Sehr nettes Lokal. Das Essen war gut und reichlich, der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in GEO ist schon ein Termin vorgesehen.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Besuch im Gasthaus Zum Schlappn in Gerolzhofen. Das Essen war gut, die Portionen ordentlich und besonders das Schäufele war wirklich gut. Der Garten ist sehr schön gestaltet, mit viel Grün und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre zum Sitzen und Genießen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt absolut: Qualität und Preise sind völlig in Ordnung. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Gasthaus, in das wir gerne wiederkommen.

Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker und das Ambiente im Biergarten ist auch sehr einladend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Der Garten war ganz schön, die Innenräume renovierungsbedürftig. Meine Begleitung waren über das Schäuferle recht begeistert. Das Bier war sehr gut. Mein vegetarischer Gericht war aber recht halbherzig. Eine fette Pampe. Ich würde dem Koch empfehlen eher auf sowas wie auf ein Grünkernbratling umzusteigen als dem Gast so was wie ich serviert bekommen habe zuzumuten.

Schöner schattiger Biergarten und sehr gute Schnitzelgerichte.

Empfohlen von Camperhandel C3F kamen wir um 17 Uhr an. Die Gaststätte fühlte sich bereits um diese Zeit an einem Mittwoch sehr schnell. Dennoch gab man uns noch einen Tisch und hatten noch 2 Stunden Zeit bis zur nächsten Reservierung. Super nettes Personal, Ambiente passt und vorallem das Essen war äußerst lecker und das zu moderaten Preisen. Wir kommen wieder, versprochen!

Kenne die Location schon seit fast 30 Jahren. Leider habe ich bis vor zwei Jahren in Nürnberg gelebt. Nach meiner Rückkehr in die Region (SEF, Mittelfranken) haben wir GEO besucht und den legendären Schlappn aufgesucht. Service, Preis/Leistung und Ambiente absolut TOP.... das legedäre Schnitzelbrot hat sich bis heute nicht verändert.... einfach lecker wie Anno-Dazumal! Wir kommen garantiert wieder

Im Netz geschaut & da war es als Geöffnet gekennzeichnet, angekommen & geschlossen, toll. Wegen Reichtum geschlossen. Hier fahre ich nicht noch einmal einfach so hin.

Bisher waren wir immer sehr zufrieden. Es darf auch mal was schief gehen. Aber heute haben wir den Supergau erlebt. Wirsching war grau statt grün und verkocht, der Schweinebraten war zäh, das Schnitzel minderwertiges Feisch und die Bedienung unverschämt frech. Nach einer konstruktiven Kritik hat sie sich benommen wie ein Kindergartenkind, trotzig und beleidigt. Den üblichen Schnaps aufs Haus hat sie uns dann auch noch verweigert. Für uns der letzte Besuch.

Wir waren im Dezember zu Dritt dort. Obwohl das Lokal gut besucht war, haben wir ohne Reservierung einen Tisch zugewiesen bekommen und das Essen war in wenigen Minuten mit Beilagensalat bei uns am Tisch. Das Personal ist mega freundlich und die Portionen sind reichlich. Vielen lieben Dank für den tollen Sevice.

A beautiful inn located right in the heart of Gerolzhofen. Large portions at incredibly fair prices. Super fresh quality. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. In summer, the beer garden is perfect. It's also ideal for family celebrations as there's a small private room. We always love coming back!

Good, traditional German cuisine, large portions, and very tasty. Extensive menu, even during the week. Our group of four was served quickly and courteously (despite the restaurant being very busy). The rump steak was sensational! A generous portion of fries and a salad accompanied it. Excellent value for money – highly recommended!

The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The staff was also exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable from the very beginning. The prices are reasonable and perfectly fair for the quality. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Food was absolutely good, but service? I was sent away at lunchtime, which was fine because it was quiet at lunchtime. I was supposed to come back at 5 p.m. I waited 3.5 hours, and then I was sent away because I didn't have a reservation. Sorry, but that's a way to scare away guests! It's probably not necessary.

Excellent food in a family atmosphere! Nine of us dined at Gasthaus Schlappn – and everyone loved it! I had the roast beef with onions and fries and salad: excellent quality, perfectly prepared, and a real highlight in terms of taste. Despite the large group, all dishes arrived almost simultaneously – which shows how well-organized the staff is. The service was friendly, attentive, and very professional, while the atmosphere remained warm and welcoming throughout. The value for money here is truly unbeatable – you rarely get such good food at such fair prices. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

We were there with a larger group, and it seemed to be very busy. The crew had everything under control and was in such a good mood that there was no sign of stress. A huge compliment for that. The food was very good and the prices were more than reasonable. At the end, we were treated to a nightcap on the house, which isn't so common everywhere these days. We were all very satisfied, and the next time we're in the area, this will be our first choice for food.

We had to wait a bit, but it wasn't a big deal; I think it was much worse for the service than for us. We did get a free schnapps/espresso, but even without it, we felt really comfortable, and as long as the service is nice and friendly, I don't mind a bit of a wait (and it really wasn't that long; a completely normal wait when the place is busy). A small restaurant in the heart of Gerolzhofen. We've been there a few times with our group; we recommend making a reservation in advance, as it's always quite busy. I also recommend that they're very knowledgeable about gluten-free options. They serve cordon bleu with fries or "Schlappen" (small pancakes), as well as other delicious dishes that are gluten-free. Excellent. I can recommend it without reservation.

Wir hatten einen ruhigen Tisch zum Hochzeitstag reserviert. Als wir ankamen hätten wir einen Tisch direkt am Durchgang zum Garten bekommen wo auf der anderen Seite des Tisches der Eingang zu den Toiletten ist. Uns wurde als Alternative das ransetzen an einem anderen Tisch angeboten...Wenn das der Service ist, so ist das einfach nur Mangelhaft. Sind dann in ein anderes sehr gutes Restaurant gegangen.

On a day when the restaurant is full, you unfortunately have to wait an extremely long time for your food, which also arrives very staggered. While passing through, we happened to pass the restaurant, which seemed inconspicuous from the outside. Although everything was full and the waitresses were extremely demanding, one of the ladies immediately tried to accommodate us in the absolutely beautiful garden decorated in a Mediterranean style (lots of rich lemon trees)! Anyone who ends up in Gerolzhofen should not miss the very good food in this restaurant! Price and performance are top! The service, fast and very friendly even at peak times!

Hier kann man noch wirklich gut fränkisch Essen. Wir waren mit Freunden hier. Es hatte jeder etwas anderes bestellt: Zunge mit Nudeln, Schnitzel mit Pommes. Spargel mit Schinken, Lendchenpfanne, Försterschnitzel, Leberknödelsuppe. Alle Gericht frisch und lecker zubereitet, der Salat wurde als Vorspeise serviert und war lecker abgeschmeckt. Die jungen Bedienungen waren sehr nett und flott. Das Gasthaus war „rappelvoll“ und wir waren froh, dass wir reserviert hatten. Ansonsten hätten wir keine Chance gehabt. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis gut. Der Biergarten mit den tollen Zitrusbäumen auch sehr schön. Parkplatzsituation am Wochenende schwierig.

Always worth a visit. They serve delicious home-cooked food at fair prices. The staff was always friendly, and everything in the restaurant was clean. The highlight, in my opinion, is the schnitzel sandwich (see photo). It's enough to fill everyone up.

We visited the restaurant with a group of eight people. Unfortunately there were not enough menus available for all guests. In addition, two dishes were served with a delay of 15 minutes compared to the remaining six dishes. What is positive, however, is the generous portion size, which ensures that every guest is full. The ambience is rustic, but the renovation style seems a bit thrown together.
