like the Café Luise in Leipzig or the Volkshaus in Leipzig to see what a map should look like that looks neat and clear to the eye. But let's be honest: if the only thing you can do better is a clear map... what more could you want? Nevertheless, the menu is the first core piece of a restaurant, where you can evoke many statements, impressions and emotions. I would put the history of the location in as a QR code, which leads to YouTube, where the text is read out to you and illustrated. Gladly again!!

Unfortunately, Cuba Libre has nothing to do with that. It was a Caipirinha with what felt like 4cl of cola. After a short friendly complaint, the same cocktail came back with a larger sip of cola. Cane sugar also doesn't belong in a Cuba Libre. Not recommended!

It was very pleasant, even though free tables were declared reserved, we were allowed to sit down upon request. Diagonally across the street in the pub, we were immediately shouted at in the most unfriendly way when we sat down and overlooked the somewhat hidden “reserved” sign. We ended up in the restaurant by chance and didn't regret it. A really great and friendly service, a special compliment for that! The food was good and I had the Thursday dish “Wiegebraten”, which was very tasty…especially the mashed potatoes. I know Wiegebraten a little differently, namely as meatloaf, but the meatloaf served was also convincing. 😉At a price of just under €12, that's ok too.

Great shop, food was perfect, service was perfect anyway, not too intrusive but still caring and nice. Definitely coming back. The food was very nicely prepared and, in my opinion at least, there was something for everyone. So as a German would say - you can't complain :D Thank you and all the best!

Rustic gastronomy on the village green. That fits overall and in detail

There is nothing to complain about here, we had dinner with a small child at the weekend and were served very friendly and courteous. There is a high chair for children and also a small menu. It's great that the children's meal also looks like "real food" and is not just a loveless combination of fries or pasta with red sauce and nothing else. Roulades are great and so is the farmer's breakfast. For me the portions could be a little larger, but I can always eat the leftovers from the child 😃

Unfortunately, we didn't even manage to eat in the obviously cozy restaurant, but we stayed in one of the also very cozy holiday apartments and spent a few lovely days (despite mixed weather) in Altkötzschenbroda. Highly recommended and gladly again!

I was there with a group. Good food, served quickly and nicely. Since there is no bus parking there, the boss offered to drive me to the parking lot. He didn't have to do that because an employee from the public order office spontaneously got in and showed me the parking lot. Nice visit to Radebeul and the Black Soul

The four of us were there twice on vacation, small but nice, the staff and furnishings friendly and authentic. All the dishes were very tasty, the liver, the Bohemian dumplings with goulash, the BEEF FILLET SALAD and by far the best and tastiest ice cream for dessert in a long time are worth the visit alone. Cozy atmosphere and everything fits together very well, rustic old German food like Flecke or Grützwurst are a really good change from tofu balls with gluten-free waffles gratinated with vegan cheese. Prices are reasonable for the area. You have to be a little lucky to park at peak times (careful, the O-Amt is busy).

Hello, because of the top rating we were looking forward to a great, somewhat special meal. The price level is quite high, so we were disappointed. Fried potatoes weren't really crispy, the meat was thin, very firm and almost too salty. The only highlight was the black beer. It's a shame and maybe the chef had a bad day today.

We stopped here for lunch a short time ago...on a Sunday. For two and without a reservation. Luckily we got there early enough to get a free table. We received very attentive and friendly service from the beginning to the end of our stay. Many thanks in advance to the young lady from the service. The menu mainly contains dishes based on home cooking, which we really like. Starting with roulades, schnitzel, liver, grits sausage, there is even flecken stew. We mainly use local products, which we think is really great. The prices are reasonable. The drinks we ordered were served in a short time. We ordered schnitzel with fried potatoes and vegetables and a small portion of rabbit liver with mashed potatoes. The normal portions are more than large and sufficient. The restaurant was filling up more and more, so that even guests without a table reservation had to be turned away. We received our ordered food in a reasonable time and were once again very satisfied. Everything tasted very good. We will be back. I would like to make a small note. Please clean the outside of the salt and pepper shakers every day. “Our” salt shaker had a dried splatter of something on it.

Very long waiting time, despite us (7 people) were alone. The service person was a bit unsure/clumsy, but very nice. There is a lot of emphasis on regional products here, and big praise for that. The atmosphere is very cozy, antique furniture and beautiful decorations. Toilets were clean. Conclusion: would love to come again.

Bewertet wird nur das Restaurant, nicht die Ferienwohnung. Essen ist gut. War in den letzten Jahren mehrmals dort, zu verschiedenen Jahreszeiten. Ich mag das Konzept von Motto-Tagen. Freitags ist z.B. Fischtag. Da gibt es den Fisch des Tages und ein Glas Wein der Karte für einen angemessen Preis. Bedienung war immer sehr freundlich.

Wir waren schon zum 2. Mal zum Weihnachtsessen in Familie in der Schwarzen Seele. Das frisch zubereitete Essen war sehr schmackhaft, der Service perfekt, auch das Ambiente sehr ansprechend. Wir können das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen gern wieder, vielen Dank!

Wir sind spontan hier gelandet und sind positiv überrascht. Der Service ist gut. Wir hatten heute einen Neuen im Service, der gerade angelernt wurde. Er hat es nicht schlecht gemacht - doch bei zwei Personen wäre es schön, wenn er sich zukünftig Getränke und Speisen merken könnte. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Da die Location klein ist, sollte man sich vorher vergewissern, dass man auch einen Platz bekommt. Wie komme gerne wieder.

Das Essen war gut aber leider kalt.Die Garnitur bestand aus verwelkten Salat.Der junge Kellner war freundlich schien aber überfordert zu sein. Schade.

Waren heute zum Mittagessen dort und waren leider teilweise enttäuscht. Das Essen war zum Teil kalt, vorallem der Rotkohl war eiskalt, als wir darauf hinwiesen, haben wir aber eine neue Portion bekommen. Auch die Salatgarnitur war definitiv nicht mehr frisch. Fleisch hingegen war gut, die Klöße waren aber auch nichts Besonderes. Für die angeschlagenen Preise darf so etwas in meinen Augen nicht passieren und wir haben definitiv mehr dafür erwartet. Auch die Bedienung schien teilweise überfordert zu sein und verhielt sich wenig professionell.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal schon da und die Mädls machen ihren Job wirklich gut. Respekt; weiter so.

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier in der "Schwarzen Seele" und wurden vorzüglich bedient. Das Ambiente ist urgemütlich und lädt zum verweilen ein. Beim Essen bleibt kaum ein Wunsch offen. Es ist lecker und gutbürgerlich. Die Kellnerinen waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Sonderwünsche wurden gern erfüllt. Auch die Frage eines unserer Gäste zur Geschichte des Hause wurden vom Chef ausführlich und mit Humor beantwortet. Wir sind sind uns alle einig. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend und wir kommen gern wieder. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team.

Im Vergleich zu all den anderen Restaurants, in denen wir in Altkötzschenbroda schon waren, nicht so toll in unserer Erfahrung. + einfach und jederzeit online reservierbar + Sitzplatz wurde trotz 15 min Verspätung freigehalten (danke!) . Schnitzel war gut, aber nicht eins der Besten - Beleuchtung außen nach Sonnenuntergang war nicht ausreichend, um die Speisekarte zu lesen - wir mussten sehr lange auf Personal zum Getränke bestellen warten

Schönes Lokal mit guter Außenanlage wo man auch gemütlich mal das ein oder andere Bier trinken kann

Sind super bedient worden, das Essen war erstklassig.

Wir sind nach unserem Besuch vom Schloss Wackerbarth eingekehrt und haben spontan einen Tisch für 2 + Kleinkind bekommen. Sehr gemütliches Lokal. Das Essen war OK, nichts Besonderes. Die Karte etwas unübersichtlich. Ein Angebot für ein Kindergericht wäre schön gewesen. Kinderstuhl nicht vorhanden.

Hier schmeckt es sehr gut. Guter Koch. Gaststätte ist sehr zu empfehlen. Haben in kleiner Gruppe hervorragend gefeiert.
